Still no go, with any of these clues... Very hard

this also isn't an AAA title This is the understatement of the day! Even the smallest game developer/publisher shops have not just teams of developers, but teams of artists, teams of content managers, teams of QA/QC testers, and so on. We have basically just one developer volunteering some (not much) spare time. Almost as much as Moto needs more miners, it could use some more and more varied skills applied toward it. Well, you are right But I don't think we need prime graphics. If there was a graphic designer helping us... It would be cool, it would probably get a few more players, but I don't think that's a must. At least for now

I'm glad it works Tell me how it goes, I may help more than pywallet itself Thank you. Managed to get my coins back. I've been asked the meaning of the JSON keys for the addresses, here it is Tell me if I forgot anything addr: bitcoin address compressed: whether the key is compressed or not encrypted_privkey: encrypted private key (only present if the wallet is encrypted) hexsec: private key in hexadecimal format (32 bytes) secret: hexsec with 0x01 appended if the key is compressed (32 or 33 bytes) sec: bitcoin private key (base58check'd) pubkey: public key in DER format, ie 0x04+X+Y or 0x02+X or 0x03+X (33 or 65 bytes) reserve: whether the key is in the pool or not
Thanks, this will be handy. Out of curiosity: how can I calculate the version of a coin? As far as I've read, it has to do with the public address... but can't seem to find a way to see the version of a specific crypto.

Sounds good, looking forward to see the revamped Reddheads!

This was my first week in this campaign. Everything went smoothly. I was paid, and withdrew my balance safely. I'll be around for another week

If you think this bot is a problem then mine, get others to mine... I think people won't feel very inspired to mine when some guy mines a lot more by just running their bot and doing nothing. Nobody wants to play on obviously unfavorable terms. The terms aren't unfavorable. The game is being worked on so that humans have as much chance of getting a block as bots. As for the game physics and graphics itself... This is not elastomania, and this also isn't an AAA title

Finally managed to install everything in order to run pywallet. Still can't access it through web interface, neither I can dump a wallet through command line... Any clues on what I'm doing wrong?
What happens exactly? What do you want to do? If I run it through the command line, it simply says it's not recognized. If I run it through python with the --web, it just says things like invalid synthax. I think I installed everything correctly. Had to download setuptools and zope.interface from 3rd party websites because they weren't avaliable on the Python website... Not sure if that's what causing the problem. As for what I want to do... I want to open a wallet that's giving me quite a big headache (unlocked it multiple times with my passphrase, which suddenly stopped working. And yes, I am 100% sure I'm using the correct passphrase) EDIT: when I try to run it through the command line with --web added File "C:\Documents and Settings\(...)\pywallet.py" , line 5 <!DOCTYPE html> ^ SyntaxError: invalid syntax EDIT2: somehow the pywallet file did not download correctly... just replaced it with the correct file and it just booted the web interface. Sorry for this noobish mistake, I'm guess I'm just mad at my wallet file, lol. Thanks anyway

Your word mean one of the following or both cases: 1) you already have a profit from this coin and it is enough to do ignore bots. And you simply look for a guilty one among the users but it is you 2)you are the osner of the current bot: 450K premine (was partially used for rewards, the rest was sold in panic during the early days of Motocoin). If 1 or 2 are correct, then why should the dev even bother to come here?

If the objective hasn't been 100% achieved, I would say you are going the right way.
Sure, I don't think anyone is disputing that anyway. Didn't mine the past 2 days, but as it was said around the thread, the difficulty is being leveled out for bots and humans, and human mining is achievable again.
That portion of the problem does seem to be significantly less of an issue now. The bot did push the anti-warp up briefly, testing the impact on his mining. He obviously must not have liked what happened, since he backed off again. I think this means implies that the system is working. The real problem at this point, though, is that the network is still under a sort of continuous 51% attack. At any moment the bot operator could decide to double spend, DoS the network, etc. Getchains output and debug logging from various nodes indicates that he has never done anything of the sort, but this doesn't necessarily mean he wouldn't suddenly decide to do so for some reason. But yeah, no merchant or exchange will pick this up until everything is 100% solved.
I don't think it even needs to be 100% solved. I just think we need "much less of a looming unknown than we have currently." A simple solution to this would be to somehow get miners to mine. If we had many humans mining at any given moment through the day the big problem of the moment should simply resolve by itself. MOTO NEEDS MANY MORE MINERS!Considering how it is both fun and profitable to mine it (the exact opposite of most coins, IMO. Even HUC is only fun and not very profitable!) it is surprising that we still face this situation several weeks in. Any suggestions? The system is definitely working We need some PR... We need to start some kind of promotional campaign. Those who hold large amounts of moto can offer reward for this. Psychocoin already started to do things like this, he started a twitter account, made new subreddit, I was paying him from premine, but then bots gone crazy, price dropped etc. We can also do giveaway. I have no further suggestions... I can help with some, on my spare time. But I can't promise anything, since I'm already involved with another currency.

Disable bots? I'm not quite following you, nobody spoke in disabling bots, the objective has been making the game as hard for bots as it is for humans Which we, unfortunately, can't actually know if we've done yet or not. This is the crucial problem right now. If we had a whole lot of human miners mining all of the time then we could know. If we had access to the optimal bot then we could know. Right now we still have neither. I wouldn't expect an exchange or merchant to pick the coin up until we can get one or the other, answer the question, and take additional steps if necessary. If the objective hasn't been 100% achieved, I would say you are going the right way. Definitely unexpected that this was such a smooth launch with quite a bit of hashrate... going to mine some, probably, lol.
