4041  Other / Archival / Re: [PRE-ANN] DICECOIN: THE DICE CRYPTOCURRENCY [X11 / NeoScrypt] on: June 05, 2016, 05:36:21 AM

We present DICECOIN: The dice cryptocurrency.
The principal feature is the randomness of the blocks and their time between them.
It has the X11 / NeoScrypt algorithm which is resistant to ASIC technology and the mining is faster.
Download your wallet of DICECOIN and begin to mine it.
Remember that this currency is governed by the random, so who knows; you might get lucky and mine blocks 6 for 6!

Name: DICECOIN
Abbreviation: DICE
Total coins: 3141592 DICE
Algorithm: X11
PRE-MINE: 1% (BOUNTIES)
Reward for block: 1 to 6 Dice ( RANDOM )
Time between blocks: 1 to 6 minutes ( RANDOM )
Readjustment of difficulty in each block
RPC port: 1870

4000 DICE: MAC COMPILATION
10000 DICE: ONLINE POOL
7000 DICE: ONLINE BLOCK EXPLORER

The rest (10415 DICE) are reserved for future rewards.

4043  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is good about DAO? on: June 05, 2016, 03:51:15 AM

Basically, you can't ever get your ETH back (even in the planned 48 days, never)...
Because of a simple "stalking exploit" automated with scripts that creates a "ransomeware" standoff.

The only problem with this attack is that it ties up the attacker's funds as well. If the attacker finds a victim who is particularly stubborn, and simply refuses to whitelist the attacker so that he/she can make proposals, it will take the attacker at least 48 days to split & retreat. This would then subject the attacker to having the "stalking exploit" used against him/her.

Just think, we could have even more ETH tied up in split DAO's so it can be pumped even harder. No wonder many of the ETH team are curators for the DAO.   Roll Eyes

As one looks at it now, it appears the DAO is just one big ETH burning service. The only proposals that have a chance of succeeding right now propose a Moratorium for any further proposals (which will tie up the ETH indefinitely), one that increases the amount to make a proposal (which will tie up more ETH) and one that proposes to return DAO tokens sent to the DAO by mistake. What is funny about the last proposal is that most people who made the mistake sent it direct from an exchange. It may take an act of God for these individuals to ever get their DAO back, since it was sent from an exchange hot wallet.

4045  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Alternative for martingale? on: June 05, 2016, 01:21:52 AM
The only way to beat a computer gambling game is to hope that it was not programmed well and you somehow expose a strong bias. The martingale only works in the long run if your bankroll is infinite and the casino has no maximum bet.
I do not think you will win in the long-term bets bets even though the short-term will not be able to use martingale method. Only if you rely on luck might work Cheesy

You don't think you'll be able to earn from martingale if you have infinite bankroll and no max. bet? LOL. Grin Made my day.

Actually, you would also have to be bestowed with immortality or be part of a team that will recruit and continue forever. Otherwise there is always the small chance that you hit a losing streak that lasts the rest of your natural life. Cheesy

4047  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Yobit - Blocked coins list (Add yours) on: June 05, 2016, 12:40:19 AM
Take Francs FRN as exemple. Blockchain is working. Users were trading the coin (before it felt to zero volume, thanks Yobit). Everybody now have their coins stucked there with no other option than to dump into Bitcoins.

People have the right to withdraw their money. I don't know why you guys are minimizing or trying to justify this freezing.

I totally agree with you. Decred is not working either but the network is more than healthy. Yobit needs to decrease the size of what they are handling. It seems they are devoting their resources to the biggest priorities, in their mind, and let everything else fall by the wayside.

4049  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Yobit - Blocked coins list (Add yours) on: June 04, 2016, 11:20:19 PM
Yobit seriously needs to consider delisting some coins. Their indiscretion on what to list in the first place, coupled with never ever delisting a coin, leads to the unwieldy mess they have now.

