401  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin Volatility A Bad Thing? on: December 27, 2017, 02:19:20 AM
It could be yes and it could be no depending upon your  approach. Some people find it hard to decide whether thay invest on a certain crypto or not because  of volatility and some are taking it as an advantage to loot more profits.
402  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Waiting for two weeks, no one confirmation! on: December 27, 2017, 02:10:42 AM
I've made a transaction of 33 dollars worth of BTC 14 days ago as of now with an abominable fee of 12 dollars and still no one confirmation! Preposterous! How long should I wait?

Aw that sucks, it was just a small amount but still didn't get  even at least  one confirmation?  But I think your  fee is enough, so maybe just wait for another  time  or days or add some fee if you have spare amount if coins. I didn't  experience this kind things even I used to pay small fees
403  Economy / Economics / Re: Why people scam on: December 27, 2017, 01:45:44 AM
There are a lot of people who are unemployed because there is no vacant in jobs and they need some money to sustain their basic needs that's why they are being forced to scam other people to earn money even though it is a bad thing. They are committing crimes even though they know the consequences.

Poverty triggers someone to commit crime, but there are also middle class types of people who commit  the same thing like scamming. It must be 💰 money, it was the main reason why they do those things. The greed and the desire of getting a huge amount of money in an easiest way are their motivation to scam people
404  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Unemployment on: December 25, 2017, 01:20:42 PM
combating unemployment is not an easy thing, every day unemployment is increasing a lot, the main cause is because the government is not serious in providing jobs.

They can't make jobs dude, instead they help people to find a job. In my country, job mismatched and unemployment are common problems maybe because of the populations and new technologies that replaced human jobs and maybe because the businesses/companies are too picky to hire employees.
405  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Airdrops Profitable? on: December 25, 2017, 12:54:23 PM
Hi everyone. I've tried participating in a couple of airdrops but haven't gotten any coins yet. For those of you who have, how do you go about making anything out of airdrops? Is it worthwhile or just the usual pump and dump?
Yes, airdrop save my daily life, and in airdrop I got bunch of money. Thanks to airdrop because without this I have no money that till now is waiting to receive in my wallet. I'm in the campaign of 4 months but till this time the payment is not yet calculated, so I try to join in airdrop, even the other is shit coin others are legit and trusted.

Wow, that was nice to hear. Cheesy
I also have a friend who also earned a lot through airdrops but he said that we must always do our own investigation before entering  a certain project,  bounty and airdrop to be exact.
406  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to motivate a person to work? on: December 25, 2017, 12:31:24 PM
I have no idea.

It seems some people can't wait to leave school and get a job etc. while others just hate working until they retire..

Same here,  I couldn't  find any idea to motivate those people, if they really love their job they won't  need anything else to motivate them.
Just salary is enough and their passion to do their job.
407  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should i buy ethereum with all of my money ? on: December 25, 2017, 11:13:53 AM
Yes, of course, that is a good idea now. Because as you know, ETH has recovered now after a long time reducing. So, you can buy it now and wait it reaches to $1000 in 2018. And i'm sure you can get big profit.

Yes,  indeed. If he had a huge amount of money to invest it can be doubled if he started to invest but just like what other  people stated on the previous posts,  to lessen the risk you should diversify your investment but I think the OP know about this kind of stuff, he might have make his own research  before posting here.
408  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you believe in aliens? on: December 25, 2017, 10:57:06 AM
aliens are beings that are not yet familiar or known by mankind. i believe that there are lots of species here in earth or even in outer space for us to find out

👽 yes.  Aliens are living organisms that could be found outside the 🌍 earth, it could be microorganisms like bacteria, or germs and it could be also an intelligent  being,  far more intelligent  or advanced  than humans
409  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Superstition on: December 25, 2017, 08:22:26 AM
Sometimes I do believe in superstition and gambling. As they say nothing will lost in you if you do. Its sometimes true. Oftentimes it somehow give you some kind of luck. I also believe in finding some signs etc. Its just like a thought or somehow a positive vibes to boost your confidence and courage.

