4041  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Broner vs Campa Feb 13 on: January 08, 2021, 11:19:11 PM
AB (About Billions) Lol was a good talent indeed, we can't take away that 4 divisional title during his prime. But his lost to Maidana, we become viral and the internet went crazy with meme was the beginning of the end of his career. Although he got a sweepstakes fighting Manny Pacquaio, but I guess to fuel his lifestyle, he still needs to fight plus the pending court cases he has, money should be coming in.

I'm not familiar with his opponents, this is going to be his first fight in America, and we all know how Mexicans style of fights, brawler and will fight up to the end. If Broner losses here, I think that's it for him. So yeah its good to bet on a live underdog in Pedro Campa as he might pull a big surprise here.
4042  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Another YouTube fake giveaway scam on: January 08, 2021, 10:40:15 PM
I think the problem as well is that Youtuber's should by now knows how to protect their account at any cost because they are not a target from crypto scammers. 2FA and then email protection and good security practices. Not opening emails from unknown sources, not clicking any links, etc. At least this is the part that we can have control of, thus preventing hacks.

Other social media platforms like Twitter has been breached recently, just shows how this criminals are going to lengths just to scam people, fell sorry for those who have lost money from this scum bags.
4043  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH hits $1000 on: January 08, 2021, 09:57:55 PM
the all-time high of ethereum was 1,448.18 usd (coingecko) in January 2018, for now it is struggling to reach this value but i'm sure it will get there in a few days, it remains one of the best investments ever for what concerns crypto

I don't think it is struggling, maybe the market just take a rest, it's almost $1200, so just a couple of hundreds of dollars and I'm pretty sure that this will be the goal of investors next, to crushed the old all time high and set a new one.

Of course, Ethereum is the prime mover of altcoin market, so there's no doubt that it is the best investments beside BTC. You just have to stay even at the bearish trend, actually it is the best time to buy during that time, $70-$80, scoop as many as you can, hold in your wallet and now it's more than 10x.
4044  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: More records for bitcoin as we welcome 2021. on: January 08, 2021, 09:31:04 PM
It is extremely a good performance (btc trending at $24345, as at the time of writing this post ) no doubts for the first crypto, and it amazed me that BTC keep creating new cryptocurrecy records in December 2020, a proof that more institutional investors has fully reorganized the bitcoins/altcoins technology/development. I think that this achievement will remain unforgettable in the minds of all crypt enthusiasts, investors, traders and hunters in the future. It has been wonderful this year. What is your opinion?

Regardless of the price you posted, (which is obviously wrong), bitcoin's price is going up in record numbers. Institutional investors are the one that is fuelling this bull run and we really don't know when it's going to stop. Of course it already surpassed 2017 high's as we have entered an unchartered territories, and there's more room in this year to even hit 6 figure numbers.

As long as retail, institutions and those companies are investing, 2021 will be the biggest I reckon, even topping 2020. Of course there will be corrections, but if you are going to hold your bitcoin a full year then most likely it will give you a good profits.
4045  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Falls Most Since March 2020 – What’s Next? on: January 08, 2021, 03:08:23 PM
The price increase is still ongoing. And do not expect a fall in the near future.
Absolutely, Bitcoin is bullish as never have been before. The downward trend is not expected soon. It can dip a bit but it will not affect the general trend. When Bitcoin went down from 34k to 30k it was seemed huge but if we look at the broader picture, it was just a small dip before the price increase.

It was just a short dip and then continue to grow to hit another all time high today at $41K++. So definitely this bull run won't stop and if there is a price correction, it was felt as institutions and companies continue to buy to increase their holdings, thus pushing the price even further.

And we haven't seen a huge correction as well, just probably < 10% and then bounce back to smashes the next level barriers. So now $45K-$50K will be the next for this bull run. And I think this will be the trend, the main driver now is not the speculators but institutional investments.
4046  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gervonta Davis vs Ryan Garcia on: January 08, 2021, 02:11:08 PM
That's some serious trash talking coming from Garcia, I don't know it seems that he took it to the next level, too confident on his ability that it might back fire on him if he lost to Davis with a knock out.

But the thing is that Davis confirmed that they are going to face each other next, not sure if this is a guarantee fight as they need to agree about the split and the venue and of course the fight should happen where fans can watch it live to bring more moolah for this two fighters.
4047  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto doesn't want to be found; stop searching. on: January 08, 2021, 01:36:26 PM
It's pretty obvious by now that Satoshi can't be found or doesn't want to be found. There are a lot of evidences, but shallow, whether he is British or the latest, that Satoshi is a female, Lol. He is that intelligent that his footprints like the spelling he used can't be identified, including his writing style.

So yeah, in the last ten years, there's no definitive answers and it someone step up to claim that he is Satoshi, we should take it with a bag of salt.
4048  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin over 30k on: January 07, 2021, 10:57:10 PM
$40k++ new all time high. All investments have risk, not just bitcoin. I had a debate with some of my friends, not trying to convince them, but they want an assurance how much profits they are going to earn. Lol, very wrong mindset as we really don't know what the future brings.

If you will treat Bitcoin that way then I suggest that you must stay away of this investment too. Anyway, everyone is entitled to their own opinion but all of these that you have said against Bitcoin is can be happen also in other investments which is common for an investment as long as money were involved.
Your investment won't grow if you treat it negatively. You need to trust on bitcoin because it won't be here for above 10 years if its not a profitable one. I suggest you should change your mindset towards bitcoin. Bitcoin is already $30k above and with its growing institutional investors, its massive adoption is close to its reality. So think twice, either you believe and invest on bitcoin, or simply don't start investing anyway.