BTW, The Pharmacist is right, just because someone has a Yobit signature doesn't mean they signed some loyalty pledge with them.   Roll Eyes

Blockchains offer new business models to content owners.  Blockchain technology provides the ideal engine to power a fairly new concept regarding our newly connected world.

What type of applications can we build using blockchain technologies?  The blockchain technology application stack is the engine powering these new innovations.

ApplicationCoin (APPC) It exists for preparing for the development of more useful applications.

 Project 1 :APPC

What's APPC:
ApplicationCoin (APPC) is an open and decentralized project based on the blockchain. It will be thought of as the center of more valuable applications systems.  It will be designed as a multifunctional application platform system with pragmatism at the beginning.

More applications will be added to APPC soon, including an anonymous P2P chat function and an open chat system, an exchange function, a movie player function. We have also evaluated the feasibility of the BT searching and download function, anonymous mail system and one touch operations for bounty function, water dragon head function, etc…  Our team will continue to reaccess more useful applications to add to this project.

APPC have the conditions for long-term development.

 Project 2: ASPCSR

What's the ASPCSR (The Large Applied-oriented Social Platform based on the Culture of Sharing and Reward):

ASPCSR is a very interesting and useful project designed for appreciating the culture of the blockchain.  It is noteworthy that APPC is one of the applications of ASPCSR.

ASPCSR will be designed to be open and sustainable by the Community. The spirit of sharing and reward will always be the purpose of the Community.  It will support the start-up blockchain team and potential projects of blockchain, sharing and transmitting their knowledge of the technology of blockchain. It will reward the members who have distinctive views and new ideas who introduce projects with innovative technologies. ASPCSR will be a big professional social platform based on the Culture of Sharing and Reward. It is an attempt to create the first applied-oriented social community and in practice will have the ability to see the transformation by the Community.

More info will coming...

Here's my edited version of your OP. It's not perfect, but English class was not my strength. Also, I don't know how to edit your jpg.

OK so we have a bought account here (check post history), lots of spelling errors, a self moderated thread, no POW and an ICO with an "at least" amount..

And people STILL want to support it...

I really don't get whats wrong with some folks.. Smiley

i know you are miner ,but sorry , there;s no pow .

by the way ,spelling error doesn't means we can not finish our project, doesn't means we can not make it better. our mother language is not english ,but so what?

applicationcoin just be here and it will be better soon...

English is not ocminer's native language either... If you can't take the time to put together a grammatically correct OP, how can we trust that you will take the time to properly edit your code? Typos in your code can lead to lots of bugs. We certainly don't won't to buy into your ICO so that we can be your alpha and beta testers too..

take a look at your spelling , you got many mistake too. lol ,so learnning language is really not easy , and lots lots lots of programmers in the world can not speak english ,but it doest matter, they are still great programmer.
i don't want to doubte any team with hardworking. i trust them.

Edited my post above to correct the error. This is something that should be done with the OP as well. Also, one error isn't "many."

4053  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what the mean of ICO PRICE on: June 04, 2016, 05:36:07 AM
hey guys,
I was recently trading at yobit, and found a strange word that ICO or ICO PRICE. Please tell what mean of that words?
Sorry if the post like this ever existed, if there please give me the link Smiley thank you

An ICO means Initial Coin offering. The development team for the coin distributes the coin initially by selling them. The ICO price is the amount that was charged for 1 coin during the ICO.
4054  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is good about DAO? on: June 04, 2016, 05:17:11 AM
You know DAO is going to tank when the #1 and #2 Eth shills have already posted in the thread and could think of absolutely no reason why someone would want this scam asset.

