41  Other / Meta / Re: I'm starting a blog about my life here as a merit source. on: May 29, 2018, 02:40:07 PM
I've just put B2evolution onto Talk Merit, and i'm going to use it to write a blog about my activities as a bitcoin talk member, merit source, domain name dealer and Bitcoin investor. My main purpose in doing this is to try to improve the quality of the posting on Bitcoin Talk.
If it is your blog how possibly it concerns bitcointalk members? I supposed this is the wrong board for your idea I think it is suitable in other section off-topic or serious discussion IDK. Sorry if I misunderstand something about your post but I thought meta only a discussion about bitcoin forum can you explain this sir Jet Cash on a more in depth details with the same benign custom.

So what type of articles would you guys like to see in a blog?
How about start with a good introduction about bitcoin in general and advance with a more complex technology as a domain name dealer?
42  Economy / Lending / Re: Need 0.03 to 0.05 btc loan against Localbitcoin on: May 29, 2018, 02:27:24 PM
An individual asking a loan of 0.10BTC offering also his localbitcoin account perhaps you were hearing this sort of account is worth to make a valid request and hoping someone will trust you with a localbitcoin account, as long as request have a valid collateral a good lender will help you in times of your need.

P.S. If you only (provide) a valid collateral.
43  Other / Meta / Re: Merit for helping on moderating the forum (?!) on: May 28, 2018, 09:36:04 PM
There's likely no easy way to prove that you haven't been abusing the merit system. But, it doesn't matter too much if it's being abused on a small scale. It will likely only become a problem if a merit source was abusing the system and there's ways to tell whether they are abusing it.
In this case this is bad according to Welsh input on my merit system flaw.

If the moderator is a merit source an action is required for this sort of phenomenon.
44  Other / Meta / Re: Merit system is corrupted. Need upgrade with changes . on: May 28, 2018, 08:58:12 PM
TLDR: O.P if it clearly shows that you have a hard time earning merit just spend your time to do something important whether (online or offline). complaining and whining entitled as a bad character of this community.

I apologize if I am wrong. I just share current situation.
Apology accepted like I am the owner of this forum. However you need not to worry about the situation we all witnessing the same experience consecutively every weeks.

45  Economy / Lending / Re: 0.1 BTC Loan Request-0.02 BTC Paid Back Within 2 Weeks! on: May 28, 2018, 06:55:15 PM
Thieves main target nowadays are an individual wearing a Copper Membership. supposedly if some new member is wearing a copper membership they are an easy target because scammers thought that it is easier to scam some gullible person.

But I'm not saying you are a gullible person O.P it just lead to the same pattern.
46  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: About the private key on: May 28, 2018, 06:05:08 PM
You can also hide the wallet.dat file on a picture/audio using steganography along with your xpriv and xpub why? to concealed the important information to backup your wallet.
Security by obscurity is a bad approach.

You don't need to 'hide' anything if it is properly encrypted.
You can of course combine steganography and cryptography. That way, you're protected from both online and offline attacks. If a burglar can't even see your keys, he won't search for them (or ask you about them at gun point).

You are right. But relying on a wallet file hidden inside another medium as the only backup would be negligent. At least one additional type of backup should exist (which is also vulnerable in such a situation).

While i think it is a good idea to encrypt a wallte file with a strong password, convert it to hex, print it out and store it 'physically' to stay safe in such situations, i think that a wallet file hidden in a picture/audio file is unefficient and unreliable.
It is way more error-prone to create/store/access such a digital backup which also seems to be kind of redundant. If you have a wallet installed the thief will know you own coins. If you don't, you don't need a digital backup.

A physical backup (e.g. wallet hex printed) will also not be recognised by a burglar, is less error-prone and serves as a physical backup which is needed anyway.

While i do agree with steganography being very useful in addition to cryptography, i do not think Cobalt9317's approach would be utilizing steganography as it should.
Indeed I really am using the steganography skill to hide my custom seed on txt files extension even if the digital data was stolen no humanely technical analysis nor statistics can possibly guess my password let alone guess my 5 random foreign words. and who would have thought that there's a secret data inside a plain picture.

If I lost the private key. How can I restore my BTC
It depends if you are using windows 7 or later there's a so called restore from a certain point in restoration setting of windows and if you are lucky you might be able to restore your wallet.dat along with your privatekey and publickey furthermore do not try this unless you are certain you've really lost your file.

If you are using Linux distro if you made a backup you possibly also made a backup of your electrum/bitcore file.

You only ask how to restore btc if you lose the privatekey but didn't put any specific details to further help you with this regard I guess just search it so you can have a simple idea how btc works in general.

