Let's get real here. It is not going to hit $100 or $10; even $1 before the year ends is questionable. The pumping that's been going on for the last few days is not good for anyone except small miners. Please, let's think about long term effects...
Yeah I doubt $1 before year ends as well. I don't think this is a pump though, right now it is pretty undervalued. If it gets some good attention after the fund winner is announced it could hit 1 million market cap. |

A quick Update for everyone who just climbed out of the bed:

just paid for 2 out of three more miners. Investment is slow so i am reluctant to go all out. The transaction if interest wanes too much, i'll get the third and last one, then those will mine for me personally. how much do you need invested to get the third? enough to buy at least one and half. then if it's low i'll just buy the third and close up. essentially only those who are in now will ever benefit from the mining op So 9.5ish more shares? more like 10, but 9 will do too. BTC went down. PTS went up and NRS/NRB are going down. I do not want to change the rates , but if the average keeps falling, i may be forced to. Maybe investors can weigh in on this. I would give it a few days before changing the rates. The NRS hashps is at 3.2k :0 I might be able to invest more I will let you know. |

I see what you're saying but the NRS being invested right now are being spent on rigs for the mining op, so the fact that they are undervalued doesn't matter. If you are predicting that NRS will jump way up in value (I am) just invest BTC for now (like I did).

I haven't thought of a better way than barwizi's to count shares/investment. Crypto's are very volatile so a base ratio has to be picked, but don't worry if the price dipped/shot up a lot I am sure it will be adjusted. The mining op is starting now so the investments will be counted for what they will buy Noir Group now. Hope this helps. |

Whether there is any opportunity to finance Russian projects? I mean that most of the community Emc2 Europeans and Americans, and the majority will vote for English-language projects, or they may simply not vote for a Russian or any other projects because of political views. I hope you guys are not of those on whose opinion can affect national-zombie-tv  In russia many smart and intelligent people I think people will just vote on the most interesting/needed/legit projects so don't worry about nationality.  |

I just read this whole thread and I am not understanding the scam outrage that takes up the majority of the 10 pages. It isn't different than any other IPO. IPO's always have a chance of being a scam and that should be factored into your decision before investing. Be ready to risk it, as you should be with ANY altcoin.
If you are worried there are two things you can do. First choice is just wait till it launches (if it does) and then mine it. Perfectly safe. Second option is to not invest until the 27th, giving the devs time to prove the case for edgecoin and that it is real, then invest or don't. That's what I will be doing.
I also recommend ditching the cryptsy trading all that does is add more possible bugs/security risks to trading. I would also love to see a beta launch.

Where are the current/proposed short term investments documented? Can't see on this thread or noirbitstalk.
I guess that means there are none at the moment. Where would they be normally then please? I'm surprised there are none as there seems to be posts on a mining investment or is that something else? The mining investment is actually coming from the General Fund. Noir Group is still in development so the General Fund is all there is at the moment, and the mining is basically putting the investments to work in the mean time. |

So I was thinking of diversifying the NIG GenFund's currencies, adding a bit of hedge so to speak, by entering the fund with a payment of LTC and Namecoin (NMC)

if the investors agree, i could set up the facility. Simply using a cryptsy trade key would mean that anything traded on cryptsy could be used to invest. The only issue i see with this is that we will not have block chain proof of investments. I am not an investor yet (investing this week though), but the only problem I see is that the majority of alts spike hard and then continuously lose value. How about we review certain coins as a group and vote them into the fund? LTC should be fine though. |
