Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment Advice for year 2020
on: February 27, 2020, 06:35:33 PM

It is hard to predict what happens to crypto market in 2020. As we can see, crypto is correlated to a traditional stock market, even many experts say that it is not, but what will explain current downtrend? Secondly, we canīt exactly say what will happen after halving, what if miners stop mining BTC because they wouldnīt be in a profit? Because death spiral could happen.. So think wisely, not only positives come this year.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Comparing DAPPS by Traffic and Volume

This is not optimistic, that the most popular decentralized apps are gambling games and decentralized exchanges. Is this what we really need for adoption? Tokens that make sense are only exchange tokens because they generate a profit, but again everything is around exchanging between tokens and playing gambling games. We have to be realistic, do not fall into FOMO, the use case is not real, for now.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why I kept USDT

This is the risk connected to hold stable coins - they are stable, they are not volatile. You will not loose, but also you will not earn in USD value. I do not understand why people still trying trading, trying to find the bottom and tops. 1 BTC was, is and will be 1BTC forever. 1USD today is not a dollar what we used few years ago, thanks to massive inflation rate.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is Airdrop?
on: February 14, 2020, 03:18:44 PM
Airdrop is a term for something that is given to a community as a gift for helping the blockchain community to grow - using a wallet, spreading a word about the coin and other things that are helpful. Basically it is free money, but in most cases this money isnīt free, someone has to pay for it and if you do not find buyer, you will not sell it and you will not get money and that is the problem with airdrop because most of them wonīt be listed on exchanges, they only exploit us to get attentionn.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum versus EOS January, 2020
on: February 09, 2020, 08:58:49 PM
It seems that EOS can compete with Ethereum, but it is temporary because EOS has newer version of software, while Ethereum is waiting for the biggest update: Ethereum 2.0 Casper along with changing consensus to PoS, not dPoS that is creating more centralized network. But the most important update will be sharding and plasma that will bring scalability of Ethereum to the moon, if they achieve it sooner than competitors like Harmony, QuarkChain, Zilliqa overtake the market.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TOP 6 BEST WALLETS TO STORE YOUR ERC-20
on: February 06, 2020, 09:31:58 PM

I recommend to use metamask wallet because, it safely stores your private key, also it supports hardware wallets, it allows you to interact with smart contracts, the payments done by metamask are much cheaper (especially when you send ERC-20 tokens) than when you send it through myetherwallet, probably they use more optimized software for calculating the lowest transaction fee (GAS) for each transaction.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No good projects from a long time
on: February 01, 2020, 04:02:16 PM
Already we have enough projects that have products, team, community and listed on exchanges, so why everyone is still looking for something new? Why altcoins that are older are said to be old with odl not working technology, not popular, simply dead. For me it is one of the biggest mistake. Ethereum is a good example. They have slow development even they have thousand active developers, so where is the problem? To stay decentralized and pretty safe you need to slow down and test everything before you publish it.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your preparation for 2020?
on: January 29, 2020, 08:03:00 PM
You canīt be prepared because if you are the real crypto lover and holder, you will never say that you have enough coins for the next bull run. Because those one who had experience from the past bull runs know how you feel when every coin is booming and you only think why you didnīt buy more coins. Now, almost everyone is doing same mistake, they are thinking if now it is the best time for buying, but they wonīt do that because they are afraid. The world belongs to the brave people!

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Read whitepaper, could you write a whitepaper in the future?
on: January 25, 2020, 12:30:12 PM
Nobody is reading whitepaper, exactly nobody. Imagine, you are an investor, would you read 50 pages of promises? I donīt think so. You would rather focus on team, previous success projects, marketing, working product, advisors, community. That is a real thing, not the plans in the whitepaper. Only whitepaper what worths to read is a Bitcoin whitepaper. Nothing else.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Stablecoins Promote the Mass Adoption of Cryptocurrencies?

I wasnīt a big fan of stablecoins because I didnīt understand it. But now, I canīt imagine the crypto-wrold without them. Thanks to stablecoins you can survive the bearmarket without leaving the crypto-world. You can stake your stable coins on NEXO platform and get interest. You can take a loan and back it with stablecoins. You can easily transfer stablecoins around the world with almost zero fees and with incredible speed comparing to bank transfers.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You think that governments might adopt cryptocurrencies to replace fiat currency
on: January 17, 2020, 08:22:23 AM
Governments will surely not do that of one's own free will. Only people have the power to change the established ways of payments by making a revolutionary. If people start using cryptocurrencies instead of fiat money, they will create a pressure and governments will have to act. In a democratic countries I believe that people can really achieve crypto adoption. People have the power, but they do not use it because they are too lazy for changes to a better future.
