41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Keep3r token going to be the next YFI? on: October 31, 2020, 01:43:48 PM
Personally i am not a fan of short term trends and hype and recent pump and dump type of market we saw for defi projects has really discouraged me. I am hopeful in a year or two good defi projects will surface only then i will jump in so let the dust settle for now.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should we red tag and create a flag for ICO bounty managers that do not escrow on: October 31, 2020, 10:02:01 AM
This is for bounty managers who are working on projects who are launching ICO and IEO why not giving them red tag for not doing escrow and make this a must for bounty managers, we have seen so many complaints about project that's been locking, delaying and not distributing the bounty, even if you are not a DT you can create a tag or a flag and let the community support, it's time that something like this happen to protect the community of bounty hunters.
I think its time to run bounty campaigns professionally, either the forum team or another platform should register bounty managers as well as the project team and then the team should send the campaign reward tokens to the trusted escrow team. Who after campaign end should either distribute reward tokens directly or transfer them to bounty manager for distribution. Without a proper system bounties will continue to disappoint.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin do you think will become next Ethereum? on: October 30, 2020, 08:12:07 PM
Which coin do you think will become next Ethereum?

Which coin do you think will become next Ethereum? by comparing all the factors including the community support, trading volume, use in daily life or business or anything which matters to make any coin on top of all the coins?
There are many projects in the market that are like a shadow of ethereum network like tron, neo, xlm, eos, ada etc but the fact remains that no one has been able to really compete with ethereum network which is like the king of the ring in this sector at the moment. In future i think polka dot, if does everything right and up to the mark, has potential to create significant competition for eth.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't get scammed with shitcoin investing _ step guide! on: October 30, 2020, 07:35:15 PM
Unfortunately, many scammers have took advantage of the defi hype and the result is the guide that you have posted and i will really appreciate you for this because most of the scammers have used these methods to raise funds for their fake or scam projects using defi hype and uniswap platform promising of high APRs which most people fell for vut unfortunately these greedy people rug pulled after raising funds it is similar to old style exit scam.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Even huawei refused to be left out on: October 30, 2020, 07:00:25 PM
Huawei is among the top 3 global smartphone companies now. Being from China it has been criticized and rediculed as well in history but it has grown more and more with time especially producing good quality budget smartphones.
As a forward looking tech company i expect even more from huawei than just adding a wallet. I hope huawei will add more pro crypto products and features in new models that can help in crypto adoption.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC trading pair or USDT trading pair? on: October 30, 2020, 06:32:08 PM
Which trading pair you want to choose. Suppose you want to trade a common coins which is listed in both pair. Then which pair you will choose?

If i compare in binance BTC/ETH and USDT/ETH markets, Then i can see volume is BTC market almost 241,924 ETH.

In USDT market almost 803,810 ETH.

As an active trader we go for more volume which is clearly more for usdt pairs.
Secondly it is easier to keep track of profit and loss because usdt gives equivalent to fiat value.
It is also easier to buy sell and exchange usdt both online and face to face offline because of stable value. Due to all these advantages usdt pair is much more prefered nowadays than the btc pairs.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can i Link Crypto to Construction Business on: October 30, 2020, 05:42:31 PM
If you are just looking to raise funds in the name of your construction business then there is no need to launch your project and token as most probably it will fail. I do have real estate business as well but i know im not doing something innovative to raise funds or launch a project based on it. So you need to come up with unique and innovative idea to launch your project.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Questions for our dear project promoters on: October 28, 2020, 02:28:41 PM
For all promoters which one would you prefer?

1. Project promoters (bounty hunters) should start fighting for themselves, if some projects become successful and still plan to ignore or refuse to pay bounty hunters they should take the fight and spread how untrust able the project can be over the internet.

