you continue to deceive everyone, talk about compliance with the rules of gambling, but these rules are not published.

I never talked about any such thing.

write what you need to keep the equivalent of 50$ in the account or$ 100 to get a payout. stop lying, stop lying.

No, you misunderstand. Everyone gets a payout, $50 balance will double the base reward, and $100 will turn off captcha. Also if you gamble or buy lottery tickets the amount will be less because they are factored into our calculations.
4002  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: April 26, 2018, 05:08:03 PM
that's right, so why cheat users and cut their payouts?
people spent time and money to develop a network of referrals and receive interest from them - you have deceived all, no one believes you anymore.
I use bots and improve them, I like to collect bitcoins on your site, I will continue to do so and will increase the number of accounts because I do not need anything.

We know for a fact that as soon as we halved the reward for users that don't meet the requirement for gambling a vast network suddenly stopped playing and withdraw what they had made so far. So we know that they must have been paying. If we start getting attacked even with the reduced rewards then the only thing we could do is stop the faucet altogether for those that don't gamble or deposit. I really hope it doesn't come to that.

4003  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: April 26, 2018, 04:48:34 PM
Dear TheQuin want to open your eyes, all your posts about botnet networks is not profitable to work on your website is a lie. botnets use captcha recognition services, but not those that take money for it, but those that work on neural networks, those that are able to solve almost any of your captcha with a very large percentage of the probability of recognition. I will attach a screenshot, more information you can get on the website of one of these sellers of software.  I'm sure you're familiar with this kind of software.

If that type of service ever is available for free then no faucet will ever be able to continue. Fortunately for us we are also a profitable dice site.

-snip-
Just looking at the fact you get 2 RP for every free roll that's only 16 free rolls to get 10% bonus. Already way better than the 1% bonus after 10 that you just asked for.  Wink
I guess we have agree on the fact that people (including me) just want this cool, new update already Grin
The need for something new is strong here, not only Kprawn and poptok1 are expressing this but majority of freebitcoins users, I presume would appreciate something extra and I don't mean extra money, although it would be nice.
I have a strong feeling that wesuit is gonna make reward points as a erc20 token or something very similar.
IMO that would be first useful incarnation of erc20 Wink Imagine on site micro-exchange, people trading with each other etc, etc.
To be honest, I cant wait for the grand reveal.

That's good to hear. Unfortunately, with all the Newbies signing up to whine that we don't give them enough free money, it's easy to miss the important stuff. I'm not too sure how the token is going to work but I think it is going to be linked to the site's profits.
This is just a personal opinion but I wish he hadn't announced the rebrand so far in advance.  Wink
4005  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: April 26, 2018, 03:08:23 PM
The reward points are not actually what I was thinking about. I doubt if a lot of people are directly motivated by this, because

they cannot see the outcome or the reason for this. It should mention that the more you use the FREE ROLL option, the

higher your pay-out will be. Say you use it 10 times a day and you get 25 Sat, then after every 10 times, your payout will be

say 1% more for every spin.  Wink <Serial Faucet users should get rewarded more>  Roll Eyes

If you redeem RP for BTC Bonus then that does increase your free roll payout.

32 RP gives 10% Bonus
160 RP gives 50% Bonus
320 RP gives 100% Bonus
1600 RP gives 500% Bonus
3200 RP gives 1000% Bonus

Just looking at the fact you get 2 RP for every free roll that's only 16 free rolls to get 10% bonus. Already way better than the 1% bonus after 10 that you just asked for.  Wink
4006  Other / Meta / Re: More than 1000 merit abusers found here (clearly motivated) - red trust time on: April 26, 2018, 02:54:25 PM
How have you worked that out? I've given out hundreds of merits, and I've received hundreds. I'm sure that I have given merits to members who have also given merits to me. I haven't checked, and don't remember as the awards ween't linked.

I was thinking the same thing at first but a closer look at the list and it only contains those that have exchanged between 80% and 100% of the merit they used. It is still just a suspect list rather than anything concrete. It seems to be that there is no sanction for merit abuse anyway but it might be a useful source of information for the alt hunters.
4007  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: April 26, 2018, 02:35:05 PM
The point is... if you are a new member or normal player you gonna need 1 year to reach 30.000 satoshis (min withdraw) with this halfed roll and w/o reward point working as it should.

