I heard (castle owners hear all things...) that in Tallinn it is EUR 15-20 and sold in sealed packets of a gram each. Nach Jahren Abstinenz schaue ich mir gerade mal wieder Matrix 1 an. Als der Film 99 in die Kinos kam hat er mich damals extremst geflasht ... ich kam aus dem Kino und mir war schwindelig. Mir wird immer klarer warum ich vom ersten Tag an so verrückt nach Bitcoin war. Bitcoin war meine rote Kapsel. Ich bedauere das ich erst so spät von Bitcoin erfuhr, aber vorher wusste ich gar nicht das ich danach auf der suche war. Ich hätte auch schon 2008/9 komplett daran geglaubt, gemint und/oder bitcoins gekauft. Naja - man kann nicht alles haben. Es ist wie es ist und ich will mich nicht beschweren. Das leben mit der Bitcoin ist nicht einfacher sondern schwerer. Was wäre wenn ich noch immer in der Matrix hängen würde, und von Bitcoin erst in ein paar Jahren erfahren würde? Es wäre sicher vieles einfacher. Wann werde ich nicht mehr den Code [Kurs] sehen sondern nur noch Blonde, Brünette und Rothaarige .... Weiß jemand von was ich spreche? Bin nur ich so extrem auf Bitcoin? Wie geht es euch?   wow, wo kommt denn dieser thread plötzlich her ? märz 2013, das war genau der zeitpunkt meines re-entry in bitcoin. (die ersten coins hatte ich 2011 gekauft, aber ohne zu wissen, was das eigentlich ist und leider ohne dieses forum entdeckt zu haben.) im märz 2013 hat es dann aber dafür noch ordentlicher gescheppert, als ich damit begann mich eingehender mit der thematik zu beschäftigen. das leben ist seitdem nicht mehr dasselbe und es fühlt sich viel länger an als nur 18 monate ... (die "bitcoin zeit" verläuft irgendwie anders.) selten wurde ich so hart und schnell in eine neue sache "reingesaugt" wie in bitcoin. nach den ersten "i have seen teh light" momenten war mir klar, das ist etwas ganz grosses, das könnte für eine echte umwälzung der verhältnisse sorgen. durch einige technikgeschichtliche seminare zum thema digitalisierung unserer gesellschaft war ich sensibilisiert (und auch der umstand, dass ich die entstehung des internets intellektuell komplett verschlafen hatte und nicht wollte, dass mir das nochmal passiert. wenn man sich nur ansieht, was die digitalisierung mit den bereichen informationsverarbeitung oder selbst nur in bereichen wie der fotografie "angerichtet" hat und man das auf das finanzwesen überträgt, dann wird einem die größenordnung der anstehenden veränderungen klarer). nach anfänglichen vorsichtigeren einstiegsversuchen (avalon batch III, avalon chips, temporären verlusten beim abrauchen von bitcoin24 und bitcoin-central) reifte der entschluss so massiv wie möglich einzusteigen. denn neben dem gesellschaftlichen und technischen aspekt wurde ich immer überzeugter davon, dass es sich hier um eine "once a lifetime" investitionsmöglichkeit handelte. aus sehr einfachen verhältnissen stammend, hatten mehr als zwei jahrzehnte berufstätigkeit/selbständigkeit mich aller aufstiegs-illusionen beraubt, das hamsterrad drehte sich ausweglos. (...) ein paar tausend posts und 18 monate später ist das ganze immer noch aufregend/unglaublich und interessant. es ist/war nicht immer einfach weiter normal berufstätig zu bleiben und auch die familie darf ja nicht zu kurz kommen und da gab es schon auch momente, wo mir meine frau klar gemacht hat, dass ständiges chart checken und forum lesen/posten z.b. im urlaub, unangemessen ist (kennt ihr das: familienbesuch, alles toll, kurz mal ein blick auf den kurs... Ooooh !!! was ist denn da los, scheisse, hatte ich da noch ein paar kauforder offen auf stamp ?! -- ich muss mal kurz an den rechner... ). meinen stash habe ich on top of the bubble nicht verkauft, hardcore hodler (hatte bedenken wegen der verlässlichkleit der börsen, dachte, der kurs steigt eh noch weiter, bin kein guter trader). ernste zweifel kamen erst vor kurzem, ein kurs von 226,- € hat mich schon darüber grübeln lassen die notbremse zu ziehen... fazit: komplett hineingesaugt in die neue dezentrale bitcoinwelt, auf bitcoin konferenzen und lokalen meetings "real-life" bitcoiner kennen und schätzen gelernt, vollkommen infiziert, das leben vor und nach dem entdecken von bitcoin hat sich sehr verändert. und jetzt entdecke ich diesen thread aus genau der zeit, in der es für mich begonnen hat.  wow, euch allen weiterhin ein gute reise richtung "age of crypto" und danke an alle hier im forum, die mit jedem positiven posting (damit meine ich nicht "unkritisch") mithelfen dieses weltweit und historisch einmalige soziale und technische experiment weiterzuentwickeln. |

Nicht die Erscheinung der Cryptocoins an sich löst das Umverteilungsproblem, sondern allein der Umgang mit der Vermögensfrage. So wie viele Lottomillionäre nach ein paar Jahren tot oder unglücklich sind, geschieht es auch vielen Crypto-Enthusiasten. Man kann eine Milliarde ganz schnell verbrennen.

Global Well-Being Since 1820“ – zumindest auf den ersten Blick ernüchternd ist untertrieben. 1820, dass war vor der industriellen revolution. da hat goethe noch 12 jahre gelebt, deutschland war ein flickenteppich aus fürstentümern. der (staats)feind war der bürgerliche demokrat. da kann man mal sehen wie gewaltig die deutsche sozialdemokratie in historischem maßstab komplett verkackt hat. hambacher fest, revolution 1848, , die industrielle revolution, die entstehung der klasse der arbeiter, die reichsgründung, weltkrieg I, revolution, demokratie, diktatur, weltkrieg II, teilung, wiedervereinigung ---- und die einkommen sind immer noch gleich verteilt wie vor fast 200 jahren ?my ass, soziale marktwirtschaft my ass, "leistung muss sich wieder lohnen" my ass, sozialstaat my ass, bildungsreformen, bildung für alle wir wurden/werden in historischem ausmass verarscht. die letzten 200 jahre waren die umwälzendsten der menscheitsgeschichte. wenn die ungerechte einkommensverteilung sich als hier als konstante erweist, dann könnte man jede hoffnung auf mehr gerechtigkeit fahren lassen. und hier geht es "nur" um einkommen. würden man sich die vermögen anschauen, dann sähe es noch trostloser aus. wäre ja super, wenn sich ausgerechnet unsere lieblingskryptowährung als motor einer endlich gründlichen umverteilung der vermögen erweisen würde... ende rant

First, people are different. Races are different, but it doesn't mean we have to disparage one another.
The most important source for the differences is evolution, because comparative advantages in Africa
are different than ones in Europe. If I'd have to live in Africa, my life expectancy would be much shorter,
for many reasons, but mainly for resistance to infections. Mutations that make people infection resistant
don't come free, sometimes they can make people dumb. Sickle cell is an example, quoting:
