It's anyones guess what could happen, my personal opinion is that it will bounce back in typical Bitcoin fashion... bounce back with a vengance, probably to new record highs. Off course, just my opinion... anything is possible.
We are all just guesting here we dont know what will happen in the future we dont consider that there are new company who is rising in the name of crypto currency, we still have chance to success good luck to all bitcoiners. Right. Look at it now, the price pumped 700-800 dollars pretty quickly after beig stagnant for a few days. Who knows if it will hit 5k again. Remaining positive no Matter what happens is very important for you to actually succeed in your investment. Bitcoin and other crypto currencies can make you rich if you are ready to actually remain positive over all your position. I have been trying to teach people how to buy and hold coins for long-term and one thing that I think is very important for them is to remain optimistic about they open position.
Well your outlook towards your investment could very well determine if you'll succumb to panic or not. If you trust in btc, of course the price decline wouldn't mean that much for you since it's only at a moment's instance. Being negative about it makes you uneasy and nervous whenever the price drops. |

I believe the 2018 bitcoin will be worth it. I still take time to invest bitcoin. There are many bitcoin plans that I need to make this year. Nowadays, a lot of people know about bitcoin and expand it. The thing I need to do with bitcoin is to scrutinize the price of each penny I hold. Continue to participate fully in the bitcoin campaign.
I will stick to my plan no matter what the price of bitcoin. We all have goal this year that needs to be achieve and I believe bitcoin will help us. I strongly believe that the price of bitcoin at the end of 2018 is beyond $20k and I'm so excited for that things, for now I will just continue to buy bitcoin at a cheaper price no reason to panic. While there is nothing wrong with having a plan and in fact it is recommended that you do at the same time you need to be flexible, you need to be able to adjust to the circumstances in the market if you do not then you could lose an opportunity that could give you significant gains and that is never a good thing. Being able to adjust is part of a plan. I probably would be a bit flexible to a few btcs but in bulk, i'm holding for long term. 2018 will be a good year or not, i don't know. And honestly i'm not too concerned about it. I'm looking way ahead in the future |

I dont know about short term, we could go lower or we could go higher, but in the long term i am positive we will break ATH again. I recon somewhere in 2020 to 2022 range Right now the price seems to bounce a little at $68++ so yeah I believed can the price could go as high as $73++ before we can see any movement (down/up). There's a lot of levels before we can see a big pump as there are no positive news that will influence the market or the investors to put more money in the ecosystem. And right now daily traders are the dominating the trading activity, if we see a good pump of around $500, what follow it a series of dumping to make some easy profit. Of course, I'm not into it because, I'm more of a long term holder, so I'm not bother by short spurts. Would rather see what will be the price at the end of the year and decides if I'm gonna hold longer or take some profit. Well i don't know what happened but btc suddenly pumped above 7.5k lol. So that settles the issue of it going to 7.3k. Though it could very well be a trap but a lot of people are feeling good about it right now |

I believe in the future of bitcoin, but if I want to leave something for children for their future, I will choose real estate. I want to make sure for the kids because real estate is always the safest channel if we have money available. I believe that we should have those investments, life is full of risk in the future, we don't know what could happen in bitcoin, in the stock market, in real estates or even investing in gold or silver so if you can maximize your money by investing in them then match better than having nothing in the future. It seems to me that it's better to turn your attention to a new alternative coin, and not just fixate on Bitcoin. If you keep only Bitcoin, then perhaps you are devotees risking your income and all your financial condition. If your attention is focused on a few coins, then their investment can really bring you a good profit, while taking less risk. Amoh the three i'd probably gobfor real estate. The two others aren't as stable as having a physical asset such as lamd properties. I'd probably teach them about btc or stocks once they're old enough and i probably would be saving some btc but their future would probably be more secure with real estate investments |

I'm not worried about volatility in the prices of bitcoin. I saw a major trend. The price does not fall below 6500 dollars. It's bottom. I do not know how long it will take to restore bitcoin, but the fact that we are on the way to recovery is for sure. I hope that very soon we will see it and cry on the forum will stop.
Lol. There's been a lot of "bottoms" this year and each time, bitcoin goes below the bottom. I also though last january that it's impossible for btc to go below 10k and i've been proven wrong many times so i've learned to just go with the flow here. Btc will recover no matter how low it goes and that's all i need to know. |

