Buy and HODL. With a little dice on the side.  Cool
Well, I very agree to the first one. But, I'm a bit skeptical that the 'side part' will work, though. It is not like it will not work, but, most of the time, people lose a lot when they gamble.
243  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2016, The Year of Bitcoin? on: April 09, 2016, 10:19:47 PM
No matter what will happen, 2016 will be interesting because of the halving. Although i am not sure what kind of impact on the price will happen.
Right now i got a gut feeling the price will stabilize around the 600 mark at the end of this year.

I think we will see that price at the time of halving and by the end of the year we might see the price of $800 or $1k and if it is achieved then we will see many news users into bitcoins.
I hope so too. So, I can have a nice meal with my friends and family on Christmas. But, I highly doubt that the price of the Bitcoin will be $800 by the end of the year, though. Well, Bitcoin is unpredictable, and the possibility is endless with Bitcoin. It could even reach $2k or so. Who knows?
244  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: April 09, 2016, 07:02:43 PM

You are right with this the point is that every gamble bet you are making get you more and more addicted, I think it do not depend on in what is your religion because everyone can try it once some get addicted because its enjoying and at some people not.

Religion is not really important when it comes to gambling anyone will get hooked to the sin that is gambling, but I think there are certain people that can fight the urge in gambling and I think If you are truly are a christian you can't be tempted with this kind of pleasure!
Lol. I have a lot of friends and relatives that is 'truly' a Christian, and most of them gamble occasionally.
It's not how loyal you are to your religion, IMO.

Oh, nice. It's nice to know someone has sold his accounts to the OP. Did you send the account details first or he send the money to you first?

I have an account which I created on 2009 and I no linger use. No friends or whatsoever, no pics or anything.
Then, send a PM to the OP along with a link to your Facebook profile and wait for his reply.
246  Economy / Services / Re: Write about Bitcoin, get paid in Bitcoin. on: April 09, 2016, 05:52:54 PM
I wish you the best of luck in your search, but I do have one serious remark to everyone who wants to run a Bitcoin news site.

If you pay writers measly sums of money - as in, below US$13-15 per article - the quality will be exactly what you pay for. Expect a lot of copy and paste work, which is not even worth US$3 per piece.

Writing content takes a lot of time when doing it right, and that time is worth a lot more than US$3.

Just my two cents, hope you find someone for the job tho Wink

As you have written, price should be US$13-15 per article, can you tell us any site which offer this much amount ?
Articles that cost between $13 to $15 per article is nothing, IMO. There is a lot of websites/blogger that pays you up to $100 and even higher just to write an article.
247  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitfortip | Tip and earn Bitcoins on: April 09, 2016, 05:15:39 PM
When he launched it, he gave some bits to first few users here and IIRC on his website, an address is given by him (in which that could be used only). I tried back in the days but the questions were only few and even though some answered correctly, they never got anything from some users that asked question (AFAIK), since the control is by the one who asks questions and no moderation done to ensure the whole process be fair to those put an actual effort and find the correct answer first.
To be honest, I hope it was possible to delete inappropriate answers. I mean, I asked a question to find me the cheapest store and some user just spam my topic with their website and some even post a faucet rotator link. I left the website without marking a correct answer, lol.
248  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your plan to get rich with Bitcoin? on: April 09, 2016, 05:05:28 PM
A friend of mine earns almost a grand or so dollars on bitcoin. Over the time he has invested in bitcoin he's made a lot of contacts... And he just sits for an hour or two at most per day and earns the above mentioned sum.

Yeah, it require some tricks to earn a large number of bitcoins on Internet from available opportunities, of which I think a lot of people not aware, or they only stick to a specific way of earning and do not proceed with it.

it is not tricks there are a lot of known ways of earning on the internet but it doesn't mean that everybody can earn through them.

for example there is the well known earning through advertising like banner ads on a site with good traffic, there are affiliate marketing and a lot of SEO work with a lot of money.
It is never a trick to earn money online. You just need to be more creative on what you want to do to make money using the Internet. There are various of ways, but people always use the most convenient way.
249  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble? on: April 09, 2016, 04:56:09 PM
I'm usually try small martiangle

