4041  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ERC20 vs waves on: November 09, 2017, 08:47:25 PM
I vote for ERC20, I trust Ethereum,  I think it is proven to be very stable!
Also most developers prefer it, I don't think for no reason.
The reason is simply that it came much earlier. As time passes that reason will no longer be a relevant factor.
4042  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Drugs with Bitcoin ? on: November 09, 2017, 08:45:37 PM
Say no to drugs.. maybe for medicine is no problem using drugs, but dont use drugs for your life because drugs isn't good for life, i think using btc for drugs it idiot
Very naive and uneducated opinion.

Research the use of psychedelics and MDMA in medicine.

They're not only superior to any and every contemporary means of treatment, but also much safer than alcohol and tobacco and thus safe even for recreational use.
4043  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin reaches a record level, surpassing $ 6,000 on: November 09, 2017, 08:44:13 PM
Now 7800 dollars, and it's amazing! Bitcoin constantly beats his own record, and of course we know that this is not the limit. When I bought my first bitcoin, it cost 2000 dollars, and I was surprised at every record, and I still do not cease to be amazed, and probably I will not stop, it's impossible to get used to it.
It's probably about to calm down now for a bit, since we're looking at another round of altcoin bull runs.
4044  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [MCO] MONACO #1 Cryptocurrency Payments Card on: November 09, 2017, 08:43:04 PM
U wana VISA, the VISA is here
You wana see the VISA logo on the card
Is there.
Soon, tokens lock-in apps will,be introduced and the price will start to raise slowly n steadily !

Are the Monaco really issued Visa card?  Shocked
I lost my faith in this fact and sold all of my tokens, though I almost always left at least 10% of coins in which I invested Sad

Will it be possible to fund Monaco card with cryptocurrency, and will it available a card without necessary of verification?

You will have to provide legal documents because MonaCo users must comply with KYC and AML laws to use the product.
4045  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SONM: Supercomputer Organized by Network Mining on: November 09, 2017, 08:42:10 PM
Damn, and here I was ready to buy more next week before the fork. Too bad they cancelled it (from a profit perspective). Guess it was the right move for Bitcoin as a whole though.

I feel you man, the announcement was made literally a few minutes before I decided to purchase more SONM. Unfortunately I didn't get in before it started climbing :/
Should've seen it coming with the Segwit2x fork called off to be fair. Too bad I got greedy this time. Smiley
yes too bad for those who collecting bitcoins and sold all their alt coins for segwit2x
i already told people don't sell your alts because who know there will any chance to buy them back at that price when you sell
i did not sell any of my alts to buy bitcoin
but yes i buy more alt in this time period when alts are down specially sonm token its was very cheap at just 1000 sat
Yeah I'm glad I didn't sell my alts for Bitcoins. But I unfortunately did try to flip one specific set of altcoins that I had around one more time before the fork would've taken place next week, since it kept doing the same swings over and over. Now I wish I would've just sold them and bought more SONM yesterday already instead. Oh well. Still nowhere close, but now it'll be x8~x10 instead of x12~x16 by the end of Winter.
4046  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: █【ANN】【ICO】█【PRE-SALE】 🌟 【SOLD OUT】 ██ 🌟 BLOCKLANCER ██ JOIN GIG ECONOMY BOOM on: November 09, 2017, 08:39:39 PM
2993sig

Glad to see the pre-sale had been a sold out.

really hope this become a model of future business on Internet.

Hope some more virtual channel to be set up or linked up with the business and virtual freelancer are enabled so lessons in foreign language etc could be done over the net through blocklancer!

That's not what freelancing websites are normally used for.

But that is indeed a very nice idea that Blocklancer might want to consider expanding into! Having a branch that is specifically used to connect people with tutors for different subjects would be quite nice.

Not only would it increase the value of the token, but it would also give teachers, tutors and students a new platform to connect.

I'm sure the same problems that freelancers face today are faced by tutors as well. And since that technically does fall under the "freelancing" category it would be silly not to take advantage of that market and add it to the Blocklancer platform!

