401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which cryptocurrency are you using exept Bitcoin?why? on: October 05, 2015, 07:18:12 PM
I have been using for a few weeks trading bitcoins to ethereum.
Especially in poloniex as the volume was enormous.
The volume was over 1 thousand bitcoin, and the trades were really dynamically.
402  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best way to earn Bitcoins? on: October 05, 2015, 07:15:58 PM
I've heard of trading before. I haven't looked much into trading bitcoin with other altcoins but I do have experience trading Bitcoin for fiat. I am interesting in learning more at this and learn how to do more of this myself.
altcoin faster trade profitably, despite having considerable risk in trade bitcoin appeal. yeah in altcoin trade at least I can make some satoshi every day Smiley

Trading altcoins for bitcoins is a good way to make good amount of bitcoins.
But you have to be aware about the sleeping unless you have a good bot that does it job.
Recently i lost lots of satoshi while i was sleeping as the price was dumped too much of DOGE.

Some exchanges allow you to have a open order.  So you could put your DOGE or other coins at a sell price that if it drops below that you want to sell.   But if it drops below then goes back up yes... you lost possible profits.

Also so many alts are pump/dump.  Or not a good coin they change icon and name.   That trading altcoins is not as easy as it sounds.  Holding BTC is a much more stable and safer long term bet.

For example in poloniex there is a field called "STOP - LIMIT".
Which pretty much does it job what you described above.
But i have seen that also this "tool" is being manipulated and probably you can loose.

Price prediction: $10.000 / btc
Date: 1/2/2016

keep dreaming. $10,000 btc won't even happen within 2020. we might be lucky if we break through the $500 level in whole 2016.

This is simple unbelieving speculation. 2020 is not far from now.
But also it is not near as the technology trending is going very fast.
As the randy8777 said 500$ would be good enough for 5 years later from now.

In my opinion this would mean nothing big had happened. Bitcoin would be still very very small and living in a niche which can not grow of what reason ever.
I expect way more in 4 years and 3 months.

If we take as a reference this day price which is around 240 USD.
Then it should almost a double ~500 USD by 2020 which we speculated few posts before.
I think that it is not a big jump, but if you have lots of bitcoins it makes sense.
404  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bank or Bitcoin Wallet? on: October 05, 2015, 07:13:02 PM
Corrupt government can seize your bank accounts but can't seize your Bitcoin if you are smart enough.

I don't know if you have seen that a forum member's bitcoin funds has been seized.
As the deal was through localbitcoin and "was not legal" it is a thread here but can't remember right now
He is legendary and you can read his story, i think username burw or similar like that.
But i think bitcoin is much better that banks but both have pros and cons.

Bank is more practical because its the system everything is built around, but Bitcoin solve so many issues and concerns with Fiat and especially country-specific Fiat that it has its place alongside common currency for sure.

Depending on what you plan is for your currency. Bank AND a Bitcoin wallet is probably the way to go. If its something specific like holding over a long time, it is probably best to use cold storage bitcoin wallet.

Bank is almost everywhere, but bitcoin isn't.
But i would not go for one or another one. I use both of them and i don't to focus only on one.
Popular exchanges work in bitcoin but also through the bank to receive/send fiat funds.
405  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How earn 1BTC a year? on: October 05, 2015, 07:11:11 PM
By joining avatar campaigns you should earn 0.02BTC x 12 months = 0.24BTC yearly.
Then to reach that you should post at least 150posts within a month 150 x 12 = 1,800 posts within a year.
After that to reach 1BTC your pay rate should be at least 0.0004BTC per post and this is your journey for 1BTC a year.

409  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you earn a lot of free bitcoins fast? on: October 05, 2015, 04:25:22 PM
No one give you a lot of free bitcoins fast. You have to work to get it. And be carefull to not enter any of the hype scams or ponzi scams who promise what your asking for, but high chances you end up empty handed...

Nobody gives lots of free bitcoin, it only can happen if you solve any problem to them.
Join giveaways, trade with less profit and spend lot of times in faucets.
But also join signature campaigns, avatar campaigns etc.
410  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What ie better Еbay or АliExpress? on: October 05, 2015, 04:00:55 PM
There are many fake stuff on aliexpress.
We know that most of fake things are produced in china and we should be careful when buying.
The things most of the time are cheaper than ebay, and the shipping is good, but long.