2. Promoters should face the bounty manager and make him or her strife for promoters rewards

3. Promoters should stop promoting bounty projects that doesn't implement escrow payment
I totally support all your points because even now in strict regulations and rules still what we are seeing is that the projects and campaigns that are following the rules, ignore them when it comes to distribute the reward tokens, this attitude must be discouraged and because of this even today most of the campaigns are not paying the earned tokens. Bounty hunters must team up and form a strategy against such projects.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: AUDIO massive pump after surprise Binance support on: October 27, 2020, 06:26:17 PM
It seems like Binance is taking advantage of its position and its infrastructure by entering a project with special cheap price and then announcing that this project is supported by binance and will list at binance exchange and within no time price surges 100 to 1000x where allegedly binance takes profit. I am not against business but it should be fair so i think a platform like binance should not indulge in anything that can give it a sense of pump and dump.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Game lover ? Have you invested for a gaming project ?? on: October 27, 2020, 05:41:43 PM
It is a great match, I am talking about blockchain tech, tokens and gaming, nearly perfect combination but my experience has not been that great i invested in similar projects 2-3 years ago out of which i sold one for breakeven while one is gone and i was not able to sell. So wait and let the project and team prove themselve before investing.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PayPal might issue its own cryptocurrency soon, says CoinShares exec on: October 27, 2020, 04:06:55 PM
Global digital payment giant PayPal might be moving into issuing its own cryptocurrency after officially entering the crypto industry, according to a major industry exec.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/paypal-might-issue-its-own-cryptocurrency-soon-says-coinshares-exec
I am not sure why a paypal coin is need or what will be the purpose of such a coin other than paypal extracting big funds by selling their own coin. This may be the plan, I hope it will suite the paypal's payment ecosystem and also bring profits to investors.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins that go up and down fast? (I'm a noob) on: October 26, 2020, 08:07:08 PM
Hey guys, I hope that you are having an amazing day. I made a post about trading and after a bit of research I think that I'll go with altcoins. I was wondering if you know some altcoins that tend to go up and down fast. I have seen FOXT for example, but there's not a market for that. Also, if they can be in known exchanges like Binance it'll be way better.

Thank you so much in advance!
From your post i am assuming that you are looking for high volatility coins with high volume to trade actively based on price action and make profit.
Well it is not a hard thing, just create account at top exchanges by volume and start by trading btcusdt or ethusdt pairs because these two have the highest volume and are the best for active trading.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Was 2017 the "Golden Year of Crypto"? on: October 26, 2020, 07:08:30 PM

Do you think that 2017 was the "Golden Year of Crypto"? Or is the best is yet to come? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Smiley
2017 was a fascinating year for bitcoin and overall crypto market as well. The growth we saw in 2017-18 was not seen anywhere else in anyother market ever.
So 2017 will be rememberd as a great year for sure as many eyes turned to crypto because of the gains back then. But remembering that excitement we can be hopeful of better bulls this time again as well.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: My opinion on Airdrop or Bounty hunters who dump token after the campaign on: October 26, 2020, 06:25:23 PM
I've seen some projects who changed contract address and did a complicated token swap after thier airdrop or Bounty. So, anyone who is holding this coins will be left with a useless version of it. And most of them don't know because they are already following other projects as a bounty hunter.
An Example of these kind of projects is tratok who did token swap more than once. And left many holders hoping on useless tokens.

So many hunters who believed in these kinds of projects will always say some sort of bad words to people who sell their token.
But Wait Please.
Are they hunting bounty to hold or live with the payment?
As for me, I can only do a bounty to use some of my payments and not to hold all.

Although some might prefer to invest thier time instead of money to get some tokens to hold but no one need to blame the ones who dumped. Although, dumpers can make price fall more than expectation. But no ones knows anyone current condition or situation.

