Matchweek 38 has been unlocked and we can finally make our final Majestic 7 picks of the season  Smiley

My [preliminary] picks: Auba - Jay - Giroud - Son - Martial - Sterling - Mane

not completely sure on Jay Rodriguez, but i think this will be my final list
Good list as I am also looking for last round picks I have few picks as you but Son and Mane both not in my list others all going for me in my final list good luck to all for final round.

@tomahawk9 yea one final attempt to win that big price and hopefully someone will win it on the final day, and even if we don’t win it I have no issues cause participating in this competition was really entertaining, and kept us more glued to the screens whenever our selected player was playing. Also my final picks are Greenwood, Keita, Kane, Sterling, Giroud, Rodriguez, Aubameyang, and personally it was a tough call to drop Martial out, but under the circumstances I feel Greenwood has better chances of scoring.

Gareth Bale's agent Jonathan Barnett accused Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane of being an ungrateful tactician. Bale-Zidane polemic is indeed almost happened throughout this season. The discussion was lively again when the player seemed reluctant in Madrid celebrations
I think for the next season both of them have to improve relations...
Bale is still one of Madrid's best strikers, to be honest, as a Madrid fan, I was very disappointed when Bale was not played in the match against Leganes ago.

Benzema is the most valuable striker in the team.
I wonder why even the Real Madrid fans do not recognize him as the best in the team. In my opinion, he is one of the greatest legends in the Real Madrid history possibly compared with Raul.
Bale got an offer in chinese league some few months ago before covid-19 he rejected that offer at the last minutes despite his strain relationship with Zidane he stayed having been convinced madrid has injury problems then I think he deserve some respect based on his contribution to his club I believed this is the appropriate time to leave  Madrid and build his career elsewhere, Zlatan had been doing well with Milan Bale can also perform well in another club despite the fact age is not on side, he has alot to offer considering his experience and pedigree in the game of soccer.

Bale could have gone to China but it's obvious that he didn't want to go there.
I really don't understand his motives and the reasons why he decided to stay in Real.
His relations with Zidane and the club have been permanently damaged and it must be clear to him that Real no longer counting on him.
What he really wants?
Just money,  fun or wanting revenge on Real?

That situation simply makes no sense, he is already damaged player. His mentality has changed whether he knows it or not yet.He probably thinks he is playing some kind of a mind game, but when you get into that kind of mindset it is hard to get back to normal.

He is out of football, his mind is power struggles, money or who knows what and I don't put the blame on Bale only just make that clear. Real is equally responsible if not even more then Bale for his situation.

He is missing good years and we are missing a chance to watch that kind of player play with joy. He would be much better of to go back to England.

There would be no happier person then myself if Bale was to be bought by Man Utd and get relegated to right back/wing instead playing in attack.

I don’t know if you’ll remember or no but Zidane had quit RM because Perez (RM president) refused to sell Bale, and when Zidane came back Bale decided to leave and he had in fact accepted that Chinese offer, but in the end RM decided to cancel the Chinese deal. Furthermore Zidane doesn’t care for Bale and Bale has also lost respect for Zidane hence it’s best if Bale leaves RM, but Bale huge wages are proving a problem for any club who wishes to purchase him.

Ferrari have, predictably, announced a management restructure: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formula1/53503786

It sounds like they are going about it the right way. Instead of sacking everyone and starting again, they are switching away from a flat management structure and more towards the system used by Red Bull and Mercedes, where there are clear areas of accountability. The biggest decision could be bringing Rory Byrne back to a prominent position and putting him to work on the 2022 car. This makes a lot of sense. Byrne is undoubtedly talented, and it would be a waste to have him making minor tweaks to this year's car and the 2021 car when he could instead play an important role in the massive changes coming in 2022.

I think it's a good decision for the long-term success of the team, but does it suggest that Ferrari have already started to give up on being a title challenger this year and next?

This are excellent news and finally a move in the right direction. Rory is certainly a man for long term plans and vision. he can build a top car. I wouldn't mind waiting until 2022. for a real car and a team that has a head and the tail.