412  Economy / Economics / Re: Did Bitcoin Ruin Your Life, Or Help Your Life? on: October 04, 2015, 10:18:14 PM
Personally i have learned a lot about the new payment method - bitcoin.
Being your own bank and hold our funds. It is an interesting coin.
I think that it has helped me and that does not ruin my life.
413  Economy / Speculation / Re: What are possible scenarios for the block halving? on: October 04, 2015, 10:06:22 PM
What things could happen with the btc price when the block halving occurs? will the price go down due to miners cashing out? or will the block chain slow down due to miners shutting off their mining equipment? will the price go up because of less daily bitcoin created? what will likely happen?

I think that the price should increase or there will be a "hard" crash.
Because the mining farms does not have a good profit if the block reward is 50% less.
The price normally should be increased to keep all parties good.

415  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you used Bitcoin as Real money to buy Real/physical goods? on: October 04, 2015, 09:46:50 PM
It has been easy to use bitcoin to buy physical goods.
One alternative is by buying amazon gift cards (for 10-30% OFF)
And buy with them the goods that you want, easy yeah?

How do you go about acquiring legit cards (not stolen, exploit, etc) from a reputable seller in good enough amounts? I've heard someone was doing that with his BTC and his amazon got locked and he need to go through much effort to even get in contact with Amazon. The techs on the phone don't know what is up and they can't help or anything.

Well if you want much more discount then it can happen that you can end in troubles.
But buying from reputable old sellers then i think you should be safe, then gyft.com has good quantity of amazon gift cards.

So where do you find those reputable seller for 10-30% off? And Gyft has been absolutely annoying in the past, only dealing with the US or their credit being invalidated if used outside the US.

I am in Canada.

I am not a buyer neither a seller of these type of gift cards.
But if you are looking a lot then you should find at least 1 reputable seller.
But don't expect a huge discount but at least 10% of course, i don't have any information but based on digital goods and gyft, cryptothrift and other websites there is always a discount.

Well i will have to do research but i already have a good method of buying goods strait from BTC so the extra loop is more for occasional things when rarely Amazon is a better deal, which is very rarely, compared to businesses that are already in Canada.

Another thing i would be interested is in steam wallet but yeah. Again already a way to buy the games strait with BTC, so extra loops and risks i'm not willing to go to lengths to obtain.

Digital goods are always risky because there are many fraud activities.
You can easily be scammed if you deal with any newbie, but always be careful.
Purse.io is another service but also that is not safe neither, let's hope for the best.

417  Economy / Services / Re: get paid to call canada 0.000008 BTC/minute on: October 04, 2015, 09:38:44 PM
how can you calculate and come to know that whether i made a call to canada or not, if anyone lies and tells you that he called canada for 5 min. then how will you verify. i am from india so i think this deal will be costly for me as this call will be international call for me.

It is very costly but he is asking if we have any plan to call unlimited to canada numbers.
But it all depends if it is landline number or mobile number.
Another question is if we have to call only 1 number or there are many different numbers?
418  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bank or Bitcoin Wallet? on: October 04, 2015, 09:37:04 PM
what you will chose amomg them.and why do the banks are afraid of bitcoin.why banks are not much smooth and faster like bitcoin.if banks start accepting bitcoin as payments then will it became a revolutionary for us?can bank can solve our mining or money curculation probems.

Not all people use bitcoin to send or receive payments.
The number of people is very small comparing to number of people that use banks.
I think to use both of them, bitcoin mostly if you use it more often and bank for rare transaction.
419  Economy / Services / Re: get paid to call canada 0.000008 BTC/minute on: October 04, 2015, 09:31:16 PM
Do you have unlimited canada calling minutes then here you can make some bitcoins by calling canada numbers and just for call.

Calling 100 minutes earning 19 cents ?
Where should we call Is it landline number or a mobile number.
I have in mind a method but i am afraid that this number would be blocked.
420  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: the biggest innovation of bitcoin is ... on: October 04, 2015, 09:28:22 PM
the biggest innovation of bitcoin is small fee on transaction.
Comparing to international transfer then bitcoin transaction fee are few cents (or mostly free)
Fast transfers, fast confirmation and sometimes it sucks on double spending.
