With a heavy heart i make the announcement that the server host has lost all of the data contained on the btcontracts server.
This means as well as all the hot wallet and database being lost - all backups of the wallet and site data that were stored on the server have also been lost.
I asked host to restore files from his back up as fault lays with him - he performed disk scans and imaging for two days in effort to recover the files but still no joy.
So I apologise to all investors - but now all funds (including my own) and data for the site are 100% lost and gone.
I have decided to start a new safer project unrelated to bitcoins to pay my rent.
I have sold the BTContracts script to an early investor of BTContracts He has told me he will relaunch it on a new domain soon and he will ensure that it has off site back ups every day. He said he will announce it here. Sorry every one.
I invested a lot in that website, I need some money back, keep us update, that is very annoying At least you are posting here |

Update, as promised.New Hosting - acquired. New DNS Provider - acquired. New Domain - work in progress. All funds\data etc are safe and will be restored ASAP. The reset counter has been frozen so you will still have plenty of time to carry on round #2 when we return. My ambition is still to be the most sophisticated Ponzi available, to achieve that, I believe we need to be successful on 3 fronts; - Automation - I believe the system is now fully automated without glitch
- Secure - Clearly the site was over exposed last night, this is what we are working on, intensely, now.
- Trust - I have been straight and up front with you guys throughout it all, at the game's peak there was over 40BTC in the wallet, all of which was safely returned to you, the players. I hope this is recognised and is taken into consideration going forward.
Sorry for the delay, hopefully you guys understand my reasoning behind the temporary freeze. This is great news, any ETA? I don’t want to rush it; "Do it right, do it once". Who is following this ponzi? salvo0097 thank you for having setting everything up but you need to work a bit more to attract new deposits, there are hundreds of players waiting to deposit in ponzis : this one should receive a lot of deposits because it has been created by a real member, it has paid each and every time it should and it pays awesomely 150%!!

Exact time can be seen in our FAQ (right at the bottom) http://ponzicoin.co.vu/faq.php, I'll make some tweaks to the status bar so its easier to see what any restart may take place. Okay very good : "When there are no new deposits in a 48 hour period the game is reset and we move on to the next round. All outstanding funds from that round will be lost. Currently, the next reset would be: 2014-02-28 08:17:34. This is of course subject to new deposits." It is very clear, except what percentage of the new round will be allowed to the old round, I know you are thinking about that and you will write it down when you will have decided. I think that 20% is far and doesn't slow down the new round much : there must be around 30BTC of deposits that have not been paid, that means that it would only take away 6BTC from the new round, you can take 5-10% of the sums deposited to pay the new round and pay the old depositors as fast as possible so they can redeposit Keep up the good work! |

You should be. There is big risks involved. Not having investors to cover your payment And not knowing if/when owner will just decide to shut it down and run with your money Here i eliminated that second one . But first risk is still there. If you invest , i need others to invest after you . To be able to pay you! If we don't have investor in 24h of last deposit. I will shut this down. But then i will try do arrange fond, donations , to payout guys who lost. But i would not rely on that. . I think nobody will bother. I would suggest to invest small just for fun. And keep track of payment history. You will learn about blockchain and how ponzi works. And if you lose your money (i think its not going to happen , we should have more investors) , but if u lose it , you will know exactly when, and why you lose it. Great explanation. U are doing great job here buddy . I am next up for payment. When i get it i will definitely invest again. Tnx.
