401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Buy these altcoins!!! on: November 08, 2019, 05:10:20 PM
The big ones are the safest and most obvious. General consensus is that ETH are "safer" long term investments, and I think quite lucrative for the coming year. If you stay within the top 10-20 on the Market at CoinMarketCap it'll be tough to lose money over the long term. I would keep most of it there. so since everything is in red, now is the time to buy literally any of the popular coins. I'll give some of my recent purchases: TRON, Monero and Neo. I personally am a big fan of them. Some deep alts that I really like and would recommend researching are Ethos, Airswap, APP Coin (APPC) and Request Network (REQ).
402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC bear market over????? on: November 08, 2019, 04:53:10 PM
I think highly unlikely. This is most likely a bear market rally, and an excellent opportunity to get short. Bitcoin should peak somewhere in the $8000-$10,000 range, then resume it's long term decline. In my opinion, price should actually be able to lift above the certain level for bear market to be pronounced over and that is $17,000 - $19,000. so bear market will be over when we see a new ATH. however If i were you, i would sell off a bit of my investment and save most of them for the price to go up further. remember each bear market is longer from the previous one.
403  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: i failed in day trading on: November 08, 2019, 04:32:58 PM
i have learn technical analysis and practicing it for many months now i am good at it , but when it comes to day trading stocks move as market moves if markets go up stocks go up and if market falls stocks fall where does technical analysis , how to do day trading

my question is about stocks not crypto
I also failed, but in a different sense. a couple of years ago for a few months I 'day traded' before work and actually made about $3000 for the year after all expenses. When I went back and calculated it, if I had simply held the stocks for that time period, I would have made about triple that because of trading fees and missed gains when I wasn't holding the stock. The market was simply on an upswing at that time and I thought I had figured out the system. Overall it was a great experience. I really learned and understood how and why the market does what it does. It taught me that day trading is not for me, but I got a few longer term strategies out of it that I still use today. Just on a much smaller scale and NOT as my sole source of income.
404  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we get people to use bitcoin as a currency? on: November 08, 2019, 03:31:56 PM
How can we get people to use bitcoin as a real currency and not just a quick way to get cash as a lot of people seem to do? When I say currency, I mean the literal definition of currency as something that is used as a medium of exchange.
Even online, there are only a few stores who are accepting it as payment.
You are right in that if bitcoin does not function well as a medium of exchange it is doomed to be a pure greater fool game, as gold and other things are now. but something can only be a medium of exchange if all parties making a transaction agree bitcoin has some value. since the value must be present first, i’d argue the value is primary.

In my opinion Bitcoin can be, if not crippled by developers, the BEST medium of exchange ever created. i think that in itself can greatly magnify the size and resiliency of the user base and therefore the value of a bitcoin. making bitcoin the best medium of exchange it can be should be the top priority of the developers and we can say that while acknowledging that it's primary purpose is a store of value not backed by debt and bank bailouts.
405  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: David Marcus Is Pro Bitcoin? :o on: November 08, 2019, 03:15:28 PM
That is why we happily keep buying and investing BTC to make even more money from it. However, if enough people repeat bitcoin is digital gold, maybe it'll come true? i think Bitcoin is about as close to gold as rai stones are close to gold. It's not a goddamn store of value, stop regurgitating that shit. i would to say him that gold is a commodity but Bitcoin is a currency. You don't have a digital commodity. A commodity that we know can be easily manipulated. You have a encrypted, peer to peer, decentralized digital currency. Saying bitcoin is digital gold gives everyone who has no idea what bitcoin is wrong.
406  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy now Bitcoin today on: November 08, 2019, 03:01:48 PM
I think $9400-$9500 proving to be hard to break for Bitcoin. So with that in mind is, It is currently much easier for Bitcoin to travel lower than higher. this mainly due to the Volume Profile. the volume trough at $8850 will ensure that price gets sucked into like a vacuum. Bitcoin likes to back fill these areas that are left open. next high volume node below is $8200, if price breaks down below $9000 expect mini-flash crash down to $8200. Next high volume node above is $10,000-$10100 maybe save that one for Dec newbies.
407  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: WHAT DOES A TRADER NEED? on: November 08, 2019, 02:51:48 PM
In my opinion handling stress and control emotions while trading is the most important thing a trader needs. to be a successful trader, you need to be financially as well as psychologically ready to bear the loss. When we lose money we become more emotional and invest more money in order to get the lost money back. But that is the time we have to control our emotions and should act as a disciplined trader to avoid such type of emotional trading. Hence If you are knowing what you are supposed to do or what you are doing then there is no stress and emotions. If I are trading without knowing what you are doing and trying the luck then one need to monitor them.
408  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to learn bitcoin trading? on: November 08, 2019, 02:35:08 PM
The more uncertain you become, the more likely you are to do nothing. And as you do nothing, opportunity passes you by. There are windows of time to act when speculating in the cryptocurrency markets. Miss them, and your edge slips away. The majority, the 90 percent, miss out because they look around for guidance from others. They visit chat rooms, twitter, facebook and anywhere to give them a clue.

