4101  Local / Trading und Spekulation / Re: Cloud Trading Bot on: May 11, 2015, 09:43:29 AM
Hi,

He got back to me and apologized for not communicating. He wants more information about NXT since he wants to make the switch as soon as they allow to list. He would like to get more information. So jeezy, maybe you can help with that since you have more experience in it and the things you mentioned sound like experience is something needed?

Regarding div payments... he writes its still about the projects where they still not have decided if they should move forward with.

I asked him to put some time in for communicating with shareholders too.
4103  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Purse.io - Bitcoin Amazon Marketplace - Save ~10-25% on Amazon Wishlist on: May 09, 2015, 12:47:02 PM
Are there any plans to make amazon.de available again?

Last time i asked, two weeks ago or so, mrkent (i believe) answered me that there are no plans in the near future to open purse to amazon.de again.

I tried out co.uk but it seems buyers are rare there. And shipping costs will add up on orders since its not shipped in the same country.

Amazon.com has more buyers but import taxes and shipping costs kill every percent saving.

So far purse is lowering its possibilities further and further. Too bad... it was good once. Even though i would have wanted them to implement verification to avoid carders and cc chargebacks. Though they didnt even implement it yet.

As long as they dont implement they wont open amazon.de i think. They claimed it was a particularly troubling market. So i dont have hope for it coming back. Looks like they prefer to work on new features instead broadening userbase again.

If it works out... i doubt somehow. I mean 5% with purse instant? Thats not even worth mentioning to go through the process and the extra work. It was 8% in beta, was a little better, but i think with those discounts one wouldnt have much trouble getting a buyer on the market too. So it looks to me like they put a lot of work in a feature that wont bring them much.

Im not the boss so maybe their numbers prove me wrong.

You're making an assumption that Ken actually had bitcoins on Mtgox.  I don't believe he did.  He just used that as an excuse to gain time and not deliver refunds.  I'd ask the guy on Kraken if there is a way to just see if Ken's wallet had any coins in it.  Not likely.

Yes and it is worth passing this info to Shawn Haggerty over at MSD. This case is also moving to the federal level. I'm sure they can get warrants to open all ken's accounts for disgorgement, or at least to see the extent of his lies. I will send Shawn Haggerty a little email later this weekend when I have more time.

And in case Ken actually lurks these threads...."Your days are numbered asshole!"

If he is reading such things then it might be worth asking. I see three possibilities.

Ken never had coins lost there. Then we can sue him more easy.

Ken had the preorder money there and it got stuck. He claimed it and will run with it when we dont watch over it. Or he is honest and gives it to the trustee.

Ken had the preorder money there and it got stuck. The trustee can claim it.

If there is a bankruptcy trustee then it would be interesting to know if there is anything left anyway. I guess at this state there has to be a bankruptcy trustee send from the state right?

Lets see if Mr Sheppard is answering.

Ok, i only found the lawyer of Ken Slaughter. The lawyer gave up after ken didnt show up at court and he wasnt able to contact him anymore.

Its Chip Sheppard +1 (417) 447-4400. I called them now and asked about things. My english seems to be so horrible that they gave me his email address.  Cheesy Its j.sheppard@cecb.com and i was asked to send him a request. Ill do so now. Maybe he knows the bankruptcy trustee of ken so that someone could claim the coins... if they exist.

Edit: Thats the guy: http://www.cecb.com/joseph-d-chip-sheppard-iii-named-to-the-ozark-technical-college-board-of-trustees/

Some posts ahead someone wrote that ken handled his preorder money through mtgox. So there most probably were coins on mtgox when it went done.

But even if not... we then would have proof that he scammed and we could sue him getting him caught with a clear lie.

I will see if i can find more info about that trustee. If someone knows contact details let me know.

Edit: Looks like i found some info. Though that is the trustee of the MtGox Bankruptcy. What we would need, most probably, is the trustee of the ActiveMining Bankruptcy.

