401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance was hacked=> Everyone should be wary of your wallet and trade on Binance on: May 08, 2019, 06:54:27 PM
Just checked and my Tether wasnīt affected  Grin Nobody wants Tether  Grin
Only Justin Sun wants to spam Binance with 40 million USDT  Grin.
402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitfinex launched a $ 1 billion whitepaper, which will support the release of IE on: May 08, 2019, 06:48:22 PM
Could someone shortly introduce the purpose of Bitfinex Token?
And they want to reach 1 billion USD from the investors? Why would they need such big cap? To cover losses that were made by Bitfinex?  Grin
403  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which wallet to use? on: May 08, 2019, 06:41:34 PM
You need only one feature from the wallet, the wallet needs to be secure. That is everything. Why would you need thousands of functions when you loose your money as soon as some hacker will decide to rob you?
404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: REALLY WORKING CRYPTOPROJECTS (not from top 50) on: May 06, 2019, 10:48:44 AM
What are the criterias how you choose the working project?
On your website: workingcryptos.com you list only few cryptoprojects and it is not good. Because when people find them they will start thinking about selling their low cap coins because probably they are not active?  Roll Eyes
405  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: the end of crypto? on: May 06, 2019, 10:37:39 AM
Haha, 700 000USD in cryptocurrencies and you canīt manage them to prevent losses? Then you probably do not suffer such amount of money. It is like gambling.
You didnīt follow any recommendation from expert until now, so what solution are you finding now?
406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Selling tokens/low market cap coins for Bitcoin? on: May 06, 2019, 10:32:45 AM
True, selling / exchanging altcoins into Bitcoin means that you stopped believing in altcoins and you would like to hold Bitcoin only.
While trading means speculating among all cryptocurrencies, you do not matter what you hold in your wallet currently.  Cool
407  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Binance: $BNB The Future of Exchanges. on: May 05, 2019, 11:40:32 AM
I have hard that Binance is preparing to launch margin trading, but nobody knows when it will be announced.
But if this becomes a reality, there will not be any reason to use any other crypto exchange.
Binance will cover CEX, DEX, fiat deposits and margin trading features.  Shocked
408  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best Ripple (XRP) price predictions for 2020 on: May 05, 2019, 11:30:48 AM
Best price predictions? Really?
These predictions doesnīt make any sense, the numbers are totally diffrent, seems like these numbers come from some random number generator  Grin.
409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Selling tokens/low market cap coins for Bitcoin? on: May 05, 2019, 11:23:24 AM
in my experience you shouldn't hold any of the altcoins under any circumstances because the best case scenario for an altcoin in the long run is that it rises but the rise is not going to ever be as big as bitcoin rise in the long run so in that "best case scenario" you lot a lot of opportunities.

but in 90% of the altcoins you won't get that best case scenario. instead you will get the worst case scenario which is that altcoin loses value and continues going down so every day that you hold it you will lose more and more money.

altcoins are only best for short term trading during their pumps.
I also see many altcoins as highly speculative assets that their future is unpredictable and more and more people stopped believing in altcoins - you can see it now, Bitcoin is raising its dominance.
410  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HOW TO KNOW THE IDENTITY OF ALL ICO SCAMMERS on: May 04, 2019, 09:34:21 AM
First of all they have to prove their identities for example on ICOBench where you can see ID report from the team.
Secondly they shouldnīt have big soft cap, they should manage their project without big investments needed. Less money raised in ICO, bigger market cap after ICO means higher returns.
411  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Selling tokens/low market cap coins for Bitcoin? on: May 04, 2019, 09:21:24 AM
But how would you predict the future value? It is even hard to say about some small cap coin that has a progress - I simply do not see it, Bitcoin could be used by masses, these small utility tokens probably not.  Roll Eyes
412  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the IEO cheating / Should I invest in IEO? on: May 03, 2019, 02:32:35 PM
If exchanges are cheating you will never recognize it. Because IEOs are held by CEXs and you can't trust them everything due to not 100% transparence.
Lets fight for DEXs and RICO!
413  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Selling tokens/low market cap coins for Bitcoin? on: May 03, 2019, 02:27:04 PM
Hello,
didn't you ask yourself if it is not better to sell all of your low market cappitalization coins (mostly earned in bounty campaigns) and buy more Bitcoins?
Because I do not see any price progress in these altcoins,  like in 2017 bull market when all of these tokens were highly valuable and could make 1000% anytime.
Now most of them seems like dead. And I am asking myself: Now, it is the best time to sell them all and get atleast some Bitcoins?
Imagine that you sell all of your tokens for 1000$ and buy Bitcoin that costs now 5000$.
Imagine that you didn't sell and all of your tokens will still have same value, but Bitcoin will reach new ATH price.

