so are there any news how to unlock the traders lounge? did i miss something?

thx in advance

You will need 27000 coins if you want that now. Later in the week after the wallet update the number will be about half that.

At that point the culling would be in progress, so I suspect the exchange action would actually take the back seat to the off market trading - both dark pool and public. The OP does not connect the dots on this but if you do the math, it is beautifully orchestrated.

The Culling is going top make some people some serious money. Volumes will far exceed exchange during those 30 days. The possibility to flip large blocks multiple times  - especially if you have a 30 day strategy - is absolutely there. My guess is that you will also see multiple traders aligning for plays. It will be a free for all.

Hi Everyone

We have completed the analysis of the the coin supply with respect to the burns of both the unsold coins from ICO and the coins sold into the buy wall, also pledged to be burned. As promised, the minimum numbers needed for both Whale Lounge and Trader Lounge are being adjusted.

The adjustment will technically not take effect until the wallet update later this next week. However for everyone applying for Lounge access, please go by these new numbers when calculating which lounge you are qualifying for.

The levels are somewhat lower than before, both because of the reduced coin supply, but also because - after analyzing the distribution - we are aiming at an inclusive strategy for moving as many Circuits holders into one of the two lounges as possible.

The adjusted requirements for Whale Lounge and Trader Lounge are as follows:

Trader Lounge: 11,000 Circuits
Whale Lounge: 32,500 Circuits

If you have not already sent in your registration, please do so, with qualifying address holding the required amount of coins for the desired Lounge level.

CC

Great news. By my math that's about 0.5% for the Traders and 1.5% for the Whales. Its much more realistic then the 1% and 3% respectively that it was set at. Are we still expecting an announcement tomorrow about the bittrex listing?

Nice. Puts me in reach of Whale Lounge.

Good move devs. Makes the coin more inclusive and more social on the Trader's Lounge, and will lead to better  diversity and more interesting financial opportunities in the Whale Lounge.

Just to bump the question previously asked: possible to switch over to disposable mail addresses once the Slack is set up? I believe that will lead to a much better situation, privacy wise.

Much talk of this Bob Surplus fellow.

People always get entranced by shiny pretty things.

Meanwhile, the charts and price action are showing just one thing: accumulation.

Enough said.

Wise words indeed.

What I saw on the charts today is one or more individuals assiduously buying up between 6 & 8, and luring small dumps by putting bids just above. Shaking apples from the tree.

So enjoyable to watch having gotten in at 5500.

I am looking forward to striking up some conversations with these guys in the Whale Lounge. It will be interesting indeed.

I have a question about the Lounge registrations. If indeed Slack is being used i would propose some system of disposable email addresses, so that those who wish to have their email address private can still participate.
406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CryptoCircuits (CIRC) 1st vDPOS In-wallet Bots and Trading, Lounges +more on: June 24, 2015, 04:50:45 PM
I am getting just amazing stake. I am loving this coin.  Don't understand the sour talk but hey to each his own ! : -)

Same here. My wallets staking like a boss and the traders lounge is unlocked and looks pretty cool too.

Why do you mean the traders lounge looks pretty cool? I get the following:

The server can not find the requested page:

www.cryptocircuits.com/panel2/ (port 443)
Please forward this error screen to www.cryptocircuits.com's WebMaster.

Also, since you are all pros/boss of staking here, how are you guys doing exactly? I have all in one address, mine a few blocks, and then have to wait another age time to mine again. it always get split with a small portion of the stake and a bigger one (90%), so that gives me 2 mines blocks per age period. What are the tricks?

Working for me.

When the price doubles or triples on bittrex, that will be all the marketing needed. ;-)

If not then there is this  Wink

Hi Everyone

Just a quick post to let everyone know about some live programming upcoming in the wallet in the After Dark lounge. 4pm est Wednesday.

DJ Rick will be hosting a live show with some very special guests. There will be opportunities for call in, Thursday Elliassen will be on hand, and - depending on the time zones lining up correctly - Barakus will be dropping by to give an update on the Circuits network, current DPOS statistics and more.

