4101  Economy / Services / Re: MoneyPot Signature Campaign - [Latecomer Promo!] Earn BTC For Posting! on: October 07, 2014, 09:33:29 PM
I am already enrolled as a member (original, non-latecomer), but have at some point become a full member. Can I be upgraded to the higher pay rate going forward if I change my signature to the Full Member sig?

You have to change it, and no sorry, we unfortunately can only pay for the rank you had when you joined.

I have done so, but you ought to have that in the rules in the first post. That's not the current agreement as it's described.

"3) If you move ranks, we pay you for the rank you had when you applied."

No, sorry, I meant about having to upgrade your sig if you move up.

Ostensibly, we should be rooting for Dooglus to win this bet, as it means the integrity of your game checks out?

Honestly, I'm hoping doog will win this bet but not because I think moneypot is threatened in any way. Were you in the chat yesterday? Coinrocket (among other things) made some ridiculous statements. Just by what he was saying (followed by him asking people for a 4 BTC "loan" so he can "test" his "system") I came to the conclusion that he was either a lunatic or just a kid that somehow managed to earn some BTC.

I could mention few of the things he said just so you guys can have a laugh as well.

Indeed, I was not in the chat. I was actually wondering where all this was coming from. Thought I missed another thread somewhere or something.

Ostensibly, we should be rooting for Dooglus to win this bet, as it means the integrity of your game checks out?

It's just a fun bet, I wouldn't draw too many conclusions from it. Ultimately if the game was rigged, and there was a contest to determine its integrity, I'd have to be a retard to not unrig it for that period of time.

If I understand correctly, CoinRockets believes that for a given hash, my code is able to generate a different different seed and a different crash point that would lead to the same hash, and this logic is triggered when the bet size is large. I understand that Dooglus believes this to not be possible.  If Dooglus does win the bet, it would not conclusively prove that I can not find hash collisions. And in the 10% chance that dooglus does lose the bet, I will be faced with serious credibility issues -- but its certainly not conclusive proof.

I have provided CoinRocket with a full dump of every single game and all the wagers. Personally I think it would be more interesting to look at the correlation between the total wagered and game crash, but that's just me.

I really hope this bet does proceed! There's good EV in it for me!

Fair enough. With all the gambling scams, I'd love nothing more than your site to check out. It's a great game.

And yeah, whether Doog wins or loses this bet, it doesn't conclusively prove anything. Even at 200 games, the sample size is too small to say with great certainty that anything has been proven.
4105  Economy / Gambling / Re: MoneyPot.com -- The Social Gambling Game on: October 07, 2014, 08:05:29 PM
Nice write up. I will being acting as escrow for both parties, ensuring payment is made. CoinRocket has informed me he will send the 10 BTCs to me an hour before the event begins, and half an hour before the event begins he would like a fresh complete dump of all games and play data (something I provided for him yesterday).

Dooglus also has production access, and should be able to tell conclusively see that no deployments or production setting have been changed, assuming I have no backdoor into the hosting provider  (it shows records for all changed and deploys).

Assuming CoinRocket does indeed not back out, here is the countdown to the 10 BTC  Dooglus vs CoinRocket bet:

Signature campaign rates are far low due to erosion in btc value.
I think we need to force the campaigners to hike the prices.

U cant force anything here. Rates are determined purely from the point of demand-supply and ROI calculation. It is better to accept and enjoy the free market dynamics.

I'm pulling for the demand.
So, the supply will match and will finally lead to increased rates.

Lol, bitcoiner signature peddlers unionize. Now that would be something!

That would be nothing. Campaign owners will stop investing in Sigs and start buying direct ads.

You missed the irony of a group of people who use a currency that epitomizes the free market attempting to manipulate the market because they're unhappy with free market ad rates. I was being facetious, of course.

So Manl's argument here is 'you tried to extort me because I didn't pay you what I stole from you, so you're the only one who is wrong.'

Then follows it up with 'the difference between me and you is I would never post information about your family to the public... except this picture... and this link to an article that contains all kinds of personal information about your wife.'

 Huh

4110  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Strong democracy or strong constitution ? on: October 06, 2014, 09:08:34 PM
Democracy is wrong. It is rule by the majority. If you are in the 49% who doesn't like what the 51% voted into place, do you want to be forced to do it? That's what democracy is. Get rid of it.

Rather, enact common law all over. Common law says, do anything you want, anything at all, as long as you don't:
1. Harm other people;
2. Damage their property;
3. Break a contract that you signed into with full understanding.

Who cares about what a constitution or other document says? As law as common law as stated above is the basis for all of it, freedom will abound.

In the U.S., Canada, and the U.K., that's the basis of law - the common law. The reason we don't see it is that the governments of these nations have tried and hidden it from the people. It's time for the people to wake up.

I agree with this very much. Democracy is touted as the fairest form of government, but I don't think that any form of government that allows the rights of an individual to be taken away at the behest of the majority, just for the sake of it being a more popular position, can possibly be regarded as "fair." A fair government protects the rights of everyone, at all times. Your life, liberty, and property should not be taken from you involuntarily, and the only legitimate function of government is to make sure that those three things aren't.

Capitalism on the street.

Piracy on the street.  Not sure what voluntary exchange has to do with highway robbery.