Bankruptcy Trustee: Nobuaki Kobayashi, Attorney-at-Law

4107  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It's Happening .... The secrets of 21 inc revealed, and its what we hoped for. on: May 08, 2015, 01:10:49 PM
I dont see this succeeding. Those miners wont be very effective because they arent build as sole miners and you have to make compromises which will lower hashrate.

Next thing is... they want to make the product cheaper because the seller will get part of the profit? So will the seller give you a contract that you have to have the device enabled for the next month? He cant make sure that the miners will run so he wont make a sure profit.

Saying that... these chips arent cheap too. They have to be used effectively.

And next thing is the power cost that most buyers wont take into account.

Overall i cant believe that they got so many investments. Is there a trick behind or was the idea simply so convincing?

Lol i dint know that, so this stupid pagan ritual seems to have worked just as opposite of what they wanted... and the God will keep punish those men who keep doing this stupid pagan rituals from the Ancient Age sacrificing innocent forms of life for nothing.

Nah... religious people work differently. Its not the fault of the ritual, the problem was they offered too view cows and the gods became angry. Believe me they want to hold onto their religion and this explaination will come in handy.

Though i wonder if true...
4110  Economy / Services / Re: DA DICE Signature Campaign - 'Da' BEST Yet | HIGHEST RATES! | JOIN THE FUN! on: May 08, 2015, 12:03:36 PM
Denied all new applicants so far. I should add that if you have been removed from Bit-x campaign, there is no point applying here.

Can i change my payout address become 1PnGfmiC6VwVbjeb5vAm6YB3rgBiu3HpmZ
Since i can't access my other address Cry

You need to provide a signed message from the address listed in this campaign.

Couldnt that be circumvented by going out of campaign and reapplying with a new address? So i think thats not really a strong security.

On the other hand... bitcoiners should know how to back up. Though sometimes thats not in ones hand, if an online wallet goes down for example...
4111  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: May 08, 2015, 11:51:59 AM
I asked the guys on kraken about what will happen with "the funds" if ken doesnt claim them. And... judging from his behaviour, not even attending his own court trial, im relatively sure he wont claim those coins too.

Thats the answer i got:

Out of interest... what if someone isnt claiming? Ken Slaughter, the one behind ActiveMining, claimed he had lost 453BTC on MtGox. He were not present at his court appointments so one can assume he wont claim those coins.

Will these coins be lost or can the shareholders claim them somehow? I know that legally they are owned by his company of course.

For the shareholders, who were practically scammed by him, it would be interesting to know how many coins he had on mtgox and what will happen if he stays inactive.

The shareholders might be able to submit a claim somehow, but they would need to contact the trustee and find out if it can be done, and if so, how. There's a contact phone number listed in the FAQ document posted on mtgox.com. If the funds aren't claimed, they would probably end up being distributed to claimants along with the remaining funds in the MtGox estate.

So does anyone know who the trustee is? If there really are funds then they should not be lost, even if they end to be a small amount.

Anyone knows what to do or can help?

After i saw your website i think your business idea isnt so much about bitcoin and can be applied to practically everything.

I guess ill wait for the first pirated version, which will come for sure.  Tongue

Well I guess I can't force people not to rip me off, but if you find it useful I'd at least appreciate the feedback.

Its not that i want you to rip off. Its only that i think i know your idea already. Its more from the Internet Marketing area i think. Wink
4113  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your trading strategy? on: May 08, 2015, 11:12:08 AM
waiting for the wave to start, then i buy or sell depend on trend
For the newbie you always should be careful with your trading. No one knows when the trend ends. You may be left at the peak and not get out quickly. Don't invest too much at the beginning.
Observe first the trends and if you see that the trends is good. now you can invest your money any value you want.