414  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: the Veil Project Mining- Privacy without Compromise on: May 03, 2019, 02:21:28 PM
Why don't you shill your coin in official thread instead shitposting here in mining section? And all that for less than 150$ a month, in case you don't know here is the official thread
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5065331.0
As you can see we are discussing here mainly about mining and staking, so there is a sense to post about this topic here in mining section.
Secondly, many of Veil promoters believe in this project which is pretty cool, so they do not see 150USD per month but a opportunity for much bigger profit.  Wink
415  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: I Turned My Rigs Off... on: May 02, 2019, 11:10:41 AM
Do not make your decision too quickly. Experts say that this time is the best time to start with crypto mining because mining HWs are very cheap now.
416  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Jaguar testing IOTA rewards for drivers on: May 02, 2019, 11:07:07 AM
I thought that first car factory which will introduce that would be Musk' s Tesla.
Because AI driving cars with implemented blockchain technology (Tangle) would be really great and probably extend the possible usecases.
417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: the Veil Project Mining- Privacy without Compromise on: May 02, 2019, 11:03:48 AM

Please, how it is really work? It is hybrid consensus POSW right? And also there are masternodes? Because you said that you need 10k VEILS to start staking. Or there are no masternodes - only requirement for staking is 10 000 VEILS?  Shocked

No masternode. And 10k coins is not a requirement for POS, it's just a recommendation to find blocks more often. You can start and with 100 coins, only the block will have to wait a month or longer.
Thank you very much for the answer, I was confused by posts here, finally I understand it.
It seems like a good ROI, but remember that bigger ROIs could mean bigger dumps because people most likely will selling their profits.  Sad
418  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: the Veil Project Mining- Privacy without Compromise on: April 29, 2019, 05:22:12 PM
I have been thinking about switching to a different miner. Right now using suprminer.

While mining is it possible that two different miner software can give us two different results? I mean is it possible that one miner will give us slower speed compared to another?

Instead of mining can we stake the coin in their wallet will it help us to make some decent profit or not? What was the percentage they allocated to the people who are holding the coins in the wallets?

Yes, you can definitely stake VEIL and make a decent profit but you will need to start with over 10k VEILs (even more now) in order to get a stake daily. I am still staking around 3k VEIL but now I am getting a reward every 5-7 days

Oh, 10k Veil means really very huge amount because the price of Veil has increased to 0.3$ nearly and in order to stake 10k means nearly it will cost us 3000$, so on a weekly basis how much money you are going to make in the coming days?

You can start staking with 1k VEIL but the only problem is you won't get your rewards that frequently. In order to get rewards every day, you must increase your holding to at least 10-12k. Each stake gives us 50 VEILs.

With the current price of $0.32 and you need 10000 veils to stake that's $3200, good for whales who trust this coin that will give them a good profit, I'm looking forward to mining this coin and get my shares from bounty hunting so I can stake this coin, so what do you think the potential price of this coin in the future?

Please, how it is really work? It is hybrid consensus POSW right? And also there are masternodes? Because you said that you need 10k VEILS to start staking. Or there are no masternodes - only requirement for staking is 10 000 VEILS?  Shocked
419  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't give up yet on: April 29, 2019, 05:17:53 PM
I would like to see people who sold at 3000$ level, after 2 months Bitcoin almost touched 6000$ level. So what are you all complaining? Where you will get 100% profit per 2 months?  Cheesy
420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Passive income from cryptocurrencies in 2019 on: April 29, 2019, 05:09:40 PM
Invest into lending coins, like Fintrux, MoneyToken or NEXO they are pretty undervalued but these tokens are backed by real platform used by millions of people ->  you could trust them and they provide nice yearly interest.  Cool
