Is there a place that I can go to see all the dividend payouts that have taken place over the past few months all in one place or post?

Try this:
https://blockchain.info/address/1AddiCt8ghkH8zwPpcv8W8SxcQEoGTSJFS?filter=1

Look for all of the ones that contain my payment address: 1NS5Bj6PDKc7P59q9XoJEGiBgeyfXh6q8j

I am not sure what the other "spends" are, possibly payments for hosting etc.

So there is more than double of the original shares issued currently outstanding. Do current shareholder get the first right to buy new shares issued for expansion so that shareholders dont get diluted?   I ask because I am going to make an offer in the order book.
New shares represented new hardware. The hashrate value of all (bitfunder and thus new forum) shares was identical (41.8 GH/s/share). There was no dilution. Shares were issued to those that underwrote the hardware purchase at a rate of 41.8 GH/s per share.

Thanks for clearing that up for me. If I did the math right, this is such a much better deal than cex.io at current share prices.

My dividends come out to just over 10%, would you like to make an offer? 3409 shares.

What are the current outstanding shares for this security?

I think it is around 340,000 give or take.

It's a known problem with XP. You might be able to fix it by changing the serial on them, search the forums for a how-to.

thanks

However, if they do have the bitcoins, I can't see a US court demanding them return the bitcoins, but rather the dollar value

Why not? With bitcoin, people can prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that they own their btc address and paid terrahash via a tx id.

Does anybody have terrahash,s payment address?

You haven't done enough research,

Stop looking at bitcoin as just a currency or even a payment system, even though that is what we are seeing it being used as today, that is not nearly what can be done with it.

Bitcoin is a P2P, Decentralized, Global, Open Source, Proof of Ownership system.

The value that a transaction on the block-chain via colored coins or other mechanism can literally be anything, from stocks, bonds, smart property, a voting system, wills, deeds, proof of invention, a pdf, an mp3, as well as a system to allow for off-chain micro transactions, etc. etc. etc.

tl;dr; bitcoin is so much more then just money or a global payment system, for all of the above and the services that can be layered on top of the bitcoin protocol is why we are seeing the huge upswing in demand and thus price in the past ~30 days.

See the following videos for a tiny glimpse of what bitcoin can become.

the original offer from knc was 6999 usd payable with a credit card.  ROI for BTC is meaningless for the oct knc machines we purchased in june.

the new offer by knc is BTC offer. these are due in april of 2014.  Please do not discuss btc with the machines we purchased as it is a meaningless discussion.  Most of us did use btc to pay Tyrion70 but I simply went to coinbase and purchased 7.5 btc for about 80 usd a coin then used  the btc to buy in.   Since I live in a country that charges taxes in fiat my calculations are based on fiat not BTC.

If anyone thinks the selling half the machines for 25k each and halving all our dividends  would mean we lose they do not have a real concept of investment.  I do agree that selling half the machines may not be the best choice for max profit.  but it absolutely makes a real world fiat profit.  For each and every one of us.   It make us all guaranteed winners.  Keeping all the machines and hashing does not make us a guaranteed winner.  I happen to be a USA citizen but frankly if I did  live in the UK and used the pound the same would be true.  If I lived in any country that uses the EURO it would be true. If I lived in Japan  or China it would be true.

The down side to selling half the machines at 25k each  say 14 for 350,000 usd.  and we paid 190,000 usd for all the machines does exist.

one) coins to jump to 10000 a coin
two) deal goes bad and we do not get paid.

the upside

one) we get 350,000   we paid 190,000 so  we got 13 machines for free and a 160,000 profit.
two) coins stay stable or drop

Phil,
While I agree with your assumptions, if we sold 13 for 350,000 we would be able to buy about ~340 btc, which would mean that my payout would be about 3.4 btc, @ ~1000 per btc that would almost double my initial investment in fiat but not in bitcoin. The other poster is correct in that had I kept my original 18.95 BTC for this group buy I would be up much more than I am now and it may take the full two years of hashing to ROI on my original investment in BTC, in fiat however I am up as most of us are in a big way, but only if btc remains at current levels or higher.

It's a tough question and we need to remove our emotions from the equation and look at this from a business transaction point of view only.

I think we need to run some numbers on the possibilities going forward.

1) is now the best time to sell the proposed 13 miners, can we get more now for them rather than later, or will we produce more dividends but over a longer period of time? my last dividend was .96 btc, for me selling 13 of the miners for a 3.4btc dividend doesn't sound worth it to me as I expect to receive that much in dividends alone from hashing over the next 5-7 dividend period.

2) what are the probabilities of the price of btc going down over the remaining time that we have with the group buy.

3) what are the projected earnings in dividends over the next year?

I say we keep them going until we hit the sweet spot between selling them and earning dividends.

What is the correct way to reset cgminer to re-detect all attached AMU's when they go sick, dead or zombie?

Currently I have to unplug and re-plug in the power or usb hub to get them to be recognized again, every 6 hours or so.

Info:
Win 7 N Ultimate
39 USB Eruptors on Anker 9+1 powered hubs.
cgminer-nogpu 3.6.4

Should I switch to cgminer 3.8.x?

3409 direct shares for sale, serious offers only.

Edit: my last dividend was 1.07

PM me with your per share price.  Thanks!

60  Economy / Speculation / Re: Warren Buffet to buy Bitcoins on: November 17, 2013, 03:06:52 PM
I don't understand why someone in Buffet's position would outright never buy bitcoins. So what if it's risky? If you put 100.000 USD into it, and Bitcoin just collapses, so what? You probably have more money between your coach cussions. It's not like you'll be on the street, dancing for nickles. On the other hand, if Bitcoin goes mainstream big-time, the upside is astronomical. I don't understand this attitude.
The issue isn't that bitcoins are risky. The issue is that bitcoins are at best an instrument/currency/commodity/tool. Buffet invests in stocks because stocks are shares of companies, and companies do things - build things - constantly produce real value by plying a trade that he can model in his head and see why it constitutes economic over-unity. Whereas, you buy a million BTC and put it in an address, and the value might go up but those bitcoins aren't doing anything. They're just sitting there like a big fried egg.

But he could invest indirectly in bitcoin them by buying up bitcoin companies... Hopefully gox!
That'd certainly be something to see. I'd be surprised if it was Gox, though, given how much hot water they've hopped into lately (losing their ability to send wires, trade engine malfunctions...)

Wrong, Buffet buys companies not stocks, he has said it numerous times, his purchase mechanism happens to be via stock.

He has also said often enough that he wishes he could buy smaller companies, but can't.

Small Investments, High Returns
During a shareholders meeting in 1999, Warren Buffett lamented that he could generate 50% returns if only he had less money to invest. He couldn't compound $100 million or $1 billion, at a 50% rate. That's because it's the smaller, faster growing companies that typically offer the highest returns. Small capitalization stocks, however, can't help Warren Buffett. For example, if Buffett invested in a $240 million market cap company and its value doubled, the impact would increase Berkshire Hathaway's portfolio by just 0.3%. Considering the amount of research involved, it may not be worth his while. Buffett stays away from small cap stocks, despite their potential for high returns because he neither wants to cause a run up in the price of a small cap stock, nor does he want a controlling stake. (Find out why small caps have more potential for growth, read Small Caps Boast Big Advantages.)