Hopefully the team will look into this. Wink
4047  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ARK - HODL? on: November 09, 2017, 07:12:05 PM
Made a massive jump today, one of the biggest in the altcoin market. So ARK was a hodl after all, and probably still will be for the coming months.
4048  Economy / Economics / Re: Does this mean Cash will be extinct? on: November 09, 2017, 07:09:02 PM
Sweden is contemplating to stop using cash by 2023, does this mean cash might be extinct if other countries follow suit?

https://www.weforum.org/agenda/2017/10/sweden-could-stop-using-cash-by-2023?utm_content=buffer40bef&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer

There is a probability that cash will no longer be used by the people due to being out dated in the future. But, I highly doubt that it will happen in the year 2023, I mean it is too soon. Also, the old people and the people who are not very good at computers will certainly disapprove of this thought, the thought of using only bitcoin and other cryptocurrency.
He's talking about Sweden specifically, which could very easily happen if they choose to make the move. They've been known to be quite progressive in this field after all. The news aren't about "Bitcoin" either, they're about using electronic cash with cards or smart phones, just like most people in that country already are anyways.
4049  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: AltCoin pump over already ?? to late to buy ?? on: November 09, 2017, 07:06:44 PM
I think that altcoins will drop in few next weeks. You shouldn't buy altcoins now. Wait for the bottom, you will get more profit.
It turns out that your statement is wrong, and now all altcoins have some price increases, so the altcoins should be stored for long periods of time, not short-term trading.
They were bottoming for two weeks though. I wouldn't bother flipping around without being very well prepared for tax reports though. Profits are pointless if you will lose all of them to taxes or penalties once you start trying to cash them out.
4050  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ERC20 vs waves on: November 09, 2017, 07:04:05 PM
I will go with Ethereum, I think most developers will go with Ethereum. I think waves are not compared to the stability and trust of ethereum erc20
I don't know what stability you are talking about, but it can't be about the stability of the platform because that would be wrong.

And trust in ERC20 might get shattered if third party provides keep screwing up (Parity). Waves will also be the superior platform if they actually tick off their roadmap goals.
4051  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do card holders like Visa provide information to Central Banks? on: November 09, 2017, 07:02:48 PM
All banks work with goverment, all of them, except virtual ones!
There are no "virtual banks" that do not have to comply with KYC and AML.
4052  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: STRATIS or WAVES or ARK? on: November 09, 2017, 06:52:05 PM

WAVES would be great for a holder because some dev team are airdropping WAVES token holder. So If you hold just about 500 WAVES, the coming days you will be surprise why you somehow have some unknown tokens in your wallet but this is because of some teams doing airdrop and surprisingly some of them have values.
You need Waves Community Tokens for Airdrops, not Waves. Waves can be leased for PoS rewards though and are needed to use the platform.
4053  Economy / Economics / Re: Does this mean Cash will be extinct? on: November 09, 2017, 06:51:22 PM
Sent bitcoin deposit yesterday but it is not showing in my account.Delivered mail with details for your e-mail.
Not sure if spam or not?

But Bitcoin deposits, especially with low fees, can take quite a while to accredit.
4054  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best crypto to buy now? on: November 09, 2017, 06:50:34 PM
You should wait a couple of weeks! Then will be the right time to buy 3/4 of the best alts that are now undervalued (due to the bitcoin hype)

That times are already gone and it is time to collect cheap alts which have good potential for growth. Undervalued alts price will bounce back to normal price levels after all this dust is settled. Best investments will show itself for next year.
Most have already bounced up. So people should be careful if they want to move back into alts now.
4055  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is holding bitcoin Greedy? on: November 09, 2017, 06:49:56 PM
First of all....It's not being greedy. It is what we called a smart investment. It can give you best returns than any other investment plan/scheme available in fiat currency. So stay invested and see your money grow without any headache.
I would call it a risky investment. Nobody knows exactly what will happen in the future after all. It's a very promising and interesting market though.
4056  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ERC20 vs waves on: November 09, 2017, 06:48:34 PM
Both technologies are stable and strong, each with its own specifics. And each will have its own niche in the future, where it will develop as a leader. The etherium has great odds and resources, but Waves has made its way
They largely serve the same niche, except that Waves serves the decentralized exchanges market on top of that. If Waves can provide a more efficient platform and a decentralized exchange, it could easily surpass Ethereum.
4057  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [MCO] MONACO #1 Cryptocurrency Payments Card on: November 09, 2017, 06:46:55 PM
Well, I totally agree with BTCMILLIONAIRE...contract removal was a bad move and there is nothing more to explain about. Few pictures of wallet full of cards, little pump and then dump... I tried to find areason of that recent pump, but there's nothing...nothing, just faith...so pray
Simple, that's the pump time for take profit before dump the price of this token to the hell of the whale haha. You must to know the whale don't want to sell MCO with cheap price. Therefore, they need to spend some money to increases the value of this token, then, dump to the hell and repeat the cycle if they still want to buy MCO.
Not what is happening. If MonaCo didn't drop the asset contract this token would've been mooning by now. But since they did screw serious investors over in hopes that the little gambling kids would catch the falling knife, the token fails to pump by a lot.

