4061  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [OFFICIAL]Bitfinex.com first Bitcoin P2P lending platform for leverage trading on: March 30, 2014, 10:12:30 PM

P.S. I wonder how many more people are annoyed by this CambioBTC character?
Most people here I would guess, but I fear mentioning it only feeds the troll....

He is a one man show. I fear he doesn't need any fuel to keep the fire burning
4062  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [POLL] Next cryptocurrency candidates for CoinEX on: March 30, 2014, 10:11:19 PM
Any news on when you will be back up?

I was wondering about the same thing and if my alt coins will still be there when I can log in again.

Another one bites the dust. So sad Sad

You should have given this answer at the previous post. Smiley

U don't know for sure. Smiley

Anyway, the reason I believe in Nxt is mainly because of you.

4065  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PAWN] Pawncoin - Revised Specs Coming Soon - Buy now? on: March 30, 2014, 10:08:24 PM
Even NXT is mining now. They use multi pool and dump it for NXT.

Their biggest buy wall are the IPO investors that are dumping the millions of NXT in their wallet.

I don't really understand what you are saying. But yeah it is true that the coins that are dumped on the exchanges are sold by early stakeholders. This is a good thing in the long run, because the distribution gets fairer this way, every day.
4066  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 30, 2014, 10:07:09 PM
800 btc support wall at btc-e

rocket is fueled.

lmao.. a 800BTC bidwall is "a fueled rocket"Huh?

There is a 6000BTC wall on Bitstamp. And even it doesnt mean much.

yeah, 800 BTC is like a drop of water on a hot stone!

PSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
4067  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN PoS+ PoW] eXocoin [EXO] - gen 2.0 - developed from scratch! Free Give-Away on: March 30, 2014, 10:06:16 PM
now that you have officially stated the conditions for the second stage of the ipo, let me be the first one to ask critical questions about your proceeding.

note that i am asking this qestions under the asumption that the upper cap of the 230 btc for the second stage will be reached, but as you obviously assume that yourselves according to the follwoing statement my questions have a right to exist.

Is it possible that an early bird adapter gets less EXO for 1 btc then a second-stage adapter [...].
[...] it is very unlikely that this will be really the case. We are expecting an steady increase in attention and investments over the time till launch.

why do you think that an early bird investor deserves a whopping 67% more eXo for his investment compared to a potential investor of the 2nd stage?

even if you consider a 67% advanatage for early birds to be fair, why do you insist on the upper cap for the second stage instead of using the formula
Code:
(1.67 * early bird investment + second stage investment)/(1.67 * all early bird investments + all second stage investments) * 42000000,
which gets rid of the upper cap, but sill yields the same 67% advantage for early birds?

Sounds fair to me. Otherwise, what was the point of being an early bird?

Early bird's take more risk than late adopters, so they should get a bigger share.

It is not even that. It is the fact that the terms were agreed on, why would we change them now?
4068  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CHA] Chancecoin protocol, client, and coin for decentralized dice betting on: March 30, 2014, 03:00:44 PM
After Block 298340 there will no new CHA generated, right?

So how will this coin work, if there are only 5k or 10k in existence?

4070  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] [Highest Paid Signature] Earn up to 2.4 BTC/Month by Posting on: March 28, 2014, 02:15:18 PM
Are the rates likely to change with the price of BTC tanking? I know its early days, but the way things are going we could touch 400$ a coin soon

Yeah, even more annoying now with the BTC price dropping. Hopefully Stunna will up them again before payday, especially if Ritz pays out.
I have one question..! If bitcoin price is going down..! and the casino earns in bitcoin..! but the casino is still making the same amount of bitcoin as much as they were making when the  bitcoin price was up..! so how and why they will pay higher..? I hope you understood my question..!

How and why would would they pay us higher?

Because of the same reason why rates droppend when the price rised Wink
But also because more coins are wagered when the price is low, thus they have a bigger budget to spend.
4071  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN PoS+ PoW] eXocoin [EXO] - gen 2.0 - developed from scratch! Free Give-Away on: March 28, 2014, 02:07:04 PM
Sorry for asking this again, but there is absolutely no restriction for newbie accounts for stage 2? So that even a total newbie (just created) can participate?
as long as you have BTC to pay up
Yup! BTC is all enough!
It's not free distributed coin. No constrain needed.

But wouldn't that defeat the purpose of limiting the investment to 50LTC/1.5BTC?

when i get some time on my hands i will post some IRC logs. Not today though..

Great, so you only walk around with your head some of the time. What do you do the rest of the time if it starts raining, say? Does it rain straight into your gullet?

rofl, are you unable to dechiffre what i said? Do you keep quotes of everything?
4073  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BitBet Stole ~$7,000 from me (10 BTC) on: March 28, 2014, 01:20:35 AM

That's not really an opinion and you know it. I know MPEx is a good exchange and it is good that you charge so much, so that you don't have to bother with newbs. But you can't tell me that you give a shit about newbz, because i read your channel long enough to know you guys. It is like a cult and you laugh your asses of if newbs fall for scams. Also you don't mind getting money from mistakes of newbs.

Be specific. Use quotes.

P.S. Things seem so different now, with this thread turning into a donkey show. Takes a lot more work for me to keep up on the other forum, so I usually dont.

If you just want to read everything linearly, use https://nxtforum.org/index.php?action=recent
I have an idea!
How hard would it be to make a bot that cross posts all the posts from the new forum to this thread?
It would give us good exposure and new NXT'ers
Since almost everybody is over there now, it wont matter that a copy is being generated here

Well, and how do we handle answers? Because i guarantee you, that there will be answers to posts and the people will never see them. Wink
4076  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] Amazon.com giftcard codes @ 20% discount [gc4btc automatic delivery] on: March 27, 2014, 06:47:22 PM
shame that you don't sell amazon.de codes Sad

I tried to sell a .it one and no demand, unfortunately european ones have expiry and seems to be limited to that country (.de for Germany etc)

I even made a thread here to judge demand > https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=530502.msg5899343

Where do you buy those giftcards with that big discount? do you need to be a reseller?

I can sell a shitload of amazon.de cards if i can offer them for 15-20% discount.

Shoot me a pm if you want to tell me any details.

Circlejerking in here...

MP fap fap
People discussing how other people should run their business.  It's all the minuses of a circlejerk without the happy ending.

Lol.

But you don't understand! THEY HAD A POLL!

No, it is customers complaining. Most businessowners DO give a shit.

Your circlejerking "#bitcoin-assets" ring doens't give a shit. Why would you, you did enough to scam newbs out of money.

Actually that's exactly opposite of what's going on. Not that you're not welcome to your own mistaken opinion.

UtopianNow,
I read with great interest your posts and
1) I agree with you that the idea of build and link NEM with real thing is the cue to success. This is something that I have repeated as a mantra
2) Why would you need for that a substantial % of stakes? As somebody point out, there are more ideas in NEM ecosystem at Trello and it seems to me that you can start so e of the ideas with development stakes. Of course, I respect your decision of get NEMs ethically, but do you think it can be better to have the possibility of discuss this with the community more in deep?
3) the problem with porn is why would you bother to pay if you can access for free?  Wink

I also don't understand why you would need NEM to build a service.

Only explanation is, that he wants to manipulate the market or he wants to speculate.

I really liked Vircurex.  It was really something back in the day, and I am sorry to see it go.  I think it's possible it could come back, but for now I'll be only watching from the sidelines.

 I miss it.
Let's hope it will return back

Yes, it was one of the good ones. But i can't really see how that will play out Sad