I see this as a sign that eyes have finally opened in Ferrari and we can look forward to some better days, one year extra does not mean much to true Tifosi.

@Cnut237 I’m really surprised that Ferrari isn’t sacking Binnotto, but this restructuring also makes sense considering how successful Mercedes has been after it’s implementation so let’s hope that it works for Ferrari too. @CryptoViking you’re right as Ferrari has indeed sacrificed a year because they’re planning for long term success which is vital for them, and in my personal opinion post 2022 they should be able to win titles like they use to win before.

The German Kicker once again connects Thiago to FC Liverpool. FC Bayern München is looking for €30m, while Liverpool isn't sure if Thiago fits in the team. No decision has yet been made.

Thiago wants to join Liverpool and Bayern expect around €30m. However, the English club has doubts over Thiago's age & whether he'd fit into the team. In addition, LFC are working within a limited budget, which is why they didn't sign Werner although Klopp wanted him [Kicker]

Source: https://twitter.com/iMiaSanMia/status/1286070620393033728

In my opinion it would be pretty sad for us FC Bayern fans, if Thiago leaves, but if he want to have a new experience at the end of his career that's understandable I guess.

Thiago is a great player, I love the way he controls the pace of games. Be interesting to see how he does in the PL, I hope Liverpool sign him, I think they need a creative midfielder because teams defend so deeply against them.

@bullrun2020bro @DeathAngel yea he’ll most likely sign for Liverpool as Liverpool want to spend less in this transfer window, and $30 million is a bargain for a player of his caliber but the final call will be of Kloop, who’s been silent on this transfer hence we’ll have to wait and see whether he approves this transfer or no. Also it seems that Manchester City has moved ahead in the race to sign Kalidou Koulibaly, but I’m sincerely hoping that Manchester United will wake up and sign him as we desperately need a defender like him.

4025  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Big decision by the OCC - Banks can now hodl Bitcoins. on: July 23, 2020, 09:42:36 AM
The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (USA) has allowed banks to hodl bitcoins on behalf of their clients, and this is a big news because banks will now be able to offer crypto related service’s for their clients. However I’m skeptical of this news too because banks may charge higher fees, and try and profit from each and every transaction their clients make. Lastly what do you’ll think of this move, will it actually help bitcoins in the long run or not?.

Quote

Big banks have long held precious objects on behalf of their customers—from jewels in safe-deposit boxes to shares of stock. Now, thanks to a new policy by a federal banking regulator, they will be able to hold cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin too.

The new policy is set out in a letter published on Wednesday by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC). The letter, addressed to an unnamed bank, stated that national banks and savings associations can engage in so-called custody services for their clients.

The news is significant because regulatory uncertainty has until now led major banks to avoid Bitcoin.

4026  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India may again ban cryptocurrency on: July 23, 2020, 06:54:16 AM
There's a possibility of India to ban crypto again. According to an article by decrypt, "A new bill in India may be proposing up to ten years of prison or fines up to $3.3 million for using cryptocurrency."
If the bill passed, the chance of having Indian into the crypto space will be very low as the punishment is too high.
Source- https://decrypt.co/32160/india-considers-another-widespread-ban-on-bitcoin

Actually i think ban and acceptance is a part of any matter specially if it goes with economic sector it need more excrement. Not only INDIA but also many government now in experiment trial with cryptocurrency. As it is decentralized and no world wide regulated body so they must think more and more time before acceptance. I think its a good news for BTC because the more it matter will happen in different countries people will know more about it and lately they will accept it.

The bill is usually very close to being passed although the ruling was initially legal the Supreme Court later ruled that since cryptocurrency is not a legal tender IMAI filed a lawsuit in the Supreme Court. They claim that cryptocurrency is basically a kind of product these digital currencies are not made by any country's government or central bank so they later banned it.

