Very unfortunate for Valladolid with the red card.. it was never a red. I dont know what the ref was smoking. It was a clear yellow but a very undeserving straight red. I don't know why VAR wouldnt overturn the decision either. Barcelona get a 90th min goal to win the match but it would leave a sour taste for ever Valladolid and neutral fans to see unfairness in a match.

Wow, what a difficult win. Didn't expected such good game from Valladolid, considering how many players they were missing. And they didn't parked bus, they were dangerous on attack. I'm surprised that referee didn't gave penalty when Alba touched ball with hand. Also, former Barca goalkeeper Masip had great game tonight.
Now we are just 1 point behind Atletico and now we can start counting days until El Clasico on Saturday.

The referee was the star of the game by far. The red card wasn't justified at all, it should be a yellow card and absolutely not a red one especially that he was very close to it. Reducing Valladolid players to 10 granted the win to Barca... There was also the hand incident...
And people whine about penalties given to RM, where is the VAR? and why when Messi deserve a red card, he doesn't receive it? La Liga deserves to have VAR + camera in each corner and a drone

for me it looks like this Barcelona team can score at any moment, but they can also concede a goal with any shot.
There is a great slow pace in the transfer of the attack and a large unjustified focus on the Alba side, which made Valladolid defense stationed in an easy and solid way at the same time !! Valladolid is very dangerous with his shifts from defense to attack and he could have scored a goal in more than one shot . It was a hard fought victory and Barcelona fought till the very end. Great goal from Dembele too to get them all 3 points and a major boost in the title race that has seen them move to second spot with just 1 point behind Atlético Madrid. I'm glad Barcelona won. Not only because they saved my only parley bet for today but also because the title race is now interesting than it was a couple of weeks back when Atlético was dominant. It's not that much again and I'd love to see these teams battle it out to see who would win it.  Exciting times ahead.

I agree with you, Barcelona is very lucky to win the match. Because Dembele managed to score a goal in the last minute before the match ended.
So I call it an ugly win, anyway Barcelona can still get 3 points, and that's the most important thing for now. Barcelona's next match will face Real Madrid,
then Atletico Madrid will face Betis. These are the two important matches that will determine who deserves to be the winner of the La Liga trophy,

That really was a close one for Barcelona! And not winning that match would have been an utter flop, In the end all that matters was the 3 points, regardless of when or how the goal came about.

Next week the team faces Real Madrid in another must win (or at least cannot afford to lose) game, Barcelona will really need to step up their ahead of the show down, because there are not much room for mistakes any longer.

I agree that Barcelona should have won this much easier than this score. They hardly secured a win with the goal came in the 90th minute. Valladolid tried to keep the score at 0-0 but they were devastated by the last-minute goal.
Barcelona haven't been losing in the league for 19 matches which is really insane. They are very dedicated for the championship now. They are only 1 point behind Atletico and it's for certain that the championship race will be awesome until the last week. If Barcelona manage to defeat Real Madrid next week, IMO Barcelona can really become the champions at the end.

Valladolid was the better side at this game. Yes Barcelona played a good game but, to have been kept at bay by Valladolid, they remain the better side to this meeting even though they still lost the game. Barcelona was so lucky with the ball and Dembele in the last minute of normal time. Real Madrid could have had no reason to fear for its worst rivary to the Laliga title.
Atletico Madrid is now on the watch as the two feirced team in the race to the Laliga trophy are so close by. Barca was so lucky to have had this one in the bag and they've got only Dembele to thank for.

The main problem is that Real Madrid also wants to participate in the championship race and therefore also wants to beat Barcelona  Unfortunately, Valladolid could not endure a little bit and slow down Barcelona, but Barcelona is a big club and the ability to achieve the desired result even in the last minutes is part of the concept of a big club. The biggest danger of large series is that any series tends to end sometime, and the longer the series goes on, the more likely it is to end. El classico can play in favor of Atletico in a week's time, if Real Madrid wins or there is a draw.

Weird season that begins the first half with domination from Atletico Madrid and serials of issues for Barcelona (new coach, drama, bad results) and injuries in Real Madrid. Dembele goal was really crucial for the win, and it was obvious by the way all team players even the #GOAT (Lionel Messi) ran up to celebrate the goal with him. Dembele has shown that he wants it this season, and has shown hunger for the ball. That goal was really a heart breaker for many non Barcelona fans worldwide, no one was expecting to see a last minute goal. Barcelona's next game against Real Madrid will be be very crucial for the league title. May the best team win.
