OK so I'm playing now my second set of freespins... Djoko's only had 2 matches so not possible to have 3 sets of spins no?

Anywya, got a Big Win from something fancy on one spin (it turned into some other screen and no kidding 5 whole minutes of spinning and me not sure what's going on before returning back to the main screen), 7.40 alone, so today's total plus yesterday means I already made just about half of my Djokovic bet back, sweet!

0.90 + 8.06 = 8.96 euro

This was like Olympics for me, I took outright promo also with freespins but I stacked them all up every dew days to autospin and ended up with decent money, just about covering the lay.

Now this kinda reminds me of the Casino Live Tournament that we had last year and we had alot of freebies for BJ or some other casino games back then. Its almost that time of the year wasnt it when the last one started and we had to wager 5mbtc each day until Christmas or something. Kinda wish that we will have another one this year

Those were REALLY good offers. Blackjack, Roulette and Baccarat (where I made a lot by betting on pairs). Even Blackjack is worth it as you can use it on double down or freebet and you get the stake back.

Not sure I could last another Casino Hero though... the last two were absolutely draining and I remember it happened right in the midst of the Arsenal trip too, playing VPN from shitty hotel internet and fiddling with the bets for 30 minutes 3 days in a row, that was so not fun haha.

^Not to mention Superbru also has a prize pot on its own (also free). Of course, next to impossible to win, but it's an additional incentive to put your picks in. Hope you sort your account out or make a new one @Welsh heh heh.

Anyway, 2.5 mbtc is a cool entry fee for me. Not even $50 for an entire season of fun... a bit annoyed at letting slip in the final third last season but ready to go again.

@LFC_Bitcoin Think we might even be playing an entirely new formation? So many question marks, but excited. Saw they Anfield new sections also already coming up!
4043  Economy / Speculation / Re: Anyone bought Bitcoin/altcoins already? on: July 01, 2022, 11:55:11 AM
Ucy, you should make the same offer in the opposite direction, donate Bitcoin to some charity or something if your signature and posts don't help move Bitcoin price up (which it provably hasn't I would say by now?).

Sentiment is reactive, you got the idea wrong. You could post FUD in a bull market and it wouldn't take price down. If a whale suddenly bought out all the advertising space on Google today shilling, it wouldn't take price up.
4044  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: July 01, 2022, 10:03:24 AM
My small bet for the day:

Backing Isner to do himself a favour and get another good showing, Sinner's rightly the favourite but think the American's serve is really doing him wonders... plus of course to avenge his straight set defeat last year. Over 25/10, and I parlayed that with Humbert for almost 6/1.

Well he has said before that his girlfriend now is one of the best things which has happened
for him and she is court side nearly every match. I recon they are all working on his mental side
of the tennis. I have nothing else to back this up, its just a sense I get from watching them but
yea we have to wait and see what happens from here on in, even past Wimbledon.

I have to say though, and this isn't sexist I hope, it's simply the way I think works for either (multiple) side(s) of a partnership -- if you're doing it for someone else, it's not sustainable.

But well if that's true, then all the better for everyone enjoying the game. Just that I've seen it in football myself, no one can help you out of a spiral if you don't do it for yourself (not on your own, mind you, but for yourself).

Fixing it for you, any noob can come in and DCA at any time, enjoy a stress-free life and long-term happiness.

*Bitcoin drops 10%*  -  "Nice! I get a 1.1x bonus on my DCA buy"

*Bitcoin drops another 10%*  -  "Nice! I get > 1.2x bonus on my DCA buy"

*Bitcoin drops another 10%*  -  "Awesome, an entire 1/3 bonus on my DCA"

*Bitcoin drops another 10%*  -  "50% DCA bonus? Happy"

*Bitcoin drops another 20%*  -  "DCA, best choice ever."

*Bitcoin reaches the price floor, then rises slowly for months and months*  -  "Ah well, it was nice while it lasted, now I get to see every past buy appreciate"
4047  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin's price based on Yearly MAs on: June 30, 2022, 06:15:55 PM
I started in 2016, but as it wasn't really structured in a sense (fixed intervals) I suppose it's fair to say I only truly started in 2017 circa and always wondered if I'd be in loss or profit now (only let go once, end of 2020 so also around current prices). A bit painful to bear the pain right now, but I was fine in the time leading up to March 2020.

