402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchains are still early! on: March 06, 2019, 07:55:35 AM
Yes I have believed this statement,  the blockchain technology is still on its early stage and is growing strong. I believe that this is the best time to be part of this movement as it still enjoy its early stage than later when I think it will be tough to get in
403  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how you feel at this point(currently) on: March 06, 2019, 07:52:18 AM
I feel positive, I feel strong and not giving up. I believe the market is becoming stable and we might see a bullish trend soon Enough.  This is not the time to give up hopes, because the light at the end of the tunnel is now very clear
404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The crypto market is getting green and is improving? on: March 05, 2019, 08:18:34 AM
We have seen quite a number of bullish trend recently although after the btc 11% the recent week, we have experienced a correction lately and that gives the traders much concerns.  We wish to see the market strong.
405  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: it's been a long time I have access mew on: March 05, 2019, 08:11:39 AM
I barely use. MEW but yes, it upgraded its website and now have a new UI. You have nothing to be scared of. Also you leaving your assets on an exchange requires a lot of nerves when we see all that have been going on with exchanges this periods.
406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I am gonna invest need help deciding on: March 04, 2019, 01:13:22 PM
I think what you need first is a basic understanding of the market and how cryptocurrency works then you have to make a deep research on this tokens you listed before you invest. I believe that there's no financial advisor here to tell you exactly what you want to hear
407  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Interesting to see the Crypto volumes getting more inclusive. on: March 04, 2019, 01:06:59 PM
Yes it's good to see the market kinda stable now but it still looks like the Bull is not still strong up till this moment,  just few hours ago the market seems to be heavily pulling back to its initial support which is not too good
408  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the most trending ICO now? on: March 03, 2019, 08:00:01 AM
ICOs are already dead so there is no "top" anymore. things like Bittorrent weren't ICO exactly and because of that you can't compare them with the ICOs that you see. what bittorent guys did was they took investors in their brand that they bought last year and their investors didn't realize they are not investing in a well known company (that company has been sold long ago) otherwise they would have never done it.
Did you kill the ico? Because as far as I know, many ico held its token sales and became successful.  Look at the bittorrent case as an example and I am sure you personally knows many who made it through its fund-raising and went to the market
409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The misunderstandings in KYC (know your customer) on: March 03, 2019, 07:53:23 AM
I don't have any problems with kyc yet, if I go into any project and I was asked for kyc, depending on the type of project and it's quality will determine if I will submit my documents or not.
410  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful of strange projects on: March 02, 2019, 02:55:31 PM
Yea you are very correct,  alot of meaningless tokens are being created just to rub people of there hard earned money. Everyone needs to be very careful as to avoid falling victim to this fraudulent activities by some of this guys
411  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What new categories of bounty would you like to see? on: March 01, 2019, 12:27:21 PM
The campaign you mentioned has been the most essential. You can come up with any other type that suits your project but this one's always comes in play. But I would suggest you try to make them interesting
412  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Got burned! goodbye easy money! on: March 01, 2019, 12:24:40 PM
During the good days, we should expect some bad days as well. This is what many failed to do. When cryptocurrency was booming they forgot to note that there can be times like this and prepare for it. Now many are quoting because of this. I stay strong
413  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the fuzz all about? are ICO's/STO's any different? on: February 28, 2019, 06:02:17 AM
STO's and ICO's are the same, do not be fooled just because a project states to be a STO.
Both are not the same. The STO is the more regulated type of the ICO and the more compressed type to confront the scam.
https://101blockchains.com/sto-vs-ico-the-difference/

they may not be technically the same but they are practically different. and in practice and reality is the only thing that matters.
basically STO is the alteration of ICO because ICO failed and many people (read newbies) thought they failed because they weren't regulated so the "fake" regulations with KYC (which ended up stealing their personal information) were introduced and that eventually turned into new scams called STO.
Both are the same, both are still not yet regulated and whatever people will try to shill for STO and the result will be the same of ico. Is this a joke if they can try to avoid legal problems through change its name into the ICO.

You are very wrong, Polymath is an STO and was regulated. I know many projects which passed regulatory bodies and some that are still inthe process. Because some projects lied about being regulated does not mean many others hasn't pass that regulations
414  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the fuzz all about? are ICO's/STO's any different? on: February 28, 2019, 05:59:33 AM
When ICOs first came to be, the community surrounding it turned a blind eye to security regulations that where currently set in place, thinking they would be able to bypass such laws. After regulations came knocking on the doors of such ICOs a "new" wave of collecting funds started to appear late of 2018 known as STO's, which promises to provide a more secure way of raising funds while minimizing the risk of investors.

Are STO's all they are set out to be?
The answer you will find is no, through all the hype around STO's one has to be reminded that both a STO and ICO are completely the same.
To gain a better understanding you will have to ask yourself the following questions.

1. What are Securities?
In most countries around the world you will come to find that securities are tradable financial assets.

2.What are the regulations for securities?
Each country has different regulations set in place, some have strict regulations set in place from KYC to the restriction of only wealthy investors being able to trade financial assets.
On the other hand there are just some countries who simply do not care to have regulations set in place.

After having obtained the answer of these two questions one can come to the conclusion that both an ICO/STO are to be considered a security dependent on the country in which the project is established in.
Just because a project claims to be a STO does not mean that you can safely invest in it.

So here comes the third question to be asked.

3. Is there protection against fraud in the country in which the project is established in?

Some investors may prefer to invest in projects in which are established in a country with minor security regulations, if so one must be aware of any laws against consumer fraud. Are you as a investor able to hold the project responsible in the case of which they decide to simply run of with your money?
You better make sure there is, an example being St Kitts and Nevis in which there are minor security laws but still enforcement set in place against consumer fraud.

Conclusion
When considering to invest in a STO make sure to inform yourself on current security regulations in the country in which it is established in as not all countries have well established security laws and for those that do most do not allow common folks to invest in such security offerings such as the U.S. On top of being informed of security regulations in such country make sure that there are laws in place that have consumer fraud enforcement set in place to protect your investment in the case of any wrong doing.

STO's and ICO's are the same, do not be fooled just because a project states to be a STO.

Lol!! You should read more about STO and ICOand have a better understanding of them. STOs and ICOs aretwo different things entirely aside the security around the STO that you have talked about,  there are still alot that has to do with STO and can't be compared to any ICO. Make a better research before making such conclusion
415  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel now? on: February 28, 2019, 05:50:45 AM
I feel very normal like ever. Before. I don't know the group you are in that such silence.  Maybe the project is dead or there is no much activities there. Between is best to be silent, too much noise making in the crypto market and industry is why Wallen Buffet talks about cryptocurrency with disrespect

417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is ICO king, Do you agree? on: February 27, 2019, 08:48:37 AM
Ethereum has been on the top for iCOs even when some projects are working to use its own blockchain but they still use ethereum for fund raising which is 80% inevitable. Eth has made it to the top of the list on this and I don't think it will change
418  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: best exchange for traders on: February 27, 2019, 08:46:00 AM
I don't know for others, but I can always think of one exchange that has don't require withdrawal fee which is liquid.  Imagine DDex exchange trading fee at 0.3 - 0.4 TUSD which is quite high to my liking
419  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Somehow tired of bounty/airdrop (share your story on this thread) on: February 26, 2019, 08:32:22 AM
I understand how you feel, you are backing out because of the bear market and you earn anything again. I am glad you mentioned those days when you earned something good from bounty. Some days might not be like that. You can choose to quit or continue.  I cant fortel how it will happen or what will happen
