821  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin goes to 1200-1300 within a month by a 2022 on: August 27, 2015, 06:44:35 PM
it sounds impossible, but who knows. we are a magic world, everything could happen. i think all of us hope it rising, the reasonable price around 300-400

There are about 1.4 TRILLION US Dollars in circulation. The value is artificially set with nothing real to back them other than "The full faith of the US government".

There are only a little more than 14 Million Bitcoins available. The value is set by difficulty and energy it takes to bring them into existence, and a consensus among all who use them. They also have "Special Powers" not endowed to ordinary fiat currency... There is no central bank, they cannot be stolen if properly kept, and they can be sent to anyone, anywhere in the world almost instantly.

Imagine for a minute where the value of Bitcoin would be if only a small percentage of the 9 billion people on Earth wanted to own one...

@vtr99 It's all about advertisement and how people can use it, which sector of life? everything is possible, the last crash make many coins decrease its value

As reported by coinmarketcap.com, about 40% of all coins listed are no longer active. The coins that are no longer around didn't have any real use other than mining them at their peak and exchanging them for more valuable coins, or just selling them for a quick gain. Every down cycle since Bitcoin's inception has made coins decrease in value. In the beginning we used to see maybe a couple cycles a week. The up cycles have slowed because so many lemmings are only in it for short term gains. That is why I've been saying for the last couple years the coming big market crash is going to change things big time (you can look back at my posts and predictions). Let's compare notes in a couple months. The crypto scene is about to change quite dramatically.  Smiley

Pretty amazing timing if you ask me.

You are very optimistic, i really like people like you, only positive things.
It is try that there are many coins and around half of them as you said are no longer active or their market cap has been decreased to much. Yes the cryptocurrencies are changing dramatically and it is very competitive.

This is a good start from the beginning, good luck in future. Quoted for future references.
Here is mine 1E35dNx1BCxAzWfLjPu8K3mwWL2hhjD21M
but I use different addresses what about that

Every user must have their own bitcoin address, what do you mean exactly?
I mean I use a different address for each transaction so I might abandon my above posted address anytime. Ignorance is regretted

Well my suggestion is to use one main address, and then you can sign message from the main to the others to prove that you own those. It's ok but keep in mind the main address.
Got it now.Thanks for explaining

You are welcome, if you have an issue or stuck anywhere please let me know i will help you.

I suggest to buy bitcoin, the bitcoin price is changing dramatically but let's calculate something 5,000$ % 220$(price of btc before some hours) = 22.7272 BTC. And selling this only after 9hours when the price was 230$.

22.7272BTC x 230$= 5227.2727 USD.

You see the profit now?

5227.2727 - 5000 = 227.2727 USD profit in just 9 hours.

P.S i didn't included any fee from exchanges.

Yeap, I see the profit. So it's like stocks right? Buy low - Sell high! Wink
Do you reccomend any exchangers, with low fees and such?

Many thanks,
John

Well dont have any experience with fiat currencies but i would suggest 2 of them: coinomat.com and/or bit-x.com. Please research yourself here in forum about these main exchanges and others. and best of luck.

Congratz unchi for this awesome project, i tried it with a passphrase and salt just one digit and it take some time to generate. And we mostly care about security, good luck in next updates.

May i suggest the OP an exchange? In YoBit there are many new coins, i think is a good idea to spread the HAM there, with at least 1 btc volume.

834  Economy / Lending / Re: People taking too many loans? on: August 26, 2015, 03:41:30 PM
The main problem is if bitcoin price goes up suddenly alot, then how are they going to pay it? They will default.

Now they are not necessarly scammers, but they just cant pay it at higher prices, so its not necessarly a good idea to take a bitcoin loan.

Yes that is a big problem, but if people need for trading so they can increase their amount of btc then it should not be a problem to pay back in this case.

836  Economy / Economics / Re: How many people are using Bitcoin debit card? on: July 25, 2015, 01:02:40 PM
I am not using a bitcoin debit card due to the fees that have many company.
The fees are too much if i have small money, but if the bitcoin is large the fees are not much
837  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptsy = Trash on: July 25, 2015, 01:02:03 PM
That is absurd to be locked an account if it is inactive for 6 months, i think this should be removed,
I planned to leave cryptsy and join poloniex, it has a large volume of coins
838  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as a national currency? on: July 25, 2015, 12:59:08 PM
It is never late,

839  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Pizza for bitcoins? on: July 25, 2015, 12:58:10 PM
ii hope so. i hope this thing will happened to dogecoin in the future.
is not impossible if then in 5 years or less , 1 dogecoin worth $100. i will get rich . because now i'm holding around 200k doge as my savings and investment.

The same situation is also with any other alternative coin, for example i own some stellar which i got last year and i am holding them nobody knows the future