You guys are trying to protect yourself from bots... Ok... seems fair enough. But if you did not notice, you are making a lot of legit players quit.

1 year for 3$. it good enough:)

I think the real reason so many people carry on anyway is that there's always a chance to win much more than that. You could get that $2, $20 or $200 in a single roll if you get lucky. Other faucets don't offer that chance, so people that just view it as solving captchas to make a couple of bucks probably prefer faucets that pay them to click through loads of adverts as well.
4008  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: April 26, 2018, 02:03:01 PM
the question. How after the bot gone? free roll and reward comeback like before?

That's very simple. Because the reward at $0.001 is less than they pay for a captcha solve it is not profitable for them. If we put it back to $0.002 they could make a profit again and they would sign up new botnets of tens of thousands every day.

We would like to do it but if we do it would be exploited. It's better to give everyone at least $0.001 every free roll than nothing.
4009  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: April 26, 2018, 01:46:22 PM
i totally agree with you. They're trying to push us deposit and betting. Bot is not a true reason. They said that they don't have any problem with their profit. Why they cut all the reward.
time to bye bye

The bots are the reason we needed to make changes that mean certain minimum requirements for either betting and/or depositing were made to get full base reward. It is no longer possible for us to detect or stop bots any other way. The only thing that distinguishes them from humans is their netting and deposit habits. They won't do anything that risks it costing them more to buy captcha solves than they can get out of the faucet. If you need someone to vent your anger on it should be them.
We're not trying to push you to deposit or gamble but we did need to reduce the amount of free money we give you if you don't.

As for the problem with redeeming reward points, I simply don't know yet and I'm not going to speculate.

Hi,

This is my first post in here. I’d like to ask how come when I redeem the 100 reward points / roll bonus at 1,200 RP, it suddenly says that I could not redeem the reward? It is asking me to redeem a lower reward. Today is the first time this thing happened. Kindly advise. Thanks!

I'm not sure yet, a couple of other people have reported the same problem. I've sent the details on to wetsuit and as soon as he gives me an update I'll let everyone know.
4011  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: April 26, 2018, 12:28:02 PM
Guys,

This is not a bug or problem.

They did with reward system same as they did with free rolls. If you don't have more than 50 USD in your account you will got your rolls reduced 50% and will not be able to activate 100 RP per roll or 1000% bonus.

As i said before, it's time to say goodbye.

How could you possibly know that?
4012  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: April 26, 2018, 12:16:32 PM
I see there is a problem which is why I have informed the administrator. I have no access to the servers so I have no way of knowing what the cause of the problem is. Thank you for providing your user ID as a sample affected account to check. I will let you know when I have any more information.

USER ID 11259953

OK, I have just sent an email and I'll update here as soon as I hear anything.
4014  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: April 26, 2018, 11:52:55 AM
What happened to the points? I can not take the maximum (for 1200), although on the balance of 2500. The site writes that I take a smaller bonus. What's the matter?

I just tried it on my account and it worked as it should. Double check everything and if it still doesn't work PM me your user ID and I'll ask wetsuit to take a look.

Edit. I see you just added a screenshot. What exactly are you trying to redeem for? If it the extra 100 RP per roll or are trying to encash them?

This problem began also in friends

As I said can you let me know your user ID and I'll ask wetsuit to take a look.

I understood that the Rothschilds owns the Bank of England, The federal Reserve, the Bank of Japan, and many others

It is a matter of record that NM Rothschild isn't even a member bank of the Federal Reserve, let alone owns it. The Bank of England myth stems from a fake quote "The man who controls Britain’s money supply controls the British Empire, and I control the British money supply.". Nathan Rothschild never said it and the quote only dates back to 1939. This isn't against you but I'm just trying to point out that blindly repeating these lies as facts only goes to perpetuate them. These lies were created for antisemitic reasons and that is the reason I always feel compelled to challenge them when I see them.
4017  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: A critique on the Lightning Network from a regular poster. Long. on: April 26, 2018, 11:02:46 AM
I don't think it is fair to call it paranoia, as it is very reasonable to be suspicious of something like LN.

