With all the heat and electricity it isn't even worth mining anymore. For SHA-256 at least.
I take it you think scrypt is more profitable? Are you kidding me? Have you done the math? BTC mining with ASIC's is way more profitable than scrypt per watt used. GPU mining is a total waste of power and resources. You need a whole computer to GPU mine. It takes up more space than ASIC's. It produces more heat than ASIC's. It's also makes more noise. Anyone who is building new gpu rigs has not down their homework. Guess math is too hard for some. Even though altcoin profitability changes constantly, if you take a quick look at coinwarz.com, it would take 1600kh/s mining some unknown alt to even get close to the profit an antminer makes each day. Wouldn't that be at least 2 gpu's, plus the rest of the computer, and how many watts would that take? Compared to just over 400watts from the antminer. I will be waiting for anyone who wants to lay down some numbers on scrypt vs sha mining to prove me wrong or right. Even while I was typing this, profitability has changed and you now need 3200kh/s to equal the profit of 1 antminer.. Math is too hard for some lol ... Maybe do some math and see what the difficulty increases for ASIC compared to scrypt is and how easy it is to resell a GPU which can do many things compared to a dedicated asic. I'm currently running 10 MHASH scrypt and 1 TH ASIC. I am done adding to my ASIC farm, the writing has been on the wall for a while now. OK, I can understand everyone freaking out with the BTC difficulty increase but just like Scrypt there are other coins to mine until you actually call it quits. EDIT: My guess is that whether it be another PeerCoin or DogeCoin there will always be something worth mining for both sha-256 and scrypt.

So what would be an ideal price for you at this point considering other (if any) options?
1.25BTC would be a better price, but IMHO if it wont ship until Feb 28 -> 1.15BTC Well, I paid 1.25 BTC for my last Ant order using my coupon so I guess it ain't that bad ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Besides if Bitmain does lower their price to 1.15 BTC I will probably get another coupon ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

Weren't these miners already announced on another thread?
Or are these different? Coz the price is the same.
Where did you see the price? I'm interested in the price and availability of these units. I believe they use the A1 Chips. I would like to get a couple of units, they sure would be a lot more efficient then my Ants. The price quoted on their other post is 9.5 BTC

thanks for all answers, i will spend 2500-3000$ into mining. I cant come that far with only 600$ ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) which ones are good for mining of these gpus thanks btw sorry for the long post MSI N760 TF 2GD5/OC GeForce GTX 760 2 GB GDDR5 € 219,99 MSI GTX 770 Gaming GeForce GTX 770 2 GB GDDR5 € 279,90 EVGA GeForce GTX 780 Classified GF GTX 780 3 GB GDDR5 € 525,05 NVIDIA Quadro K2000 Quadro K2000 2 GB GDDR5 € 457,50 NVIDIA Quadro K600 Quadro K600 1 GB GDDR3 € 157,39 ASUS GeForce GTX 780 DirectCU II OC GeForce GTX 780 3 GB GDDR5 € 441,94 Asus R7 240-2GD3-L Radeon R7 240 2 GB DDR3 € 69,90 Sapphire R9 270X Dual-X OC Radeon R9 270X 2 GB GDDR5 € 166,99 AMD FirePro V3900 FirePro V3900 1 GB DDR3 € 105,54 AMD FirePro W7000 FirePro W7000 4 GB GDDR5 € 802,65 Club 3D Radeon HD 7870 '13Series Radeon HD 7870 2 GB GDDR5 € 147,9 (demo) Sapphire HD7850 OC Radeon HD 7850 € 179,00 Asus HD7790-DC2OC-1GD Radeon HD 7790 1 GB GDDR5 € 109,94 Matrox M9120 M9120 512 MB DDR2 € 235,65 P690 PCIe x16 MGA P690 128 MB DDR2 € 150,15 F*** GPU's get Scrypt Asics. There are some available in the forums. GPU's cost too much, waste too much electricity and if you think you can sell them afterwards... well I don't know, think again.... Why do you think gpu's are not worth it ? There is sha-3 coins, which can be mined only using gpus. Like what? Copperlark? You do realize that Asics can mine other coins too and much faster right? ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif)

why would they do that?

I'll don't pay any new dividends until Tomatocage delet his negative trust
Who the fuck are you? New account tryng to start gb? tryng? are you fucking stupid?
Tomatocage does not appear in the OP as a shareholder, And even if he did - you should take actions only on him (like putting negative feedback). Why are you punishing ppl that paid you in this GB for actions of another forum member?! +1 That is a very irresponsible move on your behalf. Your shareholder need someone they can trust not someone acting childish. DO what you were entrusted to do by your shareholders and you will receive A LOT of positive feedback. So the negative feedback will not even matter. It will be proven to be false. DO THE RIGHT THING!

the world is full of people who can't do their jobs properly. don't feel bad. ![Kiss](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/kiss.gif) Right, OK. What is your profession? Picture desk editor / photographer (mostly news) see link below. I was discharged from the army in 1992 and did mechanics for a while before doing my HNC in photography as a science in 1996. I've been working as a photographer ever since and own Stockpix Internatonal News Pictures. Not bad! Well done ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) However do you consider your self a guru? Do you know about EVERYTHING in your field? Do you get my point now? It doesn't matter how good you are at what you do because there will always be something new to learn. We live and learn remember ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

I want to put some picture about the miner in this topic, anybody can teach me how to add picture to the topic?
You can build a 1 TH ASIC miner but can't figure out pictures on the Internet. /sigh OK, let's say I am a car engineer... Do I know how to repair or service EVERY car? Just to be fair here ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) I think you got it backwards. The OP is equivalent to Hey I'm a car engineer. Can someone help me put gas in it. I think I got it right actually. I too design my own software and when I registered on this site I had to ask the same question. How do I upload images? So what?