In my case I just get my amulet of luck haha..  I'll put it in my pocket hoping to get more luck to win a game,  even though it looks weird I still used it. Even in exams,  lottery, I even put it as a decoration in the car to avoid accidents lol.
410  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Problem Gamblers here who are in Debt ? on: December 25, 2017, 08:12:32 AM
I am not a gambler, but I have a lot of debts and it affects the family financial. The things I do are always thinking positively, working hard, do my best, but do not repeating same mistakes and praying. Hopefully my life gets better.

The worst part is that gamblers who are addicted not only spoil their life but also their family life. They will borrow funds form friends or their families member for gambling and will lose that too amount. Now their family has to replay those debts which their children has gambled and lose out. This can affect the relationship as well if not controlled on time.

Agree mostly those gambler that has a debt the family mostly paying the debts because he cant repay it . Mostly of the gamblers will loan a money because thinking that they could get back their losses but end up lossing more. Mostly those addicted one is really a lot of debts because they cant mostly control their feelings on spending it , they only just bet and bet and hoping they could win big and not thinking their debts

I hate those kinds of people, those who will beg that I should let him borrow my money and he will return it immediately but after a month I learned  that he just used his borrowed  money to gamble and he got lose. Now,  he still got some guts to borrow again,  I'll definitely give him a hard punch in his face
411  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did you first hear about bitcoin? on: December 25, 2017, 07:52:56 AM
The first time I heard bitcoin was from social media facebook, there was a discussion about bitcoin and it made me curious to know bitcoin and found out bitcoin is a very fun and profitable thing.

Me too, I first heard it when I was browsing my groups and there is a man who opened a topic about the ways on how he earned money online and bitcoin was one of those ways that he said, at first, I thought that it was just a fake info or maybe a scam but when I started to search even further, I learned that I was wrong and I started my journey to earn bitcoins
412  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: will people lose intrest? on: December 25, 2017, 07:29:42 AM
Hello!

If bitcoin died do you think people will lose intrest in other cryptos aswell? which altcoin would you invest in if there were no bitcoin?

It actually depends on what will happen in the future. Of course, if given the scenario that the cryptocurrencies will lose there value then people will most definitely lose their interest. I'm quite positive that people will look for a coin that has the same characteristics like bitcoin because they still want to earn.

Maybe you are right but not all the people will most likely to engaged again in cryptocutrencies, there are some who might definitely get lose faith in cryptos. But I believed it won't gonna happen
413  Other / Politics & Society / Re: why most products now are made in China? can we trust these products? on: December 25, 2017, 03:57:26 AM
Right now the Chinese are making rice made with plastic and sending then to Africa for people to buy and eat, Products made by the Chinese in China are mostly of inferior quality. I wouldn't recommend their products one bit.

Plastic rice is just a myth. No one can make rice out of plastic. The so called "plastic rice" is actually heavily contaminated rice, which contains a lot of chemical and industrial residue. The chemicals present in it makes it looks like plastic.

And not all the Chinese products are bad in quality. Chinese companies such as Lennovo and Xiaomi are capable of producing high quality products.

Yes, based on what I've heard on the news, it would not be feasible to make synthetic rice, even if it could be possible to make it will takes a lot of expensive chemicals in which it would make the price much higher than ordinary rice. I also agree with you about the quality of some products made in china, it was really disappointing when other people see you are using a product made in china and they will judge or criticize you for the product you use.
414  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will you donate Bitcoin for the poor and needy? on: December 25, 2017, 01:53:58 AM
The point is to keep a bitcoin separately for donation to the poor. Donating a bitcoin directly will make sense if the receiver is aware of the functioning of bitcoin and Cryptocurrency. A poor and / or needy man can be sometimes an educated man or a knowledgeable man who is struggling to meet his ends. Bitcoin can otherwise be encashed and given to the poor.

It is always better to think big. I would rather create a trust or try to invest in healthcare or education of a poor child. All quick helps will not last long. Educating one child by spending a $25000 or more will reap great benefits to the society in comparison with feeding a whole lot of people once with the same money. Though it is not bad to feed but it is better to invest in a system that more than once continually feeds.

Yes I will donate Bitcoin to the poor and needy the way I feel is best useful for them. One percentage of the income can always be set aside for donation. After all, life is short and it is best to help as much as we can.

That is good idea Smiley However, it is better to convert BTC in US dollar or other local currency because poor people do not have access to Internet.