No. The bill was not even finalized. In short, the proposal was not put in to a bill. The person who came up with this proposal (Subhash Chandra Garg, the then Finance Secretary of India) was fired even before he could finalize it (he was fired for incidents unrelated to cryptocurrency). Right now, there is no ban on cryptocurrency in India. However, there is a ban on the usage of cryptocurrency as legal tender.

@bryant.coleman I did a quick google search to find if Bitcoin’s are yet legal in India, and I have found out that the Indian government is preparing to pass a law which will make it illegal to hold, transfer or even mine bitcoins. Further according to the article the government has swung into action because India’s top court had ruled that bitcoins were legal in India, and they may very soon pass this bill which will completely crush bitcoins market in India.

4027  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: July 23, 2020, 04:22:26 AM
I haven't posted in this thread in a while, no tennis tournaments made not so many topics to discuss. Today I read an article that the big 3 chose not to take part in the US Open 2020, but Thiem has announce still participate in US Open and I think He has big change to win the throphy, the article is a month ago .

https://www.sportskeeda.com/tennis/news-dominic-thiem-confirms-us-open-participation-will-also-play-cincinnati

As I expected, the big 3 are going to pass the US Open and we have a discussions about this and a good chance for other players to be the next champion few pages back. You can't really blame the big 3 for not participating specially Nadal because of the current situation in the US. So for sure we will see another name to win the US Open 2020.

Citi Open has officially cancelled it's tournament as well,

Well I'm with you on this we can't blame them for not wanting to participate at the US Open with what is going on with the virus there. The main thing stopping them is being able to return to Europe after being in the US. This now opens up the door for lower ranked players and a few players that have been close to winning but fall towards the end when they come up against the top players so I think its going to be an interesting tournament to watch to see if we finally see a young talent win.

@vella85 indeed we cannot blame them for skipping the US open, and while the virus is the primary reason they’re keen to skip the tournament, the second reason is that the French open is starting just few days after the US open, and hence they won’t be able to participate in it due to quarantine rules if they return from USA. Also many of us including me have said before, and I’ll repeat that I strongly feel that Thiem can win this tournament, as there’s no competition for him unless Djokovic decides to participate in the tournament.

From what I have been reading, Nadal will most likely skip the US Open and concentrate on the clay season which starts a week after the US Open which makes sense as its favoured surface to play on. With Djokovic he said that he would like to play at the US Open however he is worried about returning to Europe with the strict quarantine rules in place for people coming into Europe from the US. More about this can be read in the article below.

=> https://tennishead.net/novak-djokovic-ready-to-commit-to-us-open-but-his-one-key-condition-is-revealed/
Nadal is the king of clay and no one doubts it. Moreover, this is a great opportunity for him to be able to equal Roger Federer's record in the number of GrandSlam trophies.

With a lot of major players not taking part, this is perhaps the best opportunity that a lot of players will ever have to win a grand slam tournament. The fact that they are having to balance something they've aimed for their whole careers against the effects of an ongoing global pandemic is bizarre and unprecedented. But that is the situation.

Young players especially in the men's section should be able to take advantage of this opportunity, although often what they achieve will always be associated with this weird condition.
D. Thiem is my favourite to lift the US Open trophy this year.

@Strongkored Wawrinka is also skipping the US open along with Nadal, and this will be an excellent opportunity for Djokovic and Thiem to try and win it because there will be very less competition against them. Also there’s some worrying news too as Djokovic has yet not made up his mind whether he’ll participate in the US Open or no because of the strict Quarantine rules in place, and it’ll be really sad if he too decides to skip it.

It is so unfortunate to see them going up and down in the divisions.
Nurnberg is a historical team and I wonder what it goes wrong and they do not have the power and the good performance to stay on the first division for many seasons.

Yes you are right on that , and as i have written already they are holding and having the record for the most going up and down Club in the history in the German League.
So im realy glad and happy that they managed to stay in the second League , would be sad to see the in 3rd League.
Hope they will play better in the coming season.

Now it is Deniz Aytekin.

For my personal opinion i like Aytekin also , because he has a littl bit of something that Pierluigi Collina has got .
By the way this was and is the best referee all time for me.

