41  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: View my BTC fund using only a private key on: July 01, 2016, 05:23:26 PM
I think it would be much convenient to check your balance if you have the Bitcoin address. Also, is there any reason why you refuse to import the private key to your wallet? :O
42  Other / Meta / Re: Recovering lost accounts? on: June 30, 2016, 03:07:43 PM
Recovering hacked accounts or accounts with lost passwords

Read the thread.
43  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Please Help!!! on: June 30, 2016, 02:50:54 PM
right. also i dont understand why you op did such big btc transaction without knowing about the security and use of wallet ? next time gather full information about how bitcoin and bitcoin wallet works and then start using btc.
I'm not sure if you have read the entire thread or not, because he did mention that he is "fairly new to Bitcoin" in the OP. Also, I'm pretty sure that most of the new Bitcoiner are using Bitcoin with no prior depth of knowledge of Bitcoin. Do you?

OP, if you can't find your old wallet.dat. You pretty much can do nothing to recover your fund.
44  Other / Meta / Re: This forum is so cluttered with spam, impossible to post constructivly on: June 29, 2016, 07:03:09 PM
lol.

there are too many signature campaign spammers posting idiotic threads that have no substance in the OP
Then, why don't you report those "idiotic" threads?

although some people are able to contribute even with a lousy OP.
I don't know why do you even call those people contributing... they are likely an HQ spammer.
I mean, how can someone respond to a lousy OP with a "constructive" post? :O

For me, a useless first post makes it harder to respond to the topic without being accused as spamming yourself.
What is the point in responding to a useless/spam thread in the first place, anyway?

That contributor's post can easily be deleted since it's a reply to spam. It's difficult to be constructive when replying to spam
LOL. That is absurd. What is the point in replying to a spam post anyway?

Do you see my logic?
No.

it seems as though not much can be done.
You could help by reporting instead of whining, though.
45  Other / Meta / Re: signature campaign BITMIXER on: June 28, 2016, 06:51:50 PM
Well, if you think that someone that is wearing a paid signature is spamming. You should report it. If there is too many, compile those spammers altogether and post it in this thread or this thread.

do not you think that BITMIXER signature campaign, it's time to make a warning since a lot of spammers and the company not removes them?
I guess you haven't seen YoBit spammers yet, don't you?
46  Other / Meta / Re: Completely Deleted Thread! on: June 25, 2016, 09:39:12 AM
There was a thread which I had 2 posts in it but after 1 hour seems no where to be found, couldn't find my posts nothing at all.
Well, AFAIK, any posts in the Trashcan aren't viewable in your posts history.

Is this common in this forum?
Threads being deleted/moved to the Trashcan are a usual thing on this forum.

I know when a post gets deleted you receive a PM telling you about it but how come I didn't get anything at all?
If the whole thread was deleted and there are some posts posted by you in the thread, but if you are not the thread starter, you won't be notified.
47  Economy / Services / Re: Need someone to download 12GB FILE and delivery it to me on: June 23, 2016, 05:55:54 PM
hello bro
i'm from algeria too but why u dont try VPS and let it download this file in all the night ?
I'm not an Einstein, but what is the difference? When he download the file on a VPS, doesn't he need to download it "again" to his PC?
48  Other / Meta / Re: Is the forums source code available somewhere? on: June 23, 2016, 05:46:20 PM
But i need to show people the progress of the ANN threads and show them the completed thread before they pay.
Well, did you know what consequences might occur if you show them the actual/completed thread? They will just copy your thread, and you will not be paid aka scam. (Unless the fund has been escrowed.)

I sort of wanted to have an area where clients could leave comments and see the threads progress as it is made. etc. That's why i wanted to do this as well.
Can't you just send a screenshot of the entire thread via PM or email or anything?
Or... I'm not entirely sure, but I think you can create the thread in the Archival board.
49  Economy / Lending / Re: BITCOIN LENDING ( In Malaysia Only ) on: June 23, 2016, 02:28:41 PM
- snip -
I understand that it is your terms, but that is just patently absurd, IMHO. Can you clarify why do loanee only getting 85% of the loan amount?

So, if someone gets a loan of 1 BTC, the loanee are paying 0.85 BTC + 0.1725 BTC + 0.15 BTC + 0.15 BTC for a one month loan duration.
Code:
Loan amount: 1 BTC
Loan duration: 1 month

Interest per month: 15% of [Loan amount+15% of loan amount]

1 BTC(0.85 BTC + 0.15 BTC) = Loan amount
0.1725 BTC = Interest
0.15 BTC = 15% of loan amount(?) <- What is this for?!

Total: 1.3225 BTC
50  Other / Meta / Re: My Account got banned for unknown reasons on: June 23, 2016, 12:17:50 PM
Try PMing hilariousandco or Cyrus asking them to comment on the situation.
Isn't it against the forum rules to send PMs when you are currently banned or is there an exception(such as it is an exception if you send a PM to staff members)?