Callers and chat participants will have the opportunity to claim special giveaway rewards of Circuits. A dedicated pot of 5000 Circuits has been established for call-in participants, including best question, best suggestion, and two twitter categories: the best tweet about the show during the next 20 hrs, and the best tweet in support of the upcoming Bittrex listing.

Feel free to post questions in the thread, music requests & more. DJ Rick will be monitoring this thread and he loves input. Listen to it live in your Circuits wallet just 22 hrs from now : -)

It is quite likely we will see a nice upwards spike with placement on Bittrex / Cryptsy. So many coins are moving off the exchanges right now into wallets toget the DPOS that the supply will be thin. The pressure will begin already the next few days on CCEX as this begins to happen, and people realize this dynamic.

TL/DR get these 5.x priced coins while you can.

Kudos to the Circuits crew for a smooth process so far after ICO. I got some massive stake from the 1st round after I set up my wallet.

Still playing around with it, looking forward to the Slack invite process. Glad to see it is a well-thought out system to keep fakers out of the lounges. Should be some good quality conversation in there. Looking forward to meeting some of you guys!

I said 15 hrs from now. Working vDPOS. 1 btc bet. You on?

So tired of these wannabes and their cheap trash talk fud.

I never said vDPOS will not be functional.
You really need to read before posting.

THIS is what i said:

What a joke this 'coin'.

You've implented a browser in the wallet. Big deal.
That's like implenting a 'hello world' popup in your first application.

From a coder's point of view, you achieved nothing.
I would never trust a stream inside my wallet to start with.
One infected stream by you guys, and gone are the coins.

Secondly, why ya talk like some 15yr old punk ass nigga??
Anything but professional.

Why you need to get 150BTC for this thing?
Your 'developers' get paid what? 1000$/hour or what?! For what? Implenting a browser?
Variable Dpos? Yeah. That takes a few lines of code and a good hour work.

Once again, my forecast is many people crying after a week, leaving crypto forever.
Stop this scam coins, and stop them now please.

So. You claim it is a scam coin but are unwilling to wager on the basic tech being delivered.

Some other guy offered you a bet, that you could not have it coded in "a few lines and a good hour work". (Your exact claim - your exact words)

You have avoided every challenge offered in the past three pages of this thread. Would have been good money for you if you actually believed your own words -  and yet you still spew endless fud.

GTFO

Hmmm. ICO nears completion and people show up claiming "vaporware". I wonder if "Piston Honda" will show up to gracefully apologize for his words in about 10 hours if there is actually working vDPOS etc in the wallet? Where I come from, people would be saying he'll be eating his words with a fork & spoon.

I have the admitted advantage of having figured out who the vDPOS dev is. So I am 100% sure we are a few hrs away from crypto's 1st working vDPOS and have taken my market position accordingly. All you fudders saying quote me in July, or two weeks from now - - I am unimpressed.

Quote me 15 hrs from now.

412  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CryptoCircuits (CIRCUITS) [1st w/ vDPOS] ICO is now LIVE on CCEX. on: June 20, 2015, 08:31:58 AM
What (shock) coins pay to get on trex?

You should not be shocked. If a coin pays, I think its 10 btc they can be added to bittrex as a sponsored coin.
This coin should do that with some of the ico money.

Its 3 btc, not a whole lot. For a lean start-up however, it is a cost. Better if everybody here tweets and encourages trex to add for free. They will add coins with good community support.

How is this a lean start up with a 150 btc ico? While on the subject, what is the ico money to be used for?

Sit down and do some math. Just the dev work on the vDPOS and unlocking panels is probably a couple weeks worth of coding and debugging where all devs need to be involved. Then you have to to a test net, maybe go through a couple dozen wallet builds in windows alone. There is hashing to rent, server set up. Then there is wallet GUI design. Then the GUI has to be ported into the final build and tested again. Same process for Mac and Linux. Then there is the communications -  all the devs agreeing on the OP, what the final feature set will be, the final roadmap, etc.  Then all that has to be laid out in graphics and a well written presentation.

So that is well over a hundred hours work, probably close to two hundred hours spread across five - six people. And you have not begun to pay the exchanges their fees, build the website, or a half dozen other needed things. And you still have a months of dev work to come.