@Lafu I’ll second that because had they been relegated to the third league, then it would have been a total disaster, but hopefully they’ll perform better next season and secure their spot to play in Bundesliga once again. Further it seems that Sancho may finally secure his transfer from Dortmund to Manchester United for $80 million, but the only worrying point is if Dortmund get greedy and demand for more money, then this transfer may just collapse what do you’ll think will happen.

@seoincorporation yahoo is an experienced gambler hence I’m not surprised that he got those big numbers, but it’ll be interesting to know if he used any strategies to get those results?. Also I wasn’t aware of the fast dice speed at LB, so how many rolls can a user roll within a minute at LB?.

I like reloads! Smiley Especially when I manage to make something bigger out of them, like I did today:

At first I lost more than two times of my today's reload, and then BOOM!, I hit it! Winning when the win chance is just 0.1% always feels good. Smiley

I'm wondering is there a decrease in PD Forum's attendance in the last several months? Because if there is a decrease, maybe it's because people like me, who don't use VPN, can't access the site?

Can you guys make a mirror version of the forum, like you did with the dice site?

@Betwrong even I like reloads as I keep on trying my luck with them but so far I haven’t won anything, because I keep on trying to hit 999 but each and every time I just end up loosing only. However it’s nice to see that you won using your reload money, and even though it’s small now I’m feeling inspired once again to try my luck, and I will update you’ll if I hit 999 and win something.
4033  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake 3 Out Now!!! 🚀 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: July 21, 2020, 04:14:29 AM
Remember, I'm not complaining about Stake at all. I'm complaining about these providers. That's an important distinction.

It seems to me that you are complaining about their decision to side with all these non provably fair game provider  Tongue but I truly get your point and your frustration on this matter. For a site like Stake that boast their site being provably fair to side with all these game providers might seems to be an unpleasant thing to some people

They have made their decision and have put all those 3rd party game on their site, This will be a starting point to wether Stake will be more popular in the future with all these new games or this would be their downfall for siding with non provably fair provider. I personally choose to believe on the former option  Wink

Well atleast Stake put the house edge of those 3rd party game in the game description unlike some other site that host the same game  Roll Eyes

You should try and check their live game like Monopoly, its fun to watch even if you are not betting any  Tongue

@arallmuss @actmyname while I’m yet checking the games I have to ask when did Stake plan this big upgrade, because few days ago when members here were asking for new games they did not provide any insight that these games would be coming this month. Also I saw the live monopoly it’s indeed fun to watch, and I can’t wait to wager some small amounts to test it and hopefully win the big price too.

Btw, why Stake team has no interest to cooperate with live dealer providers for better user experience?
I guess they want to maintain their list of games being provably fair.  It's easy for them to get a third party provider and get more games but it's better if they slowly release their own games as they'll be known for the uniqueness of their games instead of having several games that could be seen on tons of casinos.

Exactly and I do not think that Stake has intentions to provide live dealer games. Even if they want to do so in the future, I guess they will provide it themselves without 3rd party providers. Having original games created by themselves is better than providing tons of games from 3rd party providers.
Even if one day they decide to do live dealers for some reason (probably earning more money) they would probably do it themselves and not a provider. It is not really that hard to have few managers, few dealers and some tables in a place and pay them to make more money, however it is one of the costliest ways to start a game and you can never really make it provably fair as well which is a big hit to stake's mindset. They are known to be obsessed about provably fair, they even had like this organization or something for provably fair casinos in crypto world.

So, I do not think they will even consider it (and there is really not much reason to it) and even if by some magical luck that they do end up working on it, it will be purely stake workers and stake responsibility and not some third party provider.

We thought about that but its not as simple as it seems there is a lot of infrastructure needed to stream that 24/7

But who knows maybe one day Smiley
4034  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / PayPal and Mastercard are very close to integrate crypto’s payments!!! on: July 20, 2020, 05:31:19 PM
According to Coindesk latest article PayPal has selected Paxos to manage PayPal crypto’s transactions, and in my personal opinion this is a big development as PayPal is used by million people all over the globe, and soon they all will be able to buy and sell crypto’s using PayPal.