Bitcoin at $25,000 is all our expectation if not above the said amount but no one can be optimistic about the speculation on when will bitcoin value will hit $25,000 in the nearest future.
It's not the only expectation that everyone has been waiting. But if it will be seen next to that price or near that price then we all know on where it is heading. Most are optimistic with bitcoin but there are also many that are pessimistic with what they can see base on the market. We have to wait and chill at this moment, the market's price is $6,800 and this has been stable here for a week. Well i think it's not a question if it can, since we've seen last december that it can go on a rampage in a short period of time. I personally believe it will though when, i'm not sure. It may even go lower than it's current price right now. Keep it positive guys we'll allnget through this red market |

High likelihood it will drop more or stay relatively even considering how the market is struggling to get above the moving average on just about every graph short or long term. I'm going to be selling some coins to try and buy back in after a day or two with the way things are looking right now. But there's been a lot of negative days so it wouldn't be surprising to also have the market try to recover a little bit of that. I'd say april could turn out to be a nice run up as well.
Well at this point some of my alts are pretty moving positively so that at least is one positive thing coming out of this sideways btc movement. But i agree, i won't be surprised if btc continues to drop and probably will be bearish until the ber months  |

Bitcoin is great that is why is not surprise to all of us here, if bitcoin price hit 50,000 but it will happened if many people sell or convert or use their bitcoin as means of payment so the demand increase the price is also increase. Well i won't take that seriously same as those saying btc will end at 3k or less. It will when it will. Having too high or too low expectation won't really help you and can only cause either panic or greediness. I'd keep cool about it and manage my expectations conservatively |

The thing you guys should understand is that Rome was not built in a day, and the fact that you heard some people who have held their coins over the years have made a lot does not make a newbie to just think they can easily just come within a year and expect the bitcoin price to just skyrocket all of a sudden. Maybe you should know by now that it took about seven years plus to even get to this stage. Plummeting is not the end of the world; it is just the beginning of better movements ahead. So you are mad because of all this people? we all knew that this kind of downtrend was more than needed after all. I am not even worried by a little of what is happening to cryptos nowadays, most people thinks that it is the end because of a little crash. Just stop with this surrounding, we all know what is really happening in here The best thing you can do at present is to stay away from those who are spreading false news about bitcoin or the crypto market itself. This is awfully childish to believe that this minor crash in the prices of crypto currency is going to put this amazing technology to an end. It's been a while since we have experienced a bloody market since the start of this year. So many ups and downs as the bearish market persists but bitcoin never touched 5,000$ so far this year and 3,000$ mark seems impossible to happen this time.
Yes were in bearish for more than 3 months now, and we needs this a bullish market. Even their is ups and downtrend let us think market somehow will recover. Everything is possible but as claims to $3000 I don't see it will go to that price. Hopefully it doesn't lol. Bears seems to be overpowering the bulls mostly for 2018 and there seems to be no clear sign that it will change. I'll be happy if it stays sideways so my alts can move positively  |