These guys have families, bills to pay. We as speculators stand to make money off of staking and trading the coin they create. Seems a bit silly to me to proclaim out of thin air that 150 is somehow an excessive budget for a project this size.

Well spoken.

If and when it gets onto Bittrex things will get crazy.People will have to choose between trading and missing out on the DPOS staking. Most likely scenario is most people sitting tight & staking hard, and the scarcity of coins on the exchange will mean upward price pressure.

This is why it seems bizarre to me the people who say " I will will wait until after ICO for cheap coins ".  Good luck with that.

I listened to the interview with  Thursday a second time through. I am seeing some connections between the branded chat rooms and the social marketing program. Essentially I believe one of the methods they are aiming at is using different unlocking functions according to Oauth by group, not just by individual -  and perhaps also gauging a leader / Whale  lounge figure by how many follows he has inside and outside of the system. Another way of doing what Viral was calling a subnode - but this one entirely with the community architecture of the wallet.

One thing was clear to me listening to the interview - there is a lot going on that did not get talked about. For whatever reason, the interviewer did not ask follow up questions  -even when the guy was saying some pretty remarkable stuff.

This is nothing but a clone of Viral.

Yes of course you are right. The devs have created a breakthrough wallet with never-before used Varialble DPOS staking and some pretty advanced unlocking panel technology. It sounds exactly like Viral to me.

/end sarcasm/
416  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CryptoCircuits (CIRCUITS) [1st w/ vDPOS][Unlock Features][Revenue Streams] on: June 16, 2015, 12:10:17 PM
TLDR.

Can someone give me a short synopsis on what this coin's about?

I might be wrong but i bet one of the devs bolted from the Viral team and they are keeping it quiet. Some of the revenue stream stuff looks similar, but better thought out.

The whole roadmap leads towards revenue streams from social media but it is sort of hidden. It looks like they are going to allow Whales to establish private trading rooms, escrow offers, that sort of thing. There is some sort of live audio video in-wallet video channel focusing on crypto that is going to have a lot of different guests for different coins, maube pump groups? devs? and it all ends up with monetizing both  the multimedia channels and the social networks. But not spam like Viral. Higher end stuff.

The there's the "Culling". I am still wrapping my head around that.
417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CryptoCircuits (CIRCUITS) [1st w/ vDPOS][Unlock Features][Revenue Streams] on: June 16, 2015, 07:48:41 AM
Very smart. I am starting to see the contours here. Live in-wallet audio and video programming with guests from many different coins = exposure across many different communities. This fits in with the goal of attracting traders and investors from different walks of crypto. Let the Whales have a say in the programming = heavier weight and even better guests. Then coordinate the programming with the social media advertising to offer multi-channel product placement packages to advertisers across an extremely attractive demographic, with revenue streams flowing in to a hardcore "culled" community.  Cha-ching.

You guys should have let me help with the ANN. Or maybe you are trying to keep this quiet?

418  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you expect from the halving in 2016? on: June 16, 2015, 07:40:08 AM
If anything the recent Litecoin rise should reflect on the argument about the halving being priced in already for BTC.
419  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CryptoCircuits (CIRCUITS) [1st w/ vDPOS][Unlock Features][Revenue Streams] on: June 15, 2015, 11:44:03 AM
Quote
The Culling

By Phase 3, we have built a community of skilled, active traders and investors who have arrived from many parts of the crypto landscape.  Many of these traders and community members have established brands and escrow reputations within the CryptoCircuits ecosystem - through their participation in the various Slack rooms, being on-air in After Dark, and in their trading, teaching, and escrow dealings within the community. We have a strong network of branded escrow agents within Circuits - and now these escrow agents  step forward to escrow The Culling.

The Culling is a 30 day period where any investor can post via Whale level escrow an offer to buy or sell any amount of Circuits. There is one simple rule: once an offer is posted and escrow established, anyone can propose the opposite of the offer, and the agreement is immediately effectuated.

Example: Sam offers to buy 2000 Circuits for 2 btc. He places both 2 BTC and 2000 circuits in escrow. Anyone can now immediately sell those Circuits to Sam - but anyone can also immediately demand 2000 Circuits from Sam at that exact price, and the sale is closed.

