41  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What Will You Do If You Are Trap On A SHIT Coin ? Or Low Volume Coin on: October 31, 2017, 05:23:32 PM
It really depends on your expectation for the coin, if you think it will come good in the long term then of course hold it, if you think it will never improve then get rid of it and try again.

Yes, Is the project behind the coin a good project? Is the team communicating and answering to people arguing about the price? If so, hold: everything in crypto is cyclic and we hopefully will see a new ALT season soon.
If the project is a scam, I would try to exit and limit losses.

42  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investment strategy. Help on: October 31, 2017, 05:18:38 PM
Maybe splitting your money in three parts:
- 1/3 in BTC
- 1/3 in ALTs
- 1/3 in USD to eventually increase BTCs or ALTs in case of major drops.

Alternatively, you could use the last 1/3 to trade short-term.
43  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you keep track of your investments including entry, exit and ROI? on: October 31, 2017, 05:12:44 PM
I would also suggest Cryptonator app https://www.cryptonator.com/
It is quite useful as it allows you to insert the amount of BTC, ETH, ALTs you own and periodically compute the value of your holdings.
To me, it is the easiest way to quickly see how much I am earning with respect to the initial investment.
44  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Besides crypto, what would be the safest way to hold your money? on: October 31, 2017, 04:52:07 PM
Real estate, no doubt. I'm currently looking into it and have invested on a 350 sqm lot at a strategic place near the metros. A lot of land developers are drooling at these strategic places and would pay you a ton of money just for these lands. It isn't difficult to maintain too, plus the fact that over time, the lot becomes more and more expensive as the need for housing spaces and commercial establishments arise. Crypto is good for storing in 5-10 years, but if you want a longer time frame than that, try investing in real estate.

Similarly to dothebeats, when I will become rich, I will invest:
- 1/3 in crypto (to continue having fun in trading)
- 1/3 in real estate
- 1/3 in bank funds and bonds

This way, if something happens to one of the three markets above, I could survive
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SANTIMENT / Crypto-Market Intelligence Platform + Bloomberg Style Terminal on: October 30, 2017, 06:41:38 AM
Hi guys, I saw you will be global sponsors at Devcon3 https://ethereumfoundation.org/devcon3/!
Will you make a presentation of your project? Will this affect SAN price?

46  Local / Trading, analisi e speculazione / Re: va giu su tutto quello che compro on: October 29, 2017, 09:30:43 PM

Quoto in pieno!
47  Local / Trading, analisi e speculazione / Re: Perché crolla tutto?? Gpu gold? Cina? Altro?? on: October 29, 2017, 09:29:03 PM
48  Local / Trading, analisi e speculazione / Re: Poloniex e la mia (Positiva) esperienza on: October 29, 2017, 09:26:39 PM
49  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to attract members to Telegram? on: October 29, 2017, 09:20:45 PM
The best way is to have an airdrop. But, from my point of view, once you attract them, you should manage the telegram channel, in order to avoid users to silence it. That means monitoring for scammers, etc. You could created a just announcements channel, which you could use to send (few) valuable information
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which ICOs you suggest for November on: October 29, 2017, 09:16:17 PM
I would suggest the following two ICOs:
- dmarket https://dmarket.io/, a blockchain-based marketplace for game virtual objects
- robomed https://robomed.io/ a smart contract-based solution for healthcare

I saw the presentations of both projects and the team and idea seem good!
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy altcoins or not? on: October 29, 2017, 09:12:32 PM
IMO this is the time to invest into ALTs. They are quite cheap, and, if they will behave like the previous year, they could probably rise at the beginning of next year, or during spring.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Create ICO standards! on: October 29, 2017, 09:10:00 PM
That's a good point of view! I agree with you, ICOs should be regulated. They should undergo a validation process by an auditor, and smart contracts developed should be checked by some external evaluators.
53  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The downsides of bitcoin on: October 29, 2017, 09:04:16 PM
Apart from volatility, a downside of Bitcoin is the amount of electricity wasted for mining, and the time required for validating a transaction. Another non technical issue is the lack of regulation from different Countries.
54  Economy / Speculation / Re: Almost 6k? on: October 29, 2017, 07:29:26 PM
Yes, I believe that before June 2018 we will reach 10000.
More and more people are discovering Bitcoin and more and more will buy it in the next months  Grin
55  Local / Italiano (Italian) / Re: Sito per segnalazioni di Airdrop on: October 18, 2017, 12:13:26 PM
partecipate a tutti indiscriminatamente o li scegliete in base a qualche criterio?

56  Local / Italiano (Italian) / Re: Corsi trading on: October 18, 2017, 10:45:55 AM

57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: ETH not showing in my wallet on: October 18, 2017, 10:32:17 AM
My blockchain.info wallet shows that I received 225 ETH on 16 October 2017. Until today 18 October 2017 my ETH balance is zero. Can someone explain me please what is happening?

If you don't have any outgoing transaction, ETH should still be in your wallet.
As TheCoinFinder suggested you, have you checked on etherscan.io the transaction?

If the transaction still is not confirmed, you could eventually "delete" it by making another transaction with the same "nonce" with a higher gas. As two transactions with the same nonce cannot coexist, the first transaction will be dismissed.

Let us know
58  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Talk to me about cold storage please on: October 17, 2017, 09:25:06 PM
Hi, I will try to answer to some of your questions.
First of all, the adoption depends on your needs: some people are ok with paper wallets, others prefer more "solid" solutions such as Trezor or Ledger.
The advantage of the latters, is that you have an additional password to protect access to your data, and you can backup your wallet by using the mnemonic phrase. I am not aware whether you could use the mnemonic phrase to backup from one brand to another.

Maybe some more skilled users can answer to your more technical questions.

I think you could also be interested in this article, which is about security and different wallets https://medium.com/santiment/the-crypto-traders-guide-to-online-security-8eeffa6839ed

59  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Parents disagree with MMO – Make Money Online and Bitcoin ? on: October 17, 2017, 09:17:03 PM
As far as you are able to manage your money and put in Bitcoin only the money you could afford to lose, I don't see any problem!
Have you shown to your parents that you are able to make money, buying BTC?
When you will earn a lot of money, they will start supporting you, and you will be mentioned as an example when they talk with their friends!
60  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Exchange Market on: October 17, 2017, 09:10:11 PM
I would add to the list Kraken and Bitfinex. They have less currencies, but seem solid.
Furthermore, they give you the possibility to convert also EUR and USD, respectively.
