Anyways, this first match that will take place on the 10th but I'm a little interested and can't wait for the Falcon vs TS match. I'm sure this will be an interesting match and it will take a little longer to complete each map. And the temporary prediction for Falcon vs TS map 1 total kills over 42.5
What are the odds when you took that line? Yesterday, I saw the total lines taken down for quite a while, and now it's up to 47.5 kills.

I'll still tail your prediction because I checked their stats in some of their previous meeting and they always have a total kill count of 50+ per game.

But I'll try to be more conservative and if I won't be betting on the match winner, maybe for maps 1 and 2 only and not with the series winner which is safer I think.
This is a good alternative strategy, and you can even get better odds by betting on each map because, in the three-way market, the draw can sometimes go for as low as 1.85(decimal odds).

My q2 prediction failed so quickly, but at least Spain pulled through for my first two points and I think that's more than enough for a lot of us to survive this round based on how things are shaping up on the spreadsheet.

I'm praying for another 2-1 finish as I have BTTS yes and under 3.5 for the next match and possibly push for the top two in the overall leaderboard.  Grin

I've been overthinking that question since yesterday. I imagine the match ending in a few ways like 1-1, 1-0, or 0-0, and there's always the possibility of someone else scoring through sheer luck, a bit similar to what we had in question#2 from the previous round.  Tongue

The fifth question seems the easiest if we assume both matches can smoothly go through ET and penalties.
404  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🏆 GOSUBETTING 🏆 THE ULTIMATE BITCOIN BETTING GUIDE ⚽🏀⚾🏈🎮🎰📈 on: July 09, 2024, 12:27:57 AM
I took more risks in last few rounds and it paid off for me because I jumped up to 15 place.
This is not enough to win any reward yet but I am not far from top 10 positions so I need to play my cards right in semifinal and final matches.
I'm also on the rise only a few points behind you. After predicting all the outcomes in the QF matches correctly with draws and Netherlands, I moved up 28 places to get back on the first page of the leaderboards.

One more good round like that and we'll probably make our way through the top 10, worst-case scenario everyone gains more than half of the available points but I hope there are a few guys who'll unexpectedly sacrifice their spot.  Wink

I'm so sorry, maybe #ralle14 also experienced a very annoying defeat.
The annoying part is getting teased twice in a row by these teams, anyway, it's fine it only pushed me back a bit since I got to win a few tickets from the play-ins.

Also, the groups are out with Group A getting more stacked with Blacklist Rivalry, Aurora and Heroic added in there while Group B only got easier with beastcoast, Mouz, and PSG.Quest. The latter don't have much experience on the international stage so I feel like they'd easily get stomped by the other four teams.

Trofo posted the pairs and I'm not there, in tg I asked him how many relegated from 2nd division to 3rd this season, and he told me that 3 users because a guy from 1st division abandoned the competition
I see, so casperBGD's withdrawal from the league helped you dodge that relegation battle. Thanks for the clarification and congrats on holding on to your Div2 slot.

I guess that means the promotion battle between the Div 3 teams is now one step easier since there's an extra slot available. Even though my team is safe from all of this, i'm somehow becoming invested in how the playoff picture would look like.  Tongue

The team finished in 9th place which is a nice improvement, one rank higher than the previous season. Grin

If I'm not mistaken I'm safe from a possible relegation, the last 2 rounds I've had bad luck with the defining question, this time Dimitrov starts winning the 1st set 3-0 and then he got injured and it was a tie for me this round, so I'm grateful with Vivekdkhyani for defeating Hhampuz and saving me from relegation
Not quite, you avoided direct regulation, but still have to fight for your spot against whoever comes second in the promotion battle between the top 2-5 Div 3 teams.
408  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How long have you been gambling in sports? on: July 08, 2024, 03:36:08 AM
How long have you been gambling, and have you already figured out how to win? If yes or no, please explain.
I can't recall the exact year, but my estimate is close to a decade since it was the time when skin gambling was still booming and about finding ways to win, i've given up on that idea.

It didn't work out for me back then when i've been through that serious phase, I had a lot of downs and i'd rather move on before it gets worse. I still try to win most of my bets whenever I gamble, but now I mostly go with whatever my luck throws at me instead of putting in a lot of effort and time similar to those who want to make it.

Nouns had a 18k lead in map 2 but gave it all back to lgd and then took it back again  Grin

now its tier 5 neutral items time  Grin Grin
That second game was probably one of the longest games we've had so far, and i'm annoyed LGD spoiled my other ticket to end the day on a loss.  Tongue'

There are no matches for a few days, but we get to see which teams will be put in Groups A and B later today. So far, it's looking like Group A is the "group of death" with Falcons, Spirit, and Gladiators these three are the teams you don't want to meet. Group B seems less scary with BB, Liquid, Tundra, and Xtreme, I think Xtreme is the only tough team out of the four unless they suddenly go against the meta like the other Chinese teams.

From what I was reading I believe these matches have concluded so did you manage to pull out another win?
Only the first series (Mouz vs. Virtus.pro) ended so far with Mouz winning 2-0 to spoil our over tickets.

