Hey guys, we'll be transitioning to blocktrail's API (or blockr.io's) soon.
I'll have payments out to everyone no later than Friday (hopefully much sooner), with a 10% bonus to everyone that is due a payment from a week+ ago.
Sounds good! Thanks for doing a little extra on this one it's much appreciated with 10 percent. We are always taken care of ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) . This is why ive been here 7+ months.

Hi. I purchased 4 au3 miners off of ebay. The dude I purchased them from hated them so much he gave me 7 even though I only paid for 4.
I need two power adapters. Where can I purchase the power adapters?
Also. Your miners are stupidly unstable. is there a firmware update I can do to make them stable? They can't even stay up a whole day with out turning into a zombie...
How much did you pay? I cant imagine giving 3 extra's. You can look into linux and scrypting (such as RPI) to reset. Or easy is get a R1 from crazyguy with custom firmware - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=612390.0Either one is a valid way to fix zombies.

Hello everyone! i am new to BTC. I am from Pakistan and finding it hard to start with the BTC. Any useful information how to start from scratch if i am from a 3rd world county? Thanks a lot in advance.
You can try to start with faucet, once you have earn good, maybe gamble .. Faucets are cent's per hour at most. Why suggest a person go into faucet? I don't see it making any money. Can you show a faucet that gained even 3rd world earnings? And if it did.... how is gambling going to help?

-snip- Well if you have alot of money, and armed guards I dont think people will just do an armed robbery against you. Its far more likely that an infiltration can occur, so that is the risk you need to worry about.
My point exactly. The guards are a security risk as well as a feature. What is "IDS"?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intrusion_detection_systemThe whole point military quality equipment makes it zero percent chance of losing BTC is just wrong. As long as there is greed and "bad" people you cant just blindly trust. Look at this coinbase - http://www.coindesk.com/former-silk-road-dea-agent-pleads-guilty-to-bitcoin-theft/ . These DEA agents had military quality... they had secret clearances... should be great guys. But in actual world they got greedy and stole BTC from what should have went into government holdings. I still think cold wallet is key. I think hardware wallet and paper wallet are strongest ways to store BTC if done right.

Buy some established and dividend paying assets that are on various altcoins. The best passive earning method.
something like this should have a big enough capital, to get high profits because a long time to get dividend. I try to pay dividends every 2 weeks to my shareholders so it is usually a very smooth earning method. We also invest in low risk investments so the risk of losing money is very low. Burst just does not look good look at facts - https://poloniex.com/exchange#btc_burst -16 percent in last 24 hours. BTC if people just left in grew in value. Burst also is rediclous in mining, even with a month of mining 2 TB or so you lose money on electricity. The HD mining is just not worth it. Just look at trend burst ever since released has went down... so don't make it sound low risk.

is something like TOR worth using?? Like I don't need to go private often but is incognito private enough? It's fine for buying stuff in secret i think
I don't think you should need tor to tell the truth. If it's some "in secret" one would assume it's illegal or you don't want people to know you ordering X item. So... I would stay away from it. Also the problem is eventually X item needs to make it to you. So at sometime there is something attached to you to get the item. So yes BTC if never used can be anonymous but once used for something I think it loses a lot of that part of being anonymous.

As the title says, why is the activity required for Legendary random? Why is this rank so special? It's just another rank. And besides the sig campaign pay, I can't find anything different about it than a Hero member rank. It seems pretty weird to me, and can be kind of depressing if you are one of the unlucky ones who gets Legendary at like, 1000 activity xD
You will become Legendary somewhere between 775 and 1030 activity and it is random per user. Refer hereLegendary is special because you will be respected by the community and it is not because you have higher rank than the others, but it is because you have been in the forum for years. That is why the Legendary member is special. If you believe that you have not been here long enough. Anyone can just buy a legendary account for the right price. There is nothing special about any rank here. Dont get fooled by the shiny coins. I know people do sell them... I just cant imagine getting rid of my account even if I did not use it much at some point. The ones selling legendary are crazy considering amount of time put in. But I think the not knowing makes it kinda fun. I have not been real lucky there are Legendary under me... but that is how it goes. I could get it next period or it could be 6 months... and I'm ok with that and enjoy it.

BlockChain is the best BTC wallet.
Nope Nope Nope I would never recommend that wallet to anyone, never Use electrum man, block chain has a security issues and you might be the next one in the target Don't believe me ? search this forum for blockchain hack issues and you will lots of them ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) Move your coins before its too late ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) I am convinced on some of these long threads some people post without reading even a few pages. It is sad but seems to be hat is happening. Blockchain is a hot wallet... it has it's purposes for spending. But you want cold wallet or hardware for long term big storage. Do not use blockchain to hold all your coins though.

