4001  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The TRUTH About ASIAN Discrimination & "Stop Asian Hate" on: April 05, 2021, 03:43:12 AM
Just a day after the anniversary of the assassination of a strong advocate against all forms of racism (Dr Martin Luther King) and the inspiration his death brought, I find it not so nice that what he and others heroes unmentioned fought for, is still a problem today. Perhaps it is just in the human nature to discriminate.

Could it be possible that the recent surge in Asian discrimination and hate has been fueled by the fact the recent pandemic (Corona virus) that has caused losses in both lives and properties to many has its origin from the Asian continent? Is that enough reason for the hate?
4002  Other / Off-topic / Re: Happy Easter everyone! on: April 05, 2021, 02:13:36 AM
Happy Easter everyone, for clarity sake, Every easter we see various Easter pictures, some with the a depiction of Christ and how he is risen (Christian tradition) and others with the picture of a Bunny, Bunny & eggs, or just eggs. I have been thrown into reasoning, and will like for us all to share a piece of their mind on the subject.

-Why has the pagan tradition of celebrating a bunny which research has said to be a Germanic Goddess that lay eggs (easter bunny) been put on same day/incorporated with the day christians have set aside to celebrate the resurrection of Christ?
4003  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2020/2021 on: April 04, 2021, 12:15:10 AM
RESULT:

Arsenal 0-3  Liverpool

Liverpool came back to form with a great result at Arsenal. I thought it would be difficult match but in the end Liverpool ran away with a win.

I really thought this game will be another happy ending game for me an arsenal fan, only for me to be disappointed again lol. I guess by now, we arsenal fans have had our fair share of disappointment and we are used to it. We were completely dominated throughout the game, very unlike the arsenal side we used to know. They played very well beneath the standard and I don't think Mikel Arteta will get another season as the arsenal boss, with a total of 17 losses, 12 draws and just 21 wins in all competitions after 50 games. Unia Emery even with his 25 wins in 50 games wasn't allowed to continue, i don't think Arteta should be different.

For all Chelsea supporters worldwide conceeding a home defeat seems disappointing. From the starting line up, i knew that the coach had to make a key decision with the champions League game against Porto in mind. I sure hope the Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel who was just announced as the premier League coach march knows what he is doing.
4005  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin wasn’t created to make you rich. It was created to make you free on: April 03, 2021, 02:48:25 AM
Bitcoin has made some rich (early holders), Bitcoin has to some as well taking away their financial freedom In terms of people (hodlers) who have disciplined themselves from enjoying/scrapping off profits from the btc they hold.In whatever way the creation of bitcoin has helped, it is something we are all happy about.
4006  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is death the end or there is more to it? on: April 02, 2021, 07:27:09 PM
Some religions strongly believe in life after death, however, we may never really know for ourselves until we die. In order words, only the dead really can tell us if there is a life after date.
4007  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to quit the mobile phone and study hard? on: April 02, 2021, 07:19:43 PM
If you are considering quitting your mobile phone completely, i personally do not see it as a good idea. You can consider changing habits and becoming more disciplined rather than deciding to want to quit the mobile phone completely. As much as there are detriments to the mobile phone when used without caution, there are many benefits as well take for instance you being able to be on this forum as one.
4008  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Paytiz.com/ Scam alert on: April 02, 2021, 06:59:46 PM
You should always be weary of websites that you come across online, ensure to double check the credibility of a site before indulging in any transaction with officials from that site. This is a lesson for you to learn, you just have to be extra careful next time when selling your bitcoin to someone you have no relationship with. As for the cash, you will definitely make it back, better days ahead.
4009  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Comparison of buying a cup of coffee with crypto on: April 02, 2021, 06:52:07 PM

I have discussed with my friends on this forum and offline about the possibility of btc replacing fiat, to say the truth again, because of its high transaction fee, you will be running at a loss if you utilize btc for small transactions. We can say that cryptos in general will replace fiat, but not btc alone. From the cup of coffee price, you can deduce and see that while some cryptos like btc are not ideal for small transactions, some other cryptos are ideal for it.

CR7 scored and now if I'm not wrong in only 7 goals away from the all-time scorer with a national team in history.

Six goals to go man,he'll sure get pass Ali Daei 109 goals away from the all-time scorer with a national team in history.
I see him setting another record, surpassing Ali Daei's has already.
Congratulations in advance my #GOAT.

4013  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: March 29, 2021, 05:25:25 AM

International breaks are no fun. It's a spoiler for me I actually enjoyed last weekend games. I doubt anyone looks forward to watching the  games. The annoying part about the international break is when key players get injured during this time and have to return to their clubs with injuries. This just disrupts the whole team and process that have been put together. International break will be over and the clubs have to bear the cost of it all. It is unfair and should be looked at. Who should pay for the treatment of players who sustained injuries during the international break? Who should be responsible?

In as much as it a national honour to be called to play for country, most players in the premier League whose home country has not seen as much development as the countries they play their football, are always very reluctant and afraid to come represent their country in an international match because of this injury scare. Be it a friendly or a qualifiers game. Especially in developing countries where there health care system is still not reliable and medical allocation for players very small or not inclusive. I think there should be a clear consensus between club and country before they release any player next time for an international match as to who and how any medical emergency bill will be sorted out promptly if it arises, to ensure that the player's morale is high.

Congratulations to Gambia on their first ever AFCON. Although, some argue that they only qualified because the number of participating teams was increased from 18 to 24. What do you think?
4016  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: March 28, 2021, 05:30:59 AM
Stipe Miocic really couldn't handle any more damage from Francis Ngannou. He couldn't believe his eyes that he went down so fast in the second round. Undoubtedly Ngannou is formidable and really deserves the title of new UFC Heavyweight Champion. We hope to see another challenger soon.
4017  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What age bracket is perfect for gambling on: March 28, 2021, 05:10:46 AM
Because of social media and the age we are in currently, there is barely anything reserved for a particular age bracket. The search and excitement for quick money has driven and caused some under the legal age of gambling to click and say that they are above 18.
The major reason why gambling is not adviced for people not only less than 18 but also those who cannot control themselves is that it is a dangerous addiction and can lead to the loss of fortune if left uncontrolled.

4019  Other / Serious discussion / Re: What are the mindset and core beliefs of the best crypto traders and analysts? on: March 28, 2021, 12:01:51 AM
A general street code for traders is, "Never count/calculate the money you invest/use to trade the market." The reason is this, when you stop counting the money you throw into every trade as available money, you are not perturbed even if  the value of what you bought is dropping, all you got to do is wait for a short while.
