405  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Hive OS - new Linux GPU mining platform on: December 28, 2017, 10:15:44 PM
just asking to use miningrigrentals for a pool can I just erase one of the pools already there and add it or can u add miningrigrentals for one of the pools
i'm not familiar with miningrigrentals.com, but as understand you should point your rig to their pool. Then yes, you can do it, you can setup any pool on Hive.
ThankYou just wanted to make sure I can edit the the pools you have so I'm going to check out your vids and pop this os on one of my rigs thanks for the help
406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Hive OS - new Linux GPU mining platform on: December 28, 2017, 08:05:57 PM
Just one question how do I add miningrigrentals I've been using them cause I can still mine certain coins and when my rigs get rented the buyer has a option to pay btc, eth, or ltc and lately ppl have been paying with ltc which the fees are a lot lower thats why I like them
Sorry, don't understand what's is required from hive os... To accept LTC as payment?

What size usb is needed to run Hive OS I want to give it a shoot I'm looking for something life this for my amd rigs I tried pimp, ethos, and smos I'm currently running pxa fork of nvOS for my nvidia and love it but checking out hive looks good for my amd rigs

As small as 8gb required. Though usb flash drives are more for testing as die, you'd want to use SSD in production.
Thank You I'm going to burn a 16gb 3.0 just to play your os look good so most likely going with SSD

any hero member can confirm this is legit?
I will vouch for poisonxa and his fork of nvOC again I had some issues that he was willing to team viewer into my rig and fix and not only is this just about un heard of in crypto land without someone wanting to charge you but he took the time out on Christmas to do it I would of waited but he said no problem lets fix it I also turned the donation on to help return the favor now if I could get rid of my amd rigs and switch them to nvidia I would put this os on all my rigs also I don't think fullzero and the other guys on the original nvOC would put his fork on the nvOC website for download if there was a problem

No I tried to disable updates and it worked for awhile now it seems to be doing it again I'm using wtm switcher zen, btg, lbc I think when it switches to lbc is when it starts saying no miner available the reason I think this is when it starts doing it I look at 1bash in home and lbc is the chosen coin

edit: I burnt the latest version is what its updating from also it seems to delete 1bash and 8coins so I can't edit them there still in m1 but missing from other drive
