401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Peso Digital - To help each other. 44000 Total supply Airdrop - DEX exchange.- on: June 25, 2017, 01:09:34 PM
This coin is badly needing an exchange, a good exchange, DEX is useless and can not be reliable, we need something good and better, kindly add this coin at an exchange that only needed some votes and we will vote for it.

Not many exchanges support Waves, the only positive option is Cryptopia, they charge around 2 BTCs to list.
Yobit is not a valid option. It would be the same or worse than DEX.-

Let's go for Cryptopia. It's a decent exchange and I too shall vote for Peso Digital to get listed there.

abandoned cryptocurrency projects like this one (and many others) make engagement in crypto look bad  Sad it also makes the technology it was built on, look bad.

too many worthless alts are being created to do nothing but prey on users' valuable coins, and after a dump and run stint by a (fly-by-night) dev, let the abandoned crypto pile up in exchanges! was there ever a project like collecting all the crypto trash and then turning them into something of value, payable to the one who got rid of their share of abandoned tokens/coins? that would probably be an awesome project  Wink
405  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Coinbase hacked!! Eth DOWN, on: June 22, 2017, 04:06:11 PM
what's! really coinbase hacked?

no it's a problem with ETH transaction, someone forked maybe? i'm not sure need to check it better, but the fact thta many other exchange are reporting the same problem means that there is no hack

Perhaps this bit of news will help.... https://news.bitcoin.com/status-ico-generates-over-60-million-but-fails-to-deliver-meanwhile-ethereum-flounders/

The Status ICO triggered the eth chain to overload hence the pending transactions and outages in exchange wallets.

Was really astonished about global problems with eth. Does anyone know more as google about eth?

You can try this bit of news https://news.bitcoin.com/status-ico-generates-over-60-million-but-fails-to-deliver-meanwhile-ethereum-flounders/

So it's the status ico that triggered the overload in the eth chain.
Thank you very much. Ok so its only overloaded. Then we should maybe hold eth to be on its hype Smiley

I suppose so....  Smiley watching how eth will turn out afterwards. In the meantime, will be throwing in some eth at cc when I've received full payment for my ltc investment  Wink Good luck with your eth!
407  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Vitalik openly admits he doesn't trust his creation on: June 22, 2017, 03:54:32 PM
Back in school students were trained to use logic to ascertain the context and therefor the meaning of what was said.

The first part of the context is pre-phrased by the question 'will you cash out' meaning unloading one singular current position into another, ' into bitcoin' meaning bitcoin. The second part of the context is to whom the question was made to. In this case Mr. Ethereum himself.

The unbiased mind will read the question and understand from the answer that he was asked if he would diversify from ethereum to bitcoin, to which he replied he was only interested in diversifying from his current position (Ethereum) into other sure things - not bitcoin - such as the examples he gave.

The answer was a pun to bitcoin. It is implicit that he is already invested in Ethereum therefor an intelligent reader would not expect him to say "ethereum".

You people were or are students and I believe you have the basic capacity to analyze intelligently. That being said, judgement can be clouded or misdirected by personal beliefs or personal exposure to one or more sides.

But note that he said "cryptocurrency" afterwards. He would then be referring to everything crypto -- including his eth.

That's right, folks. This is the difference between people like Charlie Lee, who left their job to focus on their creation and people like Buterin who "diversify" in boats and bitches. He just used other words such as "fiat", "real estate" etc.. What happened with "welcome to the beginning"? Many of you (at least I'd like to think so) are happy if they manage to sell 10 ETH (or BTC, or whatever) and buy back 11, while people like Vitalik are "diversifying" in something else. If you think that guys who are taking your money to fund their projects have the right not to believe in their creations, then you are free to call me a troll. The guy is already a millionaire in fiat and he's set for life, so he can easily afford an ETH/BTC/whatever failure, but no... he is "diversifying" in boats and bitches. What a hypocrite.............

My respect to this guy just vanished.

omg! he said that?!?! he doesn't believe in his own project! respect for the guy and faith in eth has now vanished completely!

TIPS and fedorashare are now disabled due to no blockchain + inactive dev team

I suppose it would help if this was flashed across our CryptoClone Dashboard, you know, for all investors to see. That way, everyone gets notified and you guys don't get plagued by questions/complaints about a disabled alt....
Not including the investment mentioned in this thread, TIPS & FEDS did not have any other investments. We would not disable altcoins with any deposits without notice.

Well that's a relief  Smiley cheers!
411  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Coinbase hacked!! Eth DOWN, on: June 22, 2017, 03:04:06 PM
That is why bitcoin will be still a good choice.. and ETH are having a lots of problem even in other exchange site i heard that ethereum wallet was inactive past few days.. Ethereum still altcoin and i think if what happen in bitcoin before it can be happen in ethereum or other altcoin their reason its because of traffic that actually already past this issue from bitcoin before.. that is why bitcoin will never die or replace by ethereum,.

i wonder how ltc will manage a sudden surge in transaction volume? someone said something about overwhelming a particular chain/network to test how it'll fare, so i totally agree with that person. doing so will help devs improve the performance (if that is possible?) of the network.

416  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Coinbase hacked!! Eth DOWN, on: June 22, 2017, 02:21:00 PM
ETH wallet is not down but due to the huge blockage, the transactions are pending since 24 hours. My transactions too are pending but I have noticed transactions with a gas limit of 250000 appearing on the network.

Also, coinbase is not hacked but they too are facing issues due to heavy traffic. Today the situation seems abnormal even for the ICOs. Everything is suffering including exchanges that depend on the ETH market.

So large transactions have appeared and @thadome received an amount that he shouldn't have when the congestion issues took place. So will the eth blockchain be edited again to make up for the erroneous transfers? No matter how enticing eth's value is, I think I'll be sticking with a different alt and bitcoin.
417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ETC] Ethereum Classic: Immutable Smart Contracts on: June 21, 2017, 01:23:53 PM
eth is having congestion issues due to surge in transactions. since etc is of the same code, any updates with the dev re: preventing the same issue in etc?
418  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Peso Digital - To help each other. 44000 Total supply Airdrop - DEX exchange.- on: June 21, 2017, 01:05:49 PM
Thanks for my share. Cheers!
419  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So, how bad are the issues with the Ethereum blockchain on: June 21, 2017, 09:30:57 AM
According to the following chart, ETH did 226,786 transactions in the last 24 hours. That is lower than bitcoin's 276,636

https://bitinfocharts.com/comparison/ethereum-transactions.html

It is NOT good news for Ether if they're getting congested at the same level when bitcoin did. It means they can't scale either, so the search goes on for a coin that can handle volume.

You nailed it.

420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Coinbase hacked!! Eth DOWN, on: June 21, 2017, 09:03:34 AM
Some are saying that it's because of this --> https://qz.com/1004892/the-bancor-ico-just-raised-153-million-on-ethereum-in-three-hours/ that the eth network is now congested.

But even during the worst spam attacks with dozens of topics from people complaining about transactions not being confirmed the Bitcoin network didn't congested at the point of getting unusable for exchanges and the exchanges always allowed withdraws. What is different now?

I think it is the first time something like this happens with a major cryptocoin.

perhaps it's another frailty of the ethereum chain that it's engineer didn't see coming....