The attraction for me of Solar, particularly if you have a system with no or a very small battery is that you can continue to mine with out of date hardware and make some money regardless of difficulty and halvings without worrying about electricity cost.
Rich
The problem is everyone I have seen that has had math behind it with estimates it's very long term. Were talking 10+ years with payment upfront. We don't know what bitcoint will be like in 10 years... so hard to even speculate. Cheap electricity no upfront cost. So I think it's still going to win out. And I wish I was wrong I would love to have some solar just so far have not been able to justify the cost. Yes agreed and I am not talking about ROI just the ongoing prospect of a Solar Powered Miner such that I could mine at some level without further costs regardless of Miner efficiency and Difficulty. I am still putting together parts for my experiment, have got 500W of panels for $150 and expect to complete the project for another $100. However Weather in the UK not ideal at the moment for putting the panels up so will probably not get up and running until the Spring. Rich But with upfront cost I don't see that your getting to mine profitably no matter miner efficiency and difficulty. You have a upfront cost you need to cover eventually unless your just doing it because you want it. And I think it's going to be a long term investment. Have you got a initial cost and and how big are you taking about going?

+11.2 = dukeneptun I see people guess bigger percentages this time, +%10.6 change effected predicts of a lot of us. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Did you miss my prediction? I got an issue here .
Next Payment : 2015-11-29 03 (which means yesterday)
but today we are 30th November 2015 and posts are still counting ...? so when I'm supposed to receive ? Is there is any issue with the server time ?
I guess it's an issue with their server. https://www.blocktrail.com/BTC/address/16pe2twTgrjKC8mioPjX3f2UbCMGvWbVz4/transactionsPayments aren't being sent. I would think that they're using blockchain.info API and it was down for quite a while yesterday. That is the most likely contact bitcoin boy, or macro (or both) and tell them they should be able to run it and get it fixed up. Blockchain seems to be hit or miss today so I'm guessing it was same them. On mine I would truly appriciate if you could say if you gotten my PM's or what I should do. Mine is from Nov 10, when it had a limit before it should have. On it you said on boards: Those who were not paid the full amount last week, please PM me! ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Is the status still that it will be paid? Or did something change and i should stop asking? (I hate bugging you on it. I have been in campaign over 7 months and this is first time truly cannot get a response on a payment)

Please. Stop spamming the forum. I've seen your name enough times authoring so many shitposts to last me a lifetime.
There really shouldn't, because done people actually contribute to the forum, instead of spam it. I just guess we'll have to live with spammers.
Koff koff
I guess spam means "posting a lot" to you. With that being said, maybe a post restriction is your best bet. Either way, I am placing you on ignore for the rudeness. Well generally when you talk about spam here means someone who posts a lot of non constructive posts. What tarsua said it's a pretty valid point too. Site owners will often post a lot in the same thread to communicate with their users. If I do recall correctly, the meaning of constructive from the English language is doing actions that can help people. In this case I am creating a way to possibly stop people who post a lot. In the OP, I quoted somebody that didn't appreciate somebody posting a lot. So, I came up with the idea of a post restriction. I would say that is me being constructive. Unfortunately, your idea of constructive and my idea of it would be different. That doesn't mean that I deserve to be insulted. Insulting people would be trolling them, which I do not condone. If you don't appreciate my posts, it doesn't make sense to continue reading them, which means they only click on them to upset me. With that being said, I have placed those people on ignore. The board is not your parent. Should it stop after X post... no as some are very active and do have useful posts. It has things to prevent just pure spam such as posting limits with time in between. This is something good as chances are after a few you are reported and deleted. Do I wish the board would stop you from posting in huge bold font? Yes I do... but they leave it open in case there is a good use of it. FYI your using to big of font, and bold on post's that don't need it. If you do not appreciate the way I type sometimes, it is just best to leave me be. If it was so wrong to use, they wouldn't give us the option. My past posts that are like this have never been deleted. Until they are all deleted, I can assume posting in bold text is against the rules. But that wouldn't make sense when there is no rule book here. It is not even in the unofficial rules at BitcoinTalk. Don't worry though; I only do this when it seems as though people are not seeing my perfectly fine explanations. Not to say that this will help them understand them, but it'll definitely help them see them. The posting in massive bold font is not really a good thing. They cannot have a rule as some posts use it to their advantages like sections or titles, etc. But just to type a massive post in big font so it sticks out is not the right reason. Just that past are still there is not a good thing to prove it's ok. Likely it means just no one reported them. I would be suprised if you get to keep on posting with huge font. But I guess I don't write the rules so I could be wrong.

