i sent a tweet to them with 4 nodes, but they don't refresh their config...we'll wait.

for the pump i've also tryed in the past, we could do a cooperation, but you need to focus also on comkort, you cannot pump the proce only in 1 exchange

EDIT: i've set some buy orders...
please help me to set up a wall, we've to decide a buy wall limit..
i think that 0.00170 it's a good high price considering that DOGE now is at 37 satoshi

You're right, let's wait for them. Arbitrage usually means volume, which translates into liquidity and velocity. And you need 2 exchanges for that, or 2 pairings at least. which brings up the LTC question. A bump in "dogeoshis" should be followed with the same in "liteoshis"... so if we bump BRD to 0.0017 chances are that we'll also need to bump it to 9 liteoshi or people will just buy at the LTC market to sell at the Ð one for free monies.

I've sent 1200-odd Ð i had at craptsy and put a buy "wall" at 0.00165... i don't have the 25k Ð needed to break 0.017 ATM and i've seen people has been dumpìng... i may need to buy some doge and/or LTC for this.

PS: I'm focusing on Komcort ATM since i'm guessing that BRD deposits are stuck at Europex, at least until they get their wallet working.

Not a problem. Also sent a working node to Europex.eu... delisting was coming soon because they could not sync the daemon due to lack of working nodes.

I could also spend a few doges and pump the price a bit, but i'm afraid that i'd get dumped on instantly. Will think about it anyway.  Cheesy
403  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BIRD] | BLOCK 500.000 Passed! | SWAP WITH CCB AVAILABLE| DONATE TO NEPAL on: May 06, 2015, 09:08:42 AM
Just dropped to say hi. I'm currently pointing some hashes at the network (2 gridseeds to be exact) since when i discovered this, as far as i could tell there was only a Fury mantaining the network - and perhaps a CPU miner. Network hashrate was around 1.3MH/s. Now it's above 2, but nonetheless i think that it's "on life support". I've mantained coins in such a state before, such as NYC or DON which had NO miners whatsoever, and luckily enough for them the network survived long enough not to get delisted and get a chance at getting a new dev. Not that they got very far but still. DonationCoin ended up dying anyway.

On the other hand this coin is active, and shows more potential than NYC or more than 90% of coins out there for that matter - most of them already dead.

That being said, the incentive to mine this coin is almost zero - other than keeping the network alive. Profitability is an order of magnitude less than any other scrypt shitcoin so the only scenario i could see this being somewhat profitable to mine it would be if only ONE person mantained the network, and used a RasPi for hashing or one of those 1st gen 70kH/s USB dual miners at 1w scrypt. As soon as more miners join the incentive is gone - and they still dump!  Huh

Anywho, i can keep some hashes pointed at the network if you think it's needed (please let me know); i'd have to do it if the other only miner quits anyway. But unless there is real progress and price goes up the 80-100 liteoshi range the network is a complete hit and miss and could be completely down anytime without prior notice - which would be a bit of a shame after all the struggle BRD has endured (yes i've read all the threads  Undecided).

Rock on!

404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FlappyCoin Community Takeover on: April 20, 2015, 11:14:37 AM
.....aaand 50 block (2 orders of magnitude decrease) reward kicked in. Profitability down the drain, the network will come to a halt soon unless price skyrockets - like, two orders of magnitude.  Roll Eyes

please take a look - and as i am not of spanish speaking origin - if there is anything that anyone can see as something that freemind1 needs to look at and / or change - please contact here and we can get it organized ...

Native here. Perfect translation.

On a side note i'm keeping an eye on this one. I don't know exactly why but i can see some potential in this project. Granted, this won't be the next BTC but i'm grabbing some GRN just in case. You never know, and scrypt mining is booooring (i never have to service the RasPi and ASICs). GPU mining is so much more fun, although i sold most of my gear almost a year ago.

It's your opinion and as such i respect it. But the stock market analogy is pretty childish if you ask me, you got my point i think.

In any event, FJ went as far as calling him a criminal, a fraudster... even BEFORE the "investigation" was "performed". Very casino, much serious. Wow.

What do you do if you run a table and suspect fraud / faulty equipement? You close it, not to mention going as far as keeping the deposits flowing. First rule of a casino owner. No exceptions, no excuses.

The situation revealed quite a bit imho. Lack of management skills, at the very least. But then again it's your money, your rules.

Peace.

Not fudding. Not only Amazon's EC2 instances T&C's are being violated, but also federal laws - and possibly also international laws.

I'm not the internet police by any means, but i lost a good friend to gambling so if i could, i would get ALL betting sites and casinos shut down - just like if you're a non-smoker and are annoyed by the sole existence of tobacco.

You want to gamble? Fine. There are plenty of places.

And i wouldn't be doing this if they were "provably fair" as they claim. The whole "fraud" investigation could take less than 15 minutes. It just happened that they wanted to write the guy off, but found out that he had an extreme patience and a very good (even naive) attitude. The rest was just waiting to happen.

PSA withdraw your funds from FJ asap, you have been warned.

It's never too late. Glad you did this.

You just saved way more than 13 grand.

412  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XNC] XenCoin | Instant | Stable | Long term Support - New UPDATE!!! on: January 27, 2015, 12:02:33 PM
Diff has readjusted to 0.02979109, i'm removing "life support" since the network has quite a lot fo hashrate now ( Huh ).