The result: a second phase price discovery that allows volatile, large scale,  yet completely fair transfer of Circuits to the sharpest traders and those who are intent on becoming the core holders of Circuits.

So only people with BTC and CIRC can take place in the culling? What if a new potential investor only hears about CIRC during the culling and wants to place bids. Will he be allowed?
I do love this idea though, its brilliant. With the way you set up the three phases CIRC will see a lot of attention and action both on the charts and on the thread over the coming months.

By my read, the Culling is all intramarket. You would need to have Circuits to participate. But once you have Circuits, it is an interesting mechanism to consolidate and increase
your holdings. Sort of Mexican standoff, winner takes all form of betting large blocks of Circuits.

And if you get large blocks of coins being moved, the escrows (Whale Lounge?) would be generating some nice fees. I guess both BTC and Circuits.
420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CryptoCircuits (CIRCUITS) [1st w/ vDPOS][Unlock Features][Revenue Streams] on: June 15, 2015, 08:21:25 AM
I have a question; I see that you are a Newbie (nothing wrong with that at all, don't get me wrong) and I am always curious about this:

You have developed a new and complicated coin saturated with features and plans for the future and this suggests that you must have some experience in this field. But, you are new to this forum which is a hub for all things alt, so where have you been and why have you just come to this forum. Where have you been active in altcoin scene before you just joined this forum?

This is the case with most new coins it seems, the devs come out of nowhere with what appears to be years of experience but have never been seen before on the biggest forum on the web. Where do they all come from?

I can see one case where this may be true. A member creates a new account to promote a new coins and wants to keep it separate from his "personal" account.

So, CryptoCircuits dev, are you on this Forum under a different name? If so, tell us...

You are correct, all of our team members are experienced devs who are currently leading successful coin projects. It's also true that some members of our other ventures would not agree with us partaking in the Circuits project. Within Crypto, many developers know each other well and sometimes we have new ideas for projects that either doesn't fit, or doesn't get approved of by our established teams. This is an opportunity for us to use pseudonyms and really achieve our dream coin (Circuits). Chances are, if you are close to a dev from a major crypto coin, then you may know who we are (If they choose to tell). For now, the pseudonyms allow us to work comfortably and effectively on Circuits without needing to get anyone elses approval. This is truly the future of crypto and our technology will be used on many coins to come.

Here is the snippet from our ANN explaining this:

About the Developers:

CryptoCircuits is a project bringing together a total of 4  top-tier developers. Each has been given wide latitude to pursue advances in their own creative work that were not possible in their main working environments.

Black - Responsible for inventing and building the advanced variable DPOS (vDPOS 2) staking functions and coding.

Robin - Our block chain specialist, responsible for the rigorous testing of the vDPOS 2 code and the various unlocking functions of the wallet. Robin has been responsible for a half a dozen QT wallets across various coins during the past year.

Thursday - Responsible for the social engineering of the CryptoCircuits community levels and the designed evolution of the community towards the Culling. Architect of the social marketing revenue modules and OAUTH system designs for Phase 2.

Barakus - Responsible for wallet GUI, graphics, user experience, wallet updates, exchange liaison and community leader.

Some of you may already know which devs are involved, as word does travel within crypto. The preference of the devs is to keep their involvement in the CryptoCircuits project low-key out of respect to their own communities.

Anyone done the math yet? how many btc to unlock Trader lounge? Whale lounge? And is this right, the Whales get to escrow trades and run group bots?

Yes, we have the information posted in the top section of our OP. Here is a snippet and thanks for your interest:

vDPOS Benefits:
Traders Lounge: This panel unlocks at staked weight of 1% of total coin supply (27,000 Circuits) - These users will benefit from 1% additional stake per block.
Whale Lounge: This panel unlocks at staking weight of 3% of total coin supply (81,000 Circuits) - These users will benefit from 3% additional stake per block.

- Barakus (CC)

I am sure you see the problem with this, it's all talk and no evidence. You can say anything you want as long as you don't have to back it up with verifiable facts.

I might be proven wrong but I believe you may be proven wrong. If these guys have cracked Variable DPOS that is a pretty solid step forward. Cheesy photoshop manipulation? That really does not fit with cracking a major crypto challenge. I am watching this with interest.