It's reasonable to be suspicious but the quote provided in the OP goes well beyond that IMO.

I also have a bit of a problem in the way Core handled this. Users should have a choice to either use LN or not, if we don't do onchain scaling, they will not have a choice. I have a problem with this.

While I agree that I would have liked to have seen a compromise approach with some on chain scaling as well, I do think that framing it as LN or onchain misses the bigger picture. LN is being developed but the blockchain has been opened up to layer 2 applications not limited to LN. If there are limitations in LN then there is nothing to stop people developing better alternatives.

LN, however, is far more decentralized than banks, as TheQuin says.
I think it is unreasonable to assume that without hubs you will need 100s of relay nodes to route your transaction. If people simply open channels with their friends, I think around 3 hops on average would be enough, according to a study done by Facebook https://research.fb.com/three-and-a-half-degrees-of-separation/

This would mean that everyone would need to open hundreds of channels with their friends, which is a problem.
We would need to make running a LN node very easy and cheap, like a simple mobile app and make sure people are usually online to route payments.
Technology can work, the question is in adoption, kinda like Bitcoin in general.

That again is overlooking the competition in the fee market. If it is profitable to run a hub then more people will run hubs and there will always be cheap paths. It's not just more decentralised than banks it is open market economics.

It is still reasonable to worry however. This does introduce some scary new things that we simply can't know how will work out in a long run.
LN does offer more good features than just scaling though, privacy of transactions, revenue for nodes which might increase decentralization, etc.
It is definitely something that needs to be discussed and chasing people away with different opinion is a really unreasonable and immoral idea.

Nobody is being chased away but pointing out the use of the pejoritive term banks when it is completely inappropriate is necessary, otherwise people will be worried and scared for no reason. Some might even find that an unreasonable and immoral idea.

I'm in agreement with this. One of the reasons I'm keen to see the reputation of the forum restored, is to enable it to become influential in discussions about the new government currencies that will emerge soon. The computer failure at TSB looks to be the third phase in the path to replacing the current debt laden fiat currencies controlled by the Rothschilds.

While the banks have a lot to answer for and that's ultimately the reason we're here, Bitcoin came out of the rubble of the 2008 financial crisis. The Rothschilds don't control anything. That's an antisemitic trope dating back over 200 years that unfortunately many non-racists repeat without understanding its significance or history.

Maybe we should just ban all ICOs from being promoted on the forum and trash the altcoin bounties board instead.
I'd love to see that happen! Ban all facebook and twitter spam from the forum.
I'd love to see spam-free ICOs and bounty threads, but that's not possible if you're competing with hundreds of spam threads. A start could be selling advertising space in 5 sticky threads on those boards, for self-moderated spam-free campaigns. But that's something for another thread.

The Twitter and Facebook spam doesn't really bother me as it is easy just to put the altcoin bounties board on ignore and the problem is solved. Where the spam comes from is the signature campaigns where the participants are paid in the ICO tokens. It doesn't cost the promoters anything to make the tokens so they don't care about paying them to hundreds of alt accounts for pure spam. That's what is polluting the rest of the forum. In the auction for banner advertising space on the forum the restriction "No ICOs, banks, funds, or anything else that a person can be said to "invest" in; I may very rarely make exceptions if you convince me that you are ultra legit, but don't count on it.". I'm not sure exactly why that restriction has been added the reputation of the forum could well be harmed by being seen to promote scams. I think that reputational damage extends to scams being promoted in signatures.
4020  Other / Meta / Re: Suggestion: Merit Phase 2 - Drain the Swamp (@theymos) on: April 26, 2018, 07:26:03 AM
Correction:  It should be a rare privilege for members who contribute.

It is a privilege, but unfortunately, one that is heavily abused. That's just semantics, we're arguing the same thing. I still think an ongoing merit requirement to earn the right to wear a signature is a good idea although it doesn't look like this proposal is going anywhere. Maybe we should just ban all ICOs from being promoted on the forum and trash the altcoin bounties board instead.