Bet with small amount of bits and set the loss limit so you can be confident about your luck today.
If you win a lot , try to set higher bet so your profit will increase exponensially
many people who say that the martingale can only be done for short periods of time? What do you think?
and of course to use the martingale method you should to have a large capital right ? because if you only have a small capital. Of course all of your money could be eaten away by this method

Huge bankroll to use martingale will only work if you have small basebet because as what discussed so many times that all sites has their own max win per bet which may make your martingale always fail.
But would someone use a huge bankroll just for small bet and small profit?
If you have a massive bankroll to gamble with, and you are using martingale strategy, well, it does give you high profit most of the time. Well, if you were incredibly unlucky it means nothing, though.
I guess, yes. Because they have the funds to cover their losses.
250  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: April 09, 2016, 04:50:47 PM
hi

i am getting addicted to gambling. And i am loosing a lot of money.I am loosing what i can't afford to lose.its sad that when you start loosing its just busted me again and again.at last i gamble for fun but now when i am getting addicted i am loosing too much.

Any suggestions are welcome  Smiley

Regards

staying away from bitcoins may look tricky at first look, but it is pretty easy if you're ready for this - just don't think about gambling at all, if you will keep your minds from it, you will stop gambling, so out with friends or go to a gym, do anything that you like and i am sure that you will quit gambling
[1]I don't think I would ever make it if I were asked to leave Bitcoin. Well, I have invested quite a lot in Bitcoin, and I'm not ready to leave Bitcoin at the moment, to be honest. I could quit gambling, but Bitcoin, no. [2]If you want to distract yourself from gambling, you should travel to new places or do some exercise. It works for me every single time.

No, he is not talking about leaving bitcoin, he is talking about staying away from gambling, he has written “staying away from bitcoin” in the first sentence but it is by mistake, if you read the his remaining post you will find that it is written by mistake.
Well, I did reply to his post, though. I have marked [1] and [2].
[1] is the response to his 'mistake' and [2] is about staying away from gambling.

Precisely. I have stumbled across a few new Bitcoin-related news website, and their articles were very poor in quality since they just steal content from another site and rewrite the article to make it look 'new'. Nevertheless, good luck OP.
252  Economy / Services / Re: Selling BTCtalk account (if allowed) on: April 09, 2016, 01:24:17 PM
AFAIK, it is not against the forum rules or the marketplace rules to sell or buy Bitcointalk accounts. Also, I highly doubt that anyone can meet your condition since to change your username you either need to become a VIP by donating 50 BTC or contact theymos with a substantial reason to change your username.
253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling problem on: April 09, 2016, 11:41:08 AM
well its really kinda frustrated when i lose, and in order to recover my loss i bet and lose again. Even i told myself, i will use the leftover to do something better but, the addictive ness is just too strong. Im betting on dota 2 matches, somehow when i don't bet, the team win and i feel, i should bet it and the next day, i will continue my bet journey Tongue
You should have done some research before choosing and placing a bet on your team. That is why most of the gambler that gambled on sports sometimes lose because they are just too lazy to do some research and end up choosing the favorite.
254  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this what we called "addictive to gamble"? on: April 09, 2016, 11:27:50 AM
we know that most of the times we lost on gambling, but instead of stopping we keep on playing for the next day

after we lost, we got frustrated but we still back to play, is this called "gamble addiction"?
No. It is not a gambling addiction, in my opinion. You already know that you are going to lose in casino most of the time, but you still kept on going to the casino to lose more money to the house. It is your choice, not an addiction IMO.
255  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Biggest bitcoin ponzi ever (?) shuts down. Farewell to MMM on: April 09, 2016, 04:51:30 AM
Oh my my friend is putting big btc their and it is stuck and he cannot get his capital in MMM feel so sorry for him. I think MMM  is collapsed due to few of investors giving ph and i think their past investors is running and do not comeback to provide help for others.

