But on the serious side I am in talks the DGC Foundation on being a major contributor to DGC in several aspects.

Which will be a major waste of time   Grin

I didn't know you were a clairvoyant? Could have sworn you were holding some dgc as well.

Nice to see some sort of sanity starting to prevail here from more people who are trying to work together for a coin that is actually serious at being more than just a pump and dump.

Raw thanks for all your hard work especially on pulling the community together and focusing on the big picture.

Thanks Raw. Looking forward to seeing where the DGC community can take this coin. Interesting times ahead.  Smiley

Thanks Rawdog, yes the real chart doesn't lie. I noticed the diff was even higher again back in Feb. Basically whoopdeedoo, this thread is a whole heap of fearmongering about nothing which isn't surprising.

Digitalcoin all the way for me. Great lead dev in Baritus and team of devs working on various projects/services for Digitalcoin. CryptoAve exchange opening back up very soon, DGCV2.0 update, Digitalcoin ATM's about to be deployed at various locations starting with Canada. These are just a few examples. Looking forward to a promising future for DGC.

Yeah thanks for the update Baritus. I bought some more dgc cheap too so many thanks to the panic dumpers. Looking forward to CAve back online and the DGC V2.0 update.

Finally - Andrew Davidson speech at CryptoCurrency Convention 2014

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BkBZIilyP2g&feature=youtu.be

It is great that DGC was discused on this event. Andrew did very good job. I think DGC should be present on other confereces as well, because it brings some marketing value to this coin.

On the other hand (I am sorry for being critically, but I am not blind not deaf), the speech it self was not performed very well and it should be improved.

Thanks for posting this. Yeah of course it needs a bit of polishing but not a bad first up job nonetheless. No doubt that would be very tough to do. Well done Andrew and looking forward to DGC growing and improving.
990  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Digitalcoin Or Worldcoin? on: April 21, 2014, 12:35:03 AM
DGC has paid off at least 4 times for investors, WDC once
although they're about neck and neck right now i know which one im going with

what 4times?
peaked 4 times in price at 70-90k satoshi

Yeah Digitalcoin for me obviously as well. Great community, innovative and active dev and alot of services in development or have already been developed by other people as well.
991  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Digitalcoin Dev ROBBED! on: April 17, 2014, 03:34:24 PM
Im glad to see the fanboi being blinded by facts.

r32godzilla are you really that stupid or is it an act?

Facts? Based on what proof? Fanboi or not I don't like good people having their names dragged through the mud. You might want to check your 'facts' before making stupid statements. Anyway I'm really sure people are going to take your post seriously with a -4 trust level.
992  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Digitalcoin Dev ROBBED! on: April 17, 2014, 03:28:28 PM

Since when does a scammer personally send everyones coins back over a couple of days during a websites extended downtime?? Lets remind the ill-informed here that Baritus has been developing DGC since May last year and has had plenty of time to cut and run when DGC was much higher. People seriously think he would dump 500k now at bottom and do a runner?? Some peoples stupidy is astounding. The OP and all the believers are wacko if they believe that. Next...

Elementary diversion tactic fail. Reminds of me of how layers like to say things like "My client shouldn't go to jail for robbery because he's a person who once helped some one do this or that....." One has no connection to the other and I love how you keep trying to trivialize the amount, it was $30,000 USD not exactly pocket change.

@sampson

You're not confused, you're trying to obfuscate. He sold his coins while at the same time soliciting investments and donations while claiming an extreme need with no other resources hence the "rogue mystery employee" story. So in effect, he stole from his investors.

~BCX~

Diversion tactic my ass. Your the queen of diversion tactics perverting the truth and twisting facts to fit your fairy stories stories. The person that stole the $30k is obviously long gone by now, Baritus on the other hand is still around working on DGC and its various services.

Riddle me this Batman. Why would Baritus dump 500k at bottom and then a few days later seek to buy his lost coins back at the same or higher price? It makes NO sense as he may as well have just kept all the coins and saved himself alot of hard work trying to buy back in. On top of that he needs as many dgc coins as he can for CAve and the upcoming DGC bank as well so once again why dump?? Yes thats right he was buying alot of lost dgc back to recover his losses which can be verified by DGC IRC members. Your argument is a load of speculative toss spun together in an endless lame attempt to try and boost your fragile, attention seeking ego.
993  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Digitalcoin Dev ROBBED! on: April 17, 2014, 02:17:56 PM
I will repeat. HE fucking stole them.

The onus is on him if he wants to prove otherwise.

If he can't he should accept the fact that he is a scammer.

How does one steal coins from themself? Oh wait maybe he has multiple personalities like Jim Carrey off Me, Myself and Irene?!  Grin Cheesy

People warned bartius was a scammer and no one listened. You've been bartiused

Oh lets take this post seriously, I mean its a noob first post and they can't even get Baritus' name correct. Obviously alot of research done there lol.