This is the way I understand this kind of situation.
Any dumper needs money.. Thats it.
Or what do you think?
Absolutely, reward tokens are earned by the hunters so these are there tokens and they are free to do whatever they want to do with their tokens.
The key is that hunters should only promote high quality projects that they will be happy to hold and even if they want to sell the price does not dump because of high volume.
55  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC can reach $ 20000 after PayPal, Venmo accept payments in BTC, ETH? on: October 25, 2020, 05:17:40 PM
Following PayPal information, Venmo allows payment of its services in BTC, ETH and a few other tokens, the price of BTC has increased sharply, sometimes surpassing $ 13,000 and is still holding at $ 12900. But why is the market reacting so positively?  BTC can reach $ 20000 after PayPal, Venmo accept payments in BTC, ETH?
Technically and fundamemtally bitcoin seems ready to break the 20k mark and as it is the previous high mark i think once btc breaks this price level it will be the start of new bull cycle, i am hopeful that next bull phase will be bigger than ever as it is coming with additional positivity of adoption and compliance.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Defi project like game pump and dump on: October 25, 2020, 02:35:08 PM
What do you think of defi projects, most of them are only good for the short term.To make a big profit, we must enter at the right moment, if we are wrong we will lose very deeply.
That is why the wise still believe that never fomo in new projects, even if the projects are real and legit with good use cases, you will still get a chance to buy at better price later after it list and trade on exchanges.
Defi projects grew too much too early and now as the hype is over the top defi projects will grow organically and it will take time.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple considering moving to UK on: October 25, 2020, 01:48:12 PM
Brad Garlinghouse of that he visited UK last month because he has plans to move their as US is really making it hard for them to exist on their backyard.

Quote
“What you see in the U.K. is a clear taxonomy, and the U.K.’s FCA took a leadership role in characterizing how we should think about these different assets and their use cases,” Garlinghouse said.

“The outcome of that was clarity that XRP is not a security and is used as a currency. With that clarity, it would be advantageous for Ripple to operate in the U.K.”

https://www.cnbc.com/2020/10/23/crypto-firm-ripple-considers-relocating-to-london-over-us-regulation.html

I don't think that it will make any difference though for Ripple investors, but it will be better if they can find home outside of the US if they think that they are somewhat being harassed and it's hard for them to continue their businesses there.
If staying in the US hinders in their innovation and expansion and moving to UK will change that then they should move to UK, they have to make sure that they should come up with better products, services and extend them to the world to really capitalize the re-location.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This will make any positive impact in crypto space? on: October 24, 2020, 08:05:17 PM
Elvira Nabiullina, head of Russia's central bank, today said that a pilot version of a digital ruble could be ready by 2021. A Russian CBDC would “make payments faster, simpler and safer,” the country’s central bank also said in a report. Here is the source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J2mmajgIYPA

We have to wait and see what are the rules and regulations around these CBDCs. I am especially keen to see the limitations on all these official coins because i know these will be fully centralized and controlled coins.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Think before joining any campaign on: October 24, 2020, 06:56:04 PM
I came across AZBI network bounty few days back and I bookmark the page so I can join later and that will be my first bounty on this forum but I noticed a lie about the project, below is the link to the project

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5243303.0

It's said they are listed on the bounty thread but after going to the exchange where thy claimed to have listed (UNISWAP) I can't find any token called AZBI on the exchange platform, even the second listed exchange called Bamboorelay has no single volume at all.

To me this is a very poor bounty project, they used uniswap name to deceive those who are too quick or haste to make money, there is no demand for this token, it's a dead end, I'm glad I spend my time doing few digs if not I would have joined the campaign.

A good lesson learnt here
Azbi network definitely had red flags that were shared by many members of the forum.
The biggest being the fake CEO and team which was also revealed in time.
The overall bounty situation is sadly still not very encouraging as their are not many campaigns worth participating at the moment, only a few good looking campaigns are there that too cannot be guaranteed.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Which instant crypto exchange is the safest? on: October 24, 2020, 05:55:51 PM

A serious question pops up for those of us who have already become cryptocurrency adopters – how to exchange one coin to another rapidly, conveniently, and, most importantly, securely? Cryptocurrency exchange safety is something that gets questioned quite often. When it comes to large custodial platforms, hacks occur, the funds can be managed without the owner’s permission, the service can, after all, just close down and take the user’s funds down with it.

https://swapzone.io/learn/safest-crypto-exchange/
So the answer is that if you are afraid of or do not feel secure at custodial centralized exchanges then you can move to decentralized exchanges that are non-custodial and you can trade by just connecting your wallet.
But the problem is that we do not have a decent cross-chain and highly complian decentralized exchange yet but i am hopeful we will see such exchanges from next year because work on a lot of such exchanges is going on.
