You're missing his point entirely, he's saying that suicide bombers will only respond to their family members being raped because they're so bent on killing themselves and their enemy there is no other way to stop them, the news journalist is obviously trying to pretend he's advocating rape.

I believe a similar situation happened with World War 2 where the western world was so convinced that the only way they could stop the Japanese for example was to use the nuclear bomb against them because the Japanese would always fight to the death.

+1 also take note of how women tend not to be under this obligation and it wasn't so long ago that America conscripted men to serve in the military, except they used the word 'drafted' because that sounds much nicer, Americans may not know this but in history we were taught something fairly useful and it was about how women went around giving white flowers to men in Britain who didn't sign up to fight.

The people who are against file sharing basically have made it up in their heads that they've lost out on sales that they never had by looking at the amount of people downloading, just because they're downloading the game doesn't necessarily mean they're going to have given you money in the first place, in fact it's often a dual thing where people will download the file in question and often end up purchasing it if they regularly use it and like it.

Of course, anyone who is sane or understands/uses filesharing knows this, it's just the halfwits who keep pushing this legislation that don't, often I've found that the people who most complain about filesharing are the ones I have no interest in or have never heard of and they're just using filesharing as a scapegoat for their own inadequacies, yes I fucking went there.

I suppose so, this is a common tactic the media use to try and scare people away, I still think it's a bit poorly worded though but then again, when it comes to issues like this there is no way you're not going to offend people if you plan on being honest about a real problem. I figured since there are so many programmers here someone might be able to tell me about this, I've been searching for awhile but I'm looking for tutorials regarding Assimp which is an OpenGL mesh loader people on the internet seem to vouch for and it looks exactly what I need if I want to get into 3D Programming and import my own models and animations.

However, as seems to be the case with 3D programming in particular ( 2D tutorials/resources are great for some reason ) any tutorials I find are grossly out of date or they're incomplete I'd really appreciate it if you guys could point me in the right direction towards finding some good tutorials you can recommend me or maybe an alternative option? Again, with the alternatives like coding my own file importer which would be incredibly difficult there's that problem of the tutorials being very outdated.

Yes, I've seen stories about people getting their money back after a hacker has taken it back for them and there are people here who specialise in that kind of thing if you give them a share of the loot, the problem is the media either don't know anything about it because they're stupid or the hackers that go after these big heists know how to cover their tracks.

I think Vod can be overzealous sometimes but tomatocage is definitely trustworthy he helped me target a scammer that was causing a lot of trouble awhile back and even got some money off me, it's interesting though because given the reactions some of these people give which just simply aren't what normal people would do in such a situation it seems like a good thing people like him are here to put them under pressure since it makes them think twice.