Yes it is, but I would rather use bitcoin to buy goods and donate it, I would not donate physical money or any other currencies because we can't be sure if they used it efficiently so, instead, we should donate things that they need for their everyday life. (Basic needs)
415  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is changing the world. on: December 25, 2017, 01:24:41 AM
Bitcoin is changing the way we live.
Bitcoin is changing the way we do business.
Bitcoin is changing the way we travel and save our money/assets.
Bitcoin and blockchain technology has open new doors for people to do business with one another without the intervention of third parties.

What do you make of this, huh? Share with us what you think. thanks Smiley

Somehow maybe, it still depend on the people on what they are going to do or to follow. People just choose what they think can make their life easier. As the time goes by, innovation of bitcoin also moved and it slowly develop in to somthing great. Kust when we look on its price now bitcoin popularity increases and it help lot of people as they continue earning it.
You need to know the reason and the source of money used to pump the price of Bitcoin.
Bitcoin does not automatic raise its value, its value pumped by the whale and of course, they need to have profit after all.

And they won't let the bitcoin turn into a zero value because it was obviously their one of the main source of profit in cryptocurrencies, so what I am saying is that let just ride on what they are doing and make our own path to exit or to make profit.  Bitcoin actually changed the way we invest and gives opportunity for the common people to lift up their current financial situation.
416  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin is the new era of currency? on: December 25, 2017, 01:11:25 AM
Since bitcoin is trending now world wide because you can easily earn this and it exchange in real cash. Is bitcoin the new value of currency in the internet? Is he the new money? Can we use it in buying foods and etc in the future?

I guess so. If we look closely to what is happening these days, technology plays a really big role in our everyday lives. With it's advancement from time to time, the mode of payment and the money that is utilized must evolve as well. This may be complicated through the FIAT system. However, with the use of bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, this is not hard to believe and to achieve.

Indeed, all we have to do is to accept this technology though still some of the countries were doubtful about how it works and it's uses but I believe that someday they might reconsider it and that will leads into the development of more secured bitcoin and altcoins in the future
417  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hold or Sell on: December 24, 2017, 03:25:00 PM
I prefer for holding but depends on the market and coin.I am holding some altcoins that will grow up very strong in the future. I believe that holding is better but we should not sell altcoins. I think all altcoins will be high price in the future. But i always prefer bitcoin for holding. bitcoin price increasing day by day. nowadays bitcoin price $19000 in the future bitcoin price will be higher.
Yes that is always profitable to you. Like you can say this as a better way to do such thing. Long term investing is always profitable, no doubt in it but still there are many people who have suffered such huge losses because they had held bitcoins for much long tome and then some big dip came and they become panic and sold everything. So they had loss. Hold until a better profit is achieved.

For those who hold bitcoins for so long must be obviously lucky and very responsible and persistent with their resolve. But holding should not be always mean that you are using it correctly or it was better than selling it.
418  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how risky is day trading? on: December 24, 2017, 01:49:27 PM
Its almost risky like gambling in the casino. And it depends whit which amount you trade. If you trade with very high amount, you can loose alot in just one second when you make a mistake!

There are two factors affecting day trades, it was luck and skills. Some people are really good at day trading but there are also times that they lose. It would definitely be like gambling, sometime you won but will always fail
419  Economy / Economics / Re: Cashless society on: December 24, 2017, 01:37:10 PM
Well its really interesting to be a cashless society like other country which they don't use cash intead its on their phone whenever they are just ask the cashless payment they will give their code or phone for you to sent payments even homeless hadnit i watch it in youtube i will tell here when i find it , When it comes in bitcoin too well it is good but it will need internet not unlike the one i watch but i wonder how they will create it.

I wish I could live in a developed country that currently practices being a cashless society, it would be more fun and convenient if we use digital currencies. I think both blockchain, cryptos and AI will make a big contributions with the future society.
420  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What do you think you can contribute to your City? on: December 24, 2017, 12:24:40 PM
I'll rather give the citizens free condoms (lol). I currently lived in a city where hiv growth has been proven to be the fastest among cities in our country based on the information given by the seminar I attended last month. I would like to spread hiv awareness to the teenager and the citizens so that they should know how to act properly and avoid becoming a victim.