Its not that simple. If youe really know the first trend, bitcoin is too volatile and you need to play it fast if not you will lose some profit. Like for example the trend is going up and you are buying and wait it till its highest then suddenly drop instantly and you still hope it will raise again. That will make you lose a lot from it
Yeah its not simple if you are beginner in cryptocurrency buy if you are veteran and you know what will happened to the trend for sure you wouldnt loss any bitcoin. In beginner you would have a trial and error so that you can predict when the trends going up or going down.

Do you trade intraday or on longer timeframes? I would like to know how often you trade and what chart time resolution you use. Because its really not seldom for me that i think the trend is clear but it breaks.
4114  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Stay away from ASICSPACE on: May 08, 2015, 11:09:30 AM
Hm... i only now, when you mentioned this, realized that toomim brothers are a competitor of AsicSpace. Even though the investigation sounds trustworthy... this can hardly be seen as an independent investigation then. I thought they are hardware nerds who can check those things out. But letting the competitor decide if the competition made an error is not really something that comes to mind when one wants an independent investigation about the source of the problems. I dont say anything, i only point out a conflict of interests.

And why the fuck would there have to be an independent investigation anyways? Because you would like it?
If ASICSPACE wants this investigation, then they should do so and PAY FOR IT.

We kindly asked Jonathan to assess the damage to our equipment and the cause, because we need to decide whether it is ASICCRAP to sue or BITMAIN. What right do you have to claim an independent investigation? If you want a different consultant doing an "independent" investigation, go ahead. Hire some consultant and get it done. For now, you got to live with what is on the table and you either take that or you don't.

But please don't come up with the call for an "independent" investigation, as this is needed. It does not alter the tuth in Jonathans statement by an inch, if he is now rsponsible for our equipment or not. The damage was done beforehand.

I dont say anything, ...

truer words have never been spoken. You always come up with the most ridiculous claims and the request for a observatory stance like this is Kindergarten.

Fuck this. Damage has been done, ASICCRAP is not paying up and customers of theirs are not getting reimbursed for the damage.

It is a good thing, that Damir is gone. Now, only 2 more are left to be dealt with.

Robert van Kirk and Geoff Smith, two fucking cowards who cannot deal with taking their share of responsibility like a man should.

I really dont know why you are so aggressive and attack me. I got the wrong impression that you wanted to do an independent investigation. Im not so much into mining that i would have known who they really are.

Its really a pity that the behaviour on this forum lately turns to people being the most aggressive they can. Maybe its because of AirWolf who was able with extortion, threatening relatives and so on to get a refund from a scamming company.

I would prefer you speak normal with me. I admitted my error and theres no reason that you feel instantly attacked the way you seem to feel. Only because you feel i demanded an independent investigation doesnt that make your statement valid. It says more about you than me.

I think it is clear yet again that Seb has overstepped.

Because i dont have the time to investigate every username i come up on here? I admit my errors. It would be great if others would be able to do so too.
4115  Economy / Securities / Re: [CANNABIT] Investment Details - Announcement & Discussion Thread #cannabit on: May 08, 2015, 10:56:14 AM
Any updates? No activity for over 4 months. SebastianJu could you try to reach em and ask for an update?

Especially on the Cryptostocks situation. The shares should move to Polo / NXTAE or something equally "safe".

Im not so happy that he didnt get back to me lately. Last thing i was told was that he now works fulltime on cannabits core business. He liked the idea of going decentralized and more private than this forum and asked me for suggestions he can look into then.

I would like him staying in contact more but it seems he does not yet see the importance of that. Otherwise he would.  Roll Eyes

Is poloniex decentralised? I think he would prefer NXT otherwise. With NXT you mean the normal NXT-Exchange right?

I will try reaching him though.

Well at least there is some kind of communication. Please try everything to get hold of him and tell him it's kinda urgent to make the asset move.

Poloniex is centralized of course becuase its also an exchange. Pro side is that the assets are traded in BTC and it's kinda "stable and safe". And you could directly trade for altcoins too. Contra is that it's centralized and got some fees to it I guess. (don't know the exact numbers)

NXTAE of course is totally decentralized and pretty easy to use with the dividends plugin where you just enter the amount and it does everything on its own. Pro is it's probably the most safe and secure solution. Contra is it's traded in NXT but conversion of BTC<->NXT is pretty easy and with SuperNET client even included in the wallet.