Not just believed or trust, but we have seen it grow in the last ten years with huge returns for investors and still growing up to this point. And there are a lot of investors right now, institution and companies that you have to think that those people are not stupid to throw huge money in the market.
4049  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: do I still have a chance to get profit? on: January 07, 2021, 10:27:44 PM
As others have said, it seems to be that this is already dead and a waste of time to wait for them. Don't get high hopes, even if it is listed on exchange, I doubt that they are going after top tier like Binance or Coinbase. Plus they are relatively unknown so even listing in an exchange is not a sure formula that it will survived and give you profits, unless it's been used to pump and dump their tokens.

It's not a scam per se, but there are no profits to be made as well.
4050  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Scam]: Fake Uniswap app on: January 07, 2021, 09:55:10 PM
The scamer will never stop, for sure fake DEX will continue to appear with many domains, I don't know if this UI display is indeed marketed a lot?

It could be, and I only speculate that this UI is for sale in the underground market that's why criminals have been taking advantage of it. They just have to buy domain with some "uniswap" in it, or just used blogspot platform (which has slowly been taken advantage by scammers as well because it is free).

And then release it to the public go on social media to promote this phishing site and just wait and sit to see if some crypto noobs will fall for it, win-win situation for those criminals.
4051  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC Bitcoin just crossed $40,100 on: January 07, 2021, 09:25:07 PM
I missed seeing the price hitting $40K, however, I also didn't see it going down to $38K retracement. Currently as per CMC, it's fluctuating around $39,300K-$39,500K, which means there are buy orders and institutions are still filling up their bags.

Obviously, the next target will be $50K, now we are talking not just a jump of $1K, but $10K already, Lol, that's how the growth of bitcoin has been sustaining since October-November of 2020 and continuing up to this point.
4052  Economy / Speculation / Re: What if Bitcoin drops to $15,000? on: January 07, 2021, 01:39:00 PM
It can be possible that bitcoin may hit that bottom price. I remember the time when it touched down to $3k and many were really buy more bitcoin at that time enjoying their profits right now. But of course there should be a great movement of whales before that happens.

That is a different scenario, 2018's drop is simply because we are in a bearish market so obviously the price will really suffer and bleed. 2020's $3K'ish is also different, the pandemic scare really affected the whole financial market that time.

While other holders will be disappointed if this dump happens,  other find this as an opportunity to accumulate more. Institutions most likely will be glad to hold more bitcoins.  Although some predicted bitcoin to achieve $100k at it's peak but most likely the bullish market is still strong.

Definitely, when there is blood on the street, then we should buy because they are at a discount. As far as institutions are accumulating though, they are into bitcoin whatever price it is, because they see it as an instrument to hedge their assets.
4053  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin even crash more than 20% in 2021? on: January 07, 2021, 01:06:14 PM
But the exponential growth will hit a wall, that's imminent so I don't think that we are going to slice $80K-$100K like a butter, the growth will slow down.

So this could be just the beginning, breaking $20K-$40K then possible the growth from $50K-$100K might take some time. As we have seen previous crashes already, it is also important to take note that we have bounce from those crashes and then reaches new heights.
4054  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP Price After Lawsuit? on: January 06, 2021, 11:41:23 PM
Most top exchanges like Binance and Coinbase already halted their deposit and withdrawal causing the price to go down. So it could be a gradual death, but assuming that they are going to fight it out with SEC (with little chance of winning), maybe investors are still hoping that it can bounce back.

Another option for them is to move out of US totally and go to a safe haven country. But I don't know, they will loss majority of their investors which is in the US.

So we will see how everything will turn out in the next six month to a year. They could levied with heavy fines in billions of dollars.

4056  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - February 20 on: January 06, 2021, 10:50:38 PM
Even Mike Tyson knows what's going to happen in this fight:

Quote
“Floyd is going to beat [Logan’s] f---ing ass,” Tyson told Paul and two other guests. “But it's going to be good, though. He's going to fight back … [Mayweather] might let you hit him a couple of times to make the show look good. There's always a danger when two men go into the ring. Anything can happen.”

Yeah, Floyd might allow Logan to tough him several times in the rope, but we all know that Floyd's defense is one of the best. So maybe just a few body shots from Logan let the crowd cheer, but I don't think that Floyd will allow himself to be hit in the face.

I still remember this reminder: Don't get tricked by hidden spam on this forum. So it could be spam or simple many new accounts are really promoting this trojan in our community for years now and perhaps there are quite a few who have fallen for it.

The whole anti-virus cannot detected it is really scary indeed, majority of us rely to them, but still the best weapon is us, education and use our logic not to download even from this community. The attacks seems to start even prior to the bull run, but this time, it's more magnify because of this cyber threat investigations.
4058  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin go below $20k? on: January 06, 2021, 09:50:19 PM
Just a reminder, that's what they said when bitcoin hits all time high in December 2017. There's a lot of debate going around, and majority says that it won't go below $10k. However, 2018-2019 was a bear trend, we have seen the price goes to the lowest at $3k twice, 2018 and then 2020 during the pandemic.

There are many speculation on bitcoin that the rising of Bitcoin have come to stay.

My point it is that everything is possible, could be be FUD in the bull run that will make the investors push the sell button. But for now I will say unlikely though, why? because there are a lot of companies using it as reserved assets, and then rich people and average joe's putting their money on it as inflation hedge.
