401  Economy / Gambling / Re: FastBets stops accepting deposits from US players on: May 05, 2015, 09:46:24 PM
Was it due to a notice, or was it just a precautionary measure to take such a step ? I just hope not to see a lot of other sites follow the same footstep. Taking precautionary measures unless there is any problem , does not seem much necessary .
402  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: PythonPro1337 Scammer [Bounty] Info released on: May 03, 2015, 07:04:56 PM
Took me a while to notice this thread.. this fucker scammed me out of 3.8 btc just last week.. i wont go into too many details but in short he fooled me into trusting him.. i was obviously an idiot for trusting someone with so much coin so no need to say it.
i traced his ip to 69.141.19.44 tho he might have been using proxy/vpn.. i also have a drivers license pic he sent me https://i.imgur.com/NfzrrXD.jpg
he also uses the alias steelcity1988

i dont expect anything to happen, but feel free to run ddos on his ass day n night Smiley

The person you claim to have scammed you is the same person here : http://www5.cs.fau.de/en/our-team/taubmann-oliver
A page from some university. Maybe you can email him directly about it and try to know if its the same person.
403  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Biggest Scam Websites|IS IT ALL 1 PERSON??? on: May 03, 2015, 07:02:10 PM
More than 70% of the Ponzi sites are actually scam sites and will default on payments after it has one big deposit.
And its not surprising that one person is behind multiple sites. Its simple for them to just scam once ,and start another Ponzi or investment scheme and continue their scam. They will probably never stop, but its best for people to stop investing in those ponzis to avoid those scams.
404  Economy / Gambling / Re: Multiplayer bomberman clone - deposits now enabled on: May 03, 2015, 06:56:53 PM
Definitely much better, but not sure what kind of fix was implemented. It doesn't happen that often, but still does, and instead of walking on the wall or the bricks, it comes back with a small lag from the place it went off the normal path.
The lag is still an issue for me, I get around 150 for that.

I believe that bug with passing through walls is totally resolved now, you can never actually go through a wall and for example place a bomb on the other side. if it shows on your computer that you passed through, it is due to a connection loss or very low ping.

thing with slightly going over the obstacle is clearly visible with bad pings (150 is I think too high for playing I think, you should probably wait for me to start a server closer to you) It's still slightly visible with ok pings, but it doesn't affect gameplay, I will work on tweaks that will deal with this a bit later, its not a priority atm.

what was implemented now is that you can watch someone else playing the game, if you click on an already running game.
and this a step towards the ability to watch replays of games that have ended. I need this debug individual games.

Yeah, I did feel it was due to bad ping this time, unlike last time, when it used to happen if I use to press opposite keys too quickly. Would wait for a server near me then. Thanks for the update . Nice to see the site progressing well.

sry for late replies I was away for a bit.

Also I got the same problem of going out of the walls , that I reported in the starting of the month .
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1010288.msg10964912#msg10964912

Yup, I'm aware of that issue, I've been working on other things, but now this has been resolved.

406  Economy / Gambling / Re: SwCpoker.eu | No Banking, Only Bitcoin | Bitcoin Poker 2.0 LIVE NOW! on: May 03, 2015, 06:09:59 PM
Seems Micon started playing on Stars only back in March after leaving US , and just because he played on Pokerstars, doesn't mean he just blew it up on a gamble. He seems to have good stats on PS, specially in the last 2 months as well. He might just find poker +EV for himself, if he considers himself to be a good player, and might consider that a way to raise his funds through that .
I don't see anything wrong with that.
407  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: PythonPro1337 Scammer [Bounty] Info released on: May 02, 2015, 12:21:15 PM
How do you know its the same guy? The name on the driving license is different from the one on the facebook page.
408  Economy / Gambling / Re: dice.ninja - Now with Plinko! on: May 02, 2015, 08:30:52 AM
Its kind of sad to see that everytime someone proceeds or there is any talk about the stolen bitcoin, we have people who jump in here trolling who  take us away from the discussion. It seems , that BBmmBB, or his new alt is just another dice.ninja troll who is trying to do that. Perhaps he should be ignored by everyone.
409  Economy / Gambling / Re: dice.ninja - Now with Plinko! on: April 30, 2015, 09:03:39 PM

That address at one time had a balance of more than 8000K BTC, and looks like it was part of an exchange or a hot wallet for an exchange. I suppose, there were no significant leads following the shutdown .

Yeah we figured out it was AKcoinminer a while ago and nobody wanted to go after him properly.  I only lost 0.2BTC and put in more time compiling and saving evidence than it seemed to be worth to anyone so I focused on trying to break even in my mining adventure and start living real life again.

In other news, AK's account was active again tonight after this thread woke back up and I see he has scrubbed any jpcdice/diceninja references from one of his personal reddit accounts since I last checked.  I believe he also removed some comments from the Huntercoin topics which could implicate him based on these posts from earlier on in this thread. (Pretty sure I have screenshots of all of them though if anyone wants them for some reason)

Perhaps, you should post the proof and have him atleast comment on why he did so. Definitely would be fishy if he did. I heard some people were going after him, who believed him to be behind diceninja , but they never followed up or posted on the thread after.
410  Economy / Services / Re: [INT. CALLS] [Untraceable] [For Sale, Program/Site] Chiliphone on: April 30, 2015, 07:24:40 PM

I plan to offer a similar "payphone" functionality in BitPhone, but I've taken WebRTC to the next level and built a Secure WebRTC Portal which you can create.  A portal is really just a unique Url that you can share with others, when they goto the same link the portal becomes a pure, encrypted, peer-peer connection between the users in the portal.  You can share video, audio, files, screenshare and chat all through this private portal.  This is similar to other services that offer "web-conferencing" but all based on Bitcoin and using WebRTC (your browser) to do everything.  You won't need to install any software (maybe a browser extension) to make all this work!