Furthermore another positive news i.e. Mastercard will allow wirex to issue crypto based cards, and it’s quiet possible that people maybe able to exchange their crypto’s for fiat instantly using those crypto based cards.

Lastly I believe that these two news shall motivate people to buy and hodl bitcoins, but then again it’s quiet possible that they may quickly sell it too, however what do you’ll think of these two news?.

Dears,

what is your recommendation about the countries that accept crypto business on it's land?

thanks

Anyhow, I'll just leave a link that contains countries where bitcoin is legal.
[1] https://www.investopedia.com/articles/forex/041515/countries-where-bitcoin-legal-illegal.asp

I don't know how accurate this article is but this is simply has an incorrect information about China.

China
Bitcoin is essentially banned in China. All banks and other financial institutions like payment processors are prohibited from transacting or dealing in Bitcoin. Cryptocurrency exchanges are banned.16 The government has cracked down on miners.

Surprisingly Investopedia has a wrong information with regards to China that is why I think some of their information of the article are also not reliable as well. Crypto is Illegal on popular belief but the truth is cryptocurrency might even be considered as a crypto-friendly country. China is home for two of the top crypto exchange by volume namely Huobi and OkEX that operates locally in China. Aside from that China is also home for mining rig manufacturers such as Bitmain not to mention China also has a lot of mining pools contributing the total mining power for Bitcoin. For the OP I suggest that if you are targeting a country the best thing you can do is to do your own research as well as asking the locals for their knowledge about the situation.

@Harlot China has changed their stance on bitcoins multiple times in the past, and hence the author of this article may not have updated it with the latest information, and therefore there’s mismatch between the current information and this article's contents. @ahmedsamir I would recommend you to start your crypto business in Japan, if you’re comfortable with the prevailing crypto laws out there.

So proven criminal activities can be traced to Bitcoin transactions, but Bitcoin transactions should not be investigated seeking suspicious criminal activity simply on the grounds that they were made using cryptocurrency.

This could likely become a targeted attack on cryptocurrency transactions, especially when it involves large amounts. The blockchain is transparent and all transactions can be traced, so are they attempting to collate data on transactions such as wallet and IP addresses in order to break the pseudo-anonymity?
Seeking complete privacy should not be suspicious.

We need an app to detect suspicious of illicit activities by the military and governments. Smiley

@gmjutt6 it’s really weird that government only sees bitcoin as a means to transfer illegal money, and designing an app won’t help as one yet cannot trace bitcoin transactions. Further all the transactions data are publicly available on the blockchain, then why do they need a specific app to monitor the transactions?. @Jet Cash i feel that it’s an futile attempt as those apps data can be hacked or manipulated, and I hope that the government doesn’t waste their fiat money by developing these kinds of apps.

I wonder if people will gamble more when crypto bull market will start. On one side they will have more money to spend, but on the other side betting on shitcoin pumps become can be a competition to the web casinos. Smiley
I guess they will.

Just like those bull run normal days where we don't mostly care how much we spend because the value in dollars was that much.
When there is a bull run in crypto, that means there are more people involved in crypto, that is almost always like that. When price goes up there are more people interested in crypto and that in return means there are more people gambling as well. That means when bull run starts there will be more people and that is why I think it would be more profitable for the casino as well. Think about it, the price of bitcoin goes up AND there is also more gamblers, they would basically be making a ton of profit in total.

I am not saying that is 100% guaranteed but a bull run is the most dollar-wise profitable thing that could happen for a casino. I think even pandemic did helped them get a lot of people as well, people were bored and played a lot more gambling, with bull run that would be even higher.
Those things are expected to be as is if the bull run comes again because that's the scene during the bull run. But as much as I want to continue discussing about bull run and its related to the casino industry.

Current leaderboard has been reset. Check the previous board for #1 and #2, they may not be much for other casinos player but they wagered  such amount.