Big mistake for him. That's what happen when you put too much trust on a ponzi scheme. It's not about the investors, if the owner already plan to steal the money you can't do anything. Why would you trust people that you don't know?? I can't believe there are still many of you people believe on ponzi schemes.

lol people know its a ponzi right from the outset. there is no such think as a trustable ponzi scheme. the only issue is that people stupidly put funds in thinking they are the early birds who are able to get out before the late arrivals try.

even before trying to find out who owns the ponzi the investors should have realised it was a ponzi and fully understood what a ponzi is, and then avoid it
Well, most of the time, people who 'invest' in a Ponzi always said, "as long as they still pay, why not take the risk/chance?". Then, they cry over spilled milk when the Ponzi shutdown or after they ran away with 'investor' funds.
256  Other / Off-topic / Re: Any safe way to grow my bitcoins ? on: April 09, 2016, 02:35:12 AM
Well, the most popular way to get more bitcoins is through trading, but it is well known that this is a difficult option where some skills and experience is required, and majority of aspiring traders can't get their expected profits. so I think you should hard work in real life in order to purchase some bitcoins at a good price.
Well, most of the time, I always saw people said participating in a signature campaign is the best way to earn some Bitcoin, and it is free too. So, I guess, joining a signature campaign is the most popular way to make Bitcoin. IMO, the safest way is to purchase Bitcoin with your salary, though.
257  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is dead again. This time for sure. on: April 08, 2016, 07:39:56 PM
Large groups of well paid, organized, funded professionals with clear objectives and good management - (like R3, hyperledger, ethereum, others) are sure making those Core programmers look like the silly little whiny bitches that they are.  Core is going NOWHERE and getting there pretty damn fast.  Meanwhile, very sophisticated advance is being done every day in other part of crypto/blockchain.

This is 100% the end of bitcoin as we know it.  Good thing too.  This 'open source', 'no leadership', 'no organization' thing was always a load of bullshit.
Apparently, this has been mentioned too many times, yet there are no signs that Bitcoin will be dead 'for sure'. Bitcoin is still here as far as everyone can tell.
258  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling problem on: April 08, 2016, 07:27:03 PM
Gambling has the biggest problem of slow poison injection of Addiction , otherwise nothing wrong in gambling.

Like all other fun games and fun things. If you watch zeitgeist last part you will hear that addiction doesn't exist. In movie you will see very nice explanation why.
Even poison is good in small doses, cure for many things. Drugs can help you with moods. Gambling can make you rich and happy. But all that have side effects if you use it too much.
Now we can discus about what is too much? That is individual, like drinking. Someone get drunk from one bear, for someone trunk is not enough.
At least I see it like that, maybe I'm wrong.
LOL. It seems like you have watched too many movies. No offense, but, TBH, getting an explanation or advice from movies is very silly. There is no such thing as too much or too less. How they define 'too much' or 'too less' is varies per person. For me, addiction is not a disorder because it is your choice. Because it is you, yourself, that told your brain to decide to be addicted on that particular thing.
259  Other / Off-topic / Re: Any safe way to grow my bitcoins ? on: April 08, 2016, 07:04:26 PM
the only way to grow your bitcoin with safe way is invest it on trusted site and loan it on trusted people with good interest. nothing else.
just earn bitcoin as much as you can,and invest it,wait for bitcoin halving.

As said lending and investing on the right sites is the safest method to grow your bitcoin. And other methods were risky but if you have good knowledge in trading give a try.
Lending, investing, and trading is a risky game, in my opinion. When you lent your Bitcoin to someone, there is no guarantee that the loanee will pay you back even though he has given you collaterals. Same goes for investing. Trading is a bit safe than the other two, well, if you are experienced in trading. I guess the safest way to grow your Bitcoin is to offer services to the community and accept Bitcoin as a payment method.
260  Economy / Services / Re: I need someone to code this for me on: April 08, 2016, 06:56:23 PM
Interesting project, IMO.

Do you mind explaining it a bit more ? The images are quite random,I can probably draw 50 scenarios with those ideas. You're trying to charge bitcoins per sms ? Low bitcoins per call ? Doubt even if that's feasible .
The picture is pretty straightforward, to be honest. But one part that I cannot understand is the 'Bitcoin + Locked = Unlocked' part. Does user need to pay to unlock their phone? I hope you can translate the pictures into words so everyone can understand you.