You give him your money in exchange for him not shooting you. See? Voluntary exchange!

I am lost manL, why not post a transaction of the 170 it is of course BTC and it has a blockchain?

He did post the transaction, except it didn't go to Joe's wallet.

And he send to that address because some fake user send him a pm here:

Payout was carried as always. We never missed a single payout, and payout was on the address he provided. What i dont get is why AK would want to play at DB anyways when all those days he would just trash-talk DB with every chance, on every other site. Why the fuck to "steal" his payout, when we could"steal" the bankroll, based on your theory? Dotn even bother to answer, i really dont care at this point. Some others even connected the address to a recent exploit found on a PrimeDice deposit, where 100 BTCs also dissapeared. I have no clue. Thats the address that it was in the withdrawal field, and thats the one we executed(it didnt went automatically just because hot wallet didnt have that much as he requested, the second we refilled it it went through). Also, i got a PM yesterday, i dont know if that has anything to do with it?   -->   http://prntscr.com/4st3mx

As for people who simply do deposits of 0.0001 and put usernames as SCAMSCAMSCAM etc etc, im sorry, I renamed you once, twice, three times. You dont get the hint, and i dont have time for that kind of games. I will do zero accounts like this from now on. Feel free to trashtalk me all you wish here and on any other site, thats up to you.

Regards
Throwing all basic security out of the window not to mention how the hell do you get fooled by that PM from a newbie? Not buying it!

That's not why he sent it there. The address listed in that fake PM isn't even the address he ended up sending the coins to.

Did the site just crash for anyone else?

It loaded slow at first, but everything appears fine. It's running with no problems for me.

Hello all! Due to the latest developments regarding bitcoin and altcoin regulations in Russia (check here), we decided that the risk factor for us is exponentially growing. Therefore we decided, effective immediately, to suspend betting and investing and put the site in a "feeze" mode, where only divestments / withdrawals are allowed. We will make transfers from cold wallet large enough so all withdrawals to be prosessed ASAP. Please if you know anyone that plays / played / invested as well, inform him about that so he can take his coins. We will also email any account that has remaining balance on site and if still until the end of the week he doesn't withdraw, we will trigger the withdraw to his emergency address. In the case he doesn't have an emergency address either and site is sold, user shall contact us via email to support@dicebitco.in with his username and proof of deposit. Both sites (dicebitco.in and diceliteco.in) are officialy under SALE now. For any offers, please send an email to support@dicebitco.in!
What the buyer will get:

The Domain, that will be transfered to his registrar of his choice (we suggest namecheap, since we have the domains there, tranfer will be instant)
Whole site code
Twitter / facebook accounts
Email addresses
Forum account
Skype support account
What the buyer will NOT get:

Support from us. The site comes as-is. We will not further develop it nor provide techical support. If you don't know how to code or you don't have anyone who you trust to code, dont bid on it.
Account passwords. All user passwords on site are encrypted, there is no way around that (so no need to bid with the hope you will be able to hack into other casino sites)
We are sorry to have it ended this way. Thank you all!

P.S. AK, seriously, you are after people I hired over PeoplePerHour for SEO now?  lol. By all means feel free to do so!

P.S.2 Reloading cold wallet as we speak.

Hey look, he does still read the forum! So where's AK's coins you pretended to send him? Or do you only post here when you're ignoring questions about your legitimacy?

Soldiers are not killing in the name of peace, they are killing in the veil of fear.

Time will tell.  I am illuminating into a light being.  How does one kill light?

Vod, if you want to try, you are welcome yourself.

Grin I don't believe in killing. But I also don't believe in deities or "light beings" either.

For one to disbelieve, they must first acknowledge the existence of what they disbelieve in.  For you can only have a negative if it's in reference to a positive.

All you see is light.

This couldn't be more semantically or logically wrong. For one to disbelieve a concept, they must only acknowledge someone else's belief in it. For example presently, I know you're just spewing some hokey new age nonsense. In order for me to disbelieve all of it, which I do, I only need to acknowledge that you believe it. Your belief in it changes nothing for reality, which is where I currently reside. Feel free to stop by there sometime if you're not too busy being pure light. Good luck mate, I'm peacin' out.  Cool

Woow... I just hope people will get theirs money out.

What would be the benefit of concocting a ruse at this point? If he was looking for an excuse to take the site down and disappear, regulation would certainly be it. But why not just disappear then? If you weren't going to pay out, I would think there's little benefit in putting up a message about how you're going to pay out and the procedures you were going to follow to pay out, only to then not pay out.

In a weird sort of way, this is about as much credibility as Manl has ever had. Only he can screw it up at this point!

I think I'll wait for the emergency address withdrawal. Let's see if they return all my money, or if they claim that the site lost money with negative profits.

For what it's worth, and it's admittedly not much, I was able to withdraw with no problems. Of course, I hardly had anything in there, and also I've never had a problem withdrawing. But I was never btc rich enough to be a target either.

Yeah, sorry. I should have put that up there. In my haste, I left it out.

If DB is worried about Russian regulations, that has to mean that he or the servers or both are located in Russia, right? I think the previous theory was Ukraine, but as a sovereign nation, Russian regulations shouldn't apply to them.
