Is there a wallet console command to show coin age? I should start minting today or tomorrow since I started mining on Feb 13th and have not transferred any amount of mint, no lock or encryption either and my wallet as only shut down to upgrade.

That's five. Spread the wealth when you can guys. There is so much greed in these cryptos atm, it makes me sick. If we build a strong community, profits will come in time. Let's focus on the coin, and to the future. Let the weak hands and short sighted toil, while as a community we push....forward. Indeed!

Add Mint.
MintCoin is an innovative, secure and energy efficient PoW/PoS coin. It uses a faster PoW distribution mechanism to distribute the initial coins, then after 5 weeks the coin is basically transferred to a pure PoS coin, where the generation of the coin is mainly through the PoS interests.
MintCoin also adopt a variable PoS rate, which gives the highest payout at 20% the first year, then decrease 5% per year until the 4th year it reaches annual interest rate of 5%, then it will remain at this rate.
Because after 5 weeks it is basically a pure PoS coin, it does not need to be intensively mined, as the PoW payout will remain the minimum. Most coins will be generated through PoS, thus it is a coin that will save a lot of energy compared to other coins.
MintCoin will have a total of 70 billion coins. Initially each block will deliver 100000 to 900000 coins randomly. The PoW payout will be halved each week (7 days). After 5 weeks, the PoW payout will be fixed at 1 coin per block.
PoS will start after at least 20 days of holding of the coins in the wallet. With PoS, the coin is more resilient to 51% attack.

Ok, but this 2 pools don't found a block from a long time. I honestly don't know about that. I know that my payouts are in the 200 - 400 Mintcoin range with ~3,000 Mhash/s and the time between payouts is on average 10 - 20 minutes. So I'm seeing about 4 payouts per hour at 300 Mintcoins = about 30,000 Mintcoins per day at today's payout and difficulty combination (give or take based on luck). Good pool, stay away from hashrapids pools, trust me as there is a good reason to not mine them. http://mnt.coins4everyone.com/index.php?page=statistics&action=pool

Hi,
I have a question about the PoS minting. It was supposed to start after 20 days. The FAQ states that: Any "moved" coins the pos time (coin-day) will be reset for them. It will not affect other "unmoved" coins in the wallet.
I have a total of 6 transactions in my wallet
Received 12000 at 10 Feb Received 2830000 at 10 Feb
Total coins in wallet: 2842000
Sent 2000 at 24 Feb Sent 2000000 at 24 Feb
Total coins in wallet: 840000
Received 2000 at 26 Feb Received 1500000 at 26 Feb
Total coins in wallet: 2342000
So 840000 coins were never moved at all and have been sitting in my wallet since 10 Feb (21 days) but I yet to start minting new coins. The wallet is unlocked and synced with the network. Did I f**k up by sending the 2002000 coins out of my wallet? The FAQ clearly says that the coins that were not moved do not reset the age. I will really appreciate any tips on how to fix it.
Give it more time.

i abandoned ship @ 53.
didnt do that if i had no reason to.
People do not need trading, warnings or crypto coin advice? Especially from low stat forum members who just found out what a Crypto currency was a month ago. might be longer involved with crypto cur then you. I have been around way back in the days of BTC= .10 cents USD.

WTF? The guy at the computer store who sold me a miner said the coins would just start dropping out of the DVD/ ROM player.
I once got a used CD-ROM in a box of parts for a buck and found around $4 of loose change inside it. Cool! Nice score.

These troll comments are verging on spam now. Perhaps a self moderated topic is needed.
Crypto Trolls help make pages and fair in some entertainment value. Also as many comment that are made in this thread they would need to appoint a MOD as the Devs have no time to MOD a secondary forum topic considering Mint has it's own forum.

New rule: Tell anyone you sold you go on the troll list. This thread doesn't tolerate non-investors, and is extremely hostile to the public. Then they wonder why MINT is crashing and the only retort they can repeat over and over like a broken hal9000 is "cheap coins! NOMOMOMOM" and "weak hands see u lolzerz"
Just looking at your forum stats shows you have no idea what is really going on.