Think the only "problem" for DCA stalwarts is when to take (some) profit. A bad move could set back DCA by years. I couldn't do much about the timing of my partial liquidation though, was an unexpected emergency. Just wish it could have come maybe even 6 months later...
4048  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: According to Sam Bankman-Fried, some Bitcoin exchanges are insolvent on: June 30, 2022, 01:52:49 PM
Welcome to the corporate world. Most businesses run on razor-thin margins in good times, ill-prepared for even the slightest dips in fortunes or unexpected halt in revenue. Remember when industries ground to a halt during Covid and how quickly big business found themselves insolvent?

If some exchanges being at threat of insolvency is news, well, time to wake up and smell the coffee.

It’s ironic how this guy comment about failure of other exchange while he is the owner and investors of many exchange too.

Doesn't seem ironic if his purpose is to spread fear among his rivals' users or to further flood the market with FUD and I'm sure it'll work to some degree among those influenced by him, all the better for us. I always say good to purge, flush, just drain it all out in the bear so the floor and foundation becomes clearer.
4049  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATM Installations and Operator Growth 2021-2022- Industry Research on: June 30, 2022, 12:39:57 PM
One thing that I’m not fully acquainted with, is the reason for there being such a large amount in the US. Obviously territorial size is a factor, and perhaps it would be interesting to see the data of the number of bitcoin ATMs in relation to the country’s population, to relativize the numbers, but I’m still not fully aware of what makes them specifically interesting in the US (i.e. KYC yes/no, exempt volumes from KYC, commission rates, and so forth).

Throwing in my personal experiences here, which of course doesn't mean much to provide an answer to the question but hopefully adds context.

The only people I know who've actually bought Bitcoin or sold via these ATMs are all US people. The answer was straightforward: the only way you could really buy or sell easily was through an ATM. You can't do P2P easily (need a license). You of course could use Gemini or Coinbase, but apparently not everyone there can easily get verified (and those I know who had Coinbase got themselves flagged by interacting with a crypto service like, let us say, gaming).

Used to have this long-term guy work with one of my projects. And he gave me insight into how a typical American lives and spends when they don't have a fixed job (so no regular income or address) and so can't easily apply for bank cards without an address or problems. They pay WEEKLY rent, get paid weekly (we used to pay him weekly just to fit his lifestyle).

So the moment Bitcoin hit him, he'd run off to an ATM and sell, pay his motel, food, etc.

I'm Southeast Asian and there are just a huge variety of ways I could sell/buy Bitcoin, often for great rates and near-instant speed (plenty of automated bots on LBC, for example).
4050  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin's price "basically a fire sale"? on: June 30, 2022, 09:24:52 AM
Fire sale getting more fuel right now it seems. Bleh.

Yes it’s a fire sale pretty much until the next fire sale. Many said it was a fire sale at $60k,$50k,$40k,$30k. And now we are at $20K.

Might even be a fire sale at $15k and it’ll head lower. Now is a bad time to make that assumption. Summers are chop for many markets and now we are only interested in the CPI data. If rate hikes are working or not. If we see some deflation for a few months then bottom is in. If we see 1.5% inflation then markets will tank again.

Yeah, hate to say it but I'm definitely looking at the next two rate hikes (one coming in 3 weeks and then another in September). CPI data in between also largely expected to be bad news, so pricing in will happen regardless of the outcomes -- and it'd be naive to expect anything other than what everyone's hinting at already.

So it'll be some more battering running up to Q4 before we can hope for signs of turnaround to the global economy. That's really not going to get fixed for a while.

Companies now liquidating crypto to hang on to cash for the time being, and not that we should all follow, but at the very least to keep DCA on autopilot.
4051  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MicroStrategy Acquires Additional 480 Bitcoins on: June 30, 2022, 08:33:05 AM
I wonder how many buys has it been? Has to be one of the smallest (this was 0.3% of total)... if it's been one of 100 buys yeah, great DCA, otherwise not really heh. Can't say as I don't follow, I'd be coughing blood to buy 0.48 BTC haha

Here's one chart I found from here. You're right that out of all the buys it's pretty insignificant, looks like another "loose change" buy, roughly 10% of quarterly earnings. His strategy isn't really DCA in the context of buying the same amount each time, it's simply based on buying as much as possible. In this case, just a bit of revenue by looks of it. Otherwise known as a "hopium" buy looking at similar small purchases.

Actually was surprised, I'd have assumed he had a lot more buys than that, definitely not any kind of DCA, considering the 20,000 BTC (thereabouts) purchases he plopped down early on and then repeated en route to the top. Interesting how it seems his bigger buys were near the top, and the pebble purchases were at the dips. Suppose he thought things were gearing up at each big buy.

