Focus more on learning. Creating posts isn't a guarantee to ranking up. If you must be considering ranking up faster you should focus on solving problems and giving solutions to critical threads. Many users stay long enough on the forum without ranking up not because the don't create new topics but most times those topics aren't meritable
402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you invest in new projects? on: December 28, 2021, 02:33:46 PM
Hello everyone, my question is: how often do you invest in new and young projects? Aren't you afraid of losing money if the project closes?

This is where risk management plays key role to save you the from much risk of losing beyond your ability. Life it's self is risky even keeping your funds in your local bank is risky so investing in new projects is only adviced when one invests with an amount that can be lost and forgotten without much I'll attitude attached to it.  Personally I love new projects but I keep my investment plan realistic and without greed
403  Economy / Economics / Digital asset is for holding on: December 28, 2021, 02:28:25 PM
Before thinking of investing in any sector what one considers is how long you are willing to hold. Let's take the history down to how investment all began. Moving from the era of Real estate to stocks to metals to oil blocks and now digital assets we would agree those who made it big in all this investment options were those who had the patience to hold.

This kept me wondering why one would even think of investing if they don't have the patient to hold. If you can't develop the hold attitude then the best option is to do a physical business where you can monitor your profit and see them come in regularly. If it must be crypto then you must be willing to hold and wait
404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who else noticed the massive move of Wakanda inu on: December 28, 2021, 02:15:50 PM
If you have sold your coin from December 4-10 which has a massive pump, that's a great profit you have but as of now, I didn't see any sign that it will rise back again.
I tried hard to sell but had restrictions I was only able to swap to stable coin and after an interval of 4 days got back the worth of my coin back to my wallet wiping off the profit made. I kept wondering what would have been responsible for such a hike in price and why was there restrictions to selling
405  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Animal racing on: December 28, 2021, 02:04:44 PM
I don't think it's harsh to use those animals because it has been existing for years and it's already a part of the tradition. Most animals who are used in racing actually fit on the said sports. As long as they aren't getting hurt physically, I don't see anything wrong with it. Animal racing is popular because of the fun and excitement that it provides.
You have a strong point here this games has been in existence for centuries and the have never been a time where animal welfare agencies have tried putting restrictions on this games which gives a clear indication that the animals aren't maltreated or mishandled. I just feel @ op is just showing some level of concern but I believe those in charge know what they are doing and can handle any situation that might arise
406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hoddle or day trading on: December 27, 2021, 03:05:42 PM
When dealing with altcoins once you go bullish and make reasonable profit forfiet the hold and do a major withdraw either to reinvest when the market is down or seeking for new projects to pump your funds into because most altcoin are traps that would keep you in high hopes of Market restoration that might never happen
407  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Who else noticed the massive move of Wakanda inu on: December 27, 2021, 03:02:10 PM
I felt rich for 4days after a massive turn over of my Wakanda coin and was already ready to start checking up on oil blocks and business ventures to engage in after I saw a massive turn over of over $70k. I swapped to usdt on roqqu but got the whole coin reversed back to Wakanda blocking every channel to reinvest. Who else experienced this?
408  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I grow my Crypto Bag without trading on: December 27, 2021, 02:54:46 PM
Staking and farming is two other possible ways by which you can grow your crypto bag without necessarily trading and mind you everyone must not trade. Holding is also a possible way to earn but yuu have to consider how you react to the market when it dips and how patient you can be for new bullish run
409  Economy / Economics / Re: What is better - cryptocurrency trading or investing? on: December 27, 2021, 02:45:35 PM
Trading or investing are both equally good. That's how we do it, regarding risks, all must have risks, but can be categorized into 2, big and small.
And I think the investment has a fairly small risk. But do not think, when the risk is small we can enter without analyzing. There are instruments that must really be considered.
Yes, that's true, basically both investing or trading is equally profitable,
both do have risks and therefore we must have the knowledge and skills to be able to make decisions so that they are not too risky
Yes both are equally profitable but going into either of them determines how much patience you have with both options. Each requires different patience based on long term and short term profit. So its up to who individuals to decide which suits their level of patience most so as to avoid playing around with their emotions because the market can be very unfriendly atimes
410  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You don't need to hodl a particular coin all your life on: December 27, 2021, 02:38:55 PM
It all depends on the coin in question if it's altcoins then at every profit interval selling and buying more is when the price falls is the best strategy but if it's Bitcoin most times the best option is to hold and forget about it for a longer period ignoring what ever the market does except there is enough discipline to hold your fiat if you made profit and sold at some point but the market still remains bullish
411  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop or continue trading on: December 25, 2021, 10:50:08 AM
I have lost all my capital to trading but still yet I feel the urge to trade more, I spent a huge capital to trade some new coins recently and was actively involved in spot trading. But recently I lost all my capital and I decided to give a break but now am feeling I should return back to trading.
Everytime you lose funds to trading it should be a clear indication to revisit your analysis. Get updated on what caused the loss other than just taking a break and after a while you return to trading without any proper study on recent happenings in the market and what candle caused the market to move in the opposite direction. Loss is part of the business when it comes to trading but if you must keep losses minimal you must keep on updating your knowledge
412  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP for 2025 on: December 25, 2021, 10:46:09 AM
I know that so many people don't like XRP for some reasons but if you do this question is for you, what do you think about the future of XRP? I'm planning to buy some and hold for long time, is this a good plan or a bad one? How do you see the lawsuit affecting XRP on long term?