However, the first thing you should do is to do some basic reading. there are many free and also paid websites where you can learn a thing or two about trading cryptocurreny. Then advance to the market analysis, monitor Google Trends to assess the level of hype and set up several Google Alerts configured to monitor the coin you’re interested in to stay up to date with the news and latest developments that influence cryptocurrency price. And then basically, yeh, buy low, sell high.
409  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to control your emotions while trading?👨🏼‍💻 on: November 08, 2019, 02:23:30 PM
There are so many traders that are trading well in a demo account but when they trade in live account, their performance gets affected. To be a successful trader, you need to be financially as well as psychologically ready to bear the loss.

I think keeping a journal of your trading activity will help you understand where you went wrong as well as what you did well. this will help you rationalize your decisions better and keep your emotions in check. Ultimately, if emotions drive your trade, and tend to drive it poorly, automate you strategy. the technologies available today provide for ease of development for simple to complex automated trading strategies.
410  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Sad news - Coinbase is leaking your information on: November 08, 2019, 06:41:59 AM
Old news, but If you think Coinbase and Facebook are the only ones doing this, sadly, you’re mistaken. They’re just the only ones in the news. It would not surprise me at all if Google, Amazon, Twitter, or any large corporation does the exact same things.

However, It's not okay that they passed the information to 3rd parties. Won't use it anymore, even though it doesn't matter already. So do they do the same with personal info? personally, i don’t see the big deal as long as that information is in no way directly related to personal identifiable information. sharing information, for example, about how often an app is opened on average across thousands of users for trend analysis info, it's no big deal. as long as no personal information is shared I have no problem.
411  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How we can introduce bitcoin to local people on: November 08, 2019, 06:21:41 AM
I tell them my opinion and advise them to make their own decision. I always tell people that cryptocurrency is most probably there to stay, but I wouldn't advise most people to buy it as an investor, only buy it as a user. If they ever come to the decision of holding or buying bitcoin speculatively for long term gains, then they need to come up with that decision entirely on their own.

Also, you can start with a question like Why does gold have value? then let them answer that and discuss it. this helps them understand scarcity and fungibility and you can draw the parallel to Bitcoin very easily. however, it is too complicated for the average user. the best way is to get them to purchase just a small amount and not worry about what price it's at, then show them how valuable it can be to transact and share money without the governments consent.
412  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Has Been Profitable for More Than 94% of its Existence on: November 08, 2019, 05:57:17 AM
Yes, considering history of bitcoin, bitcoin can be suggested as long term profitable investment. Based on past statistics, you can expect high return on long run like 4 to 6 years. it is a revolutionary currency that we have never ever seen before. In fact, it is the greatest form of currency humankind have invented. the ability to transact in a cheap, fast, secure, anonymous and immutable way is something we have never seen. Gold is a great store of value and has maintained it's purchasing power over the years, but it is valuable because we give it value. Bitcoin has much more potential due to the technology behind it. Bitcoin can be equally a great store of value with increasing adoption and price stability.
413  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC TO 35K$ IN 2020 on: November 07, 2019, 06:07:08 PM
The cryptocurrency market might experience a market optimism in 2020, as not only Bitcoin, but all the major cryptocurrencies might experience an upward shift. The governments and the central banks might embrace the digital currencies more than ever, hence the demand might be more. Bitcoin halving is going to happen in May 2020, wherein the miner reward will decrease from 12.5 to 6.25 BTC, and it effects to supply hugely.