Yes, this is going to probably tank. At this moment there are 44 proposals on the table and 36 of them are so investors can split and go through the 48 day process to get a portion of their ETH back. Not sure why they want to go through that process when they can dump their tokens on some other unfortunate soul in less than an hour, for Bitcoin.
At the moment, I'm bag holding. Not sure what irrational aspect of myself wants to stay on this sinking ship when lifeboats are still readily available.
Before making the folly and purchasing these junk tokens a month ago, I had managed to stay away from ETH, for the most part. Something in my soul told me there was something seriously wrong with it. My suspicions have been fully confirmed running the Mist wallet. What a clunker. I had less problems with the 98 Seabring convertible that I just gave away.
Here I go again, flipping from cheerleader to butt hurt troll again. Oh well, maybe if any of these alts actually were worth a shit, I wouldn't be prone to change my mind. The only coin that I really want is Bitcoin. I should just come to terms with that. For now, any DAO holders should take note. When you see me flip my position on a token, you should see it as a sign. Like when the canary just stopped singing and looks dead, and you're a miner.
4055  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Is the halving date actually known? on: June 04, 2016, 01:06:50 AM
Since there are sites like this.

I thought that the blick halving was unknown but twow sites appear to show the same date and time for the halving which was supposed to be an estimation.

Are these the correct times or just an estimation.

Also, I put this here but am unsure whether it should be in general bitcoin discussion or mining speculation (please advise).

The rate at which blocks are found varies according to how much hashing power is thrown at the network. More hashing power means faster blocks while less hashing power means slower blocks. Every 2016 blocks the network adjusts the difficulty in an attempt to achieve 10 minute blocks on average.

Those times are estimations, but as we get closer to the actual halving block, those estimations should get better.

I would probably move the thread to Beginners and Help, but it certainly doesn't belong in Dev and Tech Discussion.

Mining difficulty has slightly decreased, based on my informal figures from Hashnest.com.
This means that the halving could be later? But it should be around that date anyway.

The mining difficulty went up 2.60% last time according bitcoinwisdom. However, it appears the hash has gone down since then. This is counterintuitive since the worth of BTC has increased significantly, lately. I am pretty certain that the big Chinese mining farms are manipulating both the difficulty and the price of Bitcoin, as usual.
4056  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] WAVES. Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform. on: June 03, 2016, 03:16:52 AM
Is there any pos reward for waves?

It will only be for the transaction fees. No new Waves will be minted. Waves has zero inflation.
4057  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] WAVES. Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform. on: June 03, 2016, 02:56:21 AM
I'm gonna be buying awesome things after the released even waves get to be 0.01 Smiley

Let's be realistic. I have my heart set on one of these after the release. Practical and people won't accuse me of going into my midlife crisis.
4058  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] WAVES. Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform. on: June 03, 2016, 12:53:06 AM
Oh darn, I just withdrew all of my 6 million satoshi at Yobit this morning, so I won't get to participate in their Waves IOU reset. I could send them back to Yobit, but it would take more effort than it is worth. I guess that I can wait a few hours for them to pay me for this post. I don't think I'll bother.
4059  Economy / Services / Re: YoBit.Net - Signature Campaign - Realtime Payouts (daily) on: June 02, 2016, 01:46:59 PM
I believe I don't make crappy post or anything (or am I?) but here's my question.

Is there some kind of a restriction as to what section we are allowed to post? Because I've already made nearly 30 posts since last week and only 19 so far has been credited/counted.

Posts to any of the local boards no longer count. Also posts to this thread or off-topic do not count.
4060  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [WTS] Waves on: June 02, 2016, 06:17:26 AM
There will be lots of disappointed holders when WAVES hits the exchanges I feel

Yeah, 250 sato maybe 350 because you're a hero but i guess you prefer to dump them after launch in that case, eh?

You two are on every WAVES related sales post. Just take your FUD elsewhere.

There's already sales and concrete offers at at-least x1.5 ico price and this is likely to increase when the main net goes live in a couple of hours.

If you want to speculate than WAVES is already trading at double what LISK was on YoBit's iou's.

There's also going to be buy walls and support on exchange launch at or above ico price.

The team have already confirmed, then deleted, major fiat partnerships in the chat.

You really are contributing nothing here.
