good guy to deal with, sold him this card (2 of these actually) and i never pushed them. i have read about bios updates ect, never got into all that. was happy at the 550 average and undervolting. i ran 2 7950s and 2 7970s. my wall outlet was pretty warm to the touch so i sold these, not worth the fire risk. the 7970s got on average 600-630.

this is really nice, but are you planning to leave this for daily use? what is the expected duration of the ants @1.1v 3gh/s?
normally its not voltage (unless really on the edge) that kills chips its the high temp (from the increased voltage) that degrades parts till they hardly/dont work, so good cooling offsets the increased voltage. |
