4101  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China to make Bitcoin (virtual properties) a civil right. on: June 28, 2016, 06:00:36 PM
They can't make anything of Bitcoin.
Bitcoin itself is a civil right, maybe the most amazing one.

You can have NO bill saying Bitcoin is this or that.  Roll Eyes

Exactly.

The Chinese state is protecting alright: protecting their own tax-slavery protection racket. Chinese Bitcoiners can secure their own property rights perfectly adequately without the Chinese mafia state "protecting" anything. This is exactly how any state works: when they want to start controlling some aspect of the serfs lives, they start writing rules.

The real threat to Chinese (and all people's) BTC holdings is the state. They have no power to arbitrate Bitcoin anyhow; if someone was stolen from, they could do very little to get the BTC back without some physical evidence trail. I hope this sort of public promotion accelerates the rot of these gangs of genocidal jackals who use the pseudonym of "the state" to deceive and enslave.

First they ignore you,
most of us ignored it at first
then they laugh at you,
what? cryptomoney? internet money? you kidding?
then they fight you,

then you win.
well, we have not won yet but we are getting there

I agree with most of you and I think Italy could be a really good candidate to reach the final. If they win versus Germany we can see another France - Italy final like many before.

Italy managed to toy with Spain. Spain didn't look like a champion side.
It will be tough to repeat this against Germany, but I do expect Italy to go through to the finals.
I agree, many times Italy looks like an outsider without much chances, but most times they manage to shut everyone's mouths. This year Italy doesn't have big individualists, but they have cohesion.

Yes, like they did in Germany ten years ago. No one would have put a penny on the before the semifinals. But then they destroyed Germany playing home.
I remember that guy who scored was then forgotten but he gave Italy the chance to go the final.

Let's go back to our TrumptheBump

I read this recently

Sorry if it was already mentioned anyway I did not see it.

But what really is this sort of media criticism?

Isn't it basically,

"Dude!  Stop moving around so we can hit you!  Nothing we say sticks!  We want to shoot your arguments and your attitude dead!  So you need to get up real close and stand really still because we aren't very good shots!  And shut up, too!  Don't distract us while we're aiming."

<Disclaimer, using "shooting" only to make the point.  Not advocating shooting anyone, lol>

He's disrupting the media carnival, they really don't know how to handle him.
I mean to me it looks like fun but thinking of him as a president... oh my god what a joke it will be.

But then I look at the opponent and... well... let's go with the joke. At least is fun

Yes.

They saved Greece and they did not let it out of the EU.
Now the EU lost one of the biggest member.
What now?

An anecdote: I'm curious to know how much ECB capital the Uk will hold

Look this, they hold more than 10%

4105  Bitcoin / Press / [2016-06-27] Ex-JPMorgan Strategist: Euro Collapse Will Fuel Bitcoin's Growth on: June 28, 2016, 02:55:23 PM
A bitcoin investment firm led by two former JPMorgan traders has published a note which speculates that the EU referendum in the UK could lead to the ultimate decline of the euro, thus boosting the value of the digital currency.

Thanks for posting the old Economist. That's a truly symbolic cover that reminded me the Bitcoin/Blockchain cover they posted last year. Nothing is done without purpose guys.

If you saw a full version of the Cogwheel Earth chained to Bitcoin cover, on the coin there is the infinity sign/symbol and the pyramid with the all seeking eye on it.  Cheesy

*Edit: They probably own a big amount of coins! That makes them feel confident they can control things...

I was referring exactly to that. There's an hidden layer of power which we cannot see but it is overwhelming all of us.
We all recognize something is wrong but we tend not to think about it.

Let's go back to price issues: someone ate my stop loss like ice cream.

Like sure.. develop your super coin to take over Silkcoin.. but in the meantime.. put out a freaking update or something for the coin this thread is dedicated to.. half of this thread is me bitching about this and other other half is people talking about the price of silkcoin.. none of it makes any sense.  Cue the mind bending poetry to make everyone  forget the logic of this comment.

I think you will eventually disappear. When this goes live you'll have nothing to do and you'll go back to your shadow. You are seriously emotional regarding this, you are on Bitcoin forum only to talk about this.

Come on man. Get over it.  Wink
4112  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Euro 2016 on: June 28, 2016, 06:51:20 AM
England all in on brexit!
Out of the European Union and out of Euro 2016!

Great job Iceland! Well played.

Guys, let's keep an eye on Italy even though it will be super hard to win versus Germany, which is the best team of the competition
4113  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Euro 2016 on: June 27, 2016, 06:41:24 AM
Yesterday's results were pretty easy to guess. Tonight is a whole different story.
There's England vs Iceland: a vrey "isolated" game (brexit joke).
Maybe England wins but I am not so sure.

Italy - Spain? Oh well, I'll just watch it. I think of penalty kicks.
4114  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The destruction of the UK has started on: June 27, 2016, 06:37:05 AM
Some years ago I remember the whole mess regarding the Lisbon Treaty, like we were all doomed by that treaty which was the beginning of EU dictatorship.
Now the UK leaving the EU and all the mess related.

Maybe that was the point: destroy the EU from the inside.
Who better than the UK could do that?

No crisis was sufficient to destroy the EU but this was the plan all along. And now I recognize it.
4115  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 27, 2016, 06:28:03 AM
I see "The West" is doing jukes ... one is 5$ above China and one 3-5$ ... their impatience with China grows, I'm wondering when it will break?

One must fall.

It's only a matter of time: there's plenty of instability in every fricking market and BTC is not any different. Too many big news lately that need to be digested.
4116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN/DISCUSSION] Silk Network: Silk, DarkSilk and Weaver on: June 27, 2016, 06:25:00 AM
5 btc volume on polo recently. Last time it was almost 30.
Silkcoin trading is becoming very strange to me. Does anyone have an idea? I mean there's no reasone why 5btc should appear in the books unless something is moving under the hood.

Someone put up a 2.7 BTC buy at 430 and someone took the opportunity to get out. I don't think there's much else that can be read into it.

I mean in a smaller scale it was the same that happened some weeks ago when we saw 30btc volume in single day and it seems to me there was no reason for that as well.

Anyway, I missed that buy, thanks for updating.

I'm telling you. This rally is over. Dread Pirate Roberts messed up big time. This will not end well.

I'm telling you the rally is up and running again!  Grin

Never seen Bitcoin so much alive actaully!

Brexit boosted another pre halving pump.

Bitcoin is our beloved cat... one life is not enough.

Everywhere in the stock markets I see red while I see green on bitcoin.

Well well, I am very surprised. Looks like the British grew some balls.

Congrats on breaking the chains of the EU.

Truly uncertain times ahead. Expect some turmoils.

I don't know about UK farmers but I do know that this referendum could trigger new independence spirits across the EU.

By the way, BTC going up already