Virtus.pro almost had the second map under their control but their Puck made a few costly mistakes by dying quickly and it helped Mouz dismantle the fight in their favor and then transition to the objectives for the win.

I hope the next series doesn't disappoint since LGD looked okay against IG yesterday.
411  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: July 07, 2024, 07:33:36 AM
Today there is still a virtus.pro match against Mouz and Nouns against LGD Gaming.
Yep, today's the decider matches with both winners qualifying for the actual group stage and i'm glad there's no more bo2 at least for today.  Cheesy

I'm also betting on the over 2.5 maps, as both series can shift on any side. They're all good enough to take a map, but not as solid as the other teams who finished at the top of their groups.

The round isn't over, but after the England match ending on 1-1, i've got the final point I needed to secure my win.  Cool

I'm sorry for spoiling your promotion chance @jeremypwr. I had to do what I could to sit in the middle of the pack and secure my stay for the next season.
413  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can free games be gambling? on: July 07, 2024, 04:46:21 AM
Playing free casino games with play money doesn't hit the same as playing with an actual balance. It's enjoyable at the start, then the level of enjoyment quickly goes downhill as you learn the ins and outs of the game.

I also agree with Woodie, certain free games can somewhat replicate gambling by having a catch, for example, adding prize money in a free contest. Others would probably disagree, but for me, they're almost as fun as gambling because it's like someone is giving you a gambling ticket for free, and they're usually limited since casinos still have to find ways to profit.

This round is the best one i've had so far, I expected the worst because I picked a couple of draws thinking i'll hit one of the two, but both matches delivered.

I hope the difficulty level of the question stays the same and my luck doesn't turn sour in the upcoming round, as i'm mostly aiming for that free bet in the final.  Wink
416  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: July 06, 2024, 03:02:23 PM
Heroic almost killed my parlay, but they had a meltdown in the late game, and Aurora with the clutch moves mainly Lorenof with his Pango.

Usually there are only 2 maps in previous matches but the bookmaker provides 3 maps, meaning surprises will happen.
G2 is very favored in this match but LGD Gaming will not just give up.
I thought your bookmaker set the wrong format for the match, then I found out they're playing a bo3 tiebreaker, instead of a bo1 for the 5th place.  Tongue

Based on the teams they've taken a map, G2.IG has a slight edge on this matchup, and I can't blame you for taking the over 2.5 maps in this series since they're both equally bad.

417  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: July 06, 2024, 05:04:06 AM
Hopefully everything will be solved for official groups where the real Dota 2 should happening because if they don't , the experience will be a bad one no matter how much money Esports World Cup can provide right ?  Huh
I'm starting to think the issue will stay until the end of the group stage because it's been two days in and maybe their production team isn't the same compared to what they've had in the previous ESL/Dreamleague tournaments.

We're on the last day of the groups, and it's best to avoid the teams only playing for the seeding.

The teams that I find worth taking for today are beastcoast and Aurora to win at least a map for 1.68, Virtus pro needs to sweep beastcoast to avoid playing in the deciders tomorrow, but I don't see it happening after VP only won one out of the four maps they played. Aurora is slightly favored against Heroic which makes me a bit confident even though Heroic is the hottest team in their group going 7/8.

Nouns to sweep at 2.4 are tempting as well, i've read a comment saying that the Chinese teams aren't keeping up with the meta and it's why the three of them are struggling this badly.

Thankful for that late goal from Germany to end the regular time with a draw to help me widen my lead against jeremy, now I only need one more point from questions #6, 9, or 10 to avoid the possibility of a relegation round.

Also, i'm starting to like my prediction for question#6 so much that i'm thinking of following it with a bet on the under 2.5 goals.
419  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: July 06, 2024, 02:05:45 AM
I thought the free bet promo was already over until I saw this notification popped out earlier today, I guess the weekly wagering continues even though the promo is missing from the promo page.

It is possible for us to see a lot of goals in the match. 1.75 odds for over 2.5 goals looks quite attracting to me.
I also like the over 2.5 at those odds. Both teams can always score a few goals, and Netherlands alone can cover the total.
420  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: July 06, 2024, 12:55:14 AM
Its too bad that you didnt win this. I probably would have taken this as well given that Beastcoast managed to get two draws yesterday especially after they lost the 1st map.
They almost had the second map, but Watson's Morph was unkillable and beastcoast only had Weaver as their main damage dealer.

Still, I got it back after taking Blacklist Rivalry to sweep Virtus.pro in the other series.

Its pretty rough as always on bo2 games, the games are totally unpredictable and its kinda weird. I personally still lean on taking draws on bo2 games but its kinda weird to even watch the game expecting draws lol. I'd rather support a team to win rather than hoping for draws
I agree, you never know when one of these teams would fold or turn up all of a sudden. With countless tournaments that use the bo2 format, i'm already used to it.  Tongue I tend to skip the first map and watch the second to root for the team that still needs a map win.