Just buying as much as possible yeah, though I wonder if he'll start thinking about being more strategic now, with just plain good old actual DCA.
4052  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Looking for crypto news/blog site owners. on: June 30, 2022, 07:25:29 AM
I am simply looking to network with other bloggers/news sites and see if it would make sense to write for each other, share content between us, and such.

Then you probably want to look at how Steemit (and later Hive) did it, you generally keep writing your content but within your group/network just make sure you share your power around and grow together until you're all able to promote your own posts.

Not my advice, just how it's done. I really don't like spamming content if it's not relevant.

Alternatively, if you really feel you're a good writer and have unique perspectives, I'd go for Hackernoon, and if you get 10 or more published or have a good rate of 90% approval, then you network from within. Doesn't give you crypto really like steemit did but exposure.

Man trying to DCA with millions.  Grin

Still, strong hands beget strong hands. I remember your post -- are YOU out of the game already or? Wink

Yeah, wish you'd not done that. mk4 might be harsh but he's right, it's a dumb idea. Gold I'd agree, but even then 10% APR? You're heavily in debt now and gambling. I'd just liquidate, pay off the debts early and look this up:  Dollar Cost Average.

Work hard, advance your career, live your life, and build up a Bitcoin savings with money leftover from salary. It's slower but with the next rally probably a couple of years away, you'll have a chance to get that 1 BTC easily.

I mean, a bank actually allowed you to borrow $10k. That means you're earning well.
4058  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Somebody remember this old BTC Service? Watching ads getting BTC in return on: June 29, 2022, 11:42:14 AM
You're probably talking about one of dozens of paid-to-surf or paid-to-click (PTC) sites. Think KickassTraffic was one of the longest around, they actually only added Bitcoin as a payment method later on, they were around from the mid-2000s paying in PayPal or other. Google PTC Bitcoin and filter search to those years, see if you get any hits.

I actually did that in the late 90s, back when they actually paid dollars and not cents, and sent you cheques to anywhere in the world. Yeah, I'm old.
4059  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: June 29, 2022, 08:38:13 AM
Well, what can I say against the points you brought up? Wink

Lol, yes, Karius' story at Liverpool was a tough one. But Karius seems to me as if he is more about enjoying live than being a pro athlete. There are more reports about him being with new chicks and changing his hairstyle than about his efforts and achievements in his career as a pro. He was fine with having a contract in Liverpool, earning good money and call it a day. Sure he was disappointed about the CL final, but still there is this attitude where you feel someone really wants to make it back into the first squad, and I never had that feeling about Karius. Maybe he just doesn't have sufficient talent in the first place. But attitude and character and willpower doesn't seem to be on an absolute top level either for Karius.

Regarding Origi: true points! From that perspective, yes, you can become a legend because of a single action in your professional career - Mario Götze 2014! Wink

Yeah, probably why he didn't get sympathy from most people. Still don't really know why Klopp defended him so much, especially as he is quick to sever ties when crossed (I'm thinking of Sakho for example). When Mane or Salah lose a game, they're up til early morning to train, angry as fck and wanting to be even better. I remember Mane even complaining about himself last season when he was still performing better than most!

Attitude, for sure, always attitude. And we had that in spades from guys like Lallana, Origi, Ings, who played their hearts out to make it into first team.

And you know what I'm talking about haha Gotze! Same as Alisson final-play goal header to take us to Paris...

I even want to say Zidane vs Materazzi as legend-making but Zizou was already legendary long before that plus would be pissed if I said so haha.
4060  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How I started Bitcoin investing on: June 29, 2022, 07:58:39 AM
Damn, you're probably one of the first I know of who started so recently, and actually got something great out of it, well done to you, fair play!
Not fair played but I will say nailed it. It was impressive from ImThour! You are making exact peak and bottom. Most of us don't. Personally when I sell to cash some coin, I find price moves further up after I sell my coin and when I buy then price moves further down LOL. I don't mind it when I buy because I am always in DCA mood but when I need huge cash and after selling I feel disappointed. It happens to me all the time.

Most is probably a severe understatement haha. I think only a very lucky few do that, and the majority of us holders probably haven't been lucky enough to hit the peaks (I do know some personally who hit very close to it near the peak so well done too).

I don't time my sells anymore really. I just do my selling like my DCA. To pay the bills and forecast expenditure, save as much as possible.

P.S. You don't gamble anymore?
