I don't think the actual website Yobit is a scam. I used it for about a year or so and never had any issues. Most of the complaints on their thread are because of sh1tcoins which made people lose money but its not the exchanges fault. But I don't trust their dice gambler.

It was inactive for a while because it was abandoned by a previous owner. It has now been restored. Inactive for very long time? But I ever saw that someone claimed that they being hacked by this satoshi.xyz. I dont know anything ajout previous owner but until that time the site is online but there is no reply from previous owner. Dont think this making any sense though.