50  Economy / Lending / Re: [Need a loan of 0.3 BTC Payback within 1-2 month.] on: May 27, 2018, 03:39:50 PM
Dear community,

recently i got scammed.

Now i need a loan of 0.3BTC

can anyone help me on this loan?

Kind regards.
If someone ever decided to loan you of 0.3BTC his/her capital balance would lead to disaster of prosperity because the amount you are requesting could be paid feasibly instant it is so big that made me wonder if the amount scammed from you is equally to what your asking.

Locked this thread honestly speaking I supposed you get all the excitement when a boy told you that he can list your token on a big exchange.

It is your life lesson with pretty cost

He needs to be painted red for that sort of behavior oh well he stands out now not to mention he does not received any merit within the duration of the merit system it is now easier to find cheater and bounty abuser.

He did not put any effort for using his own ability to translate the task given to him but it is a common attitude of alt account/spammer however upon looking to this user his post is limited on local boards it is hard to pass judgment whether he spams or not.

53  Economy / Services / Re: I need writers for telegram. Good payment weekly on: May 27, 2018, 10:03:05 AM
You need an escrow for this sort of service and after a 3 to 4 weeks of automatically paying 12 participants you will be deem trustworthy and more people will be interested in your writers for telegram offer.

I can offer my free escrow service for this one as long as I am only holding the funds weekly.

Let me know I've already pmed you in telegram with the same username.

This sounds good to be true if oneself refer you to someone you will create a set of gifs and stickers for the project. However how to trust you that you will send the 0.5ETH you do not have any feedback?

Edit: my telegram Cobalt9317 I will vouch for you if I receive any referral work.
55  Other / Meta / Re: Want to act as Bitcointalk police on: May 26, 2018, 08:08:30 PM
There seem to be entire families involved in the bounty thing and networks of "friends" on top of that.  I envision huge rooms full of young people sitting at laptops, shitposting away for probably 8 hours at a clip--and NOT using just one bitcointalk account to do so, but many accounts.  Do I have proof of this?  Not exactly, but there has been some evidence of it based on ban appeals and PMs when they get caught enrolling alts in bounties.  It's a suspicion that's not without reason.

With multiple people and multiple accounts for each person, these turds can make a pretty good living in their countries.  That's why they do it, because it's lucrative and doesn't require them to bust their asses in a factory or whatever.  I certainly can understand why it's being done, but I still condemn the behavior.

I also envision that they have a moderator there like in a call center industry business you have a certain things to say on a customer to attract him/her for choosing their life insurance plan as it was good as being comfort about oneself death. Like hell you're gonna believe that.

And the thing is the moderator job is for checking applicants shitpost not to look like shitpost in general before submitting it basically that how the community industry help each other.

IMHO real life work outdoor is much more interesting than posting a bunch of lousy content that no one can barely apprehend.

57  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't hold your coin on exchange for long time. on: May 26, 2018, 02:55:52 PM
As for me I'd like to make a trading bot account and I think most website is good for holding a minimum amount of crypto just for the sake of trading daily.

We have heard of exchange website being hacked but basically it is really hard to penetrate an exchange only a person who dedicate him/herself from being a black hat hacker could have done something like it.

What is the quote for that? Pyramid does not build in a day. so in reality it will take a long time for a single entity or group could have access to such exchange.
58  Other / Meta / Re: Want to act as Bitcointalk police on: May 26, 2018, 01:03:45 PM
Or you can just report to moderator about the bounty campaign having a multiple account enrolled in that simple reporting you slap the face of that user using a multiple account simultaneously to earn unprofessional money.
Bounty campaigns aren't moderated. Staff will not do anything, therefore it's a waste of yours, and their time reporting it.
I never knew that a bounty campaign isn't moderated by moderator I suppose if somehow someone know that a bounty campaign having a massive alt account enrolled at least it gives bounty manager a hint that his/her campaign is not going as s/he intended/prepared.

The battle between alt account and alt finder is a never ending war and I suppose even if you enforce art of war strategy the quarrel will live for another day like what your phrasing day by day in and out also being an active alt finder is a huge help for the community just make sure to patrol constantly you will find some of them.

P.S. With the help of merit system it is now easy to find if an account is an alt.
60  Economy / Services / Re: Who are the Escrows now worth trusting? on: May 26, 2018, 09:44:00 AM
Before I was offering a free escrow service but after thinking it for about sometime I convinced myself that escrow need to have a "reputation" and a well-known member as long as you check those traits you will not be scammed for choosing an escrow.