25. If you get banned (temporary or permanently) and create a new account to continue posting / sending PMs, it's considered ban evasion. The only exception is creating a thread in Meta about your ban.
51  Other / Meta / Re: Is this kind of act a bannable offense? on: June 22, 2016, 02:49:55 PM
Well, the vouch copy were given to him by the seller himself, and the seller is nowhere to state that he is not allowed to sell his vouch copy.
52  Other / Meta / Re: Need Admin Help - Account banned for Unknown reason - Please Unban me on: June 19, 2016, 05:02:02 PM
Alright. Since the situation getting very worst here, I want to Disclose Publicly that I've bought Jak1 account 25th may.
I had no control of this account before 24th may.
Seriously, you have contradicted yourself. Can you recall what you said earlier, in your previous post?

I've just took a point for his post. I've not copied the whole post because my attention was not that.
With that being said, the post was posted by you.

You can see the posts after 24th may. you'll realize the writing style is completely changed..
No changes in the writing style, either.

I don't think I should get punished for something which is not my fault or not I've involved in.
It's a fault of yours for buying a trash account, though. Roll Eyes
53  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen after mining ends? on: June 19, 2016, 02:36:02 PM
Will developers decide to increase the number of bitcoins if this happens?
While the number of bitcoins in existence will never exceed 21 million, the money supply of bitcoins can exceed 21 million due to Fractional-reserve banking.

Source: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Controlled_supply#Money_Supply

Is it in their hands?
Theoretically, yes.
54  Other / Meta / Re: Need Admin Help - Account banned for Unknown reason - Please Unban me on: June 19, 2016, 01:54:45 PM
I've just took a point for his post. I've not copied the whole post because my attention was not that.
But you did plagiarize most of the original post context doe :O
All you did was adding an extra 20 words, effortlessly.

[1]Use gambling as a time for fun, don't try to get rich out of it. Most of the time you loose, and it takes lot's of time, money, bets and effort to skill up.
[2]I don't ever lose more than that what I had set aside for the fun money. [3]Also-know when to quit when you are ahead. [4]Usually depends on the situation, but if I hit a couple lucky runs,I will replace my fun money with profits, so that even if I lose, I still maintain my profit. Grin

Original post:
When you gamble, Make your own rules, and FOLLOW them strictly.

I have a lot of rules when I gamble, I have "fun" money whether it be bitcoin or cash.  [2]I don't ever lose more than that what I had set aside for the fun money.

[3]Also-know when to quit when you are ahead, I don't ever set a goal for how much I want to be up, because if you are so close to that amount, you might never hit it and then be out of money.  [4]Usually depends on the situation, but if I hit a couple lucky runs, I will say, ok, I am going to be up this amount no matter what, and replace my fun money with profits, so that even if I lose, I still maintain my profit.

[1]Use gambling as a time for fun, don't try to get rich out of it.
55  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I am new in Bitcoin, how to provide services? on: June 19, 2016, 01:06:38 PM
I just signed up on Bitcointalk I read some articles about Bitcoin.
But I do not yet understand some things, I create a wallet in xapo and I have a Bitcoin address, but I do not understand how transactions go, it is instantaneous?
You should read all(if you want to be an expert in Bitcoin Tongue) the articles on Bitcoin Wiki, and use the search function(and Google search) as well. Practically, any of your inquiries might already have been answered a myriad times.
Additionally, if you want complete information on how Bitcoin transactions work, then you ought to read the Transaction article.

So if I understand correctly, there are no transaction limits? I can send 1satoshi if I want?
Technically, yes. There are no limits, but, AFAIK, any amount under 5460 satoshis would be recognized as a "dust" transaction.

I would like to know if there are some ways to earn Bitcoins by doing some tasks, that's why I post in this section.
There are various of ways on how one can earn Bitcoin, starting from providing services in the field that you are expert in, to anything else that you can ever imagine.
56  Other / Meta / Re: Post quality? on: June 18, 2016, 01:38:05 PM
But oh well, we have a freedom to do what we want and say what we want in this forum.
No, that's entirely false. You can't just do whatever you want or say anything you want in this forum because there is still a set of rules that has to be followed by everyone.
57  Economy / Services / Re: Top up or recharge mobile phones services. BTC accepted. on: June 15, 2016, 05:58:52 PM
Bro most of us know about bitrefill where we can easily recharge our mobile with bitcoin without paying any fees. Sorry, i am not hijacking thread but why to pay 5% fee for topup if we can do with 0% fee. Cool
I'm pretty confident that Bitrefill has a processing fee included in the total price, same goes for any other mobile recharge websites. You might want to get your facts right before stating a false information.
58  Other / Meta / Re: Happy Birthday, Theymos! on: June 15, 2016, 05:05:38 PM
Happy birthday, theymos! Do not forget to express gratitude to your mom for bringing you into this scary world. Tongue
59  Other / Meta / Re: Am I the only one seeing this? on: June 15, 2016, 04:58:04 PM
It's quite useful. It shows it's a spammy thread, and it's not worth reading. Smiley
Well, that's quite a good point IMO. Because most of the email spams that I received are using this kind of flashy icons/emojis in the email subject lines. Does it actually attracts people's attention, though? :O
60  Other / Meta / Re: For Fucks sake, too many eth topics in altcoin section on: June 11, 2016, 11:14:17 AM
LOL. OP, it looks like you have never visited both of the Bitcoin category and Economy category boards.
There is a considerable amount of Bitcoin topics in both of this category as well. Roll Eyes

Considering that there is only one board for Altcoins discussion, it is very common to see this kind of situation.