Hi Guys,
What's the best BitCoin miner these days? I live in California, so electricity isn't cheap.
I was thinking of getting this one because it's easy to acquire:
1. GekkoScience Compac USB Stick Bitcoin Miner 8gh/s+ (BM1384) 2. Bitmain AntMiner U3 Bitcoin Miner Version 2
Thoughts?
I wouldn't go for the U3. It's known to be unstable... I'm running a GekkoScience Compac myself, and it's a really fun device. Do be carefull, it runs at a little over 10Ghs/s at my place, so it's not the same as an S7, witch gives you almost 5 Th/s. With this, i mean that with a stickminer, you'll only mine a couple thousand satoshi's a day... If you buy an S7, you can actually make some real coins ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) If your doing it for fun you could use either. But keep in mind you will not make back what those cost. They are considered "lotto" devices to most as they can use them for little electricity trying to hit a block. It will not make what you pay if you try to just mine it. Also keep in mind chances of getting a block are slim. But the compac is the easier one of the two without messing around with zombies. But the price of U3 keeps it in peoples eye. I personally use both for fun, but I use a RPI for compac controller and crazyguy's custom firmware R1 for the U3's to get rid of zombie problem.

avalon number one!
hashrate from f2pool
12.3 volt 75 c
removed was a temp hosting site.
Nice to see stats like this always ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) . At current everything it seems they do very good overclock via the input voltage. They do work good already via input voltage to do a OC. Which is nice to see that it can do a decent jump. *Edit can you upload to a site that is not temp hosting? Just instead of a good stat page we see a red ugly box now.

Batch 8 Speed: 4.73TH/S Weight: 4.5 kg Price: 4.73 BTC ( 1792.2 USD ) Batch 7 Speed: 5.06TH/S Weight: 4.5 kg Price: 5.06 BTC ( 1917.23 USD ) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.bitmaintech.com%2Fbm_tech_admin_at_123%2Fuserfiles%2Fimage%2F1111.jpg&t=663&c=3MWUxC1zOyn8Fw) So am I right in thinking all doing to get better results is tweak the clock speeds however how did they produce 5TH in Batch 7? and now looking at batch 8 is faster memery speed used but less hash output that dont make sense. Would like to buy but still at the prices maybe S8 will be less in cost or will have a better ratio at power used. Thanks for posting. Do we happen to have the price info as far as BTC price of miner? I would love to see like average BTC price or the BTC price when batch ended. I just think some are getting a much better deal with swings on BTC. I know that one time where we saw 500ish... they came out like bandits. Kinda a weird miner with price varying so much, and no other miner is like S7 on speed swings... crazy amount of speed swings. I think we were getting close to a price change, but instead we got a bump in BTC value. Which I won't complain about. I am happy to see Bitmain did not raise prices to.

this guy has done this more then once. I don't understand the rules and why he thinks overpaying at .0076 vs .0066 and for 10ph this is a lot of coin. maybe someone could explain why it is worth it for him to overpay. or if he is just a nut job pissing away money? I think it's likely someone who thinks they know what they are doing but has no idea. I am willing to be he has a spreadsheet or something where he added up and thinks profit... but eventually he will realize hes losing unless he's is a nut like you mentioned and does not monitor BTC. Not to often do you see people send hash there on rentals. I had not been monitoring nicehash looks like up at 7% , was under for the longest time. Is nicehash starting to stay above 100 percent again? No Just for the last few hours. I am pretty sure there is no good reason to over pay as much as he is paying. But I would love to know if he has an angle. 1000 x 0.0010 = 1 btc so he is over paying by 8btc if he rent 8ph for a day. These are 100 percent speculation and out there, I'm not making a accusation. Just here are two things I can think of. 1) Push up the price on nicehash. Either nicehash wanting to do it themself (which I don't see them), or a big miner hoping to push it back over 100 as normal. I could not figure out why people mined there for less then 100 percent. But I guess I remember day's where it has some crazy payments. 2) The pool want's to look bigger to attract more people. Some pools seems to get less and less hash overtime and they lose profit. I dont see this happening either... but it could. Those are my two tinfoil hat speculations.

I can't even do much cause of the person who left me negative trust & im stuck on newbie
Well it sounds like you might be able to get Hedgy's negative trust removed if you meet his requirements. The untrusted feedback I wouldn't worry about unless you really are selling cracked stuff. If that's the case, you totally deserve it. Stop feeling sorry for yourself and move forward. Lmao all he account generators here are cracked accounts, he's just mad because I wouldn't give him a vouch copy. Can you post where this happened at? Normally a vouch copy is not given to new person. If you can prove this... then it would change it and I would think he would remove it. But I cant imagine giving a neg just because of not getting a vouch. Also how are you able to get amazon and other digital codes at such low price? Does CC = Credit Card? It just looks like you are possibly in this market from recent posts. With such high post on a newbie account and so many sales threads including digital.... I'm going to guess you will get a few more neg's. It's normally guilty till proven innocent... for better or worse.

I can't even do much cause of the person who left me negative trust & im stuck on newbie
There is a valid argument on it. You do post a LOT more then most newbie's. Are you truly new or are you someone starting over? Or what is story. Just posting 63 posts as a newbie.... is a LOT compared to normal usage. It's only going to get worse if you continue to post so much. I highly suggest taking it slow. Not jumping into tons of post's and trying to sell first day of account. Even if escrowed trying to sell first day on account is not going to get good attention. And if you are not truly new what is your old username? I ask as you really seem like someone who has been here more then a day.
