401  Economy / Economics / Re: Next generation money on: July 13, 2016, 06:22:06 PM
Well, I think digital money will be the only next-generation money. I think bitcoin will not be in the shape of the coin again, but with the development of technology, bitcoin will be made easier than ever before. transactions will become easier with the development of technology and I think bitcoin will become the first choice for the development of

The Chinese government is developing the digital Yuan. It will reduce the cost of issuing and managing money.
402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Why is Ethereum actually the only cryptocurrency worth GPU mining? on: July 13, 2016, 05:54:26 PM
I heard the SIAcoin is most profitable to mine at the moment. But the Etheruem difficulty  is still rising.
403  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way to turn 2BTC into 4BTC on: July 13, 2016, 05:47:03 PM
You can do trading with this 2 btc balance on localbitcoins.com and it is a secure way of Growing Money.....

I thought there is a limit you can trade in the localbitcoins. If it is too much, you will have to apply for a money transmitter license.

Agree maybe we have to acceptt that the concept of DAO is still not feasible. I also understand the point of the DAO hacker. Using a programmed back door cannot be punished. We have also to consider that the flaw was known at least for some weeks.

I am not sure about that. If the hacker identifies himself, there could be some kind of law suit against him.
using a programed back door is absolutely  punishable in most jurisdictions. in addition his actions were contrary to the benefit of the DAO as whole and should not be allowed to stand.
as far as the shorting of eth on exchanges (where the real money was made) not sure if that's regulated in so far as things like that go...so probably not punishable.

is hf happening on 15th?

Hacking back doors to get in systems is punishable but in this case it was a backdoor in a contract. So if you consider that the contract was created liked that then how one get punished to just use the contract as initially programmed. Interesting case. But if the hack is punishable than what about the punishment of a rollback which is against the system as a hole. My head is smoking..😊

The intention of the hacker is to still the money. That is the difference. It is an punishable offence.

hmm are we so sure of that ? he/she could have taken all the ether in the doa. he/she wasnt stoped! he/she just stoped after 3.6 mill .
if he/she was just  after the money why not take all ?
i really think that "taker " didnt believe it would be posible to take them so easy and on the way he/she got scruple.

absolutely wrong, hacker intent was to steal...and most likely not by draining DAO as they knew they wouldn't be able to actually withdraw, but by causing panic and shorting ether on bitfinex.

That could be the reason the hacker did not identify himself. Otherwise he will sent to prison for stealing $60 m.
405  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Becoming a Global Currency on: July 13, 2016, 05:41:59 PM
It wont be accepted as a global currency until some regulations are made. But digital currencies will be the future but not very soon as we expect. Bitcoin will force governments to take digital currency right away.
Don't expect some regulation because it is not close to happening now, the fact that bitcoin is anonymous it will not pass any law by the government due to KYC Policy.

I think the banks will adopt the bitcoin in the future, so your money trace will be identified by the banks and the governments.
406  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Becoming a Global Currency on: July 12, 2016, 04:44:14 PM
For the first time, when I look at the offers on LocalBitcoins.com, there are a half-dozen currencies ahead of the US dollar, offering a higher price for Bitcoin than US dollar users.

Euros, South African Rands, New Zealand Dollars, Hong Kong Dollars, Polish Zloty, Malaysian Ringgits.

It is no longer just the US, EU or even China driving adoption.  There is a market for Bitcoins in major countries all over the world.

I have seen many deals outside US but when you compare the price between usd and eur then you will find that the difference is very high. Bitcoins is going global in every country.
Bitcoin is really a global currency but it's different in USD because bitcoin is only used in small scale of every country that using it while USD is widely used all-over the world and every country using USD in big scale.

I have paid some phone bills for my relatives in another country with the bitcoin. So it is an internal currency.
407  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way to turn 2BTC into 4BTC on: July 12, 2016, 04:43:07 PM
It's not easy, such profit is usually made with high-risk operations, like trading/holding altcoins.

Best way to tranform 2 btc into 4 is to put everything on primedice xD

You'll have nearly 50%chance to win what you want!

I think you have 49% chance to win and 51% chance to lose. If you play long enough, you will lose.

The next financial crisis could happen next year when the Britain declares Euro exit and financial institutions move out of UK.

Keep calm, bottom not reached yet.

You have until the fork at least. No one knows what mayhem is going down on that faithful day; I'd put in a really low bid (crash bid low) or play it by ear if you really want to invest in this. Good luck, and be careful.

I think the price of Ethereum will drift for a few more days at least until the fork. Then it will find a direction.

There is no concrete decision about the hard fork yet. The Ethereum community is still discussing about that.

There is no need for the hacker to return the funds. We will just take it away from him. I do not believe his words to return the funds.
413  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BREAKING NEWS: DAO Attacker Identified!! on: July 10, 2016, 11:15:59 AM
Wow nice sources and proof there OP!