NXT sounds fine then. I never used it yet personally and of course i dont have anything to explain to him about how he could set things up there.

Maybe he fears all the work he had to put into in order to understand the system and setting everything up. When i read you mentioning plugins then this might be a valid thing.

Do you know things there very well? If so, maybe it would speed up things if you could give something like a short tutorial or so. So that he can see its easily and fast done. No problems moving there or so.

He could proof that he is the real owner of cannabit by verifying an address bound to cannabit AND include something unique to the nxt asset in the message. Then no one can copy it and fake it easily.

So far i have the impression its time mostly that is a hindrance. So if you feel like it, maybe this could help.

jtoomim... im impressed from this investigation. Looks like you do this properly. And i like that you really seem to be independent since you dont follow the words of one side in this easily. Smiley If i would be in mining business i would definitely use your service in case i need it.

... and thats why we host 200 S5 with Jonathan and hope, that ASICCRAP bites the dust...

Thanks Jonathan for the hard and dedicated work you did put into this.

Im wondering too since there are payment services out there, like bitpay that accept payments with zero confirmations. I wonder how they would handle if such a transaction would be cancelled.

I imagine it can work as long as the miner, who gets two transactions for the same coins, takes the transaction with the higher fee. But i dont know if miners have a routine for that at all.

So i would be interested to know if it works too. Though they seem confident about it.
4119  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Lost my coin very confused plz help on: May 06, 2015, 04:15:06 PM
I think, since the starting numbers are the same, that this was a hack attack. The hacker found that you had your address in the clipboard, sent it to himself, let a service (or his hardware) create an address with 3 same starting digits and changed your clipboard to that address. When you checked the address you were fooled with the first signs matching and sent it away to the hacker.

Since there were no coins sent to this address previously its unlikely that your browser autocomplete brought back this old address somehow.

Blockchain wont be able to do anything. The first digits being the same does not let it look like an error on their side.
4120  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Reading Bedtime Stories To Children Should Be Restricted on: May 06, 2015, 01:52:48 PM
Huh

Here we go with more insanity, bedtime stories promote social "inequality" and this tool suggests parents cease and desist to level the playing field...

Quote
THE ABC has questioned whether parents should read to their children before bedtime, claiming it could give your kids an “unfair advantage” over less fortunate children.

“Is having a loving family an unfair advantage?” asks a story on the ABC’s website.

“Should parents snuggling up for one last story before lights out be even a little concerned about the advantage they might be conferring?”

The story was followed by a broadcast on the ABC’s Radio National that also tackled the apparently divisive issue of bedtime reading.

“Evidence shows that the difference between those who get bedtime stories and those who don’t — the difference in their life chances — is bigger than the difference between those who get elite private schooling and those that don’t,” British academic Adam Swift told ABC presenter Joe Gelonesi.

Gelonesi responded online: “This devilish twist of evidence surely leads to a further conclusion that perhaps — in the interests of levelling the playing field — bedtime stories should also be restricted.”

Contacted by The Daily Telegraph, Gelonesi said the bedtime stories angle was highlighted by the ABC “as a way of getting attention”.

Asked if it might be just as easy to level the playing field by encouraging other parents to read bedtime stories, Gelonesi said: “We didn’t discuss that.”

http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/news/nsw/reading-to-children-at-bedtime-abc-questions-value-of-time-honoured-practice/story-fni0cx12-1227335151442

I cant believe that there are really people that think that way. Maybe its some form of campaign for other interests?

If true next time they demand we should stop loving our childs since there are enough who dont get love. Simply make everything worse to everyone until each one is the same.

So no, i cant believe there are really people that stupid. Sane persons would try to raise levels to all childs.
