new member is yet to be announced and there arent even any rumors yet but this new g2 lineup might go on a run after removing their worst 2 players on paper 

Earlier today, they announced Snax and I saw a few comments saying it's a downgrade. As for me, I think it's worth a shot and could be a potential upgrade after their success with Stewie during the IEM Dallas.

Tough luck, I actually called the draws. Out of 6 first games, 5 were draws so yeah it was decent but I ended up only getting 2 of them  because I thought it wouldnt be possible for most game to get the draws

Group A is wild, only one series ended up with a 2-0 while the rest are draws.

This is the result I got. I could have used a parlay to get odds around @3+ but I'm more comfortable with a single bet.

Those are some good wins and I agree single bets are always the best move.

Today I was late in placing a bet so I only got very small odds on the first map.
But I consider this as a warm up because after that I returned my satisfaction on map 2.


In the second map it is very easy to predict because from the first map the final results of these teams are clearly visible.
I felt a little strange seeing LGD playing style and this team could have held a draw but the bad strategy of using Spirit Breaker on the second map and letting Natsumi use Ursa was a big mistake. (Easy for LGD)


This is a temporary prediction for the next match.Wish me good luck

Day 2 with a lot of issues once again all across the streams and they still didn't fix the flickering issues , nor the server issues , nor the lag issues ...basically they didn't fix anything. Like this tournament has the biggest budget of the year for Dota 2 and they are still unable to provide a clean experience for teams to actually play their game without having to mentally reset from time to time just because the production are making mistakes after mistakes... .

Hopefully everything will be solved for official groups where the real Dota 2 should happening because if they don't , the experience will be a bad one no matter how much money Esports World Cup can provide right ?

Congratulations with your wins. It seems that I'd avoid the match winner and result and will go with the other factors for each games like max kills or how long the game will be.

I think it goes with the server of Valve. I'm not sure if ESW have coordinated this with Valve or not but they should help them with the server specifically on their region, MENA with this kind of tournament. But I hope that it will be smooth for the upcoming days to come especially the main event.

I've watched the match of PSG.Quest and Aurora. Well played for the Quest, they've completely outsmarted and outplayed Aurora for 2 games. I've missed that bet but I'd probably avoid that.

I'm starting to think the issue will stay until the end of the group stage because it's been two days in and maybe their production team isn't the same compared to what they've had in the previous ESL/Dreamleague tournaments.

We're on the last day of the groups, and it's best to avoid the teams only playing for the seeding.

The teams that I find worth taking for today are beastcoast and Aurora to win at least a map for 1.68, Virtus pro needs to sweep beastcoast to avoid playing in the deciders tomorrow, but I don't see it happening after VP only won one out of the four maps they played. Aurora is slightly favored against Heroic which makes me a bit confident even though Heroic is the hottest team in their group going 7/8.



Nouns to sweep at 2.4 are tempting as well, i've read a comment saying that the Chinese teams aren't keeping up with the meta and it's why the three of them are struggling this badly.

Despite that Blacklist was already qualified for group stages, their first match against Entity doesn't seem to be interesting at all.

Those who have bet on them have totally lost their money even if they're going to tie the series for the map 2. Both of these teams are already advancing to group stages so, it seems that they're just having fun.

And this match of theirs is just giving them the vibes to have fun.

And that is because Azure Ray got 0-6 with all of their games that guarantees their elimination but they still have 1 game left against nouns. Moving forward to the group stages, that's where I'd probably start betting but it's kind of hard when the series' are still gonna be a best of 2.

I can't believe what games I've just witnessed with Aurora vs Heroic!! A mega impressive comeback from Aurora being down 30k networth at some point! Not only they managed to make a comeback but they win with backdoor protection being ON which makes this comeback even more crazy. No wonder why there is a tale with " Never go late game with SEA teams because that is where they prosper and play their best dota " and it's true.

I think Lorenof uses Pango to be a good initiator, always using his combo skills correctly which can help make the team stronger.

G2 vs LGD Gaming match on map 3 was really very interesting, almost G2 could beat LGD again, but I admit that Shiro and Echo are reliable players who are able to take advantage of every moment properly.

Only the first series (Mouz vs. Virtus.pro) ended so far with Mouz winning 2-0 to spoil our over tickets.

Virtus.pro almost had the second map under their control but their Puck made a few costly mistakes by dying quickly and it helped Mouz dismantle the fight in their favor and then transition to the objectives for the win.

I hope the next series doesn't disappoint since LGD looked okay against IG yesterday.

Well, that concludes the 3 days of the play in for this Riyadh Masters. Two Chinese teams are out, Azure Ray and the last one for this day is G2 x IG. We still have some decider games happening right now. The first one was with Virtus.Pro and MOUZ but then MOUZ won.
The last one is with nouns and LGD Gaming and LGD Gaming took the first map. I am confused though by this decider but then, most teams for the group stage are all set.

yup,VP were favorites i certainly didnt expect them to lose  0-2 like this,

Nouns had a 18k lead in map 2 but gave it all back to lgd and then took it back again

That second game was probably one of the longest games we've had so far, and i'm annoyed LGD spoiled my other ticket to end the day on a loss.  '

There are no matches for a few days, but we get to see which teams will be put in Groups A and B later today. So far, it's looking like Group A is the "group of death" with Falcons, Spirit, and Gladiators these three are the teams you don't want to meet. Group B seems less scary with BB, Liquid, Tundra, and Xtreme, I think Xtreme is the only tough team out of the four unless they suddenly go against the meta like the other Chinese teams.

Too much hope for VP to be able to provide resistance for at least 1 map turned out not to be as expected with VP performance being weaker than before.

The annoying part is getting teased twice in a row by these teams, anyway, it's fine it only pushed me back a bit since I got to win a few tickets from the play-ins.

Also, the groups are out with Group A getting more stacked with Blacklist Rivalry, Aurora and Heroic added in there while Group B only got easier with beastcoast, Mouz, and PSG.Quest. The latter don't have much experience on the international stage so I feel like they'd easily get stomped by the other four teams.