@jossiel yea no point in discussing this now because bitcoin prices are down right now, hence it’ll take quiet a while before we witness the next bitcoins bull rally. Also wapax was on the top of the leaderboard till the midweek, but then s3rd4r decided that he wishes to occupy the top spot for himself, and he was successful in occupying it.

Hi @TheUltraElite, I saw your shared Big Win, Can I still congratulate you today? Even three years and nine months ago now.
Thanks, but I consider myself very lucky to have won that. Other users should not just gamble because I wont thinking they can win too. Without luck you may not win anything even after years of trying.

I was here during those times, six months before you hit the jackpot prize.
The spam on the forum often drowned some important topics at that time.

After you won that, is there anyone else who also won here?
Yes of course, wetsuit started this thread after I won so to make sure people posted about their wins Big wins at FreeBitco.in

It can also be seen that the lowest payout is still high because the value of bitcoin was still cheap then. I remember that the price of a bitcoin was only around 405 USD in those days.
Around 700USD at that time AFAIR. But the win amount in bitcoin is what I look after than the USD price.

It's almost October again, can we roll with you on the twentieth? Cheesy
You are free to roll whenever you want. Cheesy

@TheUltraElite you’re right winning those big prices totally depends on your luck, because in the past I too had hit 9999, and post that I have never been able to hit it again. Also yesterday I was able to hit 9887 and 9777 and I got really excited thinking that today I’ll be winning the big price, but sadly that didn’t happen however it’s fine because I’m going to continue till I win the jackpot price.

Someone can confirm this - the next international ODI match will be played on 30th this month, between England and Ireland in Southampton. England seems to be struggling against West Indies now, and therefore I would say that there is a realistic chance of an upset or two. Ireland is not in great form for the last 1-2 years, but a win against England can be life-changing for them.

@Vishnu.Reang yes it’s confirmed that England are playing Ireland on July 30th, and for next time you can always type Country Sport Fixture in google, e.g. England Cricket Fixtures as that’ll help you see all the upcoming fixtures quickly. Furthermore Ireland captain has warned England that they have the potential to cause an upset, but in my personal opinion England has a superior squad, hence I feel that we won’t be witnessing any upset in this fixture.

So it looks like the Olympics this year has been postponed and rescheduled for July 23- Aug 8 2021 based on https://tokyo2020.org/en/.

We do hope that by that time, this pandemic is over and everyone is back to normal. So we need to wait for a full year before we can witnessed the greatest sporting event.
We can only hope that the situation will be better and we can only expect that happens if we are able to develop a vaccine by that time if not we might not even see the Olympics or they will need to extend it further as the situation around the globe is not getting better as the wave of spread is hitting every now and then and there is no clear solution for that other than sitting at home and not getting exposed to the virus.

The game will be postponed for about a year from now, many things can happen that includes discovery of vaccine or cure to put a stop on this virus. Japan is also hit hard and if things didn't improve next year then the IOC doesn't have a choice but to let the schedule be move again to another date. But the anticipation is building already and I'm sure regardless on when the Olympics are going to commence, it will be spectacular and more anticipated than ever.

Japan was one of the countries which were able to control the pandemic in the initial stages. But now even they are witnessing an increasing number of cases. Now coming back to the vaccine, none of the anti-viral vaccines can be 100% effective. Scientists are saying that if the vaccine is 70% effective, then the spread of Coronavirus can be contained. If it is only 60% effective, then this won't be possible. Now let's wait and watch, whether the vaccines that are being developed right now can reach that stage of efficiency.

@btc_angela first of all it’s good to know that the Olympics has fixed a date in 2021, and secondly while people are wishing for a vaccine I’m not so sure that the athletes would be keen to inject an untested vaccine in their bodies, because there will be fears that those vaccines could effect their performance levels. @Vishnu.Reang as I have said before that vaccines take upto 10 years to be successfully manufactured, and all these vaccines would be manufactured in less than a year, hence I fear that they may do more harm then good.
