It happens because some people get paid per post.

I think Monero (XMR) is very interesting.

Actually that wont be good, as people dont follow threads other than this.
They would lose touch about any updates that might happen.

Why this topic is already open when all of us know that this shit site is only a SCAM? Is it possible to close this topic?

The website no longer works, so keeping this thread open doesn't cause anyone to lose money. This topic mostly serves as a place to post any information one can find relating to the owner's identity, which is a good thing.

I don't think that is probably to find the owner's identity, that's very difficult, but if cause that this topic is open to post any information, it's better that this topic will remain open Smiley

That address at one time had a balance of more than 8000K BTC, and looks like it was part of an exchange or a hot wallet for an exchange. I suppose, there were no significant leads following the shutdown .

Yeah we figured out it was AKcoinminer a while ago and nobody wanted to go after him properly.  I only lost 0.2BTC and put in more time compiling and saving evidence than it seemed to be worth to anyone so I focused on trying to break even in my mining adventure and start living real life again.

In other news, AK's account was active again tonight after this thread woke back up and I see he has scrubbed any jpcdice/diceninja references from one of his personal reddit accounts since I last checked.  I believe he also removed some comments from the Huntercoin topics which could implicate him based on these posts from earlier on in this thread. (Pretty sure I have screenshots of all of them though if anyone wants them for some reason)

While bit-loot.com =/= the coding level required for Dice.Ninja, it certainly proves he had some knowledge of coding.

This is from the Just-Dice chat logs:

Quote
+ Mon Jun  9 04:00:32 2014 (788073) <AKCoinMiner> I've still got a ton of HUC as well
  Mon Jun  9 04:00:55 2014 (716561) <a1choi> wut.  he lost 90% of his invesment
  Mon Jun  9 04:01:00 2014 (134004) <@SJ> easily
Mon Jun  9 04:01:05 2014 (1470) <KLYE> *if* HUC gets a web based client that you don't have to download the blockchain... It could go to the moon
+ Mon Jun  9 04:01:13 2014 (788073) <AKCoinMiner> actually, I nearly finished a pretty nice opengl cross-platform huc client before blockchain syncing issues made it difficult to keep working on

Remember the "fancy bets" feature at dice.ninja? Wasn't that a pretty nice opengl cross-platform dice game visualisation? I seem to remember dmf or toad in the dice.ninja chat saying that it was opengl.

Again, this isn't proof of anything. It is just more circumstantial evidence: dmf and AK both not only have some knowledge of coding, but both have experience of a specific coding technology.

Forget it, Donny, you're out of your element!

The thing that DMF showed me that Dice.Ninja was considering for Huntercoin was this game that was sorta like older tower defense like game.  It was 1v1 and you would send floods of different types of dudes to destroy each others castle.

No clue what it was written in.

Perhaps, you should post the proof and have him atleast comment on why he did so. Definitely would be fishy if he did. I heard some people were going after him, who believed him to be behind diceninja , but they never followed up or posted on the thread after.

Well then, go ahead, read OP's trust comments:

Or trying going to the site if reading is not your strong skill.

dice.ninja has been offline for ages. It was a straight-up scam, apparently. The site suddenly shut down one day and the site's owner ran off with the funds. They were quite popular because dooglus (who owns Just-Dice) recommended them after gambling restrictions in Canada forced him to stop accepting BTC and temporarily disable his site (it's currently back up and running but it now uses an altcoin called CLAMs). Before dice.ninja, dooglus recommended another dice site called Dicebitco.in which also closed down in similar shady circumstances. I lost a small amount of BTC from that one:

Quote
Dice.ninja was a dice betting site that was popular in the second half of 2014. It offered provably fair games, Bitcoin and Litecoin support, the ability to invest in the site's bankroll, and a 1% house edge. On October 10, 2014, Dice.ninja and two other associated websites (JPCDice.com and DarkDice.net) went abruptly offline while their Twitter pages and email accounts were shut down. Analysis of the blockchain revealed that ~2,000 BTC of users' funds were taken out of the cold wallet and sent through a mixing service while the site owner(s) disappeared.

As I remember it, AKCoinMiner did admit to moving a lot of coins from dice.ninja to primedice shortly before dice.ninja closed down. It's not clear whether they were in his dice.ninja balance, or whether he was the site's owner. He denies being involved with dice.ninja and says he was simply using dice.ninja as a web wallet (I think, it's a while ago now). He's not my sidekick or cohort or any such thing.

Same here. Both seemed to be pretty legitimate and professional-looking and their owners didn't seem to give off a scammy vibe. I doubt anyone could've predicted that both sites would end up the way they did. Also, I'm kind of on the fence as to whether or not Dicebitco.in was truly a scam (although if it wasn't one then it's obvious that they still messed up really bad).

I think the important lesson is that when it comes to dice sites and anything Bitcoin-related in general, trustworthiness and legitimacy are things that take time to grow and develop. Just-Dice is a legitimate site with a very good reputation and track record, and you have proven your trustworthiness by managing the site very well during the past several years. You could have done the same thing as countless other dice sites did by running off with your customers' coins, but you didn't. And that's what separates JD from the dozens of other clones out there. Unfortunately, ever since Just-Dice stopped accepting BTC investments, there has been a huge gaping hole in the market for a trustworthy dice site that accepts BTC investments and since all of the sites which attempted to fulfill this demand were new at the time, it was pretty much impossible to separate the good ones from the bad. Sad