Is there any news about the arrest of the DAO attacker? It seems nobody report the police and catch the thief.
414  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: R9 Nano Modded Rom on: June 30, 2016, 03:57:46 PM
Ok.

New rom release, tighter timings.

Tests have been done on 15.12 drivers which i find are the overall best drivers available.
Also done a test on 16.4.1 and that's also ok.

16.1.1 & 16.6.* not. So if you have these, speed won't be the same.

Before, per card @ core 800 , speed Ethereum: 22Mh
Now, 23.5Mh.

Power draw, exactly the same.

Included a few roms in the package.

Link: -Here-

Greetings!

Thanks for sharing. I run the miner at 900/260 MHz, hash rate is 26.4MHz. I changed to the latest BIOS. There is no difference.

How are the memory straps? Is that every 125 MHz or something else?

250-400-500 with latest rom

So the 300 and 260 will use the same memory strap. When I change the frequency to 900/300 instead of 900/260, the hash rate will be 25MH/s instead of 26.4. Quite strange.

Yeah that's because you're using 900 as core clock.. timing changes when using that core clock..

Is that timing change due to the core frequency happens only in the Nano graphics cards? 260 and 300 are within 250-400.
415  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: R.I.P Ethereum - The Pre-Mined ScamCoin is dead on: June 19, 2016, 01:18:40 PM
I would like to point out Ethereum wasn't hacked. The DAO had an exploit in it's smart contract  which was on ethereums blockchain, was which is like the counterparty for bitcoin in case you didn't  know...so all these people boasting about ethereum death don't know shit lol it's like saying bitcoin failed because a counterparty had a huge hack, because they share a blockchain...btw you guys make Btc look bad. I'll  say it like I said about lisk  if you are SOOOO much better than ethereum get their cock out of you flapper. I support all of crypto

That is a theft by exploiting the loophole. It is not the intent of the counterparty to give away the money like that.
416  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should Ethereum and DAO be bought now? on: June 19, 2016, 12:55:40 PM
I am thinking that these are one of the lower prices we are seeing as a result of rush dump and there should be a price correction soon - specially for DAO which will most likely be hard forked and so we would get a lot of Ethereum.

Any other opinions?

How about you invest your hard earned BTC in something that you understand at least to some extend?

ETH can very well crash below 0.01 especially if BTC keeps going up and breaks $1k.

You are so optimistic, you think the Etheruem price could be kept abovve $10. But it is very difficult to say about the price.
417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BREAKING NEWS: DAO Attacker Identified!! on: June 19, 2016, 12:54:09 PM
Looks like the guy is allegedly bribing miners to refuse any sort of fork. If that's the case, they won't be able to get anything from him outside of court. This is bad news for Ethereum. Terrible, even. Regardless of the outcome, Ethereum is going to be hurt in the longrun, and DAO is as good as dead.

Good riddance, along with the whole ethereum cocept it's one of the dumbest ideas every dreamt up by yet another bunch of talentless, greedy opportunists.

If he gives most of the coins to the miners, it will incentivise the many people to become the miners in the next few weeks.
418  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum mining still profitable? on: June 11, 2016, 06:28:12 AM
when it goes proof of stake it will pretty much stay below 10 forever.

Is there a place we can petition so that the developers know we want to keep the PoW as they promised when the Ethereum first came out?

The best method is just to sell the Ethereum and make the price lower, then the developers will notice that.
419  Economy / Speculation / Re: Since we know when Bitcoin will half, saying Bitcoin will go up is nuts! on: May 28, 2016, 07:37:59 AM
If BTC were to randomly half out of no where - then yeah that would 100% make BTC price go up no doubt!

But since we know well ahead of time when it happens people already prepare.

Some people have already bought days, weeks and months ago in preparation - why do you think BTC has gone up like it did recently?

In that case the only reason BTC would rise significantly AFTER the halving would be from this created hype.

In any case, celebrate! HYPE THAT SHIT!
It is the hype that surrounds halving which is expected to push up prices.Halving will get lots of media attention too and that brings more people to bitcoin. This sudden interest in bitcoin also increase its price and hence it's price

The halving will not get media attention as much as the price rise. We need price rise before halving.
420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum mining still profitable? on: May 13, 2016, 07:05:16 AM
Hashrate is taking a HUGE jump today  Shocked Its reporting 2900 mh so a maybe a new farm went online or upgrades completed on a old one.

I have my hardware paid for now and ive been slowly ordering some parts to build a new budget rig, just mobo, cables and stuff I have extra cpu's and psu's.  But im starting to reconsider if I should really jump in with some new gpus the way difficulty is going.  In a month there might be very very little profit if this trend continues, say in a month we hit 4'000 gh then the profit will be slim and from there how much further will the hash get pushed.

The difficulty is rising too fast, in a few months, only the new efficient GPU will make profit, but not necessary ROI.