It will still go up because of the short term shills and empty hyping, but it won't be anything compared to what would've happened originally.
4058  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [MCO] MONACO #1 Cryptocurrency Payments Card on: November 09, 2017, 06:41:51 PM
Those who were selling under emotions now what they have left to say or do except to buy less now with same amount of money. Monaco is still more advanced and advantageous than many projects running in the same field. In this market patience is the only key to get out with profit else you just loose.
Now Monaco tokens  hold those who believe in the project and those who bought too expensive. They'll be lucky if in the near future will not appear a new competitor, otherwise they'll have to hold it a very long time.
There is almost a dozen of competitors around and the number will keep increasing. If they don't address the asset contract real soon they will lose a very significant amount of market share in the long run.
But there are not many long term players within cryptocurrency market. I dont think we can consider this tiny piece as significant part of the market, isn it?
I can guarantee you that there are quite a few long term players in this market. There are more short term traders, but that's just because 99% of people on this planet live in the short term and don't think ahead. I'm just here to spread some awareness, you can do whatever you want.

But I don't need an oracle to tell you that most people will lose a lot or everything in this market because of their greedy "get rich now" mentality. What is happening in crypto is nothing new. The names and appearances have simply changed from real goods to stocks to cryptos. Smiley
4059  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ethereum a bubble? on: November 09, 2017, 06:26:54 PM
Yeah, but you ride wide the waves and keep stop loss like your best friend and no bubble can reach you.
The problem is that no one can know when that is going to happen, remember bubbles do not burst slowly most of the time it happens quickly and that is why most people are surprised when it happens, you just need to look at any historical bubble to confirm that is the way things happen.
I don't think to identify a broken bubble is too difficult, you can see the price of Bitcoin since 2013 until 2015, this is an example to know the bubble of Bitcoin was broken. It will happen fastly at first dump and decrease every day. The growth bubble of the altcoin market in this year was also broken when the price of Bitcoin increases.
Knowing when a bubble burst is very easy after the fact, you only need to look for a dramatic decrease in price that happens relatively quickly but to know when the bubble is going to burst is not easy, many were warning about the real estate bubble in the US but they expected to happen a lot sooner they did not knew it was going to happen when it did.
You can't really compare the real estate bubble with Bitcoin though. A lot of cryptos will definitely burst, because they claim to create value even though they do not. Bitcoin however, is in a very unique position. So it might very well keep going for a very long time. It's more of a technology, like Google, which could allow it to climb for several more years depending on the speed of adoption.
4060  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.10.0 on: November 09, 2017, 06:23:30 PM
Devs need to be convinced to Add RSK(Smartcontracts) and lightining network(Unsure of Segwit) functionality to the dogecoin blockchain(just like BTC and LTC are doing atm). I believe then DOGE will skyrocket both in Usage and in price.

Question is how many developers are currently involved to make it happen in a reasonable time frame? DOGE needs more active development

at the moment, no dev, they have all canceled their participation to DOGE. You can also find a youtube video with the creator of DOGE saying that he will never continue dev DOGE. make a search on youtube
That would be ok if someone took over, but nobody seems to want to do it, so Doge is just a meme unfortunately. I quite liked the coin, but it doesn't really offer anything anymore in face of all the competition.

And it's perhaps impossible to change what once made it so strong in a trustworthy way. As you said it is just a meme and it is like a stigma and nobody would really believe DOGE could compete with the big ones on a technical level. And ultimately, that is the truth for now (and might remain forever).
A meme competing on a technical level would be some next level meme though. Sure it would be difficult to pull that off, but I would really enjoy seeing it done.

Absolutely! Problem is we would need people (actually super skilled people) think the same way as you and me. And for them there are a lot of other opportunities where there is money to be made. This community would need to gather a good amount of funds to attract devs.
I wish I had the reputation to round up funds and look for strong developers and marketing teams. Aren't there any prominent oldschool shibes around to tackle this task?
