401  Economy / Economics / Re: How many people realise that... on: November 03, 2015, 08:03:22 AM
Some will choose right, some will choose wrong but at the end of the day we'll still be here and Bitcoin will prevail.

No doubt it will prevail, but we can make the process faster just by holding (and speding Bitcoin directly for purchasing). That's the spirit I'm talking about, do something for the world just by holding it.
402  Economy / Economics / Re: How many people realise that... on: November 03, 2015, 08:00:01 AM
Was waiting for this board to achieve equilibrium with the BTC-E trollbox, and that day has finally come.

LOL you made me laugh hard. WTF, I am HODLER, I admit it. Wink And I really do enjoy praising Bitcoin, but really if you believe I'm not here for profit only, I see Bitcoin's healing potential for the fucked up world.
403  Economy / Economics / How many people realise that... on: November 02, 2015, 09:44:43 PM
...if we all hold our coins, we can raise the price to unimaginable heights, effectively fuelling mainstream massive adoption. Bitcoin is good enough, scaling problems will be solved, all we have to do is HODL!!! Who said price/market cap are  not important?! It's MOST IMPORTANT factor of adoption, the higher it gets, the more people are interested joining in and realising what is the Bitcoin revolution. No matter the mandatory price drop afterwards, people are getting in mostly because it's profitable!

Right now we have a good chance to maintain this rise if we act right, and this so far may be 4th bubble. If you ask me - it's hugely overdue.
404  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people REALLY use bitcoin on: November 02, 2015, 06:41:47 AM
world population: ~7 billion
tech population: ~2.5 billion
geek population: ~100 million
bitcon-population: ~1 million

that's my view, and there's plenty of room for growth.
405  Economy / Speculation / Re: This price rise is the real deal on: October 29, 2015, 07:37:27 AM
You're not wrong, but jeez, what is this obsession from everyone on this forum about calling other people "sheep", "sheeple", "uneducated" et cetera. Just like the world economy isn't going to collapse tomorrow, not everyone who doesn't have BTC is a "sheep". It's like the gold bugs who are obsessive.

Sheeple are the ones that are unable to see and dismiss the importance of Bitcoin, not the ones that are not having it. World economy collapse? It's just around the corner, maybe even tomorrow.
406  Economy / Speculation / Re: Dangerous position on: October 28, 2015, 11:12:44 PM
As a store of value, and that's the most important function of Bitcoin, 7 tps/s is not much of a problem which must be solved soon, some way or another. So you're simply FUDding because you probably sold your portion, right?
407  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin CEO spent stolen funds to Buy Sex on: October 28, 2015, 06:44:15 PM
The journalist who came with "Bitcoin CEO" deserves his head chopped off. I would gladly do it.
408  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is about to be $5K-$8K ++ on: October 27, 2015, 09:21:08 PM

With an available supply of 14,771,150 BTC it takes $4,351,964,840 to yield a price of $ 294.63. To move the price to $8k where are all of these extra billions coming from. Tens of extra billions. You know something we don't?

Bitcoin is over-pumped as it is.

Tens of extra billions are dimes for world economy when you realise the significance of the most financially disruptive and revolutionary technology we have, after Internet. Bitcoin @ 5-6K USD, easily. And fairly soon, I give it most 1 year timeframe.
409  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: In 2015, faucets are bad for bitcoin on: October 27, 2015, 09:18:15 PM
Faucets are hurting bitcoin by making some people believing you can get it while doing nothing sitting in your home. No, BTC isn't like that, and it shouldn't be any easier to get than any fiat currency.

Actually, one who really tries to get the most of faucets, and wait for next bubble can make I guess fairly good amount of money. So I don't see how faucets can be bad for Bitcoin.
410  Economy / Speculation / Re: [POLL] Are we going to the moon again? on: October 26, 2015, 08:01:33 PM
where's 120k option?
411  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin 'real money' to you? on: October 25, 2015, 05:56:46 PM
It's the most REAL god damn form of money ever to be seen in the history of mankind. How can it not be real money? All other forms of money until now have been shit, now thanks to technology, we can finally make that ideal form of money true. The fact everyone using this yet it's because most people are idiotic sheep, so we will need one decade or two.

you nailed it, thanks.
412  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin 'real money' to you? on: October 25, 2015, 07:26:24 AM
Bitcoin is best form of money in history, you may even say it's the ONLY form of money. Fiat is fraud, gold is not easy divisible for payments.
413  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Drugs, Fraud, Porn, Gambling, Murder, Sex and now Ransom on: October 22, 2015, 09:27:42 AM
Meanwhile, back in the conventional markets - BitPay lays off 600 due to low volume at merchants.

it's more like ... 6?
414  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN IS BETTER THAN WESTERN UNION ? on: October 22, 2015, 08:50:06 AM
Bitcoin is far better than any form of money in history.
415  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Who will win WW3? on: October 21, 2015, 06:01:10 AM
Stop arguing that nuclear war will be the end of the world. 2474 Nukes detonated already, some of them very huge.

reality check. if it starts nuking in ww3 we're doomed, end of story.
416  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How we help Bitcoin ? on: October 20, 2015, 09:15:29 AM
Talk to your friends about financial revolution, convert to Bitcoin as much as you can from your monthly salary and spend it online purchasing some goods that you need. That would be really enough if done massively.
417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitshares Cooperation with the Chinese Communists / Corporate Fascists on: October 19, 2015, 01:01:44 PM
First post is a complete bullshit. Thanks.
418  Economy / Speculation / Re: new highs possible only after memory fades on: October 19, 2015, 12:55:30 PM
So you define the success bitcoin can have by it going through a speculative bubble. How sad.

Price of BTC is in direct relation to mass adoption, which we all want. So price-talk isn't that insensible.
419  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin better that fiat? on: October 15, 2015, 08:48:06 AM
if bitcoins become widely accepted, that would make them a useable form of money if you're able to trade it for something you want.
It's all a matter of perception.

Actually it is widely accepted right now. I don't believe there is any good that you cannot buy with Bitcoin these days on the Internet. And more, even if you find some stuff you cannot buy with it, there's something like Xapo VISA debit card, works flawlessly, that's my experience. It's widely accepted yet there are not much customers actually using it and that will change slowly.
420  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin better that fiat? on: October 15, 2015, 08:37:09 AM
This always comes pretty handy when you are trying to show someone why Bitcoin is the best form of money in the history of mankind:

The only reason Bitcoin isn't the 1# currency and store of value is because it lacks the marketing that violence backed currencies have. Gold has just centuries of existence and a huge network effect. Bitcoin is better money period, it's not even an argument.

Thanks pereira, it really is as simple as that, "it's not even an argument". We just need time to see Bitcoin really gets massively adopted. It's because we don't have government/fiat mafia support, and not just that, they are enemies of people, enemies of freedom, we can expect more attacks and even more brainwashed sheeple saying Bitcoin is fraud, ponzi and other shit.