I think, n the first quarter we can see a minor surge up to $20,000, after which it might jump up to $30,000 in the third quarter. By the end of the year, Bitcoin might be valued at $50,000-$60,000.
414  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should i buy ethereum with all of my money ? on: November 07, 2019, 05:53:14 PM
Depends how much you’re looking to invest. If it’s a large amount I would buy quarter to half now and dollar cost average the rest. Tether could crash the price of crypto but I expect that not to last too long. Buy each Saturday or Sunday depending which day dips. however, Personally, I think that now there is a once in a lifetime opportunity to invest all in ETH because the price is super low. ETH's price is gonna jump to sky highs after Constantinople fork and proof of stake implementation. By buying ETH now you have the opportunity to invest in promising ICOs by paying less money than you would do if ETH was up.
415  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I still get wealthy through Bitcoin? on: November 07, 2019, 05:30:01 PM
Yes, Of course. with decentralization comes instability, and cryptocurrencies are known for being highly volatile and unpredictable. Like most high-risk investments, this leaves opportunity for reaching ridiculous levels of wealth. For an example an investor who had $500 worth of bitcoin in 2010 would be worth at least couple of billions today. but there is no guaranteed way of getting rich by Bitcoin anymore. Seriously, it’s not too late to earn money with bitcoin but thinking that a few thousand dollars will get you there is not very realistic. Bitcoin price goes beyond it's expectation, and now you should buy and sell it to gain money from it.
416  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum goes to the top! on: November 07, 2019, 04:53:18 PM
Ethereum is a good cryptocurrency and showing good performance in the crypto market. It is one of the best cryptocurrency one can go for and its blockchain technology is widely utilized. But it is losing Dapps market to EOS and Tron. Ethereum is going through a rapid growth development stage right now and until they do significant improvements in their network nothing can be said for sure and. Cryptocurrencies grow and die quickly. No one can answer what’s going to happen next. but i think Ethereum is not a bad investment and for 2020 it will Be around $400 to $500. I hope that next year will be more positive for the whole market in genera.
417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: November 07, 2019, 04:37:11 PM
To be honest, Monero is almost the same with Bitcoin but it has a much smaller network than Bitcoin. the difference is that Monero is more private ,fungible and untraceable than Bitcoin. however monero has changed in incredible and positive ways, suffering none of the political blight which has afflicted Bitcoin. As long as this continues, the future for Monero is extremely bright. in my opinion, for investment best is 50% Bitcoin and 50% Altcoin and it's not so risky. Actually Monero still a good buy due to all the Altcoin is on dip right now. definitely a good buy before Alt season and buying it on higher price.
418  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: who else think Litecoin will go huge? on: November 07, 2019, 04:27:39 PM
For the very long term investment. Litecoin has so much potential and may soon implement MimbleWimble. But as crypto’s evolve LTC will be great for a means of exchange. Very fast transactions that will replace your current debit card with extremely low fees. that adoption could take more than few years. if you are a long term hodler, in fact most crypto out there will turn to gold if you hold long enough.

However, for the short term or next year there are better investments in the crypto market and I'll advice you not to put all your eggs in one basket. Bitcoin will dominate the market and this trend will continue as BTC gets closer and closer to the Halving, I would stick with BTC for short term. then take a look at some other altcoins, you can find more promising ones, like for example Vechain, TRON or Nano. Take your time, it’s good to be certain what is the best choice.
419  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin's future. on: November 07, 2019, 01:25:03 PM
There are specific alternative digital currencies i.e., altcoins which are doing far good than Bitcoin and has a bright and sparse future ahead of them. so it depends on what you mean by Altcoins. If you mean ripple, Ethereum and tether, then no. They’re too big to fail and well established to disappear completely. The other smaller coins though pose a much harder question as it relates to their longevity.

Almost all new altcoins have the same technologies and capabilities as top altcoins, and therefore these new altcoins will not be able to survive, but those new ones that appear with original and popular technologies will be able to survive and after some time will break into the top altcoins and the same thing i am looking in the project HOLO and Veilcoin.
420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin Cash Price Prediction 2020 on: November 07, 2019, 01:04:48 PM
Bitcoin cash got the popularity from the cryptoworld because of the hype it got when it was first released, I think that all the bitcoin clowns will go down because they have value only because there is Bitcoin in their name. they are not doing any good to the society; they are just basic cryptocurrency with no plans, there is no need for such cryptocurrency which is precisely like bitcoin because we already have bitcoin. Even Litecoin has no future.

The halvenings do happen pretty close to BCH. The thing is, the halvening won’t happen in a vacuum. World events, new innovations, Tether implosion, etc could all be happening at the same time. So price and economic incentives are impossible to predict at this point in time.