Since when does a scammer personally send everyones coins back over a couple of days during a websites extended downtime?? Lets remind the ill-informed here that Baritus has been developing DGC since May last year and has had plenty of time to cut and run when DGC was much higher. I don't remember Baritus ever backpeddling. Sure there was concern from alot of people though.

BTW you didn't answer Samson's question how much Digitalcoin you have? You have been mining it apparently. The price has almost doubled in the last day so surely that has to put some sort of smile on your smug face if you do actually hold some??

Here is a 5 page "Back Peddling" thread started by Baritus when DGC first launched. He challenged some newbie to destroy his coin trying to tout his brilliant security measures. When I decided to take on the challenge he had a sudden change of heart.  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=236731.5

I own a few DGC that I have mined while testing out several pools for vulnerabilities. There are quite a few in your top pools.

~BCX~

I don't see any backpeddling just him not inviting other people to attack dgc. His OP was to a guy claiming to be able to attack with a lowly hashrate.

Given you have a 'few' dgc why then are you continually stirring up trouble and repeating the same speculative BS over and over again? A smart person would want coins he is holding to go up in value not talk shit about them. Unless your just trying to buy cheap??

Anyway the more you and the other haters bump this thread the more it keeps dgc in the spotlight.  Grin

996  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Digitalcoin Dev ROBBED! on: April 16, 2014, 02:35:42 AM
DGC had no drama whatsoever before this little artificially inflated ordeal.

Well then obviously you haven't been around since the beginning. In the beginning Baritus made some bullshit statements about Digitalcoin being bullet proof, rock solid blah blah blah and made a challenge to newbie to attack the coin.

When I volunteered to take on the task, the back peddling was epic for a few post.

~BCX~

It IS rock solid, since when has it been forked unlike other coins such as FTC or WDC for example? This is despite numerous reported unsuccessful attempts. I don't remember Baritus ever backpeddling. Sure there was concern from alot of people though.

BTW you didn't answer Samson's question how much Digitalcoin you have? You have been mining it apparently. The price has almost doubled in the last day so surely that has to put some sort of smile on your smug face if you do actually hold some??

ok then.. bumpidity bump then lol

the stupidest scummiest dumbest people on earth reside here.. i think this place is a magical magnet for the ultimate combo of shitty scammers and naive morons.

it's like seeing clowns pile out of a little car never ending for years and thinking there just can't be any more in there and then sure enough.. here they come...
honk honk, goes the coin cloning scammers and the little ass kissing corrupt brat clowns lol

Yes the DGC dev is such a stinking thief that he made sure he personally sent every CryptoAve customer back their coins before it was taken offline for maintenance lol

When your done with the bong pipe I think BCX might want it back.
998  Other / Archival / Re: delete on: April 13, 2014, 11:21:14 PM
Until there is actual proof that he dumped his coins, it's just speculation.  I've seen lots of situations where the easy conclusion to draw was not right. A lot of innocent people for example have been released from prison years later because dna proved the easy conclusion the courts/jury drew were wrong.

He took down cryptoave during the transaction malleability fiasco, says its possible it could be back up this month.  To me it made sense to make sure the exchange was secure before moving forward, as no one wants what happened to cryptorush and several other exchanges to happen to cryptoave.

I'm not at all saying you're wrong, but you're starting a witch hunt with no real proof.

Nice to see another person who is constructive here, actually makes sense and is not just spreading FUD. Yeah pretty much a witch hunt spammed through multiple threads.
999  Other / Archival / Re: delete on: April 13, 2014, 11:08:51 PM
How many stupid threads like this are you going to open on this subject? You have asked the same stuff over and over in multiple threads and have had hundreds of responses already.

"This thread is self moderated for stupidity and spam only. Differing opinions and the usual BCX fan mail will not be deleted."

^^ Really? I think this thread IS spam thanks mods. How many different times can you spam the same crap under different headings?

Even if it was true coin dumps happen all the time who gives a toss? If Baritus was no longer active I might be worried but he's actively developing for DGC as normal and I was able to purchase more dgc while the price is so cheap.

We all know your obsessed with Baritus but seriously do you not have anything better to do?

If the mods were serious about spam they would close this and the other related threads about this. I suspect this probably won't happen though. Oh well more free advertising for DGC if not.

Hello,

The source of attacks on CryptoAve has now been identified. The vulnerabilities created by the heartbleed bug are exactly what was exploited in an attempt to steal user funds.

CryptoAve itself has never been compromised and it is likely that development will speed up now that we no longer have to worry about solving an exploit that never existed in our code.

The exchange will be back soon. We will have a stronger infrastructure and bank level security.

In closing: CryptoAve was never compromised, it was shut down as a precaution and to strengthen defences. We now know the bug that was causing issues is due to the OpenSSL bug and not any of the code or programming language.

Posted from: http://digitalcoin.co/forums/index.php/topic,1010.0.html

Regards,
Baritus

Yeah nice find and good work getting the exchange offline so quickly to protect against this exploit. Thanks for all the hard work following this up. Better to be safe than sorry. Looking forward to CAve being back up!