Gavin

Sounds nice , looking forward to it. Also like Chiliphone, calls made through Bitphone will be untraceable correct ?
Also , let us know if there is an ANN thread for it.

Yes, "calls made through Bitphone will be untraceable", but it gets sticky with carriers / phone numbers involved.
Phone Number based calls are routed through various carriers which I have no control of.  You can't say untraceable IMHO..  anonymous, yes, untraceable, doubtful.

The Portal is 100% encrypted and secure since its peer-peer, no carriers involved..

That was rather confusing, you said untraceable, but then changed to saying doubtful.  The way Chiliphone worked was that it never logged the IP addresses- atleast claimed to , which alone is sufficient to make it untraceable back to us. You shouldn't have a problem sticking to that, i suppose
411  Economy / Gambling / Re: Important announcement from Primedice on: April 30, 2015, 08:52:53 AM
Kind of surprised to hear this, even though Primedice is not based in US . Whats the reason behind this move ? Any chance it is related to the case against SwC ?
People can still use TOR, and maybe you can actually promote that service ,as someone from the US using TOR wouldn't put you in the risk .
412  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Internet of things? on: April 29, 2015, 09:29:09 PM
Hey there guys, I was just thinking to start tinkering with Arduinos or spark core's and hopefully, make and Internet of things (IoT) device.
I just say a video on youtube of a tipping machine, any ideas or suggestions. I am a novice in this area.

EDIT: here is the youtube link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=67McSlKwgX8

Well, that wasn't much IoT, but just general hooking up Arduino and a bit of coding.
Regarding combining Bitcoin and IoT , one can actually invest something like machines or things , or say a fridge for rental. Basically the fridge would be having a QR code(of the owner), who would rent it, and it would be paid for, by some person, and when the rental period is over, it would lock or shutdown, and to reopen, the person would do the same. Not exactly IoT but something similar.

The biggest use of the IoT would be from the blockchain, like Jakesy said. Since it would be the IoT in the future, I am sure it will require a currency , and an infrastructure, which will be satisfied by bitcoin and the blockchain.

PS: The price back then was so low, he must have make 5x his holdings just next month after that video.

Anyone ever confirm this address is? Some of my hacked coins went there.

414  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammed by Bitcoindynamic on: April 29, 2015, 06:34:20 PM

What should I say?

I imagine Skrill will ask for some transaction evidence.

You might unfortunately have to lie about the transaction . You could either claim it was for a physical product, and ask for proof of delivery. http://help.skrill.com/en/Article/business/chargebacks-and-disputes/dispute-chargeback

Another thing you might as well try, which people usually do with Paypal, is claim your account was hacked, and request a chargeback.
I am not sure which one would be better to do though.

415  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin Fortune , basic lottery game , any feedback is welcomed on: April 29, 2015, 06:28:03 PM
The site definitely has a great interface and design . I am not sure how much success you would have, as another site which introduced Lottery, decided to take it out due to lack of interest . But you can always leave it running for a few days.
Also the 2% fees on game fees is kind of high as compared to other sites which offer lottery based games.
416  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet.com - high roller sportsbook | sports betting | sportsbook and casino on: April 29, 2015, 06:15:26 PM
Congratulations to a big winner in the casino this week

How did he do it? High stakes Roulette and Blackjack for 10 BTC at a time. On Monday he deposited 10 BTC which he turned into 110 BTC by the time he was withdrawing today. Who's our next big winner going to be?

The guy is lucky.
It is almost impossible to multiply your capital 11 times unless you bet all your capital into the game.

Not true, I have seen people multiply their capital to 100 times and more, on dice sites. AKCoinMiner was a good example about an year back , who did that on dice many times. Its all being super lucky at the end, and beat the house edge.
417  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: PythonPro1337 Scammer [Bounty] on: April 29, 2015, 06:02:36 PM
Why did you think that someone could or would create all the things you wanted for a half bitcoin? As long as there arent free solutions, where he only has to adjust some things, this sounds impossible.

And even so, escrow is the way to go...

0.50 BTC was a bit of the payment.
But ohh well..

Time to give his info and see if he his name ends up in the news paper on recent deaths.

Well, its a 100 dollars, and even a minute of 2 or researching who you were handing your money over 2, would have made you not send the amount. I Pm'ed you some info, which you might use(not for the bounty, just that something you might use to track him).
418  Economy / Gambling / Re: [NEW] [INVESTMENTS WELCOME] Block.VEGAS Dice & BlackJack on: April 29, 2015, 06:00:58 PM
I am very happy playing blackjack and this is convincing enough to invest?
Nope, not enough to go ahead and invest. You should only invest after the owner has enough trust, but even that leaves a questionable decision to invest.
419  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bittrex phishing warning on: April 29, 2015, 03:19:22 PM
Since when does google allow putting in another url than the real target url? Oo

How is that possible ?? As far as im seeing it has the same name www.bittrex.com or am i blind? I didnt know it was possible to fake that thing

The URL looks the same but check the lower left of the image, the real url is different.

Yeah , Surprised here as well. I recently saw similar post about another website, but even the url was different. In this case the URL shown is correct. However, I couldn't verify as I didn't see the ad accessing through google.com.
Can't we report such things to google, to fix ?
420  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: PythonPro1337 Scammer [Bounty] on: April 29, 2015, 07:39:49 AM
Sorry to state the obvious, but any reason you guys didn't go for the escrow in the deal ?

If I was in your place ,and saw his posts just to see what kind of person he was : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=418704;sa=showPosts;start=80
shows a bit of being desperate for quick money, and would have gone for the escrow option.

As for the refund, I see no other way other than threatening him about posting his details here, but even with that , I doubt he would care.