XRP in 2025 is unpredictable but it could be worth holding for as long as that. We have seen XRP doing some great moves in 2021 making new ATHs I guess by then we might be expecting something bigger but not a guarantee. It's just taking the risk and waiting for what comes out

415  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: December 22, 2021, 07:15:18 AM
Haaland won't join Barcelona even if Barcelona are in good condition. Now they are in crisis and Haaland have more reasons to reject any offer from Barcelona. His style does not match with tactic in Barcelona and if he joins La Liga, he would choose Real Madrid or Atletico Madrid.

Perhaps Haaland will leave Bundesliga as well so his destination can be Premier League or La Liga. In my opinion, two best clubs for Haaland will be Real Madrid and Manchester City. Else, he can join PSG. They are top three clubs in my opinion for Haaland if he really leaves Dortmund.

Agreed. Erling Haaland's playing style is not fitting Barcelona's system. He would be a much better fit for teams like Real Madrid for example. Real Madrid have a quick attacking style which is not much different than Dortmund's. He wouldn't have too much problem on adapting to the team there I believe. Or there are other good alternatives like PSG, Manchester United and Manchester City. They all are in a better condition than Barcelona also.

I personally prefer Haaland to play in the English league if he leaves Dortmund, I think he will be able to develop more if he plays in a more competitive league like the English Premier League and Manchester City can be quite an ideal club for Haalaand in the future, PSG and Real Madrid is a rich club and can get haaland at any cost, but we know that the two team competitions are not as competitive as the English league and of course it will be a pride in the career of a football player if they can win the English league trophy in their career.
If Haaland should leave for the English premier league it's only one club he can fit into which is Manchester city and he would need to over labour to get a place in the starting xi as the likes of G. Jesus and sterling would have to give him a chance to perform. Liverpool is also considering giving him an offer. It's a career launch for him but his pattern of play suits either Manchester city, PSG or Real Madrid
416  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A newbie has honest reasons for being involved with crypto on: December 22, 2021, 07:07:11 AM
I found Bitcoin talk reliable enough to get updated about the happenings surrounding crypto currency and also a good avenue to add to my portfolio while I learn I should still earn so I can have enough to get better understanding about how the crypto system works get personal experience about the risk involved and a better understanding on why most projects fail.
417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How reasonable is the long-term investment in Altcoins? on: December 22, 2021, 06:57:31 AM
Not all altcoins can be held for a long term return. Some are just meant to make good profit with the volatility then back off or take advantage of the hype get a good profit and abandon the project for another. Only a few altcoin can guarantee one a good return on a long term base. To hold on a long term means a deep research before holding
418  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Binance Coin (BNB) reach $1K? on: December 22, 2021, 06:54:27 AM
Yes BNB can as crypto asset keeps recovering from the dip it keeps creating new ATHs. Binance native token has made lots of massive returns in time past, it has gone above $500 there is all clear indication it would also meet up with $1k but it would take time to get to that price but it's fully possible
419  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Only invest an amount you can afford to lose" on: December 22, 2021, 06:48:39 AM
"Only invest an amount you can afford to lose."

Probably one of the most common advice I've heard when it comes to investing in bitcoin; and I've used it a lot of times too. But honestly, in our current situation where fiat is getting printed like hell, I started to use that statement less and less. It just seems that holding bitcoin is now totally necessary.

Holding is for patient investors. Bitcoin keeps playing with investors emotions regularly and each time it tries to making a move up it keeps going dip. But has fiat gets printed more often it's best to hold and holding implies a money you might not necessary have a need for as the market would definitely keep playing with emotions until it makes it new ATH
420  Economy / Economics / Re: This what poor people need on: December 22, 2021, 06:41:12 AM
Money management is critical for all investors not just the poor. What the poor need basically is determination to outgrow their state of mind as poverty begins from the mind. Once the mind is conquered it would be easier to see all things as the ought to be. After the mind is won then we look it acquiring the right knowledge and skills for any venture at all. Then mentorship comes in
