I got a message from Nicehash again that my workers failed? (a.k.a. Switched back to kano)
Wouldn't it be a Nice ScamCrash failure if they failed back to Kano?  thats got really nothing to do with it... i can see on my chart a huge dip again... So my miners were off kano again for the 4th or 5th time in a week....  |

Hi, is it me, or is it very silent at the adress of the mininghardware manufacturers? Sure, Bitmain has his X3 and E3 released, last month a A3, but not really something spectaculary profitable. (For them for sure, yes, but i mean for us, miners.) Besides, the E3 was priced at $800, reasonable, and suddenly became $1800! (yeah right, next batch... Sure...) So, i wonder, is anyone close to the fire of a new innovation on mining equipment? Maybe new videocards? Im wondering... Bitcoin isnt spectaculair either, slowly declining... i'm a bit bored...  |

Also, concerning the lower rewards since our hashrate increase: more hashrate = more frequent blocks found. We are gaining more hashrate, and the goal is getting closer. Nobody will be doubtful when we are busting a block a day.
Payouts says: The pool hash rate for the last day is roughly 152.59PHs which means the 5Nd 'ramp' is roughly 5days 17hrs. We're almost to the mythical Block a Day! I really would love it if it is true. Im a newbie here, so correct me if im wrong, but my hashrate is approx. 135 Th, and avg (8 days later) in my graph is at 92. so, 2/3th. Am i correct if i say that this SHOULD be 135 by now already? Dont get me wrong, i dont need a daily payout, as im mining for mid to long term anyway, but i DO want the highest profit that is possible with my equipment. All things said; it makes or breaks if it is wise to buy more miners or not, and i would like to know it as fast as possible... Doesnt sound strange i guess..? |

Can't use logic, some people think Antminers are Magic money printing machines  That always baffled me. Whenever I hear people complaining about anything less than 6 months ROI, I just shake my head. I mean if I made a machine that printed $100 every day, and every two weeks it printed a little less. I wouldn't part with it, for less than what I thought I could make with it for at least the next year or two. The fact that ASIC mfg's continue to sell machines to us still amazes me. I understand that in the beginning they had to recoup startup/R&D costs, but now Bitmain is rolling in cash and Avalon ain't doing too bad either. I would have thought they would all have become like Bitfury by now and just fill their own farms. easy to explain.... If you make a product that cost you $300 and sell it for $2300, you make $2000 instantly. (your buyer needs 6 months of ROI, and another 6 months to have the same profit you do.) YOU manufacture the next batch within 2-4 weeks for $300 each, and start the same game again. One year later: who made the most profit?  logic?  |

No rewards past 3 days... i have to admit that its a hard bite to mine here.... Past week got me profit of one day mining at nicehash.... Hope to see better within next week, or i'll put all of them back to nicehash again... Sorry.. Not sure you understand how this pool works. We had an incredibly lucky last month, and now things are returning to the mean. BTW, if you go back to NiceHash, you'll be making even less than you did here. Simple math.MINE ON WITH KANO-SAN!i dont do math, fiction, promises and spells. I like to be sure, so i mined for one month full power on nocehash als devided my nett profit by the days i mined, so i know what i earn for a day. I am confident to say that (up til now) it is WAY more than i earned over here. But as stated, ill leave it for another week and check the regular payouts. It should go (way) up... we'll see. And yes, i know what the 5n3q2xyz and pplnsbla thing is.. So you are going to compare a month of mining on NH to 2 weeks here on Kano? I must be missing the logic somewhere Am i so smart, or are..... c'mon, its not rocket science... Just read. One month of hashing profit devided by the days of hashing is revenue per day, right? If you know this, you can compare everything (ok. minus 1-2% diff. increase..) NATURALLY you dont compare a month of mining on "A" with 2 weeks mining at "B"... well, for now it dropped again to the drain, after coming up the past 12 hours.
Apparently some big guys are playing poker with their shitcoins.
I'm getting aggrevated about it.... Everytime theres a little hope, and 10-12 hours later you get smacked again.

Well...according to a close relative who is actually an IRS person...it's income when you cash it for USD...NOT when you mine it. Same as gold bullion.
I would recommend not taking tax advice from that person. The IRS has declared that when you receive mining revenue it is treated as ordinary income, at the time you receive it, even if you don't convert it to USD right then. There are financial reasons, if you are hodling, to pay your taxes now on coin mined now, that will save you a lot of money long term. And since its different in every country, and way offtopic, we can quit the tax/irs discussion i guess? |