Still waiting for a reply from Craptsy. :/
413  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XNC] XenCoin | Instant | Stable | Long term Support - New UPDATE!!! on: January 25, 2015, 08:20:33 PM
Thanks, received!  Grin

I noticed that i'm no longer the only one processing blocks... someone seems to be pointing some hashes (GPU probably) at the network. Nice, that can speed up network recovery a little bit.

Same history with cryptsy.. nothing. They have the working nodes and block explorer, they only need MINUTES to get it working again.  Roll Eyes
414  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XNC] XenCoin | Instant | Stable | Long term Support - New UPDATE!!! on: January 24, 2015, 02:52:29 PM
Ok, confirmed. Transactions working again (although really slow, at least for the time being). I had to wait over 12 hours to find 80 blocks (mature time) so i had some coins for testing.  Undecided

I don't mind maintaining the network up if there's a little bit of interest left from the community, but it can take quite a bit of time for the difficulty to adjust so don't expect instant transactions. But as long as the network is up and running without further issues, Cryptsy shouldn't have any reason not to point their daemon at the active nodes and resume normal activity.

415  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XNC] XenCoin | Instant | Stable | Long term Support - New UPDATE!!! on: January 24, 2015, 08:40:52 AM
Couple of little jobs done:

Wallet rebuilt with a coins-e recognised chain and checkpoints.
Hardcode peer xencoin.com removed.
hardcoded peers xnc.se4.biz and andretti.se4.biz hardcoded.
Block Explorer.

Block Explorer :: http://xnc.se4.biz/block_crawler.php

Updated wallet source :: http://xnc.se4.biz/wallets/xencoin_0915.zip

UK Premier League, FA Cup and Championship Betting (XNC Coin only! Cheesy ) http://xnc.se4.giz/goal

Still to do:

Update protocol.
Get Cryptsy onside.

I found the network completely stuck at too high a diff for any CPU to handle... my days of mining for profit are long since gone so i don't mind pointing a Gridseed at the network to keep it alive. At 0.1x diff the average time between blocks, with so little hashrate, is about 10 minutes. Hopefully the difficulty retargeting algo is not TOO broken and diff will get low enough that the network will no longer need to be on "life support".

Anyway, any stuck TXs should start getting through again and trading (at least at Coins-e) can be resumed, in theory at least - but not many (if any) buy orders. Cryptsy, that's another one; i can open a ticket, but i've read the whole thread and it seems that it's pretty useless unless i'm someone remotely close to the coin dev, which is not the case.

In any event feel free to drop me a line if you think i can be of any help, i'm no programmer but there's no harm in trying - and this is not the first time i am keeping a network alive just because.

EDIT: I'll throw in another Gridseed or diff retargeting will never kick in at this rate.

And in case someone wants to send me a few coins (would be nice to test the network, not even a billion coins are worth anything if they can't be used), feel free: XsLFZAYKAeWjF6KJPqyQNPDZPEmfoMrxUj
416  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][NYC] New York Coin FORUM on: January 15, 2015, 11:08:23 AM
It would be nice to have this coin back to life... yes, it's my first post in here but i like fast (30 seconds block) and "established" coins. Let's face it, this won't be the next bitcoin but it can serve a "niche" market (as  if a whole megalopolis like NY is a "niche market").

First we need a working block explorer. Second, a working p2pool and renewed nodes. Third, code revision and patching (i.e. wallets). 4th, exchanges. And lastly - once the network is back up and running healthy - but most importantly, PR!

Maybe i can lend a hand, drop me a line if you wish.  Smiley
417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MEOW] KittehCoin Relaunch IS HERE!!!! on: January 14, 2015, 01:28:47 PM
We should focus on a p2pool and a stable network first. Second priority exchanges. Third, developement and PR.

Yes i'm new here but i like cats.  Grin

Dev: you're on the verge of completely losing everyone's trust (and you're dragging a reputable bct member along, but i think that he has done this to himself). You can still salvage the project, all you need to do is to be upfront, NOT to delete posts -whatever their content - and be honest. And QUICK.

If i see any signs of the above, i might consider investing.

419  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][RDD] Reddcoin The Social Currency [PoSV] Electrum Wallet 1.0.2 on: November 30, 2014, 12:08:12 PM
Anyone have any idea of the month in which social x would be launched?

If I had to guess I would say April 2015, and even then no rise in value. We are seeing a shift in CC m(Look at changetip) RDD just couldn;t fit the bill. RDD loses another round. I put it to rest and moved into better things.

It's pretty obvious that you're bitter so why wasting your time with useless FUD over and over again? Changetip is a centralised service, it's NOT user friendly and you need an account, load a balance and all that crap. And even then you have to pay fees. So cool...

The upcoming tipping platform is nothing like this half-assed attempt at achieving a viable decentralised, free, user friendly AND universal tipping platform STRAIGHT FROM YOUR OWN WALLET without giving control of YOUR money to ANY third party. So please keep the FUD to yourself since it's crystal clear that you are only trolling because you got butt-hurt by who knows what, which is sad.

Good luck with your life, you'll need it.

DD out, don't expect a reply from me.

PoSV in a nutshell:

https://i.imgur.com/oDp7DN0.png

Two of the major flaws of traditional PoS are hoarding and lack of online nodes (unsecure network)... the graph speaks for itself. Smiley

But if you haven't done it already, i highly suggest you read the white paper:
