4101  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: July 22, 2019, 07:39:58 PM
I watch different sports and managed to make sure that in most cases not young and promising win, but old and professional with great experience.  This applies not only to martial arts, but also to tennis.
Age is a big factor in martial arts as you can only take certain shots for a long time and still be on the top of the game, i will give you specific examples, Jose Aldo started when he was 18 years old and he was at the top of his spot for 11 long years and before 30 he could not perform any better against the top fighters, take a look at Daniel Cormier he started MMA when he was 30 years old and now he is 40 years old and he still fighting at the top of his game, so there is a big difference.

Really disappointed with Benoît Paire on his performance against Chardy as he was coming into this match in top form playing in clay and yet he came up short after winning the first set, could have went for winning one set rather than going for Benoit Paire to win the match Angry.
4102  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In 10 years from now a quantum computer on: July 22, 2019, 02:50:38 PM
In 10 years from now a quantum computer will have sufficient computation power to give a 51% attack on the bitcoin network.

Please discuss.
Check out the past discussions as there were many topics regarding quantum computing in the past and i have shed my opinions in the past, the amount of money you have to spent in order to make any meaning attack is the first hindrance and no one in the right sense will spend billions to destroy something even for experiment case and the realistic possibility is none as companies have spent more money to built a quantum computer for decades now and none of them are really successful till now.
4103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why does BCH use BTC to gain popularity? on: July 21, 2019, 07:57:43 PM
I think BCH and other coins such as Bitcoin Gold have been using Bitcoin’s popularity to grow. Bitcoin is like « the Dad » of all of those coins because without Bitcoin they wouldn’t be that much popular and worth investing in them since Bitcoin gives them their whole value.

Let me know about your opinion!
If people like you could understand the difference between bitcoin and the rest of the coins that starts with the moniker bitcoin then it is not a big task and none of those coins will scam anyone, people who has basic reading skills will understand the difference between bitcoin and an alt coin which starts with the moniker bitcoin, if they are not taking much attention to what they are investing then there is no one you can blame than yourself.
If you think that the moniker alone will hold up a coins value then i must come to a conclusion that the majority of the people who are investing in this market are naive Tongue.
4104  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: July 21, 2019, 12:29:11 PM
As a player yes, he did play well. As a team, they didn't deserve the cup neither did the kiwis. I wish Austalia or India could have won as these are the strongest teams out there. Nz clearly didn't belong there, they played the worst game for a cricket team playing in the finals.
The World Cup should have being shared for the competitive match they displayed in the finals and giving the world cup simply because one team scored more boundaries is ludicrous and they should have taken the wickets lost during the 50 overs rather than the boundaries scored. Australia lost the match by a big margin against England and India lost the match because of the weather conditions as the pitch was seaming a lot after the rain and still India fought hard till the end. I have a different opinion regarding the match as it was the most thrilling final i have ever seen in my cricketing experience as there was no real winner even after the super over.
4105  Economy / Reputation / Re: Livecoin Signature is back on: July 19, 2019, 12:24:06 PM
I mean it's not that he was lying but seriously, was there a positive feedback needed while the entire community were going against them for their shady service?
Really!
The positive feedback he gave is for the smooth dealings he had with the team running a signature campaign for them and he withdrew from dealing with them when they neglected to have a response regarding the issue and trust feedback are not moderated and if Hhampuz decides to give them a positive feedback, it is his sole decision for the deal they had, there are many flags against them for any user who is registering into their site to understand their past actions.

Still not sure why Livecoin team is so adamant for a small amount.
4106  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we officially consider Blockchain the new internet? on: July 17, 2019, 09:13:15 PM
I feel like Bitcoin is definitely the next generation of money but I'm unsure as to whether Blockchain can be considered the new internet. Although there's no Bitcoin without Blockchain... lol help me out here
Right now we cannot call bitcoin as the new internet as there are many layers that has to be fulfilled, we need applications and services to be built on top of the blockchain in order for us to call the new internet and it is possible once we sort out the scaling issues and activating some OP codes that was built during the initial phase of the bitcoin code release.  It is still a new platform in its infant stage and with time we will see many applications being run in the blockchain and the future is bright as we will see many changes in the next ten years.
4107  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Please stop betting with 1xBET scam! You have been warned. on: July 17, 2019, 08:54:07 PM
I am tired of reading so many stories about this bookmaker. Please do not play there.
If you are in this forum you must check out their trust rating, no one in the right sense will register nor send their coins in the site as it is well documented about them in this forum and their scams throughout their existence and you will never find any advertisement nor will find anyone vouching for them, it is a known scam gambling site and make sure no one deposit any coins in their site.
4108  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com | The Most Popular Bitcoin Casino | V2 & New games out now! 👽 on: July 17, 2019, 08:30:20 PM
The casinos most revenue however is from the 95% that gamble less than 5 figures, because there are many of those people and since they are mostly gambling with scared money, they usually are greedy and fearful and the casino makes a profit off them. Someone who bets in the 5 figure range usually has a net worth of 7 figures and they gamble without greed or fear and usually end up winning, if not they do it for fun.
The people with money who spend millions of dollars in casinos will be given a VIP status and they will give them perks and other offers and lower house edges to gamble and they will do that for compulsive gamblers who usually spent money on them and if you are a good gambler they will black list you and will never allow you to gamble in the first place buddy, there are many documented cases you can find online and if you want a particular case check the documentary on Don Johnson.
4109  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Main Club Partner of Watford FC ⚽ Fun. 🏀 Fast. 🎾 Fair. on: July 17, 2019, 06:40:21 PM
Hate to break it... But these are only the training shirts  Cheesy
Away shirts are yet to be released, but Watford guaranteed us they'll look fabulous as well! Looking forward!

And of course we're looking to do some giveaways of these as well on here! Keep an eye on the forum  Grin
Hats off to the sportsbet team for achieving an incredible feat that none of the crypto gambling sites could achieve and the training shirt looks really good and the name of sportsbet shines really well in them Smiley. Waiting to see their main jersey and i would like to know whether they will be playing with the new jersey with sportsbet advertisement in their friendly game against Ajax.
4110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why don't US gov buy a trillion worth of bitcoin? on: July 17, 2019, 05:48:10 PM
We all know the US gov rules, dictate to rest of the world.
So if they cornered the btc market, afterwards the btc price could only go up, factor with this  a few btc friendly directives, and a massive coup would have been achieved.
What is the downside?
Do you think that the tax payers money could be used to invest in bitcoin just like that, there is a budget for what their funds are being allocated, no one can stop any corporate or a billionaire to invest in any form of investment but no elected government can take decisions just like that when it comes to investing in any financial market. So this is a movie script kind of scenario and it cannot be a reality in any way possible Tongue.
4111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: July 17, 2019, 04:41:30 PM
In my house everyone is cricket fan and no one understand Tennis so even if I would have this in mind to split screen then I could not do that. I will have this regret always that I missed one legendary battle while I was watching another legendary battle for a different sports.

I will need to find a copy of the full match of this final or at-least the record of the fifth set and the tie break.
If everyone likes one spot then there is no issue, conflict of interest comes when the other person like Tennis and another one likes to watch cricket  Cheesy, it will be one heck of a situation, i have recorded the entire match as i was certain that England is going to win by a narrow margin but never expect the match to be this close and declare the winner because ICC said so  Cheesy i made a bet on Federer v Djokovic and hence it was nerve wrecking for me when Djokovic lost the second set 6 to 1 i was thinking that Djokovic fucked me over once again as i lost a lot of bet during 2017 Smiley.
4112  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Btc dump. It is time for some alts to recover against BTC on: July 17, 2019, 04:02:54 PM
I am seeing btc can dump to as low as $7700 level. I think it is not the end of BTC bull run but as BTC dominance so high and alts bleeding from January against BTC i think it is time now for some alts to recover.
Bitcoin had a good run this year and we are right now seeing a temporary correction because of all the legalization talks that is going on and it will effect the entire market and not bitcoin alone, i do not see that the alt coin market will rise leaving bitcoin aside, if the market stabilizes the price of bitcoin will move forward but that cannot be said about the alt coin market Tongue.

You really think XRP is a coin which worth to buy? It's a centralized system by Ripple foundation. Do not fall for it because of it's heavy marketing.
This is the problem with most of the new investors in this market as they do not understand which one is centralized and which ones are true decentralized cryptocurrency which has the potential to give you the profits, all they look for is the graph and and market capital and come to a conclusion that it is a good entry point and hope for the best  Grin.
4113  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has anyone else experienced this with Stake.com?? on: July 17, 2019, 03:39:56 PM
I never experience play gambling at stake .com, but if think stake.com isn't fair or it might be you aren't satisfied the service it's better to find another site to play your gambling habits. With fair service to the users.
They are one of the most trusted team in the crypto gambling space if you are not aware of it, it is a sister site to primedice and no one will raise any doubt against them. OP had some issues and hopefully it is being sorted out, i am playing in stake since its inception and never had an issue till now

It can still happen sometimes. I experience this issue when I play stake in two different browsers. Like I am playing auto dice on one, and poker on the other. I do this when there are race competitions. Sometimes the balance does not update on one browser.
It is a realistic possibility that your balance will not be updated in real time if you are playing with two browsers  Grin.

@OP might have sorted out his issue as he never responded after that, this topic must be locked now.
4114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: {Sports betting} Watch out for "professional tipsters" on: July 17, 2019, 02:48:11 PM
You are indeed correct. However, you would need at least six months worth of betting data before knowing whether a tipster knows what they're doing at the very least. Lucky streaks can happen
No one can provide a 90% win ratio in a six month time, you can make safe bets all the time with low odds and then too the risks are really high as you always see an upset most of the time, never pay for any tips as it is not worth paying them money to get some random tips for a sport you are not aware of, if your idea of making a bet is for a match you are keen to watch then you will have an idea on how the game will go and only wage a bet on those games rather than listening to some random tipster.

For example i am wagging a bet for two games today,
UEFA Champions League-  Celtic vs FK Sarajevo - i am going for Celtic to win as i know it is a safe bet.
Scotland League Cup - St Mirren vs Edinburgh City- in this match i am going to bet for St Mirren

In my mind this is a safe bet but anything can happen in a match.
4115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Imagine that you're new to crypto now on: July 17, 2019, 02:16:09 PM
Imagine that you are a new player in the crypto world and have no idea about this topic.
What are you doing now? Read the book? You invest your savings in bitcoin, maybe you look at other coins (alts) or maybe you see that the price is falling and you're waiting to buy even lower. If so, do you know when to buy? What's your plan for this moment? Smiley
I am not sure about any specific books that explains everything about bitcoin and you cannot find a legit financial adviser for the market and hence it is very difficult for a newbie to understand the market and the different coins in the beginning, it takes time and effort to learn about the basic infrastructure, the main pitfall for newbies is that they tend to search for new projects to get profit quicker and end up being a bag holder, if they understand that only bitcoin can be trusted in the long run and then their job to learn is easy and stick to legit top alt coins rather than investing in shit coins with lot of advertisement and fake promises.
4116  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Steven Mnuchin = U$D banker $lavery $hill on: July 17, 2019, 10:50:39 AM
He says that Bitcoin and other crypto is used for drugs and other illegal activities.
Did we not find J.P Morgans boat with a billion of coke on it?
Paper currency is mostly used to score drugs and other illegal activities, no one will go to a drug peddler and open his bitcoin wallet to score these drugs  Cheesy, after all you need the paper currency to snort these after scoring these and you cannot digitally snort these up with bitcoin Tongue.

Why the fuck do we not have people on the other side of the fence speaking to ban FIAT or start by regulating the unlimited printing of it. What is Elon musk, Bill Gates, Mark Zuck doing? FUCKING PUSSIES
These people forget that fiat currency valuation comes from thin air. If a government is giving a promise that a paper currency has valuation you cannot trust those empty promise as they can very well withdraw those promises any time and you see the exact situation in India when the government declared that the currency is invalid.
4117  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The biggest battle for Bitcoin's life is coming on: July 17, 2019, 08:55:12 AM
I hope everyone is ready for it, because it's going to be the biggest test in your HODLING abilities, and resolve.
What would transpire is the biggest socio-political/socio-psychological attack that the community would ever see, and it would involve state-level actors/governments .
Prepare yourselves. It's coming.
We expected these sort of battle from the beginning and the free ride of bitcoin without regulation and other government intervention lasted for over ten years and the moment we had a huge rally in 2017 which took the price to $19k every government around the world started scrambling to find a way to regulate the market or to stifle the market and we are yet to find out how the market situation will be after all these regulations in place, anon coins will face the biggest hurdle to overcome these regulation as there are chances that they will force the exchanges to de list them if they are to continue as an exchange and we are yet to know what all countries will adopt the market.
4118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin & Altcoins Crashing, But ZEIT is doing fine! on: July 17, 2019, 03:59:37 AM
News articles are all crying now because BTC just lost a few grand and claim all altcoins are bleeding with it.
I guess that means ZEIT is no longer an altcoin , as it is doing find compared to the rest.  Smiley
ZEIT's Market Cap is either rising or holding steady.
I am not sure whether you are trolling here or just wanted to create a topic just like that, looks like you are a bag holder of this shit coin and with a daily trading volume of $196 USD do you really think that you can fool people into thinking that it is a great shit coin Tongue.
There are many pump and dump coins in the market and when the entire market goes down you will see a momentary spike in these shit coins to lure newbies.
4119  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betcoin.ag , Playbetr.com => Scam! on: July 17, 2019, 02:37:59 AM
If you have the access you claim then you could unblock accounts, withdraw funds and essentially do whatever you want, but you have no access.
He might not be having access to the funds or the control panel but he might have cloned the entire site, good to see that you clarify what is going on.

Stop lying and return the money to all who are blocked by contacting them by mail !!!
Have you lost any money and if so do furnish the proof, there is no one accusing them that they had lost funds to the site or accounts being frozen, from what i remember TwitchySeal had an issue with the site and it is well documented here in this forum. Unless there is legitimate claims about funds being confiscated there is no point here.

I did not. I stated that the OP has credible claims that Betcoin/PlayBetr has suffered a data breach. I cannot comment on the scope of the breach, though it seems pretty bad from the info OP has sent me and offered to send to me.
Cheers mate, i understand the situation now  Smiley.
4120  Economy / Economics / Re: Is institutional capital good or bad for Bitcoin? on: July 17, 2019, 02:09:42 AM
It is dangerous to assume the institutional capital will come into bitcoin without expecting anything.
We are yet to see institutional investment in the bitcoin market and once there is a clarity regarding the market from the regulators we might see huge investment from these institution and they will invest to reap the profits and they will have the power to manipulate the market because of their huge investment and it will be a boon for early investors as the price of bitcoin will go through the roof and the volatility will be high.