No, I think you should remove one zero. Looking at the market now, $10k or $15k at the end of 2018 would be good. 2019 may be a different story, however.
You think we should remove. Maybe for end of this year we might see this 15k to be maxed price but believe that next one will bring some new ATH for many coins not just bitcoin. Last price was in 2013 four year passed and we saw in 2017 now believe we will see in 2019 something similar if not the same. This year will be stability more rather then price increase. Yes, there may be a new ATH in 2019, I would not be surprised by it in the slightest. This year will be either boring (going sideways for months, and this is a good scenario) or bearish. Of course, it too has the huge expectation on Bitcoin because already we have seen some drastic growth in the year 2017. In this coming months or in the next year we might see new ATH price for Bitcoin. But Op is expecting too much in short period of time. Right. Reaching $100k in 2018 would mean 100x price increase in 2 years (2017-2018). I do not think this is possible. Unfortunately, the market great fall scared many investors and they simply gave up. Thus, I do not think that Bitcoin has many chances to reach 100 thousand (at least, this year). Lol. How can one even arrive at a certain figure. Bitcoin's volatility already taught a lot of us that it can't be tamed. It can go to that high, or we may be stuck below 10k for the whole year, no one knows. After the price is often down and slow to rise higher like last year, what exactly do you expect, do you expect the price to go down to buy or expect the price to rise high?
I think it's natural for bitcoin prices to go up and down because I think it is a very good moment and easy to guess, just imagine if you can read the movement of bitcoin price conditions it will be easy to get a lot of profits. Fluctuation is always there in bitcoin price, but i think overall the bitcoin price is continuously increasing, and for now as the bitcoin price is trading too much stable for a long time. Although it is difficult to give a 100% correct speculation about bitcoin price but still i would like to say that more chances are that bitcoin price will very soon start increasing, because still bitcoin price has too much potential and therefore more chances are that its price will increase more in near future. Yes that is right, but in current time the bitcoin price is in downward direction, and even it is expected by some investors that the price will remain down for some more time and after the July 2018 the price will again starting recovering and at the end of 2018 may be the price of bitcoin recover its previous high price and will even continue increasing making a new all time high price. Therefore i think it will be a wise decision if we continue holding our bitcoin. It would be much wiser if you know the reason behind the price declination of Btc and other coins than just depending on your intuation. It'll make your investment more profitable and can easily decide when setting a specific target, than just holding and waiting endlessly for new ATH. I don't also think that the movement is better last year since we only had a significant pump towards the yearend. Btc was moving pretty slowly then with a lot of drops also. And not a lot of people expected that btc would hit 20k as well. Don't expect too much whether its a pump or a drop. |

I want to say that nothing is impossible in the world of cryptocurrency, you should not be too pessimistic if the end of 2018 bitcoin only touches $6k - $7k. I think bitcoin at the end of this year will reach its newest ATH and it's very possible because so far the bitcoin price movement is so unreasonable  There are no more fuds presents now, if only there will be some hyped again even once I think it will start to boost continuously, many lost hope when they bought btc before at peak, that they think its no longer wait for the hold, but soon they will realize how they lose their opportunity and just choose to give up. No more fud right now but that doesn't mean there won't be any coming. There will still be a lot coming our way so best be prepared. Mt.gox will resume selloff sept. So many are probably looking at that to sell as well before it happens. I'm pretty certain btc will recover though but if not, crypto is a very broad market and i believe in what it's trying to promote. So i'll stay |

Well it's not entirely like that since we saw last december that alts were mooning as well along with btc. When btc is plunging, then most of the time it takes alts with it and the entire market bleeds. I guess that's because alts still base their value in btc.

Waking up this morning with green numbers on the charts: Cryptocoin prices today. Will this mean that everybody believes in Crypto coins again? Let's hope that the prices rises to the moon. That the price is lowering don't mean that people are having disbelief in cryptocurrency (though some people are losing hope already); around the world, many people still believe in Cryptos yet the price is dipping. Anything could have caused the price dump. So we shouldn't blame it on people losing faith in it. Everyday, can't be a day of rosy, some days could be thrones also. Just try making the best out of your situation. And bitcoin is pretty much becoming steady at 6.8-7k and we all kow that alts benefit if btc is moving sideways. Though i don't think that alts will moon this way. Probably not until the end of the year again. |

Well it may still get lower that what it is now and probably a good thing to do is to invest sparingly. Try to test the waters. Again we can't predict how the price will move so don't be hasty. As a newbie i am so hype knowing that Bitcoin will go up again, like last year? Who knows? maybe next moth  Bitcoin is a decentralised cryptocurrency so it is hardly predict in crypto market. Because every year some issues are affected in the Crypto market but again this was recover in June so we must wait for the two months it will raise soon. This year 30k USD is possible in Bitcoin so we don't worry the future of Bitcoin. I think next month 10 to 12k USD is possible. We'll never know that's why its better not ti expect. All those figures you've given don't mean anything honestly. There's no way to tell if btc will breakout or remain stagnant at this range for a long time. Again the best thing to do now is to manage your expectations. |
